She is the easiest teacher. all you need to do is go to class and take notes. You don't need to buy or read the book. Just borrow the case studies from the fool who bout the book. Shes really helpful and intelligent. You will be able to tell this becuase all she does is talk about herself. Take her!

Have her this semester for online MGT. She is very easy. The only thing is she gives a quiz every week and only two major exams (mid,final). But she is very easy

she's straightforward, interesting, and extremely helpful..everything is related to the actual course material..read the chapters and you'll be good to go! she's really kindhearted and extends her help to all who inquire (and even those who don't)

Took her online last semester and she was really easy. If you do the assignments for her, she'll give you an easy A. The midterm comes straight out the book, 5 essays and the final is all common sense.

Very kind to students. Email and feedback was very prompt. Talks about her life a lot, an interesting one too. Take her for any Management or Marketing course, not only becuz she is nice on grading, but also becuz the others stink compared to her. Enjoyed her class, even at 7:30am. You wont regret.

She is the best! Take her! Very smart and easy to talk to. No H.W., 4 very fair exams, 2 group case studies which she grades very fair and she makes the class enjoyable at 7:30am! You can't ask for better.

Very smart professor. Her lectures are very boring and each exam covers like 5 chapters. In general she's very nice and understandable and you get along with her very easily. She's a good grader and gives you more than you deserve.

She's a very good professor. You will definitely learn in her class if you want to. It's difficult to keep focused because she doesn't take attendance, but oddly enough she knows who is there and who isn't as big as that class was. Just pay attention AND read the bookand you'll do well. Make sure you do the Case Studies she assigns they help.

I took her for mgt 1001 and really enjoyed her class, and then took her again for mkt 1001. this class was different. group project that counted for 40% of your grade and tests were 15% each. you'd think it wouldn't be so bad, but the tests sucked in this class. you really need to be in this subject to grasp it. she's understanding, but tough.

the subj itself is an interesting one..she is a nice lady but tough professor..about 4 tests each were hard and i felt the more i studied the more confusing the test became..hard to tell where she gets her test material..group project was assigned and was kinda difficult..overall take the class is you need to or like marketing

GOOD TEACHER!she was always there to help you out if you needed any help. 3-4 tests that are pretty hard, use textbook website it helps!!! 1 project that is so EASY. if u can **** u can write the paper for her project. NO HW . DOESNT CHECK ATTENDANCE!even if grades are low she allows room for improvmeny . EXTRA CREDIT! got an A good class!!!!!!

She is such a sweetheart. she is very understanding. DNY was fun and she didn't bore us with all those other papers and sh** other profs made their students do. final project was fun. bang out the final project and attend 5 events and a community service thingy and u get an a+

test are very diffucult i recieved low 60's on all 4 she allows you to do extra credict assignments from the txt book. project at the end of the year is very easy got an a- so my grade was a b+ in the end. she is really nice, talks alot about her personal experiences.

Her online class is easy but u have to do ur work she will let u know everything i got a B+ and it is very easy

A very interesting, sarcastic person. Fun to be around. She's serious about work but very laid back. Lecture style teaching. Doesnt take attendance but knows who is there/not. Study the book cause her tests are all 40 MC from some computer program. Use the online course tool thing, also. Really helpful. Talk to her, she's hilarious. Good luck.

LICARI, hands down, the BEST! I had her Fall 07 and i just love her stories! Who cares if she talks the whole time, she's an awesome lady, and very accomplished in her field. As for MGT, you need to have to book if your going to do well. Also a group project, got an A, easy. Don't present it, just write the paper she gives you the option.

Loves to talk about herself. The class gets really boring if you're not interested in her stories but it's easy. Tests are curved if everybody doesn't do so well. One group project 3 tests and a final. Not amazing, not bad.

A couple of tests and a final which is a project/essay that you will work on throughout the semester, which is just one 4 page paper. She can be boring, but has a lot of life experiences that she will love to share with you more than teach at times. Read the textbook, test is straight from it.

Super boring class but a definite A or B. No exams just a group project and a few papers.Don't bother buying the book!

Dr Licari was an awesome teacher! She was kind and her class is an easy A!!! A few papers (which every DNY class has) and a group project which is your final. You work with your group every class. She always started class a few min late and let us leave after like 20 min. TAKE HER!!!! No attendance required. Also dont buy the book- never used

someone laid back bc can use laptop lets you leave early. you must do all the papers in order to do well in this class & same goes for the group project at the end of the semester-counts as your final. No exact due date and sometimes confusing abt assignments, but if you give EVERYTHING in by the end and do some XCred youre fine, take her!

She is a tough grader, but very helpful. She is clear on her subject, and involves the student's in various topics.

Great lecturer, really helps you understand the material through relatable examples. 4 tests(60%) 1 final project(30%). gives extra credit. her tests are a bit tricky, but just read the txtbk and use the study cards in the back of the book and online book and you'll do fine. shes a great person and very helpful, all you have to do is ask!

Comparing to other DNY courses... u don't have to do almost anything!! We don't have any quizzestest. Only a few short reflection papers, one large paper and a group project as a final exam. She takes students to see a Broadway play, Metropolitan Museum. SHE'S GREAT

Licari is a great professor, very passionate about her job. Class field trips to FIT, the MET and Broadway. No tests, no homework, a couple of reflection papers here and there, and a final group project with a 20 minutes presentation. Highly recommend you to take her!

We finally have a fashion minor, and this is the first course I took for it. Dr. Licari is THE BEST! Loved her class, she's very knowledgeable & has so much experience in the fashion world that you can really learn a lot. TAKE THE MINOR!!! Only a couple of tests, can be a little difficult but the extra credit & participating in class got me an A!

EASY A.. NO homework or tests. a couple of reflection papers are required though. Group project is your final and super easy . Trips to FIT Museum, Broadway Play and the Met/

She is soooooo chill. If you don't get an A in this class I don't know what you are doing!

Allows food, allows laptop, attendance is recommended, 2-4 Trips during the semester and 5-7 easy reflection papers. You must do a community service event. Final Exam (30%) is a group presentation that takes 5 minutes. Although class is allotted for 3 hours, she uses 1 and lets you out. Take her and enjoy it.

Loved this course. She uses her plethora of experience in different fields as examples. Very clear on exam (5) material, but some questions are definitely tricky. Would recommend reading the chapters, they'll make the exams easier. One group project that is incredibly unclear. Can be sassy, but one-on-one is incredibly sweet. Interesting lectures.

Decent professor. You don't need to show up, I barely did. There's a group project and a paper on it but I did nothing for it and got an A. I just made stuff up. She's nice and is lecture heavy. The final grade is made up of 3 tests the project and a couple of homeworks. She also let us out about 10 days before finals even started. Very easy grade

Good professor and very knowledgable! Tries to get the class involved during lectures. For tests, outline and read each chapter. The first test I studied from my notes and didn't do well, but I outlined for the second and did so much better! Group project is fun as well!

Since I had her for an online class, it was heavy on the textbook readings. The assignments weren't too time consuming. Only grades were homework assignments, a midterm, and a final. Neither of the two tests were too difficult. Also, had Dr. Licari for Principles of Marketing and loved her lectures.

Has to be one of my favorite professors at SJU. Very understanding, caring. Her classes are lecture based and she doesnt care if youre on laptops. Tests arent too hard you just have to review the chapters she says. She helped me get an internship which led to a job hire and shell go out her way to help you, as long as you show interest.

dr. licari is one of the most knowledgable and caring professors I've ever met, as long as you communicate with her and get the work done she won't let you down! one of the best professors at St. John's for sure, I take her class every chance I get because she truly is a gem! you will always learn something in her classes.

Professor Licari was a really good professor in my opinion and she is known across the University. She can get off topic and talk about her past but I found it interesting because it relates to business. She assigns barely any homework, if she does it's short. The reviews are good but sometimes not helpful when you get to the tests. Study!!

Took Dr. Licari last Spring, one of the kindest, wisest, sweetest ladies working at SJU. She takes on the attitude that her students are a direct reflection of her, and cares so much. Take her 10/10 times

She is a great professor, lectures are supplementary to textbook readings. Quizzes will be on sections of chapters so you don't even really need to go to the class. She has a lot of knowledge and connections in the Marketing world. She cares about her students and will help you, take the class but do the work if you want an A. Final project beware!

By far the most resourceful professor ever. Very interesting lectures and has a reasonable number of exams. The exams are hard but there is a project that if you do good on she'll be nice. I got 70s in almost all of them but got a nearly perfect score on the project so I got an A-. The class is not a walk in the park but you get a lot out of it.

Def knows what she's talking about! VERY knowledgable. Gives little HW; her tests are hard- either read the textbook or pay attention to her lectures (reviews the chapters) to do well on them; final project is the majority of your grade so don't slack off. Textbook is necessary. Taking her online was very simple and I actually learned. Discussion posts every week. She grades back fast. The best asynchronous course!

Took it asychronous and all the work was based on textbook readings and questions. No exams but a few short weekly assignment and no projects.
