Panella kicks ass, plain and simple. Her debate class is by no means easy, and you will work your ass off for the second half of the semester, but its well worth it. I have never been as excited about a project in a class as I am about my debate next week.

Panella is a great speech teacher. Interpersonal communications is her foretay. I worked pretty hard, but only because I wanted to. She kept me awake and excited all semester, never a dull moment. I learned a lot, also, and would definitely take her again. Loved the class, got an A ;) She tells you to read & buy the book, but ppl got an A w/o it.

Been at PCC for awhile and by far the best professor ever. Keeps you entertained and is very funny. I am terrified of speeches but her teaching style helps you overcome your fears. For some her grading may seem a bit hard but it is because she wants you to improve. If I was still at PCC I would take her again. Definitely recommended!!! =)

Panella's a GREAT teacher. If taking a speech class take any w/her. She makes learning fun & interesting. I'm a REALLY shy person but in her class you gain confidence. No tests in class but she does expect you to learn and finds out if you've learned through group projects or class assignments.

I will say ok. You have to memorized tour speech(word for word), not shy in talking in front of the class, @ least 5 to 6 speech get them interesting subjects, good eye contact and have to work alot with groups.

6 speeches, she tells u what you need to improve on so just do that for the next speech and you are good. she makes you do rough drafts and practice a lot but she really wants you to be ready for the real speech so it might be a bit of work but nothing to really stress you out.

I took her in the summer. She is an excellent professor. Attend every class. It is a lot of fun and you will learn how to speak in front of people and also how to move around the class. TAKE HER! SHE IS AWESOME!!!!

first time teaching class, so we were used as lab rats. Class revolves around teams with 4 projects which requires papers & presentations for each group. Stick with a team that has workers or else you'll get stuck doing all the work. Participate and you'll do fine. Very Funny and responds to e-mails quickly. Take her, she's worth it.

Panella's speech class is frikin' awesome. I have never felt comfortable speaking in front of class but she made it very comfortable and makes sure no one is embarrassed, she is super humorous. about 5 speeches, moderate work load, she goes over everything thoroughly there isn't really any time i was ever confused. she is awesome! Take her class!

Amazing.

SHE IS A COOL TEACHER, never had a lecture like hers. She does grade strictly, but that way you will aim to improve. Her lecture on public speaking is very helpful. When you have questions, do go visit her during her office hour. PRACTICE! Dont speak too fast, or read your notes. She will mark you down drastically. Overall, GREAT PROF.

AC is not only the funniest professors I've had, but she's also the best looking. Delicious. TAKE HER CLASS, SHE'S SO HELPFUL!

She is a great professor. class was never boring. Their is a lot of interacting. there are 3 projects, one alone and two group projects. Two term and finale although for our finale we jut played jeopardy and didn't have an actual test. She always relates material to real life which makes it simple to understand. She is super funny. Panella is by far in my opinion the best speech teacher at Pcc. She really cares about the well being of her students, and is a very down to earth, and likable person. Trust me if you take good notes, and you use what she teaches you on your debates, you should be fine. Oh yeah, her sence of humor is priceless lol =)

I felt she was a bit too broad on projects but if you ask for help she's there...make sure you choose your group wisely. The class is not hard if you study and pay attention. Really nice, super funny. Not a typical teacher in the "traditional" sense.

Grading and assignments follow the detailed syllabus. What you get depends on the effort you put in. I came in the first day hating class and left confident that I can tackle any public speaking scenario. Only bad thing was the class hours coincided with Sonic's 2-4pm drink happy hour which was bs. Highly recommended instructor.

Very engaging. Learned a lot in a short summer session. Fun from beginning of semester till the very end. Keeps you interested. Pay attention the the lectures and the reading. Make sure you take GREAT NOTES. Paying attention is key because what she says is on the midterm and the final.

Panella surpasses being a great teacher. The way she teaches makes learning very interesting and her kindness and understanding is very uncommon in college professors now a days...you shouldnt mistake her kindness for weakness. You are told up front not to expect a class with little work or "easy A's" but instead you will be taught and practiced in the course subject.But, if you pay attention, it is an easy A. Absolutely fantastic prof. Made the class fun and engaging, I actually enjoyed going. This was the best class I've had at PCC, I've taken a quite a few. It is not easy A, you do have work, and a lot of assigned speeches, but if you actually want to learn something and not waste your time, take it. Plus, she is super hot!! Yummay!

Panella is among my favorite professors at PCC. Her lectures are engaging, entertaining, and funny. She made a facebook group for the class, which was really helpful. I learned a lot about myself and how I relate to others. Going to her class made my day every time because she made us laugh and smile so much.

I will forever be greatful to Panella. This class was by far the best class I've taken at PCC. It is FUN, INTERESTING, and very EDUCATIONAL. I can now say that I honestly enjoy public speaking. This class requires plenty of time to PRACTICE speeches but the satisfaction having delivered a speech and not die is PRICELESS.

Class and teacher changed my life and how I view it. Totally recommend taking her and this class because you learn how to communicate with people and how to deal with situations. I took panella for a few speech classes and by far is the best professor I've ever had. You will earn your grade but it is one of the most helpful classes I've ever had.
