I don't know why she has a bad score- she is great! as long as you attend class and study you will have a good grade. she gives extra credit and is clear. Classes are all lectures, but she is organized and nice (as long as you are not very late). I needed a letter of rec for student gov and she had one for me in a day.

Professor Dolan is not the worst professor ever nor is she the best ever. I am taking her for Intro to Archaeology and she's fine. Her classes are all lectures she has some in class activities. Grade is based on 3 exams and a paper plus extra credit is given. Her exams are fairly easy. She's new at Delta but not new to teaching.

This Intro to Archaeology class is extremely informative. The textbook is never needed, but attendance is encouraged to keep up with all her lectures. Besides a few days of in-class activities, this class was all lecture. Even though it can be a bit boring, Dr. Dolan is a great person and an amazing teacher.

Ms. Dolan is an amazing teacher! At first I was really worried because all we did was notes but then she explains everything and does several little easy assignments to help you remeber everything. No Homework just three tests and some extra credit assignments! TAKE HER!!!

Dr. Dolan is adorable! I've heard a couple "aboots" from her this semester. :D She really loves what she does and explains things very clearly. She even gives out little easy assignments during class and there's an extra credit assignment too. Don't be late though - she won't let you stay.

Dr. Dolan is a great teacher. She gives clear power points before tests and has a cute Canadian accent. She is helpful and knows a lot about her field.

Absolutly loved this teacher. Anthro as a class is a little challenging with all the crazy species names and such, but Dolan made it interesting and easy to learn and was helpful. Lectures are vital to knowing what is on the test, so it's important to go to class if you don't want to be lost. Not a lot of writing, tests are pretty straight-forward.

great teacher. its an all-lecture class (powerpoint), with only about 3 easy multiple exams, an extra credit essay, & the final. i loved this class, it was veryy interesting, but you could get distracted if you don't sit in the front .

Dr. Dolan has great powerpoints and they really help when studying for the exams. If you go to class and take notes, there is no reason to not get a good grade. Make sure you are on time because she will tell you to leave if you walk in late and that you can't stay. Also don't have your cell out because she will kick you out. I loved this class

Good teacher, a bit scary in class, she has some fun moments but she makes it intimidating to ask things in class or even to answer her questions. Nice teacher in person and fair grader, take notes, follow directions on the term paper, and come every day, you'll get an A!

I enjoyed going to her classes because she made Anthro interesting. However, she graded my midterm so hard saying I didn't understand the article [when all I really did was summarize it]. Haha. And I personally think her tests were hard even when I showed up to class everyday and took notes.

Dolan is very nice and understanding. However, she can be intimidating but if you get over that she can be very helpful. Definitely recommend LISTENING and actually going over notes after class. It's just the class overall that has a lot of material that needs to be memorized. Again, no phones or being excessively late.

Dolan is an amazing teacher, yes her class is hard but just studying and for sure you will pass. She makes sure you understand what she is trying to say and any questions she will help. She is a good professor. The class is somewhat difficult though. You just have to study! She offers extra credit in her tests, they're worth 1 point though. Just do well on the tests, the research paper, in class assignments and you'll do just fine! I passed with a C.

The class is really interesting. She has a "No BS" attitude so you need to be serious with the class and come every day. I never studied for the tests (averaged B-/C+) and didnt turn in the one paper worth 10% of your grade, but I still got a C. If I actually tried, I probably could have done way better. Really good teacher.

Annlee Dolan is by far the best teacher at Delta College. She has a real passion for teaching and it shows in her lectures. The class was definitely the hardest class ive taken besides Chemistry but it was so rewarding. I studied for four hours a day for the entire weekend gearing up for her tests and it paid off big time. Highly recommend Dr. D

Honestly this class wasn't the walk in the park I thought it was going to be, however it wasn't that bad either. Study all the review questions and notes and you can get a hard earned A or take it with Scully she is very nice and easy!!!!

The two commentors before me are stupid and obviously were too stupid to follow the rules. She is VERY explicit on her rules and her expectations at the beginning of class. You can't handle it? Leave. If you pay attention, do what she says, and review the material, you'll get an A. End of story. Yeah, she can be scary, but she doesn't mess around.

If showing up on time and prepared for class is too difficult for you than you shouldn't be in college. I found her class to be tough but worthwhile. Dr. Dolan was one of the best professors I've had at Delta. She had a no-nonsense attitude which I really enjoyed. If you're going to have phone withdrawals this may not be the class for you, but you will learn the material. You do need to study, and if you do you will surely get an A.

Dolan is not the easiest professor, but she knows her stuff. She made things so clear and interesting. She doesn't put up with bs, so just be attentive and she will be there for you. Dont be late, and do the homework. I tried to take skully, she was a joke. Dolan is amazing and you will get out actually learning a lot!

I must admit I really enjoyed going to her class. I got a B in the class but its not easy. She is strict but nice. Never much homework. I'd recommend her just don't miss any classes or your screwed.

She is a great teacher, and you can tell she loves what she does. lot of note taking but the tests are straight of the notes. an easy and fun class. She loves to talk about different sites and can be easily distracted at times. Her tests are pretty easy if you review your notes. she is strict about being on time.

Dr. Dolan is a good, attentive teacher who really cares about what you learn. She is serious about her students that are serious about learning. She will always explain things if you need help and if you study for the tests, they're just like the review. The term paper is hard for some, but she clearly sets her standards for you. I learned so much!

Doctor Dolan is an amazing teacher. She is strict and holds students to standards that are expected of college level academics. If you study and do your work on time there is no reason to get less than a B in her class. Your grade truly does represent the time and effort dedicated by the student.

I highly recommend Dr. Dolan for those students who take their education seriously. She does not like when student's cell phones go off in class and will dismiss you is your's goes off, and I applaud her for doing so. She's definitely an awesome professor!

The 2 midterms are worth 25% of your grade each and the final is 30%. These tests are only out of 50 points. 10% for the term paper which she will give you a 0 on if you don't follow directions, 10% for class/online assignments, but hardly any homework. Test review days are optional, but very helpful. Lots of notes every day. Tough, but got an A.

Very interesting class and Dolan is a great teacher. She at first is very strict and does not mess around. She does grade pretty hard and scare people by telling them that there is a high fail rate on tests and midterms. As long as you fallow the instructions on her assignments you will do fine. FYI!!!! Dr. Dolan forces you to study just about everything there is as it will all be on the tests. Her online lectures are lengthy but very helpful and detailed. I would only recommend taking her class if you are able to put the time into it or are passionate about the subject.

Professor Dolan's class is really time consuming. In order to pass her class, you MUST listen to her lectures and read the textbook. Her quizzes and tests are moderately hard. Study, study, and study to receive a good grade. I found the material to be quite interesting. Take this class if you really need to, but be prepared to work for your grade.

The tests are hard. Studying is really important. On the second test you take, she gives you an article to read. READ THE ARTICLE. If the class doesn't do good on the essay question on the test, she gives you a harder essay question on the final. So beware.

Dr. Dolan is an excellent professor who doesn't take any crap. She refuses to dumb down her class or give extra credit to slackers. I enjoyed the challenging material and concise lectures. She has an open door policy but will give a zero if instructions are not followed. My favorite class and professor. I worked hard for my A and learned a lot!

Dr. Dolan is a tough professor; will suggest that students drop her course if they are struggling. Took her online class and struggled through every test! She will not adjust her course to fit anyone's schedule-it is her way only. No extra credit, paper is tough and is graded as a pass or fail. If you miss one source or plagiarism is suspected-fail

Dr. Dolan is a great teacher. Her lectures are interesting (notetaking is essential).and she gives out class exercises that help engage you with the material in a fun way. She is passionate about Archaeology and excited to spark that passion and develop it in her students. Highly recommended.

I personally enjoyed Professor Dolan's class very much, as she lectures in a concise manner and introduces a lot of interesting information. I do agree with others that this is a class that you have to earn your A- she does not expect little from you and expects you to commit yourself in class.

This is not an easy class so be prepared to put in some effort. The way she runs her class is a bit strict, but at the end of the day she is a really good teacher. She really knows what she is talking about and is always open for questions, especially during the labs. & try to get close with your lab partner! It helps having someone to study with

Dolan gives great lectures through her video clips that I thoroughly enjoyed. Just make sure to watch all her video lectures and take notes then the quizzes and exams will be a breeze.
