I highly recommend him for any biology course he might teach! Very helpful, easy to understand, well-structed lectures and tests. I love the way he teaches: lots of visual material, pictures and videos, practice questions and lab sessions, as well. Won't go wrong if you pick him!

Professor Ebrahim really knows about the human body and medicine. If you would like to learn about practical applications regarding health and nurition...this class is for you. I did not get him for A&P I&II. That is too bad for me. However, I did have great anatomy and physiology professors in Philly. Plus we had access to an open lab for more ed

Dr. Ebrahim is an excellent professor; he teaches the textbook theory along with a clinical approach defining patient/ medical professional relationship. I highly recommend him if you want to truly learn about Medicine.

Dr. Ebrahim is a very good professor. He is very passionate about medicine and gives an MD's point of view in his lectures. Be prepared to work and you will do well in the class.

He's a great teacher. He is extremely helpful and his lectures are not boring.

He is a really nice guy and is very helpful but he can be disorganized and confusing. His tests are often difficult, not due to the material, but rather because his written English skills are poor and the questions he writes himself are frequently ambiguous and confusing. Still, he is fair and I had an overall positive experience in his class.

Dr. Ebrahim is probably the best teacher at Truman. The class is hard but he is sooo good teaching that you will definitely learn more than you think. He is extremely helpful and he cares about his students. You will have to work hard but he is good at explaining things. Maybe a little disorganized, but nobody is perfect. Highly recommended!

He's very intelligent and smart. He knows what he's talking about since he's practicing medicine himself. I definitely advise all of you to take him. You will really learn a lot from him. He's method is a combination of classic and contemporary technique which is a great balance for such a class that require a lot of understanding. Kudos to you!

He is good teacher. He incorporates his knowledge in medicine in our class that makes us understand. He knows what he teaches. He gives homework every chapter which I feel entirely worthless because the answers are already found at the end of the book. He is cool, calm and supportive which make him more admirable than other teachers.

A great teacher! His leture style is easy to digest and not boring! This guy can illustrate on the board almost any diagram from the book and explain it in a easy way to learn! His class req. hard work and do Not fall behind! Take his class if you are willing to put effort in getting that A! It will be a Very rewarding experience!

professor Ebrahim has a lot of knowledge and experience to share while teaching. He give us very very interesting labs to do. His language is clear and you can approach him any time with problems relating to the subject. He is the best. I would recommend him to every one especially students who want to work in the field of health care.

Stellar professor. His class isn't easy but take his class if you want to know your Anatomy. He keeps class in order and doesn't suffer fools. He's one of the best at Truman!

My only complaint about Ebrahim is he is soooo unorganized (He forgot we had a test one day) and therefore your time and grade may suffer only slightly. He pretty much hands you an A for the class if you show up and do the work. He does not want you to fail, he has genuine interest in your ability to succeed. Very nice guy too.

I took his A&P II class a few years ago. Now I'm in nursing school and I still remember his drawings and parts of his lectures. I still refer back to his class notes to refresh anatomy knowledge. The best professor at Truman hands down. You do have to put in effort for an 'A' but if you are going into the healthcare career, take his class.

Excellent! You will work your butt off but it will be so worth it. Teaches real world application well beyond the textbook. Defines complicated concepts simply. This man can draw anything (in full-color too). Tough class but fairly graded. The best teacher at Truman.

He is a wonderful teacher. You WILL learn in his class. He is very nice and very clear. He makes the class fun and interesting. He is willing to work with you if you do not understand something. He is very very patient. With that said if you take him, prepare to cry during the dissection, formaldehide hurts...LOL

I would strongly recommend taking this class. Dr. Ebrahim is a thorough & informative instructor. Participate fully in the lab experiments & pay attention to your individual lab books. There is a reason that you have a record of the lab assignments. Use it as a study guide. You will be graded fairly & gain knowledge from the class.

The most wonderful man at Truman, bar none. First few weeks he comes on really strong, you feel like you're in med school and not simply Truman, but it eases off and learning is always fun. I am 48 years old and I've had a lifetime of good and bad professors, if an award was possible for the best, Dr. E unquestionably deserves it!

He is one of THE BEST professors at Truman! Microbio is much harder than his Anatomy course. Also labs are very detailed ? study these well! He is amazing at multi-tasking! So, stay organized or your grade may suffer. And do not arrive late or he will embarrass you.

definitely one of the best professors i've had at truman! class was informative. he knows his stuff. he's keep you on your toes with all the knowledge he throws at you. lab notebooks are extremely important! stay organized and keep up! study hard and you will get an A.

This is the 2nd class I've taken with Ebrahim, and I would definitely take another if he taught anything else I need for Nursing. You have to earn your grade, but if you work hard in his class he definitely recognizes your effort and rewards you accordingly. He explains everything wonderfully and keeps his lectures interesting. I highly recommend!

You will def. earn your grade in that class. He is a great lecturer and will help students if they need it. He knows how to engage students and challenge them properly.

Dr Ebrahim is very good at teaching specially drawing section of different body parts which helps students to understand subject clearly. He prepares for health care field. If you don’t study then don’t expect good grade. Although vast subject, he tries to cover as much as possible. He follows book and points out imp stuffs. I recommend him highly.

Professor Ebrahim is a great teacher, but make sure you have enough time to study and know the material. He is pretty good about reviewing before an exam and is patient with students.

I took Biology 226 and 227 with Dr. E and am currently registered to take Microbio with him as well. There is only one word I can use to describe him: AMAZING! Do you have to work for your grade? DUH. This is no easy A but he is the best thing that will happen to you academically. Amazing and genius man he is indeed! Best prof. to ever teach me!

Awesome teacher. The only reason I was nervous to appoach him in the beginning of the semester about personal problems was cuz he's from the same country as me and I'm not comfertable around my race, BUT I later learned he's easy to approach and talk to. Really goes out of the way to give extra help if you need it-which you will. Hard course though

I really enjoyed this class!!!Don't get me wrong, it was HARD but it's a hard course so yes, you'll have to put a lot of work into it. Dr. E wants you to do well and he will do everything he can to make sure that you do.I'm grateful that I took his class. My ONLY complaint is that they lecture portion was online and I really disliked that part.A+!!

He's an excellent teacher. Idk why he has few bad reviews. He goes above and beyond to help his students. this course is hard. Even though he has a busy schedule he's always doing something but every time you'll go he will explain the material. He's so passionate about biology. He he sees you're working hard he'll definitely reward you.

I took him during Spring 2013 and loved him! Sure, he is a little hard considering he used to be a doctor, but he's willing to give that extra time to pass the class. He's very busy but actually wants to see his students succeed. He pushes us to be doctors instead of nurses. Wish I could take him for 227, and I would, but the timing is the problem.

Dr. Ebrahim is by far best professor in Truman for biology/microbiology. He makes it interesting and fun; however, the course work is somewhat challenging. He is very lenient and will help you get higher grade if you try. He likes people being on time and paying attention other vise don't show up to his class. Took him for bio 226, 227 and micro.

The BEST prof I have ever had!!! Still taking his class. He is super fun, and helpful, and extremely sweet person! I absolutely adore him, and will be taking 227 with him next semester!

The most effective teacher in Truman College! Dr. Ebrahim thinks outside the box in ways to give students a real world application for knowledge and taking learning to the next level! He's an MD and definitely fluid, confident and remains true to the subject while sensitive to the needs of students!!! Take him, he's the BEST!

He's incredibly specific about what to expect in the test. He likes to jot down all important information on the board. His physician background lets him give a lot of practical knowledge of different procedures happening in the field. All around, a classic hit; his conservative teaching style makes good use of essential information.

I took 3 classes with Ebrahim, so I obviously liked him. Be aware that he is a moody cuss. He has his bad days, and you'll know when he's having one. But he cares a great deal about his students, and if you want a good grade, he'll help you get one - though it will still be up to you to do the work. These are hard classes, no easy A's in anatomy.

He's getting me through Rush GEM Nursing school! Well not entirely, but his lectures are so detailed, often going way in depth, and drawing pictures. Now, in my grad patho class, I feel like it's just a review to Dr. Ebrahim's lecture. Listen and take as many notes as you can to what he's sayingdrawing. Practice his old tests for exam success!

Dr. Ebrahim gave awesome lectures. Lectures were interesting. He is a tough grader. He inspired me and made my transition back to school a lot easier.

Professor Ebrahim is by far the best professor I've had, surpassing all my professors at NIU. He cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed. His lectures are very informative and engaging. I regret not taking classes with him sooner. Read, take notes and study hard. It's not an easy class but if you put in the work, you will do great!

An outstanding teacher and very professional overall. I can't be thankful enough to him because he not only teaches well but he sees every student as a personality. AMAZING lecturer and GREAT teacher. Funny guy who knows his material very well. Lectures are clear and will cover most everything you need to ace the exam. Easy to pass if you put in the time to study and memorize. Having the book is important for this class. Do Pearson quizzes and ?'s for practice. Def take his class! Had him for 226/227 w/ A's.

Posts everything online. We don't have to print the labs (save $) Study guide before tests and explains everything well. No surprises.

he's amazing, so organized and follows the syllabus. if you attend lectures and take good notes you, will do well in the class. fair grading. gives about 4 exams and a final. his exams are straight from lectures and book. he's so specific about the things he wants you to study. his lectures are amazing. first thing, you have to study or the class. he makes it really easy but still microbiology is hard. he gives extra points in every exam. he curved the scores. his classes are awesome

There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said. Ebrahim makes the class relatable to real life situations and will not move on until you understand the material. The tests are totally fair and he gives study guides. I learned so much more from him than I did from my 226 professor and regretted not taking him sooner.

Currently taking 2 classes with him, 227 and micro233. I look forward to going to all of his classes. Dr. Ebrahim is an inspirational human being and has become my favorite professor. No science class is easy but he helps you understand every topic along the way. As long as you stay on top of your studies you will get the grade you want/deserve.

Hands down the best professor I've ever had! No one looks forward to science classes, but professor Ebrahim makes it so bearable, interesting and fun all at once. He is genuine and works well with students when we have questions or concerns. I can't wait to take Bio 227 with him.

Dr Ebrahim is one of the best professors for A&P, he's extremely knowledgeable on his subject and passionate. I wish I had taken him for 226 too.

Dr. E is nothing less than spectacular. Micro is thought to be a dull subject but he made it so exciting all throughout with relevant clinical applications due to his medical background. Class is exam heavy, however he supplies study questions which are basically exam q's, lab reports/hw he basically gives full cred for just completion. Curves also

Dr. Ebrahim is literally the best professor for the anatomy and physiology course. This class requires time and hard work no matter who's teaching it. Taking it with doctor Ebrahim was the best decision I made. In summery: great professor, He's there to help, cares about his students future.

Consistently gave clear, thorough explanations of the coursework, and made sure to connect with the class via real-world examples, humor, and mnemonics. The class was difficult, but due more to the material than to him adding any extra difficulty.

Professor Ebrahim loves his job and cares about his students. I took A&P with this professor and would definitely take him again. No pop quizzes, follows his schedule. His exams questions are mostly from questions that he posts online. Listen to him very well in his classes and study your book.

Very knowledgeable & experienced in his field. Will tell you EXACTLY whats on the tests. Pay attention to the Q&As he posts online! Many of those Qs are on the tests! Funny and understanding. Read read read the textbook & always go to class. Take advantage of the models at the science center for lab exams. Create study groups & quiz each other.

Dr Ebrahim loves his job and cares for his students. He always follows his schedule, no unexpected quizzes. The Q&A that he posts online will be on exams. Do not buy new book for his class, he is ok with old version(cares about his students), because the new one is very expensive(I bought my A&P 8th edition for 9$ at Half Priced Books Store).

Great professor. Nice guy, easy going, and pretty funny. Pretty easy class. I passed with a B with minimal studying. If you put a bit of effort it'd be an easy A. Tests are pretty easy since the study guides tell you pretty much exactly what will be on there.

Professor Ebrahim is one of the best college professors Ive ever had, including my four years at a university. He is encouraging, tells you your potential and wants you to succeed. His teaching style is easy to swallow and he is hilarious. A very intelligent and compassionate man. I signed up early 4 next semester 227 to make sure I get him again.

Ebrahim is easily one of the best professors at CCC. I took the Saturday Microbio class and he made the six-hour-long class not only bearable, but interesting and engaging! He will work hard to prepare you for the exams, but you need to attend class to know the material. If you come to class and study outside, it's a great class!

I am so thankful to have found this professor. He made a difficult subject easy to understand and enjoyable. All he asks is that you are respectful, try your hardest and attend class to participate. He really sticks to the syllabus which makes things much easier! I am taking bio 227 with him next semester and would recommend him to everyone!

Great professor. Microbiology is a difficult subject/class but he makes it understandable and fun. 80% (800 points) of your grade is based off 8 exams (6 exams and 2 labs exams). Pay attention during lectures and take good notes and you should have no issue achieving a final grade of an A. He wants everyone to succeed!!

i did the bare minimun and received a C. Dont let my C deter you from the fact that he is a great proffessor. very knowledgable and understanding. He doesnt like when students are late however. he provides study guides that are very similar to exams. I recommend.

A really amazing professor that managed to take an incredible amount of information and teach it in an easy to understand and efficient manner. Loved the lectures and felt I learned so much from him. Definitely looking to taking more classes with him and if you like the class and are engaged he will respect that.

The best prof I've have at CCC. One of the rare ones who both knows the material in depth (was a doctor in Pakistan) and is great at teaching. You have to put in the work but he tells you what to focus on and is very clear about his expectations so you always feel supported. He really cares about his students!

awesome microbiology instructor ! he has a great sense of humor but wants you to learn . please read his powerpoints and listen to what he tells you to focus on very kind and is available after class. professor likes his students to engage he likes to make you think. I learned a lot labs were fun !!!
