best professor! recommend to anybody

i would recomend this professor to anyone! he was very helpful and took hours of his own time just to help his students understand the material. AWESOME PROFESSOR!!!!!!

JUST TOOK HIS MID-TERM, IT WAS VERY HARD-NOTHING LIKE HIS QUIZES. BUT OVERALL HE'S THE BEST TEACHER AND YOU CAN LEARN ALOT FROM HIM! SWEET GUY TOO.

Tests challenging but won't find better MCB teacher anywhere. Wants you to succeed, explains thoroughly, and always makes time for his students.Approachable, funny, never boring.

His Lab class is tough. I took up more of my time than the lecture. But, he is very funny and very thorough. Just be prepared to study your behind off. He doesn't want you to fail, he'll give you extra credit and a chance to retake one of his test. I started with a D (didn't stuudy) and ended up with a B. great teacher

He is the best teacher I have ever had at BCC. I think that it is the subject that is hard and not him, but once you study for his test, you will definitely pass his class. he will also curve your final grade.

For those of you who have to take biology of MCB with prof khan your on the right track. It's a difficult subject but he will help you as you go along show him your interested and he will make sure you pass. Best teacher, challenging, concerned, make sure you get the material, provides lots of tools to help you to learn the material and pass the class. He challenges you to next level, I really recomend him for both lab and class. Also take the essay test which he ask you like 5 essays but are better.

The best professor at BCC. Mr. Khan is very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I have never seen a teacher so humble. I learned a lot in his class. If you need to take micro, you better take it with him. He is just superb!

Mr. Ahmed is a great professor. I took this class in the summer and got a B. This is a class not to be taken lightly. Studing is mandatory, but the way he teaches you can remember his lectures. He let's you even video tape his lectures, that's how much he wants you to pass. Very helpful teacher.

Prof Kahn is a great teacher. He is a stickler about attendance and you have to study, but he gives study sessions and he does give pretest and reviews. He makes learning fun.

MCB is a lot of study, but Dr. Khan said that students who get good grates in his class will get up to RN almost guarantee. It is hard, but KHAN is there to help out and he knows how to teach perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMANDED, But you will have to work hard and if you do, Khan will help you out. WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE HIM. He's the best professor I've ever had. Very fair, helpful, and caring guy. He wants us to do well and helps with everything he can. His quizzes in lab are a bit easier than the tests in lecture in my opinion, but he's still great. It's not an easy course and it requires a lot of studying but he helps as much as he can. He also make it pretty fun.

Prof. Khan is the best Microbiology teacher at north campus. He helps in any way he can. He has study sessions before tests and will answer any questions via e-mail, phone call or office visit. Don't know where these A+ comments are coming from when the entire class struggled to get the grade. His previews are nothing like the tests. Most are situational questions and you better prepare yourself mentally for them. He's very caring and funny but don't let that fool you. After the first exam, most students dropped the class.

I truly love this guy; he is one of the sweetest professors at BBC. Don?t get it twisted, but this class require a lot of study time. My best advice to everyone who?s going to take this course is study his notes only, and anything he draw are mention multiply of time, write it down and include it in your study routine. Teaches well but NOT EASY. Everyone thought they were going to fail but by the grace of God, I passed with a B. Study and you will make it. And don't memorize. Understand the concept.

If you are looking for an easy grade he is not the one for you. If you are a serious student and truly want to understand microbiology than he is your guy. A no non-sense kin of professor who is very knowledgeable, caring, and helpful but you MUST do your part too and study hard. A True Gem.

I took this class in the fall. I enjoy this class. He requires a lot of critical thinking and sometimes a little too much. But after the first test, you start to get a feel for his test and his way of teaching. He provides a lot of help, including Saturday study sessions, office hours, in class discussions. I receive a B in lecture and A in lab.

Prof Khan is a very helpful and sweet man. If you show interest in your work, he will be more than willing to guide you.Takes time out of his hectic schedule to do reviews on Saturday. I really think he is awesome. Critical thinking is a must.

Took Prof Khan last term. A very fine teacher and an equally nice human being.If cannot apply the information learned in class you can forget about what your 4.0 GPA. Microbiology is not easy, but with a Prof like Khan and a willingness to learn you will succeed. Prior to tests he sets up several test reviews and helps you grasp it all. He doesn't require a text book which is great! He gives you all of the notes and information you need. Although attendance is not mandatory, it is necessary to do well in the class! If you do not want to study and work hard, then you should not plan on working in the medical field. I learned so much from Khan; he is caring and very intelligent

This Professor is one of the greatest professors at Broward College. He takes the time to explain the material, conduct reviews, and understand that life presents obstacles. I highly recommend. Four exams and I suggest doing your best on the first ones because the last two are harder.

i dont have a 4.0 like some people but i worked very hard for my A's. read notes, read his pretests,attend class, reviews & record everything. i got a c the 1st exam, learned my lesson and got A's ever since. he even let us take a semi cumulative to replace our lowest grade. pay attention to detail and you should be fine

By the time he is thru with you, you know where those darn suckers come from and how they reproduce and how to avoid them and how to detect them and stain them to see thru a microscope!I would take him again

Anyway, I tried really hard and I got a C;reason I took him in the summer term and had another professor for lab. It was hard for me,but A,s is possible.

Professor Khan Lab was a lot of fun. I highly recommend Khan for both Micro and Lab. I was fortunate to get both on the same day. It was worth the drive. He makes sure you understand what you are learning in lab before each lesson. Midterm/Final only plus credit for lab manual, unknowns and participation. You must study. There is a lot to memorize.

I can honestly say Professor Khan is the best professor I have encountered with at BC. This class is not easy and he tries to be tricky, but really what he is doing is teaching us how to use our brains. Everything won't always be laid out in the plain for us and I learnt just that. Professor Khan was such a great professor. Do not listen to people telling you microbiology is that hard. Micro is a subject that requires some time to learn the material. Professor K could not more helpful. His notes are clear, he explains well. Go to class, take notes, read after each class. You will see how fun and easy micro can be.

I almost dropped his class. their will be 4 test given, 1 semi cumulative for those who did not do well on the first 2 test. he gives 8 quizzes. his test are easy if study and understanding material. study ppt, pretest, and whats important for test questions . he will pass u if 1pt away.

he's the best. pay attention, he repeats key things and he'll ask the class questions before lecture begins. these will all be on the test. lectures are on youtube. watch them! use them to re-write your notes. he will warn you of any "trick questions" in advance. gives pre-test w key to study and gives advance notice before "pop" quiz.

Very engaging professor! He easily grabs your attention and explains concepts clearly. He has older lectures on youtube as well. Very knowledgable professor but he does expect you to memorize a lot of details. However, he will let you know what he expects and what will be on the exam. One of the best teachers I've ever had, not saying easy but a great teacher. He cares if you do and is very willing to work with you. Ask questions, get clarification . Take detailed notes, if you just print notes and don't attend class you'll miss a lot. Take him for lecture and lab. I was dreading it, ended up loving it.

He is a phenomenal professor ,really great guy i honestly mean that. Initially i hated his class because i wasn't really fond of his style of teaching/ testing. But eventually he grew on me , the key to passing his class especially the lab is to enlighten yourself on the topic before class by reading ahead , and just studying really.

I was nervous about taking MCB2010+Lab, but taking it with Khan was worth the long drive. No textbook, just read his powerpoints instead. He gives pretests (study it!), videos on YT, and weekend review before the exam. He also allows you to record his lectures. His class is not necessarily an "easy A", but it's definitely doable!

Prof. Khan's microbiology class is not an easy A. Plan on showing up to class (even though attendance is not mandatory) and studying a lot and you will do just fine. He lectures the information exactly like how it will be asked on the tests, so listen! He is a fair grader and wants his students to succeed. Take prof. Khan & put a smile on his face!

Professor Khan is a decent professor that I recommend taking for MCB2010. He does not require the textbook for lecture because he has PowerPoints of the material on D2L. The test is derived from that and a few questions hell ask in class. MCB2010 isnt an easy A, however, if you put in some time to review his notes, then you will do just fine.

I took this class in 6 weeks. We had 5 exams in lecture, lab we had a final n midterm, 31 lab reports n a project. I received an A in both lab n lecture. It was very stressful. You study A LOT. I respect him as a teacher n loved what I learned. He is tricky. U can't just memorize, U have to know the concepts. Can ask him many n any questions.

I took Prof. Khan for Micro and it was one of the best decisions I have made. He has been teaching Micro for 30 years and really loves what he does. Micro is a very hard class (like, you NEED to study A LOT to pass), but it's very doable and Khan literally does everything to help you pass (study guides and review videos). HIGHLY recommend him!

If you understand the concepts that he teaches, you will have no problem getting an A. He is awesome and explains so well

Okay so Im just gonna start of by saying, micro is not an easy subject! No matter what professor you take, you have to work hard! I see a lot of people saying that in order to pass his class you have to study for hours. DUH! You have to study to pass. Professor Khan is great! If you wanna learn something then take him!

Professor Khan cares about his students. He wants u to pass and will give u every tool to prepare u for exams/practicals. Its up to u to study. He is kind and will explain anything u ask. He gives study guides, post detailed PowerPoints, and recorded lectures online for reference. Micro is hard no matter what Professor you take. Khan is awesome!

Prof. Khan is great! Micro is not easy but he tries to help out and explain in depth if you are confused! His tests are hard because he wants you to think. You will have to study to pass! He will make you work for it! If you wanna learn something then definitely take him but get ready to study!

hes amazing. dont get why his reviews are negative. trust me science was never really my subject & i still got an A. study the packets & i promise youll pass. accessible outside of class & truly cares for his study. love him. hes so sweet $ cracks jokes as well. if youre reading this Professor Faud, know i appreciated ur class & will miss you!

hes so sweet !!! never rude, ever. even if you ask a stupid question because youre confused he will answer you nicely. ( hes a bit unorganized i can admit) but hes so sweet $ cares for his students. take him if you want to learn & get an A. ill miss having a knowledgeable and caring professor. ( got an A & studied & worked for it )

One of the best teachers I have ever taken at Broward College. I would take him over and over.

This class was so cool. We used interactive lab. Quizzes, once a week. Please do not miss the homework assignments, there is an easy 30% right there, the other 70% is part of the quizzes. If you do the lab, you are good to go for the quizzes :)

Prof takes actions personal, too much drama, class was stressful. He didn't know how to navigate online platform. Not organized, but EXCELLENT LECTURES. Takes time to teach. Ask any ?s content related & you will learn from him. Avoid taking micro if you have heavy course load & are working. YOU NEED TO STUDY! Exams are based on lectured material.

I would recommend Professor Khan to anyone serious about learning. His lectures are amazing and having had him has prepared me for the nursing program. Yes, Grades are only dependent on exams, and as you progress in more difficult classes, this is the norm. Just study the material, take time and ask questions in class, he will be there to teach.

Although the class was only graded on 4 exams, his exams are very straight forward. Everything on the test is based off his class lectures. Study guides are not exactly what's on the test but will give you a general idea of what you should study for. Professor truly cares about his students and even offers review sessions (group and one-on-one)

Amazing professor. Microbiology is a hard subject itself but Professor Khan gives amazing lectures and makes it a littler easier. Compared to other professors I've had before in the health science, he is extremely easygoing. Make sure you do not take this science with any other heavy courses. This is a class that you will have to study hours for.

We were graded based off 4 exams for the entire semester (yes, scary) but, if you go to his lectures and listen, all the answers are basically there and in his pretests. Microbiology is a hard subject itself so be prepared to study lots.

I took MCB2010 this spring semester. It is pretty difficult class. Professor provides recorded lectures and does a review before each exam which really helps. If you pay attention to details that he points at and take notes you will pass.

He's a great professor, he lectures heavy because it's a lot of material, there is only 4 exams and 1 semi exam, please study for his exams there not easy. Attend the lectures because it will help you with the exams. His labs are the same, the experiments are fun and the tests are hard just like the lecture so please study and do your best.
