Man, the Leedster was just amazing! He was so helpful and super funny. One thing I didn't much like was that he always paced around during tests which made me nervous, but overall amazing teacher! Related material to real-world examples and always had funny videos to show that related to Research Methods! You'll definitely enjoy his class!

Looooved him! He's very young, personable, funny, and a great teacher. Likes to show us funny videos in class that are related to the topic. The only thing is he talks very fast so its a little hard to keep up sometimes. Buy definitely take him!!!

Great teacher! Has a dry sense of humor but honestly has enthusiasm for the subject. Exams are kinda tough, but mostly from class lecture. Doesn't take attendance but go to every class. Few chances for extra credit and is very willing to help if you have trouble.

This is the FIRST advisor I have had UNF that actually HELPS me! He actually helped me find a schedule that wouldnt be overbearing with my work schedule and ADVISED me on the schedule I had telling me what I had left to do and how difficult that schedule would be. So lucky I found him my last year here before I took an unnecesary over-grueling load

Leedy is the best academic adviser I've ever had. In addition to helping me every step of the way in my graduate school application process, he even helped me with course material in some of my psychology classes when I had extra questions. He genuinely has passion for his field and his students and seems to very authentically want you to succeed.

Um can he teach every psych class in the department? I don't really have any complaints about him and any criticisms would be nit-picking. He's a very clear lecturer and helpful teacher. SN: he let us pick to do a project in a group or individually (yay) . He's epic as a new prof, so I'm calling that he's gonna be legendary as an old prof.

He makes class really enjoyable. I didn't really need the class, so it was hard to get motivated to go until I realized how much fun he makes the class. He does give sporadic in-class assignments that are worth a good portion of your grade, but if you miss one or two you'll be okay. Class is overall pretty easy and simple if you pay attention.

You got to take Leedy, excellent in talking about psychology subjects with is powerpoint lectures and provides excellent examples through comedy. The only thing you have to do is to make sure to read your textbook before each lecture. Not everything in the powerpoint is gonna be like the test. Have fun!

One of the very best teachers at UNF. Makes class worth going to & puts a lot of thought into powerpoints. Show up to class to get 100% on in-class assignments. Take advantage of extra credit. There is no homework. Have fun! Do these things and you should be able to make whatever grade you want.

He is a great professor. He really makes class fun and enjoyable. Uses a lot of comedy to help you remember things. There are random in class assignments but you get a 100 just for being there, so don't skip! Test aren't too hard but they aren't easy definitely know your terms, do the practice exams and look over the study guide and you'll do great

Dr. Leedy is a terrific teacher. He's well versed in the subject, but makes it easy to learn by being entertaining, up to date, and provides oodles of examples of the concepts.

It's hard to hate the guy, but I really hate his class. Does not respond to emails or phone calls. No office hours because he is the psychology advisor. But he is always in his office. Walk-ins are the norm. Lectures are entertaining. But exams are very hard. There is a lot of extra credit opportunities. It's not the easiest gen ed. But he does NOT take attendance. And almost every assignment is optional. Including the final. So, take at your own risk.

so funny. i learned in the class, tests aren't to had. just show up and pay attention and you should be able to pass with ease. does in class assignments but all extremely easy so just show up, and i repeat again he's hilarious and makes his lectures fun and entertaining.

Leedy was by far the most amazing professor I've had at UNF. His lectures are hilarious and interesting and his tests are easy. He gives lots of opportunities for SUPER easy extra credit and in class assignments. He also gives study guides and practice tests for his exams so as long as you study those you'll make an easy A.

Leedy is my favorite professor/advisor! He cares about the wellbeing of his students, and never fails to crack the class up. Remember to go to office hours for grading/comprehension/other life issues, but for other course-related issues, talk to/text the teaching assistant (hope for Jon!) Take Leedy if you want to laugh and get an A in Psych 101.

Leedy is awesome. He gives hilarious lectures and his tests are cake. He also gives extra credit and is extremely approachable. He is easily distracted, but if you read the lectures/study guides before the test you will ace his class. TAKE HIM.

Awesome teacher in every aspect. Lectures are funny and Leedy makes things interesting and everything seems super simple coming from him. He's also an academic adviser and is pretty busy, so his TA's are the only one's you'll really talk to outside of class. He puts all his powerpoints online and gives plenty extra credit chances.

Aaron is very cool. He's not your average professor. He's one of us! He's very chill and laid back. He tells you his expecations first day of class. Very easy stuff, some fun classwork activies, SONA participation, 4 exams. Provides good study notes for exams. Drops the lowest test grade. Tests are all multiple choice. & He gives extra credit opp.

Leedy is absolutely my favorite professor at UNF so far. I'm a psych. major so his passion for his job is inspiring. But even for non-psych. majors, I promise you will enjoy any class with him. Leedy is an awesome professor. I think his tests are pretty average so if you study you'll do fine on them. You technically won't pass if you skip class because he randomizes whenever he gives in-class assignments so you have no idea when he will give them and they are a chunk of your grade. But he's cool and hot so why would you wanna miss class?

He's very cool and always making jokes, made the class fun and knew how to explain the material very well. I actually looked forward to his class. His tests are not hard all, all multiple choice and worded clearly.

I LOVE PROFESSOR LEEDY! I thought I would really hate psychology, but he makes it really fun. As long as you go to the lectures and take good notes, the tests are exactly like the notes. Hes really good at explaining the content, and hes hilarious and understanding. Take him, you won't regret it.

(Intro to Psychology) Keeps the class interested and interactive. You don't need to show up to pass but you want to go because a lot of his examples helps you relate the the information. There are 10 in class assignments that are random. Super understanding and gives out really good study reviews

He is an amazing teacher. Very knowledgeable and explains everything in a clear way. Always lets you know exactly how he will grade you and what to expect on tests. Lots of extra credit opportunities. I got a 99% in the class and put in minimal work. Going to class is key. He cares about his students and that shows in his teaching.

Great professor, very funny and keeps things as entertaining as possible in his lectures. Tests are majority of the grade but he adds participation grades randomly throughout the semester to help you out. Tests are pretty straightforward from the lectures. Attendance isn't mandatory but you'd miss out on some extra points.

Prof. Leedy has very funny and entertaining lectures, but they are a lot of information. Textbook is like $7 on amazon but I did well without it. You need to take notes to do well here, & attendance checks are random. Overall, a great class! He also is an advisor for the school so he'll give you advice

There is a textbook required, but I wouldn't say you really need it as his lectures go well in depth. The only "assignments" are 4 exams, all multiple choice and easy if you pay attention; Which is easy in his class. He actually cares about his students doing well and will do his best to help you. Super nice guy, definitely take him if you can!

I love psych and Leedy made this a class I could look forward to. Exams were super easy if you review once in a while and he provides study guides. There's required research participation and I'd check SONA at least once a week because if you wait until the last minute it's harder to get hours in at the end. 10/10 recommend :)

Professor Leedy is a really understanding and supportive professor. Although sometimes the class gets boring. But, if you are okay with long hours of dense information, it might be the best fit for you. The class is not as easy as it is perceived, you actually have to work hard to get a B+ or A.

Course is overall good. Gives many extra credit opportunities. Very humerus during his lectures yet sometimes tends to get off topic. Textbook is not needed for his class. Lots of notes and 5 exams with one being an optional final. Doesnt count attendance. All information is in the canvas modules. Not much work for this class

Great professor. I would have rated him a 5/5 if he kept politics out, but he and his sister eventually try indoctrinating the class with their woke gender ideologies near the end of the semester. I recommend watching clips of "What is a Woman" on YouTube and be prepared to ask them questions while they get defensive and fail to answer them.

Professor Leedy is an amazing professor. Also, there is in person assignments that are worth 10 points per each one, he does this to make a reason to attend class. He gives extra credit, which helps if you get lower than an c on exams. Exams are worth 100 points, so make sure to review your notes; they will be helpful!!

Very entertaining lectures would definitely recommend taking him for intro to psych. As long as you take good notes and study before the test you WILL pass for sure. He also gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit!

Cool professor, easy class. if you want an A do the following: 1. Attend extra credit talks 2. Go to Class, sometimes he will give in-class assignments, 10 pts each. 3. Do your SONAs early in the semester. 4. Exams are easy if you study the PowerPoint and look at the practice exams he posts.

Probably one of the easiest class I have ever taken. As long as you attend all the in class assignments that is automatically 100 points added to your grade. Make sure to do the SONA assignments right away!! Do the extra credit!! And make sure to notes and study for the exams. You will get an A+ easily if you follow all of these steps.

I wish this guy taught more classes! Lectures are so fun and interesting. He reminds me of crash course god Hank Green. Not sure why, but just they way he speaks keeps me engaged the entire class. Exams are easy if you go to class, and he has in-class assignments here and there to track attendance. Just make a quizlet for each exam and study that!

he is a very good professor, he makes it fun to learn ab psychology. but i will say i had trouble with this class just because there are like very small in class assignments that add up to many only 10 points and 4 big tests, and the tests are kind of hard. but other then that its fun to learn about it because of him but there is a lot of content

I am an Aaron Leedy stan! Study for the tests using his study guides and you will do fine. Plenty of opportunities to bring up your grade using SONA and extra credit. Gives away free test answers randomly so go to class. Very funny and super chill guy, who interacts with his lectures.

Yes, he can get off topic sometimes, but it's refreshing to have a prof like Leedy. He's hilarious and makes the lectures and class overall enjoyable. Attendance isn't mandatory, but be careful because of those in-class assignments. the tests aren't that bad and he does offer extra credit. Would recommend even if your major doesn't correlate.

He was a fairly good professor. He had a textbook, but we never used it. He provides study guides before each exam and if you go over them before the actual exam then you should be fine. Attendance is necessary because he has in-class assignments you are graded on. He requires you to do SONA, but you can opt out and write 10 papers instead.

He is the easiest class you'll take at UNF I believe. You do 2.5 hours worth of SONA which takes barely any effort, just surveys essentially. He gives 4 midterms and cumulative final, but you get to drop one. Also, he gives 30 points worth of extra credit. Sometimes he has an in class assignment so it's always a good idea to show up to class

Took Fall 2024. Passed class without textbook. Offers opportunities for extra credit. Amazing professor; really funny and welcomes in class discussions. Accessible outside of classroom. Has a TA for emails. Attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommend. Requires 2.5 hours of SONA credits (research participation, very easy).

Easy class and chill professor. Classes are just lectures, with an in class assignment often. The final is optional and with taking that he drops the lowest exam grade. The exams aren't too bad but can be kind of difficult to pass if you don't study. Offers extra credit and doesn't give any homework. Lectures are entertaining and funny.

Professor Leedy makes psych fun with his engaging lectures and great personality. The workload is manageable if you attend class, use the study guides, and try unstuck ai for extra prep.

Took in Fall 2024, overall great professor, very direct on what would be on exams, gave thorough examples. Only complaint was he would let students who asked unnecessary questions get him off topic for way too long. Exams were very easy tho and I would take him again, he just has to put his foot down sometimes when people ask unrelated questions

Professor Leedy is super nice, and helpful. All of his assignments really made you think about your future and how you can use your psychology degree. There is a weekly discussion post (comments extra credit) and as assignments, which takes less than an hour. The only "big" assignments are a career fair poster, a personal statement, and a resume.
