He's an excellent teacher! I've learned so much in his class, better than the last chemistry class. He has a clear understanding and passion for chemistry and the lectures are somewhat based on the book so if you don't understand something, you can just refer back to it. Going to class is basically useless. You have to teach yourself from the book because Massari does not know how to teach very well, maybe because he is new. He doesn't take suggestions and does no examples in class. I got a pretty decent grade but only because of hard work outside of class. I would definitely not take him again.

if you get the chance to take your classes with Aaron then you should. He's a passionate lecturer who always tries to engage with the class, explains things very clearly, and always has an engaging demonstration for the course work at hand. The course is hard no matter who you take it with but Aaron will do his best to help you succeed.

Aaron was hilarious and cares enough about the coursework that it makes you want to care. Practice problems are definitely helpful for quizzes, and so is going to lectures (or if you don't want to go watching them online). He's good with feedback and a fair grader.

There are not enough good things to say about Professor Massari. Genuinely the best professor I have ever had and an even better person. Although the class is challenging, he prepares you incredibly well for the exams and wants you to succeed. Always willing to help over email or outside of class, and truly cares about you as a student and person.

Aaron, my boy, was such an amazing professor. He was very helpful during office hours and painted material very clearly. Lectures mostly consisted of going over problems, and he cuts right to the gist of every lesson. Very clear what will be on the quizzes. Would totally take him again!

Aaron is great at explaining topics and was helpful when people would ask questions during class. The downside is there's loads of Aleks homework to complete that don't correlate with what will be on the quizzes. As for the final, I felt he did not properly prepare the class for what was going to be on it which would explain the 40% average.

One of my fav professors from my 4 semesters at the U. Great lectures with fun demonstrations, funny guy w/ good sense of humor, very kind and helpful when you ask him questions. Tests were tough, but do all your ALEKs, spend time studying the practice problems, REACH OUT with questions, and ez pass

Chemistry is overall a hard topic but Massari made it really fun. Does a bunch of little experiments in lectures. Super knowledgeable and caring. Easy to access outside of class, even sent me a Zoom link after I told him I was crying over my quiz. Super nice guy

Dr. Massari is the only chemistry professor I've had that I genuinely learned from. He explained subject matter clearly in multiple ways, so that any student who tried could understand the concepts. He was very understanding and did his best to help each student in the course succeed. I truly could not recommend Dr. Massari enough for this class.

Ok, compared to Pelton, Aaron is an amazing professor. Chemistry is hard and everyone struggles with it but atleast Aarons lectures are interesting - I actually laugh in them, bc he's seriously so funny. If you have to take any chem course and Aaron is an available professor, REGISTER.

Aaron is a really nice guy, by far the best chemistry professor I've had here at the U. The tests are hard because there are a lot of things that don't correlate to the lecture. A lot of homework and in-class worksheets allow you to keep your grade manageable. I would highly recommend Aaron, he's a cool and funny guy.

Aaron is a G, and is easily the most entertaining professor I have had here at the U. He makes you look forward to lecture and is pretty understanding of any issues you have outside of the course. Definitely stay ahead of the assigned work, review with friends, do the practice questions, the worksheets, and you will succeed in the course and exams.

Massari was a saving grace in an otherwise awful chem track; presented material clearly, hilarious, and was very personable. Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory since he posts class slides, but the daily worksheets that have to be submitted during the class period will be harder to complete if you don't go. Take him if you can!

Dr. Massari is a very good lecturer and very accommodating to students. My largest issue with this class was the format, with Dr. Pelton recording all the lectures and writing all the exams. Many exam questions are not ever addressed in the lecture content, and the lecture videos are brief and do not give you the information needed for exams.

He makes lectures very engaging and dumbs content down enough so that everyone can understand. He also will repeat concepts a few times to make sure students get it, and is super open and detailed when you ask him questions. He provides marked up slides in case you miss a lecture and is a very good professor in my opinion.

He is the most difficult professor I've ever come across, if you have a problem or you have a circumstance it's better to not even email him. I took this class at 8 AM with this teacher because of his reviews, just to very bad experience with him, take with that information what you will. The class is better without having to interact with him.

Massari is the light at the end of the tunnel. The chemistry department at the U is organized in the worst way possible, so unfortunately a big part of lecturing is taken up by those darn freaking worksheets, but when Massari gets a chance to lecture he is FUN and PATIENT and explains everything extremely well. Take him if you have the chance!
