I never was interested to look at rate my professor until I meet professor Shapiro. A college in campus highly recommend his class. I never had so much fun in a speech class like I had in professor Shapiro's class. Hi is a wise, fun, great energy and charisma. He is fair, and generous if you need his help. He's an amazing person and he's also funny. His lectures vary and he makes it fun. He does assign a lot of reading so get ready to read every week. He does leave a lot of homework sometimes but it's manageable and he doesn't do tests. If you're trying to get your speech credit, take him.

Best Professor I've had throughout my college experience at the InterAmerican Campus. Professor Shapiro creates an excellent learning environment, which is fun, witty, and challenging. Moreover, he's always willing to help you out if you need anything after class and does it in a way that's not stressful and teaches you something valuable.

He is a great teacher, very funny and very attentive.

Aaron will make you speak, he will make understand the world around, he will make you open your mind. You will have to work for your grade but you will not regret it. You will learn great things about the class but also great things from him. To me HE IS THE EPITOME OF SUCCESS.

Best speech professor ever! He gives great lectures and gives you a different perspective of the world around you. He makes the whole class interesting and fun. He does give a lot of easy homework AND NO TEXTBOOK PURCHASE NEEDED. He provides all the pdfs to the readings.

Shapiro is a great professor however do not think that you are going to slack off in this class. The grading is fair. you get what you get. There are a handful of assignments that if you fail to follow the instructions you could easily bomb, same way if you do what is told, you will be fine. Enjoy his class he is a great guy!

Professor Shapiro is the best professor I've had. His class is not hard at all! Show up, listen to his easy and funny lectures, do the assignments that he may give you ( they are not complicated and gives you enough time to do them.) He knows his material and will make you do a speech, but it really isn't that big of a deal. Take him.

Professor Shapiro made the class interesting with his games and talk. We had a lot of writing to do as homeworks, but he always gave us a second chance for a late essay or low grade. He is a really good professor.

Since SPC1017 is required for all students who attend MDC, I can say without a doubt Aaron Shapiro has to be one of the best professors out there. He teaches you a lot more than just speech. His classes & messages can be applied to real day to day life. An amazing professor who really wants to see his students grow and become better, not just "take & pass the class". Highly suggest taking him if you want to push your public speaking skills to it's test.

Professor Shapiro is good in communications, get ready to work but he gives time to do the work, do his assignment and you will pass the class.

Teaches in an interactive way that is still very informative, possibly even more so than traditional teaching styles. He is very innovative in the way he conducts his class which makes it extremely fun and interesting, so much so that you forget you are in class. I've had more fun in this class than going out sometimes and still learned so much.

I was initially dreading taking public speaking for obvious reasons, however, this became the class that I actually looked forward to coming to. Aaron Shapiro was a great teacher who was passionate about what he was teaching and quite a funny person as well. I feel that I actually gained real life skills as well as some confidence in myself.
