Ye, stay away from this cat. Not only was I and 7 other people out of a 20 person class forced to drop him, but we made SURE that his name was not on the program for the next class we took. You will not get higher then a C, guaranteed.

Awful!!! STAY AWAY!!! You miss one HW, youll get a personal not from him. Highest grade on tests are low 80s, class average must have been in the 40s. It is hard to sit through his class without walking up to him and hitting him with the corner of ur book

OH MY GOD.. I dont think I have eva been taught by some1 more boring or unclear than him. Dont take his class. He doesnt teach well + he expects u 2 explain every step of a problem. Soooo annoying.

He always tries to be funny by saying things like " I have a function like.. blah blah blah.. or should I write it down.." Also he always try to make things more complicated than what it is.

Truely a horrible professor.he has a horrible attitude towards students,treats them with disrespect, and talks very condecendingly, he does everything to prove that his class isnt an easy A. He puts emphasis on the smallest things and takes off a trememdous amout of points for spelling and grammar.

You can take his class IF AND ONLY IF you want to screw up your GPA or your life is too exiting and you need something boring. On his tests you MUST write his definitions word by word. Grading is horrible. He personally told me that it is normal if nobody in his class gets an A. Take anybody but him.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE professor, if you don't know math comming in, you still won't know it comming out. Very unclear, doesn't answer your question, takes points off your test for SPELLING errors, when you tell him you still don't understand, his answer is "maybe its just not your time to take and pass this class"

Take him if you want to be treated like a child. He gave me a C when i was in the top 5 of the class so.. :/

Doesnt help that its a new curiculum course...he babies you so i recommend taking him if you dont really know your stuff cuz he reminds you to put in negative signs lol but on the down side he took of 2 pts off my test for mispelling a word. oh yea and i was also in the top 5 of my class and got a C!!! >.<

very horrible professor....for the sake of your grade ..please don't take his class even though you don't have nothing to take ..believe me you will have to drop his class later on. how hard you try you won't get a grade you expected. his projects are so vague and no ideas how to start and finish. lots of hw.

Nothing that people write about this prof. could prepare you to his class. Your test answers MUST BE exactly word by word like his definitions. 80 or 75 was the highest grade in our class and his A=94.5. does not answer quest. tons of homework. no knowledge after. please do not take him, maybe Baruch finally hire someone usefull.

don't take his class, it is a nightmare!!! i dropped this class just now, he wasted my money and time!!!!!!!!!!! I am a math minor, and i got all above 95 in other math programs. :( but only 60 in this class!!! :(

Very incosiderate. In the other c++ class, you can score an easy A, but with him he will only make you suffer. Doesn't understand that it is not fair to give the whole class very bad grades, especially when the other is getting an easy A. Tries to act considerate, but if he really is, then the tests and grades would show it. Very low class average.

Do not take his class. His grading is unreasonably unfair and very subjective. No way to get a good grade even if you do your best.

Prof Todd is a big liar. he said he gonna drop the lowest grade of 3 exams, end up he didnt. and u can never learn anything from him. u have to memorize everything he wrote on the board for the exam. difficult projects, which u have no idea how to do it. useless textbook. he asks u to bring it to class everyday, but i have never open the book.

For the sake of your GPA, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. My class started with 32 students, by the end of the month, 3 students remained. No lies.

He's really not a good professor. Tries to teach but he's way too confusing. Many dropped the class and i believe no one got an A. Don't take if you want a good grade.

don't take him, he makes the simplest things look extreme hard making everyone confused. He doesn't let anyone ask questions from webwork and barely answers. Also takes half the time teaching new material during test days!! He gives extra hard version of the final, no calc. is allowed on 1st half and limits the time on each part of the test.

I ran the other way after a hilariously awkward first class where he babbled endless nonsense and confused the whole class (we only started with 15 people) on a simple derivative problem everyone already knew how to do. I suggest you do the same. :)

HE SUCKS!!!! If you ask a question, he'll go off rambling about something else, and ends up never answering the question. He keeps us after class just to tell us about what chapters to read which he could have clearly did during the beginning or last few minutes of class... JUST STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! You won't learn math from hiM! AT ALL!

He gives you ten minutes to finish a quiz of two problems and expects you to explain in sentences how you get the answer. I got a 6 out of 10 on the last quiz even though I got the right answer and did everything correctly. He held me for 15 minutes after class saying it was because I did not right in sentences. He is AWFUL.

If I could put zero I would put zero. Absolutely terrible as a professor. Always goes on a tangent. If you are looking for a good grade NOT the class for you. Want to learn in calc, NOT the class for you. Many students work their ass off in this class and still end up clinging to a c or a d. Tests are absurdly harder than questions he goes over and the questions in the textbook. I'm not even exaggerating. He seems like a nice guy because he is old but don't be deceived!

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER.Most of the kids in my class were in AP Calc, and they're getting C's or D's.The ONLY highest grade in our class is probably an 82. STAY AWAY FROM HIM.He expects you to write out everything on your test, what you did, the rules.He thinks this is an english class or something. He can't teach, and he confuses the whole class.

Like many say. Avoid this professor. If you have the option do not pick him at all. My class was unlucky and had him for our freshman block. He will damage your grade incredibly. Hard worker or not, this class will be a struggle. He sometimes even confuses himself with his own question. Worse professor of ALL time. He should not even be teaching.

worst teacher i have ever encountered in my entire LIFE. cannot explain anything to save his life, rambles on and on about stuff that is totally unrelated to the subject at hand, and is just very unhelpful. don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy, but he cannot teach. my advice: DROP OUT AS SOON AS YOU CAN OR HE WILL RUIN. what ever you do, do not take him simply because his methods of teaching are the worst of all.

The absolute worst possible professor you can have EVER. Deserve a 100 on a test? you get a 90... deserve a 90? you get an 80. the equation to calculate your test grade is (the grade you deserve)-10-5x, x=number of little mistakes.

I didn't understand anything he taught and it was my second time in the course. I got an A my third time, no thanks to him. AVOID.

he seems to be very easy and nice. However, he doesn't teach anything. If you study from the textbook, you will probably do fine. His webworks are extremely difficult and when you ask him to explain, his explanations never helped. however, he drops a lowest test grade, quiz, and webwork grades

Horrible Professor. Never explained anything and his problems were so difficult. He made math a nightmare. Stay away from this guy he may know his material but he doesnt realize he is teaching students who are learning. He goes through it like everyone knows it and absolutely atrocious. Stay clear and you should do fine.

Terrible professor, he is the worst professor that I have ever met. Does not explain anything when you ask questions and never tells students when there are webwork assignments. Everything that is on the test, he doesn't teach and he ignores students who ask questions during class lessons. If I could give him a negative rating, I would.

If you actually want to learn math and pass the final, do NOT take him. He has never helped me when I visited him during office hours and finds excuses to discontinue our meeting. When I ask him for help on the webwork, he told me look it up online. LOOK IT UP ONLINE? Are you kidding me! Worst professor NA.

Put it like this if you pass his class you can pass any class in baruch. hands down the worst math professor i and many others have ever had, avoid him.

Absolutely worst professor even that has no idea how to teach or more importantly, help a student that asks questions and are willing to learn. My class has its own study group that learns from watching Youtube videos and learn more from 1 video than we do in a month of class. Horrible professor that does not care whether students learn or not.

i have never felt so upset after taking a class before and i felt completely hopeless throughout this whole class. i seeked help outside of class and even watched online videos like how my classmates suggested but besides that, when i asked him questions he never helps and gives a lot of hard webwork questions all at one time rather than one weekly

Speaking honestly, he doesn't care about his students at all. He could care less whether his students fail or pass or even if they learn. He's just there to get paid, stand there and repeat what's in a book. He ignores student's questions and thinks he's a "fair teacher" when he takes points off for solving math questions a different way

horrible teacher. I just finished a whole semester with this professor and he didn't contribute to any of my progression in the course. I do not know ANYONE that passed because when we have webworks, he doesnt tell us and when we have quizzes, they are on foreign things that are different from the lessons. 0/10

i'm sorry to say, to put it simply, you are doomed if you take his class. I'm sorry.

I don't know how he grade test papers. Even you get everything correct, step by step, show all work, write out a reason, he will always take points off. No one understand how he grade the test, and he draw on our test paper, so it made us impossible to read. And he always make easy topic complicated. Most challenge class ever took.

I was thinking about dropping this class for sure because it was really hard. Professor took off points for not using the multiplication sign that he liked.. Avoid him completely. I got a B+ but I had a tutor and studied and prepared a lot for the final and tests.

he's not a bad person, but is a bad professor. His average is a C and doesn't curve tests. The highest grades on the tests were 78, 85 and 80- highest grades in the class. Don't take him if you don't want your GPA to drop.

At all costs AVOID this professor! Do not take him! If he is the only choice just wait until the next semester or get a tutor throughout the entire semester! He won't be of much assistance in Calc.

Worst of all time. Words alone cannot describe how bad he is. He cannot explain maths for his life. If you don't know how to teach yourself you'll be screwed.

VERY SLOW! He doesn't go over each question and if he does go over a question, it's one that you already know how to do. Spend the entire class on one problem because he goes on crazy rants that aren't math related. Would NOT recommend!!! TAKES OFF POINTS FOR EVERY LITTLE THING ON TESTS!

Firstly, DON'TTAKE THIS CLASS. He takes forever to get a point across. Instead of teaching, he confuses people. Plus he focuses on the most insignificant problems. Whatever you do, don't take this professor.

He is the worst teacher I have ever faced. Every other class, I am doing well but this class is awful. He is not a good professor as he doesn't explain things well, will not help you out on any problems you have and rambles on other topics. He takes of points for not writing down an explanation but there is not enough time during an exam.

Your grade is based on the 3 tests you take + the final. If you fail the final you fail the class. If you do not answer the questions exactly as he wants it he will take off point. If you ask a question, he will spend over 5 minutes answering and he won't stop explaining it even if you say that you understand,

Do not take this class, wait a semester to choose a better professor because this class will kill your gpa. Takes off so many points for no reason, spends 30 mins explaining one question in some weird obscure method, and rarely curves the grades. Stay away from him unless you are planning on teaching yourself everything and beyond in math.
