I am a good writer but I have to say that this professor made me even better. Three reason why I recommend her: a) She's normal and can answer hard questions and not make you seem stupid b)I can tell she likes what she does bcos she actually laughs unlike others and c) she will let you do rewrites and help along the way.

ENG 101 itself is a demanding class. There are so many requirements and essays to write but prof Aarti makes it easy and tryes to accommodate everyone. Her teaching style is great and I worked with her when I did not understand a few things. I recommend taking her bcoz I learned from the discussions and she helps you pass. Thank you prof.

This is one of LaGuardia's finest teachers, she knows what she is doing, very organized, understands what your weakness are. She takes time to explain everything I finished this class but I still ask her for tips and tricks in writing here and there and she always responds to your email. She is a GREAT teacher and lifelong mentor.

Last semester I took ENG 102 with her and I give her 10/10. Yeah..I never leave reviews but she deserves one. She is really good with answering questions and sending round up emails becos we met only once per week,that made me feel comfy with the work, um, her personality is great too, its hard not to like her and she's very bright. She speak the whole time & always digresses, therefore i'd recommend u to buy a voice recorder or use your smart phone to record her lecture. So when ur writing the paper, u can listen slowly. Show her that you're doing everything you can. talk to her, go to writing center, she will understand ur hard work & will give grade accordingly. BEST!

Good class and good teacher. From what I heard everyone in the class was happy and I was too. Frankly i'll register for her english and journalism classes again because she's a fair grader and really nice teacher. she gave me extension on deadlines because i work full-time.

AllI can say she is one of the best professors @LAGCC she's a fair grader gives you opportunity to review your papers It was a privilege being in her class and all I know is 12 years ago if she was my teacher, I would have graduated. In my experience at LAGCC not many writing and english professors are organized but she is and I can tell she likes her job. She's a little strict with homework but that' what you gotta do to get an A. I did and I am happy I had her as a teacher.

What an amazing Professor. Gets to know your strengths and works with you to amend what needs to be changed. Very patience. Gets you to participate. I took it during the 6 week semester and it was a wonderful experience. Writing is not easy but she makes it very interesting.

I waited a few semesters just to get into her class. Each time I checked online, her classes were always filled. She's really good and I had her as my writing professor 2 times. She's patient and approachable. I recommend her but good luck trying to get a seat in her class. I did great in her class and she gave me a strong recommendation for a job.

Professor M. Is great and is always there for her students. Do your work (not hard ), participate in class and don't be late or absent and she'll reward you with a good grade. The only issue i had was that she's very attractive.

Professor Maharaj is the BEST professor to take if you're a Journalism major like myself. She gives advice about the journalism world seeing as how she is one. Always responds to email/text, clear about what she wants on assignments and ready to help whenever needed. Classes are never boring when she teaches.

I am midway in Professor Maharaj class this semester and I wanted to share my experience. She teaches you everything you need to know about writing so you are able to do well on assignments. She coaches us each week on what we need to do. Her experience and work make her very professional and inspiring.

I took Professor Maharaj on Saturdays and it was just 3 hours and every other Saturday (which was super convenient for me). If you do take her, ensure that you start your essays early! She gave us 1 chance to rewrite and when she provides feedback, also ensure that you write your next essay with that in mind. She's great and would tutor you even!

I was completely ready to give up my Saturdays to attend her class since I had signed up for the spring semester last minute and well luckily she made it so that we only attended Saturday class once a month, and all the writing assignments were self-paced and detailed so as long as we handed stuff in we were good. She was the best!

Professor Maharaj taught me about asynchronous business communication. she was excellent. Maharaj creates videos that you can listen to if you are on the train. I could not watch one of her videos and she got me an audio file to travel with for work. I hope to take more courses with her she gets it, she really gets it.

I have been a Laguardia student for one year and this is the only professor I've had that told me about the Office of Accessibility. She called me to share more information and contact info for this office and it helped me stay in school and finish all classes.

She is tough on using AI to complete assignments and impressive she can tell if a student used AI. She is a great professor, and I would highly recommend her for BTM 106. her lectures were not that difficult to comprehend and felt easy to understand. Felt like an easy A because there were very few assignments to do, and I feel she makes you better prepared for the corporate world.

This Professor is wonderful. This is my first course with her and she's entertaining, enthusiastic and just good natured person with great energy. She helped us make connections between a topic like principles of marketing and the world around us. I never thought about our work in class in that way. That's skill and she has mastered it.

Prof Maharaj's class was great ! Most of the assignments were based on discussion boards in which she gave alot time to complete. I liked how she kept the class engaged and encouraged students to participate in class.

I took BTM 106 with this Professor. She explains course material clearly, so you'll definitely learn in her class. She comes with experience unlike most Professors. The only thing is she can come off a little strict and not super approachable at times. It wouldn't hurt if she smiled or was a bit more chill with students. She knows her stuff tho
