I have never done well in mathematic courses until I took his class. I have always received low grades in math and in his class I have an A. You have to study in his class, but his way of teaching is very clear, and up to the point.

I love this class. He is able to get down to "our" level very well. Every class he asks us if we have questions. He's always there for help. Tests are easy if you can do the study guides without cheating. I would recommend Mr. Elusta for College Algebra!

He's an amazing teacher. I suck at math obviously since I had to take Elem Alg, but he taught it so well that I now understand it. He has a great personality. All the tests come from the reviews so study them and you'll do fine. He doesnt check the hw but do it, it helps. He replaces your lowest test score with the avg of all ur tests.

Made learning college algebra very easy. I always thought math was my weak subject; however, Prof. Elusta proved me wrong. I did not have a math book and only relied on the notes he presented. Ending up getting 99 on test. Always gives reviews. Very helpful. Take him if you want to <b>learn</b> math.

math needs proffesors like him. He is very funny and actually seems to like teaching math. Everytime the class starts to lose interest, he would pause and start cracking jokes (usually on students). I will take him for evry math class. like his teaching style a lot. Gets right to the point, gives many examples until u get it. Gives reviews before the test. Really nice, he makes sure everyone understands. Homework isn't graded, but do it for practice. There are 4 tests and a final. Tests are easy because the review is exactly the same as the test and he goes over the review with you. I plan to take him in the future!

Prof. Abdalla is definitely one of the most amazing professors ever. I never really comprehended math up until now, sometimes he is annoying because he tries to get almost 3 sections done each class, homework is not graded, and tests are the same as the review

This class is difficult but he makes it as simple as possible. If you are not strong in math don't take this class as it requires a lot of work and time. Elusta will help you whenever he can just show him your really interested in learning and he will help you anytime. Class if for people who really have the time to spend on this subject.

Professor Ellusta is by far the best math teacher i've come across! before i took his mat0024 class, math was not my friend, but that all changed when i enrolled in his class.He teaches well & will not go on to the next lesson until he's sure that you understand. Since taking him for mat0024,i also took him for mat1033 & mac1105.(i passed all W/ B)

The sure way to pass this class is re-work all examples done in class and Do the online test/review as soon as he posts it. Just keep practicing the online test/review again and again as that's exactly what's coming on the exam....maybe just different numbers!

This guys is a great teacher. If you can take him do it, you wont regret it. I got an A+ in his class, i studied and reworked the examples in the notes. I ended up dropping his class. He's a great professor and is very funny, but makes his tests really hard. There are 6 tests and none can be dropped. He promises partial credit on tests, but doesn't really give it. He will teach nonstop until the last minute of class, so he gets boring after a while...and you'll NEVER EVER leave early lol

He does a review for every test. He gives you two attempts on computer test and three attemps on the HW. I think he is more than fair with the grade. You will learn all possibilities for answers because he explains all of them.So, you are in very good hands. I love this teacher. It is a shame for me he does not teach on summer.

Take Mr. Elusta. Assignment and quizzes are mandatory. He gave us chance to bring up our grade. Mid and final test only. His test exactly from the review (stimulus package)except different number.He provide bail out in the math lab.

He was really very good professor because he taught clearly. I took this professor last winter term. At end, I got B. He required students to attend and do online assignments. If you finish online assignment before test, he gives you an extra credit on test. Also, he jokes several things to comfort the class. You should take him for MAC1147.

Prof Elusta is an excellent choice for Stats. His methods of lecture and grading is successful for students. The class is once a week, and is structured of 4 online assignments thru MyMathLab, 4 quizzes in LRC, and 2 exams. Notes are allowed on all quizzes and exams, and extra credit is offered throughout course. Grade of "A" is possible! Funny guy

I took his online caluclus class an it was a breeze all assignements are there waiting for you finish and he answers emails very quickly. I took his six weeks summer class which was split between class and int instruction. Passed his class with a breeze. Read the syllabus. I didn't realize the test lab closed early the last day of the final and go there late. He was nice enough to let me make up the test and change my grade. However, I had to be very persistent about this.

I am very happy that I took this course online. There are 2 chances to take each quiz, and he gives you the review for the mid and final test which is exactly the same. He responds to any question in a short time and if you still have questions, north and central campus have tutors. I highly recommend you to take him.

Very funny guy, has a bit of an accent but its ok. 4 HW assign. 4 quizzes, 1 midterm (first half material) 1 final (second half material) I went to tutors for homework. Quizzes are veryyy similar to hw. and gives out reviews exactly like midterm and final! Easy class! I Recommend him.

He's a funny guy and really nice. I took him for stats and we had 4 hw's and quizzes. The midterm and final are in the test center which is nice because you get to go on your own time and study before hand. He also gives you a review online and a help sheet during the test. This was by far the easiest online class I have ever taken. I did my entire RN online so I really know. The software was easy to use. There are weekly assignments, & quizzes, & 4tests. If you study you will be fine, math is not my strong point, but I got an A. The prof is very caring & will even email to remind you about an impending assignment.

do not buy txt book as you won't need it. buy the calculator he recommends, its super cheap so its great. He gives worksheets which he uses to teach, then a quiz at the end. 4 quizzes, 4 hmwrks on mymathlab. final/midterm review which is vaerbatum to the exams, just different numbers and its taken on your own time at testing center. funny guy! :)

Prof. Elusta is a very nice person and one of the best. He only gives 4 quizzes and 4 homework assignments that are done on my math lab, a midterm and a final, never opened my book all semester. as long as you do the practice worksheets you will do fine attendance is mandatory. This class is an easy "A".

Pro.Elusta was great I took his class one time a week and most of his classwork and quizzes were online. He gives reviews for midterm and final and they are the same format as the actual test (that you take in the the etesting center). I got an A and I am very satisfied with my grade; take notes and show up ,it helps A LOT

I took Statistics in the classroom and Calculus with him online in the same semester. The classes both are not easy but if you study your reviews you will do quite well on the finals. He gives you multiple chances to answer your 4 quizzes and your homework assignments. I definitely recommend him.

Professor Elusta is great, he does have an accent but it doesn't get in the way. He is very funny, and the homework is online, you basically get a month to finish it. the midterm and final are in the testing center and he gives reviews for both.

If you take this class online make sure you study and review for the final and midterm and you will pass. Sometimes he is a little late with e-mails, other than that he is great.

He explains math in a way where it is easy to understand. I am not good in math at all, but he explained the material in a way where I could actually comprehend it and do pretty well. Stats is not an easy subject and I don't think I could have been as successful with a different teacher.

No text, uses online My Mathlab. I took his online course. Weekly homework, 3 tests (can take calculator and 1 cheat sheet to test) Tests are exactly like practice tests. No midterms or finals. 4 Quizzes online and 2 attempts each. This is stuff I learned in High School. I am not good at math, easy A!

Easiest math class I've ever taken! 3 tests at testing center and you can bring a cheat sheet. Tests are almost identical to the review, just copy the problems and bring them. I aced every test! The quizzes can be tricky but you have 2 tries. The homework can be tough sometimes but there are unlimited tries. Just watch the videos. Super easy

Even though he is difficult to understand, everything is done on mymathlab and hw is easy, quizes come directly from hw and you get multiple attempts and if you study the reviews for the midterm and final you should get an A on both. Highly Recommend

But, was good for me, I do well learning from online HW. His notes were great for midtermfinal. The tests were just like it (just different #s). About 30 ?s in notes, 25 on tests. Got an A

He is the best math teacher i could ever had in my education life. I loved the technique he taught us for calculus. I will recommend him over and over.

He's probably the best professor I have ever taken, he has really bad jokes that are so bad that make you laugh. His explanations are the best and his reviews awesome. If you have questions he will answer all of them without hesitation and in a detailed manner. I have never rated a professor before, but this professor deserves it!!

I am a person who hates math and received B in this class. You must do a lot of studying on your own but Professor Elusta does answer questions and actually teaches if you attend his classes. He allows you to bring one cheat sheet to exams. If you do the work, and study, and attend his math lectures, you will pass his class.

This man is perhaps the best professorteacher I have ever had. Four exams and one Final. Homework is optional. He explains EVERYTHING to you that you need for his exams and he gives a through exam review prior to every exam. If you fail his class, then you honestly deserve it. I have learning disabilities, and I aced his class, yet 50%+ failed.

He teaches by only doing the problems on his review sheets. Buying the book is not necessary. You're required to buy My Stat Lab to do the homework and quizzes (2 to 3 attempts max per quiz). Not a bad class as long as you pay attention (if you text in class or fall asleep, he gets mad). No curves or extra credit. Make an effort and you'll be okay.

I really enjoyed his class, I took him at 8 in the morning and he made math so easy that I was able to finish homework weeks in advance. He always had a positive attitude and liked to make jokes. Just write everything down that he writes on the board each day and you'll be good. I didn't need to buy a textbook.

Prof. Elusta is a really great math teacher compared to others! If you don't understand anything, he will help explain it easier and better. I had him at 8 am, but he always made class enjoyable to come. You have to write all notes, but you can also ask a friend to send you notes. The notes extremely helps with the homework and quizzes.

This Professor was AMAZING! All homework assignments are online. Take notes because they are exactly what the homework assignments asks. He allows a legal size paper for the midterm and final. Midterm and final are the same as the review just a different number. I wrote down all of the examples of each review and passed both exams.

This class was very helpful to me because math is my weakest subject and I was able to retake a quiz in mymathlab if I wasn't satisfied with my first score. I didn't feel rushed, because he gave us about 2 weeks for each assignment and there are only two tests; the midterm and final. Assignments, quizzes, midterm, and final are weighted equally.

Stats is a difficult class, regardless of the Prof. Prof Elusta has a way of explaining the material better than online/book. I purchased the text and didn't open it once. It's available to you online. The quizzes mirror the extra credit and the final is the same material as the last review packet. Highly recommend this prof! Go to every class!

Professor was very funny and he had a story to tell us at every class. Once you do the lab and online quizzes, you will pass. He allows you take one sheet of paper when you take the midterm and final. You can write anything you want on the paper, so use it wisely.

Abdalla is the absolute best math professor I have EVER had! Unfortunately he gets a lot of dumb students. I took him for Calculus w/ Analytic Geometry I and got an A, that was a hard class, but he prepares you for the exams. Stats was a joke compared to it. He gives you everything you need to get an A. I highly, highly advise taking his class.

Professor Elusta is overall a great respectable guy. I took STATS2023, which I personally think is pretty hard material. This instructor definitely knows how to teach it but it is up to you to keep up, want to learn, and ask the right questions. Instructor is VERY likable, hilarious, and overall great in class. Would highly recommend.

I took this professor for summer 3 (only 6 weeks of classes). Material was tought in class once a week. Assignment and quizzes were done online while midterm and final were proctored exams taken at the learning center. He allowed us to take 1 sheet of paper on the day of the test with anything we wanted written on it and also provided study guides.

Took him for Statistics over the Summer in a class that meets only 4 times and I passed ! He's a really good teacher I was about to get kicked out of broward if I didnt pass this math because I failed Algebra. So thankful I had him ! :)

Awesome teacher. Every straightforward and to the point if you don't do your work you wont pass whatever you get on mymathlab and the exams is your grade. Professor Elusta is a sweet man. He does make the class easy, as he lets you take a cheat sheet to the final and the midterm. Makes the exams way easier. Professor Abdulla proves that a professor can the determining factor in whether a student passes or fail. Stats is known to be difficult Abdulla keeps it simple, write down everything he says in class. Get over 80% in quiz and homework assignments and on your cheat sheet for the finals and midterm choose wisely what you write on that paper.

Excellent prof! Best math teacher i ever had he explains everything and goes into great detail. Just take all the notes and the assignments are in the order of the notes and the quizzes are in the order of the assignment. You also get a cheat sheet on the midterm and final which i managed to squeeze both reviews on both times. Must go to class!

No extra credit (don't ask him), he literally gives you opportunities to pass: 5 assignments/4 quizzes on MyMath Lab w/ 2-3 tries for high score. No book, must buy code. Mid & final are on campus, the reviews mirror the exams, allowed 1 cheat sheet. EASY A! He has mild accent & is comical.

let me start by saying... PROFESSOR ELUSTA IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took him for STAT1001 and register to take him again for MGF1106! I really wish I had him for STAT2023!!! Professor Elusta gives you a review sheet before every test. There is no reason for ANY student to fail the exam because the reviews mirror the test! TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY!

This class was blended so most of the work online you easily pass this class as long you do the quizzes and homework online cause the most of your grade. People had a problem with his accent but it was fine for me. I hate math and surprisingly I pass this class with a B so he a really good teacher

Although I absolutely hate math, I found the class easy! I prefer to study on my own, so I mostly learned from the book. But Prof Elusta also explains it well. Assignments are online - you have unlimited number of attempts. Quizzes are online - 2-3 attempts. Midterm and final at testing center, but if you study the practice test, you will do GREAT!

hes an amazing teacher knows how to break down the problems to where you can understand it. teaches off of worksheets he makes which i find to be better than powerpoints or from the book itself. took him for MAT1033 as well i wish he taught more math subjects.

Everything is straight forward in his class. Favoritisms doesnt exist. Just do your homework on Pearson and take the exams. Homework are unlimited attempts, exams are two attempts. He says attendance is require but its a lie. I just saw my overall grade and its- 20% homework , 20% exams, 20% final, 20% midterm. He gives you notes on everything.

hw& tests done in math lab. midterm & final done in testing center. very strict about attendance. if you miss more than %10 of classes he drops you a whole letter grade. dont be late or leave early, hell tally the times you do and count them for absences. very thorough teacher, teaches with the white board and makes sure everyone understands

I took a blended class and we met once a week for 2.5 hours. The lectures were great and he teaches you how to solve the problems step by step. Don't miss class or you'll be lost. Tests and homework have several tries so do them all and you'll be given the highest grades. The midterm and finals were HARD but we were allowed a cheat sheet.

Professor Elusta is a phenomenal math teacher. He takes challenging work and makes it a piece of cake. He goes through each problem step by step and is always willing to elaborate and give examples. TAKE HIM if you want to pass a math class. He is also available outside of class. I usually struggle with math but got an A+.

Amazing. I hate math and could not get through algebra. Elusta makes statistic fun and super easy to understand. Funny lecturer with great jokes. Gives you all the tools you will need to get an A but you have to put in the time and effort. Can be very confusing subject matter but he makes it easy to understand and complete. Buy or get a TI-84.

Even though it was a fully online course, I could tell through his communication he really wants you to succeed and helps you through all your questions. I needed help a few times and he was there ready to focus on helping us and answer my questions. I was never a fan of online classes, but his availability made it easier. Definitely recommend.

His class wasnt bad at all. We got unlimited tries for each assignment, racking up 100s, and every test had 2 tries with the same questions in each. Its mainly self taught, but one of the easiest math classes I've taken. His lectures are mainly for review as well so if you're not the type to self learn, he's not for you

His class is super straightforward: do the work and get a good grade. He gives multiple attempts on quizzes and infinite tries on the homework. It was impossible to not get a 100 on each assignment but the final and midterm weighed heavy. Overall, id recommend it to students who are able to work by themselves but to me, easy!

His blended course had LOTS of pre and post-class quizzes, HW, and Aleks learning activities, do them all, he drops the 2 lowest grades, he won't give extra credit because he opens everything up with enough time to do everything in time. Attend class and watch him solve the problems and ask questions, he'll give examples. weird sense of humor.

I am not a math person, but he actually made me enjoy what I was learning. I took the blended class online and loved the freedom. He does take attendance, but no participation necessary. I loved his sense of humor and personality. My husband even loved listening to him in the morning before he went off to work ! Highly rec.

Took him fully online, so I can't rate his teaching or personality. But, the class was structured well. Whenever I had issues, he was very helpful. Exams (6 unit tests and 1 cumulative final) are weighted 70% of your grade, and they're ALL proctored! So beware. Other than that, easy grader for discussions. Mathxl is used for homework assignments.

Professor Elusta cares very much for his students. Everything was clear on the syllabus. He is very helpful, and fares in his grading. He left open all the quizzes and you can try more than once to get a better grade. Professor Elusta responds to any question you have and also respond to all the email quickly.

Everything, I mean everything that you need to know is posted by him online, then he goes over it in class as he is always checking if there are any questions The 4 tests are from the homework. You get unlimited attempts to do the homework therefore impossible not to get 100%. The final exam covers everything. I wish that he taught more classes.

Professor Elusta was a wonderful professor! I havent passed a math class yet until I joined his class being that math is one of my weakest subjects. Please be prepared to do your work! I honestly feel that is the only way to pass in this class. The bare minimum wont cut it unfortunately. If you do your part you should pass with no problem!

All assignments are conducted through the online textbook you have to buy for I believe like $80 for the semester. Dont miss lectures. The course honestly doesnt feel like math other than algebra. Teacher is older and can tell is about to retire. Prepare to come to class lecture and go home. About 5-6 homework assignments and 1 test per month.

The class itself is very difficult, it is not the professors fault. He cares that his students do well, all tests were supposed to be proctored but he let us take a couple at home. He also replaced our lowest test grade with the Final. Overall, I would recommend him but be prepared that this class has a heavy workload.

He seems super easy. The class consists of super easy tests (so far), and hw that has unlimited attempts. Definitely take notes because you will struggle without them because even the tests are open note. Hes a nice guy that means well but his explanations can be kind of confusing sometimes which is also why notes are super important.

I really feel like I learned a lot in this class. Trust me, this professor is really thorough and he never gives excess information during lectures! He teaches everything you need to know and doesn't go off into tangents or theory too much. I really enjoy the types of problems that he assigns! I always felt prepared for each exam!! GREAT Prof!!

Homework is through Aleks, able to retake the questions you missed for better grade. Week consists of HW w/ 30-45 questions and Labs w/ 4 questions each. Easy class, just stay on top of it.

Tells and shows everything that is going to be on the test and on the homework. Make sure to take notes with pen and paper and listen and watch carefully. The professor is most likely 99% correct in scenarios and what is said during class. Clearly explains the material and makes it easy to receive an A. I did not do my homework nor practice.
