C'mooon just because the guy has an accent, doesn't mean he doesn't speak english. Matter of fact, he speaks 7 languages, waaay more that you'll ever learn. Very knowledgeable, uses different, yet very effective teaching techniques. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I failed Comp1 twice before taking this teacher. He helped me with my sentence structure, and I gained enough confidence to ace the exit exam. He's good for those who want to learn, but certainly doesn't like slakers--are often the complainers. Highly recommended.

I'd say it's pretty hard to make a C in this class. But it's pretty hard to make an A with him too. I give this teacher a B, man. He's not the monster people portray him to be. He's about in the middle. When he passed out papers, he even said most people got B's. The final is easy as hell, too.

very clear in his requirements and very helpful. If you want to improve your writing style, take him; you will discover the building blocks of the English Language; it's quite some sad to see a few lazy students that want to blame his accent for their own failure. Great teacher. He expects college students not high school students in his class. He grades on progress not average. I got 4 b's and 2 a's on his papers and recieved an A! He wants to see that youre trying not just sitting there. He tells funny stories and makes fun of the middle school type papers! Take him!

Mr. B is the nicest teacher. He's so easy, instead of making us write a paper we went for a walk in the park. He's such a nice guy and knows a lot about literature. I would take him again for another class, I know I either got an A or B!!

I enjoyed the class and the assignments were very fair. I got all A's on my papers, except for one that he let me revise. Highly recommended

Mr. B is a pretty good guy who loves to mention who has a fixation with Oprah Winfrey. Why? I do not know. He is, however, very fair and incredibly knowledgeable. You have to write about 4 or 5 short papers and one final big paper on a topic of your choice. This final paper is very important, but he grades it somewhat easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Prof B is sooo nice and he really loves what he is doing. He made me love literature more. He is not a tough grader but wants to see that you understood the stories you read. He ask very little by way of papers and assignments so I would reccomend that you keep up with it all. Prof B should really get Prof of the year. He is awesome!!!

I had taken him for ENC1101 and ENC1102, best professor I've ever had for any subject. You wont learn too much in his class, but he makes it fun. Half the time you will get out early and attendance is not mandatory, although he will say it is. His stories are funny and he's just a genuinely nice guy. Easy grader No Homework other than essays, A+

Having taken Mr. B for both of my english classes all I can say is he is awsome! Your entire grade is based on your research paper. I got a C on all my papers but a A+ on the final paper so I got an A for the class. No final which is an added bonus. Lets you turn in late work and really is concerned for his students. If you want to pass, take him!! Trust me! He'll always tell you what is due and whatnot, plus you barely get any homework if at all. If you have good grammar skills, you'll do well in his class. He doesn't teach much, and expects you to know how to write which is good if you already know how. Just show up, act like you care, and you'll get an A.

Prof B is the easiest teacher on campus. if you don't care about learning anything past the 8th grade writing level and want an easy 3 credits, this is the class for you. He almost never teaches, but always lectures on some random issue or another. The guy's a liberal but the class is a cinch. be warned: you will not learn ANYTHING in this class!

I took this professor for comp 2. He was really laid back and the class was pretty easy, except for the 2000 word research paper. But if you start that early it shouldn't be so difficult. Overall it was a good class.

Took him for Comp I and loved his class. Very laid back and easy its almost impossible to get a failing grade. He gives you chances to make up your papers and there is extra credit. The final is optional and there is no midterm.No need to purchase the book i dont remember using it once the whole semester.

Ridiculously easy class. Just do what he says and you'll pass. Tests are somewhat easy and he allows you to rewrite your papers. There's also extra credit and he's extremely helpful. Lectures are sometimes unclear. Let us out early every day. Redundant with his jokes and sometimes goes off topic with his stories. No homework just papers.

Took him for comp 2 very easy teacher compared to some of the english comp teachers. You have to write some essays that he does grade but will never give you a 'F' he'll make you rewrite or redo it. Attendance is a joke just dont go overboard in being absent. He's somewhat clear. few readings, poems,drawing of a poem,the final very easy 3 questions

If you dont love English, and just want to take simple easy class and earn an A or B this is who you should take. I turned in assignments weeks late and got A's. He always says dont worry about it I understand you're busy with work and other classes. You really only need to go to class on certain days, attendence is not a big deal.

This professor is AWESOME! I loved going to this class because of him. He's extremely funny, and has no problem helping you if you need it so don't be afraid to ask. He gives out the easiest extra credit to do if you need or just want to do it. He loves telling life stories that relate to the subject and gets off topic a bit but it's worth it!

This is the coolest professor I've ever had.. if you fail this class it's your own fault. He will help you anytime and his assignments are easy.. You have to do the work but if you do whats asked of you , you will get an "A" in his class no problem.

This guy is an amazing teacher. He's extremely laid back and chill. He grades fairly and is very helpful if you're confused. There's a grammar test and he gives you multiple tries at it with practice tests. There's about 3-4 essays and one final research paper which is only 1,000 words. He takes it step by step and helps you out along the way.

Professor B's class was extremely easy, I went to class maybe 6 times all year and I still passed with a 4.0. He takes his sweet time grading papers, I believe I went 10 weeks without any grades put into the system. If you have questions you HAVE to email him by his atlas email. He basically gives you an "A" if you turn everything in.

I never rate professors on this site but I am signing up for Fall classes and I happen to pass Boumarate. I had him for LIT 2120 and he was awesome. So understanding and helpful but not dumb. He gave me hope that there are still good professors out there. And you can tell he actually cares about you and your grade. Best professor at Valencia.

Prof. B. is by far one of the best professors at Valencia. His passion for both literature and his students is evident from the first class. He is helpful, tolerant,and available. He is there to teach in a style that is enjoyable and relative.

As long as you do the work you will get the grade you deserve. Had to do a lot of reading but what language class doesn't. Assignments take forever to be graded but we also got a week off to catch-up on missed work.

Do the work and you'll get an easy "A". I'm sad i cant fit his Holocaust class into my schedule, but I would definitely take this course again or even another one as long as he teaches it.

A lot of writing. Not sure if he reads the papers, or just gives you A's for just doing them. Never had corrections on my papers. Didn't do well in Comp 1, but Comp 2 with this professor was a breeze. Took him during the summer.

Took his hybrid Comp 2 class in fall. One of the best professors I've had at Valencia! He's very respectful and understanding. His lectures were always interesting. He takes a little to grade your assignments, but I wouldn't hold that against him. Just turn your papers in and you should be fine. He even gives a lot of extended deadlines.

He was a very good teacher, I took him for both ENC 1101 & 1102 and I do not regret that decision. I am definitely a better writer because of his help.

This was one of the easiest professors that I've taken. I enjoyed his laid back teaching style. I took the hybrid 8 week course so we wrote an essay every week for 5 weeks. Come to class and write the essay, you'll pass for sure.

I took this Professor for ENC 1102 I learned so many new and creative ways to write which is my main goal and area of focus. I highly recommend him as one of the fairest and best English Professors around. Thank you. I had a great time attending class!

This is one of m favorite professors I ever took. He is an honorable teacher that truly cares for his students. I would recommend him to anyone who wants an easy A, and to listen to the most interesting stories I ever heard. You won't regret taking him, but rather be inspired as a student. Sweet teacher. Talks a lot about his life, but sometimes its to give you examples/ideas for an essay. Respected by many students, cares A LOT about grammar. Tends to dismiss class early which is nice. Expect homework its an English Class so yes u have to write. Had like 7 essays totalnot too bad except for the Research Essay. Grammar test 100pts.

Very light workload. You will learn nothing, but it's an easy A. He said the book is required, but I never touched it. He's very nice, responds quickly to emails, and takes a while to grade. He is kind of a SJW, so write your papers from the perspective of an extreme leftist feel-good point of view, even if you know it's BS, and you'll be fine.

Took him fall of 2015. All he does is lectures a little bit about grammar, but mostly talks about the Holocaust and his trips. Give three easy essays (Descriptive, Narrative & Research). Midterm: grammar test (20 q's) take it twice and he puts in the highest grade. Final: in class essay

Took online 6-week course. Does not grade quickly, but answers emails quickly and will help if asked. Prefers you message him privately instead of publicly posting questions. I struggled a bit because writing is not my strong suit, but feedback was helpful and I think I made out okay. Will not take again because this was my last writing class.

One of the best Professors of Valencia. He cares about student and hard work. I learned a lot, very interesting material. So glad I took him and will take again. Thank you, Professor for a great job and God bless you.

Professor B was amazing! The classes were somewhat boring but in the end it was all worth it. Easy A.

Professor B. is AMAZING!! He is fair, kind, and cares about his students success. When I began to fall behind, he reached out to me. Most professors would have ignored that and let me fail, yet he did not . He scheduled a time and date for us to meet and discuss what I can do to succeed in his course. Doing so, boosted my confidence and I passed!

Professor B is great. He is very fair if you work hard you will get good grades if not he will see that and give you bad grades.

Great professor, he really cares about his students. Clear with his lectures, the class is easy.

He took a long time to grade assignments. There was like 4 or 5 essays throughout the course and the final is a timed writing assignment. Some weeks there was only a discussion. It was a pretty easy course overall.

ENC 1102 Professor did the usual Discussion every week with 2 replies based on short stories and poems, She had 3 Small Essays & Final based on the analyziation of poem or short stories provided to us in the Course also from the Discussions. One Final Essay which she helps build with Outline, Draft and Final Draft in the last weeks about Literacy.

Took ENC 1102 online, class had a few essay but he is really nice, I ended up with a 90%

Easy online course with weekly discussions and three essays, plus a research paper. Professor responds to emails right away and provides extra credit.

Professor is very accessible and emailed me back immediately throughout the semester. If you fail to submit something just let him know. He was very accommodating with me. Easy A!

Class was easy for a six week summer term and the professor was very understanding and provided grace period extensions and extra credit. Will be taking his Comp2 class in the fall.

Began the course with a B- on a couple of assignments, but followed the guidance and improved to earn 'A' in the end. Great professor who offers revisions and extra credit. Will take again.
