Good professor & always willing to help. Do all of the HW and study for his exams from both the book and his lectures. Show him that you are trying & participate during classes - it will can only help your grade.

You will like this class if you want to sit quietly and work out problems. Always raise you hand...he won't always call on you but it will save you a lecture. Big stickler on rules and gets moody a lot.

He makes you work and gives a ton of assignments and projects. Despite this, he is a generous grader, and gives a lot of extra credit. He was available every time I went to see him, but he was kinda rushing. If you master the worksheets he gives then the tests will be a breeze.

One of the good teachers here, cares about his students. He jokes around a little, but he does give a lot of homework but will let u turn it in late, if you speak with him. Overall, Highly Recommend!!

Good teacher. Allows you to turn in homework late. Showing that you are trying and your ability to learn will help your grade. Turn in all homework (even if it seems he doesnt grade it) and study for exams. Exams have many problems from works sheets so do those too.

You have to work in his class, but he rewards it. Definitely read the book and do the classroom activities, questions are pulled from examples and problems from the activities. Don't be afraid to ask him questions, he wants you to understand the material.

*Stats. Good teacher really knows his stuff. From what i've read the people are right. 5-7 L E N G T H Y excel projects. Online h/w and quizzes as well at class h/w & quizzes AND exams. LOTS of work but if you need/like stats hes great. If you don't work, you WILL fail.

Lectures are clear and helpful. There are practice quizzes that are very alike with the ones in class, very generous grading. A certain amount of missed classes are allowed. A rare case of a Professor that cares both about the students and the subjects. He asks you to do things that he taught you to do.

I am taking his class now. He is very helpful. I love his lectures. If you follow him, you will get an excellent grade.

Dr. Shuaibi is an excellent Calculus teacher. He's very straight to the point. He gives examples right away and works from that. He explains the theorems very well and proves them. His exams are tough but fair.

Like with any class, it's what you make out of it. All resources are given to you. Lectures incorporate theory and good examples. Tests and quizzes will be from notes, handouts, and homework. He is very clear. His grading style promotes learning. Recommended highly.

He is an amazing professor, I didn't take math from about 6 years, I started back with mr Shuaibi, I took calculus 1. He reviewed everything to us, then we passed by derivative, and graphs up to integral. The class was great, exams are not difficult, and I got an A. I really feel confident and I am planning to take calculus 2 now with him.

one of the best professor period, yes he is fast but he will start from scratch and level you up to where you need to be. I learned a lot from him during math 207 Calc 1 and I would take him for 208 if he taught it unfortunately he didn't. however I will take him for 209. Those who majoring in math or your work involved math you should take him.
