If yo9u don't get an A it's because you're a retard. He will dedicate the day prior to the test just for review and to answer questions. He drops the lowest test grade, and you can get a 100 on the homework cuz it's online and it gives you the answers.

He is the best math professor.. I took him both for mat1033 and mac1105 and I got an A on both. He gives extra credit for ppl who are doing not so good.

Listen. You really have to pay attention in this guys class. He might not have that good sense of humor, but he explains everything with great detail ONLY IF YOU LISTEN! The truth is he explains everything but rather quickly. Overall he is really cool and even though he can be kind of boring at first, at the end I figured he was alright.

Good teacher. The class itself is moderately difficult. Don't let the name fool you. He speaks very good english. He assigns homework everyday but doesnt grade them. He droped our lowest test grade and gave us an extra credit project (finding the circumference of the earth). I recommend him!

I cant believe this guy has a neutral! He is the best. There is alot of HW but how else are you going to learn math! The HW is a percentage of your grade which is awesome, and the tests are exactly what the HW is based on! I didnt like math at alllll before I took him, and I ended up getting an A.

I'm mathematically challenged and this guy actually made some sense out of the atrocity that is algebra. I'd recommend him to anyone who struggles with it.

I was taking this course online and was withdrawn because I missed one test. The test is proctered so you have to schedule an appointment at your local testing center. The whole point of me taking a VIRTUAL COURSE was because I work full time and cannot be in school physically! I'm not sure if all Virtual Math Courses are the same, but beware!!

Well the subject is not easy if you haven't taken precalc first. I don't recommend taking this class without taking Pre-calc first. His tests aren't horrible, just Long (20-25 Q) a bit challenging. Althought, you NEED to DO the HOMEWORK If you wanna pass the test! The Final Was pretty basic. He gives 3 extra credits projects. Long office hours.

Anybody who says this professor is not great, easy, and helpful... is CRAZY! I am a transient student from another university and he was amazing throughout the whole summer a semester! Great Professor.. I would highly reccomend.

I think he's a great teacher. I understand everything he says and ifyou don't understand he'll help you. Homework is done online which i find extremely helpful.

Saleh is a great professor who knows his material very well (he has an engineering background) and is a great person :] Don't be fooled by his name, he can speak English very well and is a great help if you put effort. Homework is online which is a little annoying at first but you get used to it. Tests can be tricky - study! No textbook use.

This teacher is awesome!!! i dont care what anyone says hes super easy and nice you dont need the textbook and the final replaces our worst test grade. all the hw is done online as well as some tests. ive taken him for my remedials and for this class and im taking him for mac 1105 @ FIU. This guy isn't a bad educator but he is so lazy and it is extremely difficult to get a decent grade on the exam because he only gives 20 questions or less on a test. Don't miss an exam because he'll do anything to avoid giving a makeup exam even if your absence is excused. He's easy to understand but I don't recommend him.

I took him for online class. it's pretty easy but you have to teach yourself. His notes are clear and all exams are just like review. Two proctored tests, homework every other day, and discussions for every unit. If you have questions, it is a forum or you can contact him and he will answer back not taking it so long.

Great teacher he takes the time to explain even the minor things that you are expected to know. If you do what you are required to do you will pass this class. I will be taking Mat 1033 with him in the Fall.

He really tries to explain everything step by step and if you have any questions he always stays after class if you have any questions. Good teacher. Study hard, and you'll pass his test. Online class is better than the campus course. It's an average course not very easy but not very hard either you just gotta do the hw and study before the exams you should pass with at least a C

Surprised at the comments before mine! I took MGF1107 and ended up with a C bc you only get graded on four tests, one research paper and all the HW counts as one test grade aswell. I bombed one test and didnt do the HW so I can't complain lol but he was very nice and explained the material well. Just study for the tests!!

This professor is great. He makes everything at the beginning of the term. The homework is online. The test are just like the reviews.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this professor. If I had to do it all over again with him I would. If you show up to class, take the exams, and do your homework you'll pass! That's usually the footwork needed to pass any class.

If u need his help hes there. took his class online and was fairly easy. videos on the online txtbook w steps and examples. hw shows step by step examples u can do it until u get 100%. 2 proctored and 2 'at home online' tests. optional final to get ur grade up. tests similar to the practice test. responds fast. pay attention and u get a good grade

I chose this professor by reading these same rates. He was way easier. All the homework is online,which btw is 10% of your grade. 4 tests, one final (optional) if you do the homework and take notes in class, the only thing that will hold you back is your own mental capacity. His lectures clear, shows the steps, answers questions, perfect professor.

He gives lots of extra credit assignments which is very helpful. it was a blended class and i preferred attending rather than skipping. He explains clearly and goes over the material fairly. I personally loved his class and would definitely take it again, he also gives test results fast and he gives practice tests that are super helpful

Great at partial credit, tests were directly from the homework. He is very knowledgable and answers every single question asked, aswel as providing review days prior to exams. Challenging but still understanding, not an easy A but you will learn calculus.

this is an honest review: from someone thats failed this class a bunch of times, if you want an easy grade for mat1033, just do all h.w online, pass tests online and study for the other two, and youll pass at least with a C, use math websites for online tests. easy test reviews can be tricky as the real test can show a different questionay

Amazing. Listen to me when I tell you he is your guy if you need to take MAC1105 on virtual college. Easy A. Reviews were almost exactly the same, he did multiple choice so even the answers were easy to pick. When doing this class you will need to do a mid term (if in another country you can pay to do it online) and final proctored.

Idk how I passed this class. His test are hard and he lectures heavy. The homework is pretty easy. 2 tests at home and 2 in class. If you have anything lower than a B you have to take the final. One paper.

However, he is very nice and helps the class with extra credit if he sees their grades aren't too good. Generous grader.

I am HORRIBLE at math but professor Saleh is one of the best math teachers at Miami Dade. Yes, homework for every lesson but the homework is online & he gives you a lot of time to get them done. Whenever you're confused or have a question he will go back and keep doing the problem until you understand it. He's nice, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Final optional

HANDS DOWN BEST TEACHER FOR ONLINE MATH. You WILL pass this class. He is not a tough teacher, gives you exact reviews of the exams and even does the work for the final exam review with written explanations he makes himself. What an amazing teacher, would take him again! Totally recommend don't hesitate to take his class.

This class is really easy if you take it with him. I took this class online and there was a lot of homework but he gives enough time to be able to do it. There are 4 test one for every unit, one midterm and one final exam. However, they are very easy to pass.

You get a good review before every test with everything that will be evaluated. 4 tests, final is not mandatory, if you have an A in class you do not have to take the final, if you don't it will get you a better grade. Professor Saleh is a pretty easygoing Professor, however, he could be a bit quick in explaining things. So if you're not that fast with math I suggest you think twice. This course is also super test heavy, so you need to study. However, he's caring and always looks out to help his students whenever in need, especially with our current pandemic.

The ConnectMath Online application that homework is done through is expensive and frustrating, but that's math for you. Honestly, never once spoke to the professor in any fashion. I don't think he did anything wrong and he definitely gives you all the study guides that you could possibly need to succeed, but you will have to teach yourself.

If you are not good at math, this is the professor you need to make it happen.

Above all, Professor Abdel is considerate of people's time and responsibilities. While the class in undoubtedly entrenched in hours of math study (as you would expect of any class), the Professor takes time to be kind on the human-level, considerate when assignments clash with personal emergencies, and compromising when it comes to test issues.

Hes great and clear. Its math so dont expect zero homework. The more you practice the better chance you have to get an A. Hes very fair,patient, explains everything in a clear way and answers all your questions. I recommend take his classes that happen twice a week, I did the mistake of taking it once a week only and it was more intense.

I like this professor a lot and the only reason I received a C is because I was not taking his class seriously. I missed two discussions and a few assignments in ALEKS, which is where you'll have to complete your homework assignments. His exams are easy to pass as they are the same as the study guide, the only difference is the numbers.

Prof Saleh was an amazing teacher, very laid back and thorough with his lectures. I had a tough last semester and he was very accommodating. Never annoyed if you ask questions. Replies fairly quickly. Lots of homework but you have time. I don't usually love math or my math teachers but Prof Saleh definitely is a professor I will remember.

This was an 8-week course so the work load was a lot! He's always ready to help, just send him a message. He gives a test for each unit (4 units), including a practice test which is identical.The midterm and final is worth 60% of your grade together and they're both proctored so be ready to study and work.

Prof, Saleh was amazing. He teaches the way a professor at a university would teach, very advanced. Participation is a must! Show him that you want to learn. The only drawback was that the class only lasted 45 minutes, so come prepared to ask any questions you might have. If he sees you as a good student he will bump your grade up at the end.

He wasn't a bad professor, I just slacked for the final half of the semester. Easy class, 4 tests and the final is optional.

Class wasn't hard at all. There is a lot of homework through ALEKS, if you manage your time wisely you can finish very quickly. He is very understanding, I had missed the first test, and when I emailed him about it, he quickly responded saying that I can makeup the test through the midterm. The practice exams are identical to the actual exams.

This professor is extremely easy. HW once a week but only takes about a few minutes and you have unlimited attempts until u get the grade u like. Goes over everything step by step and is very nice. Before midterm and final he gives a review of what will be on the test and goes over everything my final was literally the review. I recommend taking.

He's a good and understanding professor. The ONLY reason I got a C was bc I procrastinated and didn't remember due dates. If you miss a quiz, he considers your midterm/final grade as a replacement. He responds quickly. He has quiz/midterm/final reviews that have similar questions to the real tests. Assignments through ALEKS (reopened past due ones)

The class was not too difficult, and I believe that was because of Professor Saleh. He is very accessible outside of class and is very understanding. Offered extra credit, extended due dates when needed by a majority of students reopened most of the hw assignments at the end. There was quite a bit of hw but he gives you enough time to do it.

This math class has a heavy workload, but the professor provides great support. Study guides and practice exams make the proctored tests manageable. unstuck AI was a big help with prep.

Tests weigh a lot more than hw/quizzes. He may drop low hw/quiz grades if enough students ask. We could use a formula sheet on honor lock tests/quizzes. Practice tests were similar to tests. Whiteboard was preferred. You can pass! He answers questions if things are confusing! Overall kind and understandable professor!!!

Even though I'm aware that I don't like math, I feel this is the worst class I've taken during my time in college due to my grades. Despite my efforts, getting an A feels very difficult. On the other hand, the professor responds to emails quickly and has no problem extending assignment due dates if you ask.

Algebra is not easy, but he explains it pretty well. The homework he assigns are easy, and you have unlimited attempts; they also prepare you for the tests (every 2 weeks). Another thing is you can bring formula sheets on test day so that's great. Attendance is mandatory, he takes at the end of class, he is very flexible tho if you have to miss.
