Nice and supportive and helpful.
Respected by students
Very helpful professor who cares about his students. I would have dropped the course early on if he did not believe I could do it.
very helpful & flexible. understanding if you miss a test or assignment, just talk to him about it. always caring and nice. best prof ive had!
I took the intensive section. Professor Medjhoum goes the extra mile to take care of his students, but don't abuse his kindness. The intensive section requires 8-10 hours per week of practice and study OUTSIDE class hours. Its a HUGE jump from FREN1002 and a lot of material for one term. Study a lot or you won't succeed. SOUTIEN ÉCRIT is a must!
Abderahim is by far one the best professors I have ever had! I actually enjoyed going to and being in class. The class wasn't easy by all means, you definitely have to put in work and pay attention, and if you're not quite catching on, he's always happy to help. He is also extremely accommodating to changing dates if you ask ahead of time!
Abderahim was a great prof, I had him for both Fren1000 and Fren2100, there is a very clear difference of what is taught in both levels. the class requires effort to learn the language, he always available to help outside of class hours. He is a understanding and great at explaining concepts. he encourages you to work harder.
Had the opportunity to have professor Rahim for french 2100. Hands down one if not the best professor at Carleton. The course is a big jump from lower level 1100 but he ensures that you are aware of what is needed for you to be successful in the course. He is very helpful with giving great support in and outside the classroom, pushes you to earn it
Great course overall, definitely a big difference between the level of difficulty in 1100 and 2100, so make sure you put in time and effort and make use of resources (prof's office hours, soutien ecrit/oral, etc.). He gives specific guidelines, make sure you read the syllabus and do the work as described and you will do well!
I really enjoyed being in his class as he is one of the most caring teachers I have ever had. He is the type of teacher who truly tries to understand and work towards improving each and everyone of his students. I think for students coming from high school know that grammar is heavily stressed but he will work with anyone who struggles.
Professor Medjhoum is so caring about his students! This is a course requiring serious commitment, a lot of work.
Fun and encouraging, patient, personable, and caring. He really just loves his job, and is great at it too! I struggled for many years with French, this is the first class that i've really made real progress. To prepare: Print and organize all notes early Read chapters a week early, and you will learn Practice speaking in class Make calender
Professour Medjhoum takes that step where it changes from just being a job to work that he's passionate for. And you couldn't ask for a better quality in a professor. - M
There is not a prof more passionate or caring out there. It is obvious he really care about his students and want them to succeed.
Great prof. Cares for the success of his students. He's very patient and would help you catch up with your peers if you ever fall behind. He assigns lots of practice to help you learn the language. His lectures are interactive, detailed, and fun.
I enjoyed this class so much that I am trying to figure out how I can accommodate the second level. He made learning objectives fun, treats you like an adult but is also very sympathetic to those who make an effort in times of personal adversity and stress. He has s quite funny too so you won't be bored! Get into his class if you can, no regrets
It's a tough course, but as long as you keep up with the homework and show up to class, you'll be okay. The prof is awesome, super understanding, and committed to helping you do well. He's also super funny and hands out a lot of bonus marks and chocolate. 100% choose him as your french prof.
Amazing prof. He really cares about his students and makes classes interesting and easy to understand. I learned more in his class than I did in four years of high school french.
From the first day of class I knew no matter how difficult this class was or what was thrown at me I knew I had to stay and push through. No professor in university has had an impact on my education the way Abderahim has. He genuinely cares and he pushes you to do your best. This course is hard work but he makes you enjoy it and want to be there.
Easily the best professor Ive ever had in my 5 years at Carleton. Not only does he care for his students, but hes willing to put effort into helping students that put effort in his class. Its important that you go to class (which is easy because he makes learning fun), keep up with the material, use soutien ecrit/oral and go to his office hours!
Amazing Professor who really motivated me to work hard! Very caring and genuinely wanted me to succeed. Would love to be in his class in the future!
The professor was absolutely amazing in terms of ensuring each one of his students passed the course. He combined his teaching methods with outside French activities which I found very useful. As for work habits, you MUST stay on top of your work from Day 1 and utilize his office hours. This is not an easy course!
The most caring, funny, and understanding professor I have had so far in university. Syllabus and course outline well organized. Provides extra resources for any type of learner. Always willing to stay after class to help students with questions. Cares about his students and wants them to be successful in the course.
Excellent prof, was very understanding of any problems and was always accessible for help. Would choose him over any other French teachers in the department.
Great teacher! I changed my second year schedule just so that I could take FREN 2100 taught by him.
Great prof, he really cares about every single student and their success in not only the class but in general. The course is not easy and will be kind of hard to keep track of but his reviews are thorough and if you follow them exactly you will get perfect on the midterm and exam!
Professor Rahim is an excellent teacher, and does an outstanding job of delivering all elements of this course. His classes and assigned work are always interesting and a lot of fun. The classes are lively and engaging. Professor Rahim makes a great effort to deliver a very good course.
Best prof I have ever had. He's kind, caring and always makes him self available outside of class hours. Seriously just wants to see his students to well
Prof Medjhoum is honestly wasted on my low-level French course. Regardless, all information was presented in logically connected ways. Without a high skill of listening ability, I understood at all times what my goals and objectives were. I never found his work difficult, and talk to him, he's funny. And, he teaches you how to be a better student!
I really enjoyed this class this semester. I learned a lot and professor Abderahim Medjhoum made it easier for me to adapt my self in his class and pushed me everyday to do my best.
He was my favourite professor in all of univeristy! He really cares about all his students and works with you to ensure your success. Always motivating and supportive and is just an overall excellent professor. If you can take a class with him I highly recommend you do!
Very clean french, very clear course objectives, molds the course to the level of the class. Always available after class for aid.
Prof Abderahim was extremely nice and understanding with me. I had a lot of difficulties with the course yet he helped me a lot when it came to going over the concepts and really understanding the root of the French language.
He's a great instructor and sincerely cares about his students. If you start to see your grades fall or don't understand something, talk to him! He is super understanding about all the adversity us students endure during the year and will do as best he can to help his students succeed. Otherwise, not super heavy workload and an easy pass!
I have worked with AbdeRahim to pass a Public Service language testing. His detailed evaluation enables him to focus on specific areas that need improvement. He is very familiar with the test structure. He will involve other colleagues to get independent evaluation and devotes extra time to ensure students succeed
He made a slideshow at the end of the semester of all of our pictures AND brought a cake.. take him
Stayed longer than the office hours/created extra office hours to help out students. If you actually showed up when he offered to review your work and quizzes during his office hours you could get extra credit. He assigned several optional extra credit projects. If you do the assigned work, extra credit and make an effort, easily guaranteed A.
Really cares about all of his students performing well and works to build connections with all students. As learning a new language might make some feel uncomfortable, the professor attempts to make all students feel comfortable in practicing the language in a group setting. All around a great, caring prof.
Prof. AbdeRahim is really wonderful, caring, accessible, wants the best for his students and very clear on the course and expectations. The class was very interactive with many opportunities to speak in French like group presentations, cultural reports and reading from the excursion book. Gave helpful exercises. One of the best professors :)
Monsieur Medjhoum are one of the best that the French department at Carleton University could offer. Monsieur Medjhoum may seem intimidating at first but you will learn to love his corny but funny & upbeat attitude! He is not only genuinely caring but ensures that you learn properly If you are stressed, he will help you. Keep this in mind!
What a man! This guy will give you life lessons in French! Always so sweet and caring and eager to have students enjoy and participate, got us pizza and chocolate and was even stayed late on his birthday to keep teaching! His assigments really try to expose you to different aspects of French culture and the book is pretty helpful!
Professor Medjhoum is as much a mentor and friend as he is a professor. He is helpful, considerate, and one to bring snacks on many occasions. His instructions can be confusing, but he is quick to clarify if you ask. His approach is more roundabout than linear, you have to participate and do the homework to follow his teaching. A real one.
This was a great class what really improved my French. It is also not super stressful. I would definitely recommend this class for anyone looking to improve their French and also get a good grade.
Mr. Medjhoum was an absolute pleasure to have as a course instructor. He really cares about his students, and about their success in the classroom. His material is easy to understand, and he does a great job at explaining class content. I would recommend this course and this professor to future students who want to improve their French skills.
Prof. Medjhoum is a gem and definitely one of the best profs I have encountered at Carleton University. He respects and cares for all his students. His classes are fun and works hard to bring out the best out of each student. The class has lots of small tasks but not time consuming, plus he's an easy marker. I strongly recommend his class!!!
Really enjoyed this class.
I loved this professor, he is very good at is job and cares for each and everyone of his students. I love how he always greets us all, asks how we are, and he makes sure we understand before moving on to the next lesson. This is an intensive course so there is a lot to cover however, this teacher keeps a good pace and it also very helpful!
He's very understanding and respectful, and it is clear that he truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Definitely make sure you participate and communicate with him and other students because it does not go unnoticed.
Professor Medjhoum was really nice and caring, there was quite a bit of homework but it was an intensive course and it was manageable. Definitely recommend getting the books he provides as they have lots of aids. He also provides you with lots of resources online to help you succeed.
Absolutely loved this class. Professor Medjhoum made this course so manageable and he really cares about his students. He provides so many resources on culearn that help you keep up with the content and he gives us individual feedback on our work which really helps you to improve. 10/10 prof, would love to take a course with him again.
Truly an amazing professor. I would definitely recommend to take a class with him. He helps every students with any difficulties. The materials are interesting and informative. He treats everyone with respect. I have learned a lot in his class.
I have been in french immersion for 14 years (kindergarten to grade 12) and I did not learn much. This class is very intense but it teaches you french. It is a lot of work and participation is important. You do not have to go to class but I recommend it. He is such a good guy and very approachable and nice.
One of the most dedicated profs at Carleton. The class was not easy, but he made the learning environment friendly and welcoming. If you want to learn French, Professor Abderahim Medjhoum will make sure you do!1
Mr. Medjhoum is a very passionate teacher, he is very patient and more than willing to repeat anything if you need the course is a little difficult but it is an intensive course so that is to be expected. He has very clear rubrics and outlines so if you follow that you can't go wrong, participation is key considering this is a language class!
Professor Medjhoum invests above and beyond for his students. He puts his heart into his work and wants to see everyone succeed. He is always open to feedback and rewards students for their active participation. This is why his classes tend to fill up first online, I would highly recommend you take a class with him.
Great Professor. One of the nicest people.
Prof. Medjhoum is one of the best professors I've had at Carleton. He cares a lot about his students and is always available outside of class for extra help. As long as you really immerse yourself in French outside of class, participate and make an effort, you'll do well. Highly recommend taking this class with him!
This Prof is literally the best prof at Carleton! He really cares about his students and does all he can to give everyone an opportunity to succeed in the course.
100% recommend. If you are serious about learning a language this class is your best bet. He is very hands on and creates personalized relationships with each one of his students. Going into an intensive language class that is all online is daunting, however, he made it interesting and very rewarding.
Prof. Medjhoum was an amazing prof. I am totally terrified by the French language but he was supportive and compassionate through a very uncertain year/semester. I would highly recommend his class and would absolutely take another class with him.
Prof. Medjhoum was a great and caring prof. He was very supportive and helpful in helping me improve my French. Doing online school was made easier through his approach to class and I would definitely recommend taking a class with him.
Very good Professor tbh. He so compassionate about his work and cares about his students. If I do take French again, ill be on the lookout for his class
This prof is really amazing. It may seem hard at first since it is intensive but he really does his absolute best to be incredibly accommodating for all of his students. A great prof and even better person
I really think this Proffeseur has encouraged me to speak French and also not only that but to give kore effort in anything I do. He made the classes so interesting and flexible for all of us. What a great Proffeseur!
Prof. Medjhoum is a gem. I was intimidated to complete this class at first because it's advanced French, but the best advice he gave me was that it's okay to make mistakes as long as I try. He is very attentive to students' needs, and he's very open minded. Would take another French class with him if I needed more French credits!
Prof. Medjhoum is a gem!!! He's a great professor. Very caring and so kind. I was intimidated going into this class, but I came out with a lot of knowledge. He's a great teacher and he loves what he teaches which makes his class even more enjoyable. The best professor I've had in university, hands down.
Prof Medjhoum is honestly an angel, especially accommodating with everything being online and is very easy to talk to about life and how to succeed in this class. I know about 4 languages now, and this class has really helped me excel in my grammar and vocab skills. Participate in class its very beneficial, and he is always willing to help.
As someone returning to university after a decade of working, I was absolutely blessed to have this professor - he genuinely cares for his students. This is an intensive second language course and the prof does an excellent job pacing the workload. He also provides a wide array of study material and work exercises that are absolutely invaluable.
Amazing prof, would definitely take again. It was an intensive class, so there was alot of work. But, it was specified earlier and he does prep you well for them. He's really caring and understanding, and easy to approach. Really values feedback, opinions, and tries his best to please everyone. He made class one of the best French experiences ever.
Professor Abderahim Medjhoum is a very kind, caring, and understanding instructor. FREN1100 might have a number of quizzes and assignments, but he provides great feedback and is very engaging. He allows anyone to express their ideas and speak freely. Totally recommend him.
Such a nice professor & a good grader. Grades are fair and he is always available for feedback or to answer any questions. It can be intimidating learning a new language so be prepared to challenge yourself, but it is very worth it in the end! Assignments are workload heavy but not worth a lot of %, so it is okay if you make mistakes on them!
Probably one of the best profs that I've had. Instructions were very clear, and course material was concise. There was a substantial amount of work, but he was somewhat flexible with deadlines. Prof Medjhoum was very understanding and helpful, and I'm sure that anyone taking his class in the future will have a great experience.
Lovely professor, but be ready to engage and actually pay attention because he packs in a lot! Always ready to help, give feedback and crack jokes. Each lecture was engaging and interesting. I could definitely see the improvement in my french.
M. Medjhoum is sincerely one of the best professors I've had at Carleton! He is so kind and he genuinely cares about the well being of his students, and has a hard time giving people even a C. The intensive section takes 2 semesters worth of material and condenses it into 1, but do not fear! If you took French in high school you'll be fine :)
Professor Medjhoum is honestly one of the best profs I've had so far. He genuinely cares about each of his students, and he made our classroom a safe space for us to learn and make mistakes without judgement. As long as you attend class and have a positive attitude towards learning, I'm confident that you'll love the course!
Very good professor, as for the course itself I think it has some good assignments but it is difficult online. I'd say french courses at Carleton can be hit or miss based on your placement scores. I feel i was made to go into a level to high from the beginning and have been playing catchup and thus lack comprehension. Definitely try to start lower.
The professor conveys the material in a way that is easy to understand. He is very open to questions during class. Don't be afraid to talk to him after class he is very helpful.
This class is difficult but if you put in the work and the regular dedication to do the homework and participate in class, you will do well. The professor really encourages you to speak and participate in class even if you do not speak perfect french. He makes sure that it is okay to make mistakes and learn from them!
For the students who really want to learn French, Professor Medjhoum is an excellent teacher. He is dynamic, passionate about his job, and he always cares about the progress of each one of his students. I am thankful with him because his classes made my return to university soothe and exciting.
If you want to take a fun french class, this is it! There is a lot of content, but he really takes time to explain concepts and really encourages us to practice french. Overall it was a class I wanted to attend, we did fun activities, a group project, and online quizzes but all are relatively easy if you take the time to review the material.
I really enjoyed this class more than I thought I would! This was my first in person French class and I am so glad it was with Professor Medjhoum! He is a very caring professor and always is looking out for his students. He will go out of his way to ensure his class understands the material and gives you many opportunities to be try things again.
I was a bit skeptical about taking an intensive French course but it was not too difficult. Just do your required homework outside of class and you will be fine. The professor is very friendly and is ready to help you anytime. The assignments and the group projects are great too.
I enjoyed this class immensely, as it involved lots of group work and collaboration. This prof is genuinely the most caring and considerate prof I've ever had at Carleton. He's super understanding and only wants the best for his students! I would recommend taking his class to everyone!
Best Prof ever. He cares about all his student and does his best to ensure you understand what you are learning. He is very considerate and very understanding and only wants the best for his students. I took the intensive class which means there is a heavy course load but it is completely manageable.
Really good teacher, came with the expectation that he was going to be a tough teacher as other people told me, but he is really helpful and charismatic. Learned a lot from him as he would adapt his teaching style toward what would be better for the students, definitely recommend him. If you apply yourself you will learn from this class
He was a great professor! You can tell he really cares about his students success. I find he will adapt his teaching style to the level of French he thinks his class is at. All around great prof. If you want to learn French this is the guy!!
The best profs I've ever had! He goes out of his way to support students, keeps the class engaging with interactive lessons and group activities, and explains concepts well. I took the intensive class and while it was a heavy workload at times, it was also very manageable if I stayed on top of things. Great prof, 100% would recommend!
For students thinking about taking this class, but are a bit scared, that is completely ok. This is an extensive class but it is taught well. Participation is a big part of the class as it shows how well you are following each lesson. Students also get to do group activities during class and participate in grammar exercises the prof has prepared.
He is one of the most caring and dedicated professors I have had. However, be prepared to work hard for your grade as he is a hard marker. He will always your answer questions and provide guidance. One tip though is there is required "French Support" meetings to review your work in the assignments so make sure you book those early.
Good professor! A lot of practice in class and every lecture is different. Make sure you take notes and try to go to class as regularly as possible because there are many quizzes.
probably one of the best french teachers you will get, everything he grades you on is clear n if u have questions he's easy to talk to. participation and attendance does really matter, you may struggle with the course if you skip classes a lot. but this is a french class that isn't going to destroy your gpa if you put in the effort
Prof. Medjhoum is one of the most caring and passionate profs I've had. He wants you to succeed and is willing to help you get there even if you fall behind or get lost along the way. I really appreciate him and this class!
As a student, the prof taught me a lot of information. Within this three month intensive course I learned tons of new verb tenses and my ability to speak French increased drastically! the prof was extremely welcoming and understanding and was very efficient in his methods of teaching. Great class and prof!
Very passionate about his job, and tries to connect with students as much as possible as well which you don't see often in university. In terms of course content, all the quizzes and assignments are online, except for the oral presentation and two final exams (Oral and Written)
Lots of Lecture hours throughout the week. Is an ok prof and a tough grader. Tries to understand where the students are coming from but doesn't always see it. You will need outside help with assignments.
Prof. Medjhoum sincerely cares about his students and their well-being. He is always willing to help if you have any questions. Don't be scared to ask and make mistakes in class. Better there than on an assignment. This course is enjoyable but also a bit challenging if you're in the intensive section. You must put in the effort for good grades.
FABULOUS PROF! One of the nicest and most helpful profs in the department. he marks fairly so if you work hard and go and see him for guidance you will do fine! I would definitely take another class taught by him again!
As a student with a learning disability, I found Professor Medjhoum's slides and resources that he posted on my class' brightspace page extremely helpful, as I could always look back at the information I had missed in class. This and the fact that he's always willing to answer any of my questions in class or over email.
Definitely one of the best profs I've ever had. All the assignments and quizzes were perfectly linked to the theme of the class. You have to work to get a good mark, but if you put in the effort, you'll do fine. Just awesome!
Lectures are content heavy, but the professor is very helpful and has many resources available to look back to. Easily one of the top professors I've had at Carleton. There is a lot of information, but if you do the work you're supposed to, and listen to the lessons it's very doable.
One of the best professors I've had at my 5 years at Carleton. Very attentive, caring, and works with you based on your level of learning. Made the class a comfortable space to make mistakes and ask questions. Remarkable person all around. You will learn as long as you are willing to try, do the assignments, and ASK when unsure.
He is an amazing person but his classes are really boring. He fails to engage with the class and causes everyone to lose interest, by the half of the semester the class attendance fell to 30%. I can't explain to you the number of people that sleep in his classes.
Incredible prof and VERY French in the best way. Very knowledgeable and wants to make sure you understand. Very reasonable grader and very clear about what will be on tests and explains key concepts super-thoroughly in class. He makes his lectures engaging. If you should up to class and take notes, you will do great! Highly recommend!
Mr. Medjhoum is a wonderful professor. He was nothing but helpful and encouraging. He rewards hard work and is very easy going. His French is very easy to understand, and his passion for teaching is evident. Definitely take his class or any class he teaches if you have the opportunity. If you work hard you will definitely get an A.
I loved this professor, he will give you life lessons in French! I love how he always greets us all, asks how we are. He makes sure we understand before moving on to the next lesson. This is an intensive course so there is a lot to cover however. His assignments expose you to different aspects of French culture and the books are pretty helpful!
Such a sweetheart! He is very understanding and caring about his students. He did checkins every class, gave us updates. His notes are extremely useful. Many small tasks worth 2-5% each, it was very easy to get 90s on them and they are really good practice for exam. If you work hard and attended the class, A will be your grade.
He is the best prof ever . He is such a sweet heart . The way of Teaching is perfect . I would love to take this course again .
Honestly a really good Prof. but a better person. He will make you want to study and do work for the class. Because it was a language course, it was a little more challenging, but he was such a great Prof. that I liked going just to chat listen and chat with him.
First time mastering French sounds, tenses, and pronouns, all thanks to my remarkable Prof. Your expertise and empathy have transformed my learning, allowing me to speak French confidently, grasp questions, and respond with ease. Your teaching not only meets but anticipates student needs. A truly transformative experience.Thank you, Prof. Medjhoum.
Such a great professor! Would take the next level if he was teaching it. He cares about his students and learnt all our names. Prepare for life lessons because he cares about your well-being and success. He also bought us food, pizza and coffee at the end of the semester lol
Had a great time with this professor. He was very funny and welcoming!
He is a great language prof! he provides additional support through PPT slides and resources to help you with grammar and pronunciation. He wants students to master the pronunciation of words in French and he is a bit strict on this but helps you practice. If you need to request extensions for tests or presentations, he's very accommodating.
Abderahim is a great French teacher, not only will he show you short cuts in learning French that makes it more comprehensive but also give you some great life insights. His classes have a comfortable and safe feel, perfect for second language learners to make mistakes and grow! He is very personable!
Abderahim is a very caring and educational French professor. He not only works hard to help his students achieve success, but he gives sagacious advice to motivate his students! Every lecture was informative yet he was able to capture his students attention with a fun learning and extra help. Definitely recommend him to anyone taking French!
He's a nice guy, but not a good teacher. Lectures lack structure. They are also very boring. When you ask questions, you receive condescending responses. Also, he cannot understand English to the best degree so feedback on work is not very well either. His teaching style is difficult to understand. However, class content is pretty easy.
The professor is fantastic! His excellent command of French makes learning engaging and inspiring, and he always takes the time to explain in English when needed. Each lesson is thoughtfully structured with the use of manuals, which makes the material clear and easy to follow.
I've had 5 teachers over the past 5 years, but Prof Medjhoum is by far the best. What I appreciated most was how he managed challenges, from helping with language struggles to keeping us focused by limiting cellphone use. His teaching was engaging, and he created a space where learning felt enjoyable. Merci Prof! S.S
Professor Medjhoum is a kind and approachable instructor who makes learning enjoyable. His logical approach to grammar and practical tips made the class engaging. Attending his lectures was a pleasure, and with regular practice and completing assignments, success is guaranteed.
University life is full of challenges, but Prof. Medjhoum made it unforgettable. He impacted me and redefined what I value in a teacher. He listens, checks in, and understands his students, often recognizing our struggles without a word. More than a teacher, he is a mentor and an exceptional human being whose influence will stay with me.
I can't say enough about Prof. Medjhoum. He is more than just a teacher. I was struggling both at school and in life, and he went above and beyond to help me. He gave me wise advice that improved my French and had a lasting impact on my life. His teaching style is unique, and he's incredibly supportive and inspiring. Merci Prof! S :)
Professor Medjhoum is a caring and engaging French instructor. Classes are informative yet fun, and he provides great guidance and resources to support student success. I found unstuck study super helpful for study prep alongside the class materials.
Professor Medjhoum is truly exceptional. Not only is he highly skilled in his subject, but he also has the remarkable ability to remember each of our names, showing how much he cares. His humor and energy make every class enjoyable, and his visual, attentive approach fosters a positive learning environment. Truly a one-of-a-kind prof!
Initially I took this class for the credit, but left with life lessons that I'll never forget. Prof. Medjhoum genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for his students. He made class fun, engaging, and personal. When I was struggling, he supported me in a way I'll always remember. One of the best profs I've ever had, take his class if you can!
Professor is very passionate about teaching French and you can see it in the way he teaches and comes across. He makes sure you understand with videos and gives resources like online sites with practice questions. Also very accessible after class if you just send and email. Really enjoyed this class, made French fun to learn.
Such a pleasure to take Professor Medjhoum's class this year. He is both a great professor and a wonderful person. Very kind, caring and funny. French is tough, but he provides plenty of extra study material for our comprehension. He listens to and actively wants his students to succeed. If you want to learn French, make sure it's Medjhoum!
Professor AbdeRahim Medjhoum is one of the most caring and dedicated professors I've had. He's always available outside of class, explains concepts clearly, and truly cares about his students' success. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring professor.
It was great pleasure to take FREN 1002 with professor AbdeRahim Medijoum. He makes sure to clearly teach the important material that is needed to move onto the next level and his feedback always helps to point you in the write direction. As long as you put in work hard in both the lectures and on your own, you will accomplish a lot!

Good:He truly cares about the material and the students. Very forgiving and extremely engaging. Makes you comfortable to try out the language. Does his best with all students Bad:Occasionally the course syllabus did not line up with the schedule of our deliverables, sometimes confusion around some of the requirements for projects and for speaking.
