For a student that was never good @math i have to say this Professor was my angel!!. He has so much patience and will do whatever it takes to make sure you learn. He is amazing! I had him my freshman year in 09 for College Algebra. All I can say is the man really wants to make sure his students understand the lessons and equations take him if you have been out of school for a while or hate math in general. The only major concern is his accent, but just pay attention and you will be fine.

After attempting the College Algebra Clep for previous course work, I was required to register for a College Algebra course. Prof Mazzouri established a learning enviornment that allowed me to fully understand all concepts of the subject material in a five week summer semester. He is an amazing asset to the college.

Professor Mazzouri is an expert in his field. I was skeptical about taking College Algebra during the summer semester as I assumed it would be overwhelming. However professor Mazzouri went above and beyond the role of just a teacher and made sure each student properly understood and retained the material before moving on. He is A+ in my book!

He is very easy, but it is not college level work, but his class is an easy A. Homework weighs alot and I always do homework, so this is very easy for me and I am always there, so this should be an easy grade.

This professor was probably the best I've had. I usually struggle with math but I really got the concepts this semester because he took his time on each lesson and made sure we all understood before moving on. The best part is he's funny so class is at least enjoyable and he'll do everything to make sure you do good. Take his classes!

his teaching method is very helpful. He like wasn't all student to stay in the same level so no one is confused. If you take his class you wont regret his a really good professor. Even if your not good in math you'll he'll help you!!!

TWO THUMBS UP!!! I am absolutely horrible in Math and Prof Mazzouri actually got me to understand the material. He is super nice and really wants his students to pass. He does a thorough review before all tests and he lets you use your notes too. Do the homeworks and show up to class you will def get an "A".

If you have no concept of math, take Professor Mazzouri. He breaks it down so that it is understand for any learning level. He is even more than willing to stay after class to make sure you are able to apply it. Overall, we NEED more professors like Mazzouri at HCCC.

Amazing professor . If math is not your favorite subject, like myself, he will make it a lot easier to understand. He is very helpful and his homework is a breeze. A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I took this class for Winter Inter. I was extremely nervous on the concentrated and challenging course since it was for 2 weeks/MAT100. However, the prof made it so easy. He makes sure you understand the lesson, and he goes over any& all of your questions and he has SIMILAR reviews for exam/tests.IT WAS WORTH IT bc of this prof!

Algebra is my weakest subject and taking Mazzouri was a great choice. I highly suggest his class. He explains everything thoroughly and knows his stuff. Its a bit of a bore, but it is math, what do you expect?! There aren't many tests which is good. You don't need the book either, however you need the lab portion (rip off). All in all, take him!

It was an absolute pleasure. Professor was precise, accurate and fair with grading. He was also very patient and allowed time for explaining math problems. More teachers need to emulate his style of teaching.

This is a required subject for all, some of us do not understand math as well as others. If this is your situation, I recommend this professor. This professor is such a nice and caring man. He has a bit of a french accent but you can understand what he says. He will go back and go step by step with what he is teaching. By far one of the best math teachers at HCCC. Totally without a doubt would recommend 100%.

Wish I had this guy in high school! Best math instructor I've ever had. Explains coursework step by step at whatever speed is necessary. He will go back and review whatever you need him to. He will issue online tests, if the class wants. Open note tests are also a possibility (ask!). You DO NOT need the textbook! Prof does an excellent job without.

he truly is The Best Professor in New Jersey

I took this prof for Sunmer 2 which is about a 4-6 week course and math was never my strongest. But this professor helped me get through it along with everyone else who showed up to class He made it clear that if we never missed more than 3 days, he would pass us regardless of our scores lol He is one of the best profs I've had and is so easy!

The material is difficult but he teaches in a way that offers many review opportunities. If given the option to do homework from the textbook website I would advise to vote no, the textbook publisher/website is difficult to do and I would prefer a more traditional homework method of the instructor issuing problems to solve and review of this.

Hes an amazing man!!!, show that you are trying & always show up to class and have respect for him and you will make it through. You do use the online textbook.

Took Winter Algebra with Mazzouri. Math is not my strong suit but he makes it fun and easy. I am feeling MATH CONFIDENT! He is patient, caring, and always available to help you understand the material. What matters to him is that you show up and put effort. I recommend this professor. He is very patient and understands when the class has a hard time with the material. If class has really bad grades during exams he will give a retake exam a lot easier! Lot of homework but not his fault it's that annoying webassign.
