He answers questions if asked, but the answers use shortcuts and may lack clarity. The homework he gives is a bit more than necessary. However, you'll be prepared for the next class.

if u suck at math hes ur go to guy, he made me an A math studnet and i was a D math student. Very helpful and understanding. Lots of hw but allows u to skim if u grasp the concept. He's really fast when he lectures and it is somewhat hard to keep up with him, but he's more than willing to answer ANY and ALL questions that you have to make sure that everyone understands. Which is why he lectures for half the class and leaves the other half of class for classwork and questions.

Hate math but LOVE his class. I actually look foward to attending class Mon-Thurs, I feel sad that I have his class during the summer so it's only six weeks. Finally get an awesome teacher that I can pass their class and it's for a very short quarter. Take his class he is a very nice man and is willing to teach you 1 on 1 if you don't understand.

Ghori rocks!! He could probably teach a blind man algebra...he's THAT good. In fact, after taking 112 with him, I skipped 114 and went straight to Trig. Take him!!

Great teacher! Really knows his stuff. He goes fast but he will only lecture for 1 hour and will let you do classwork. He is always available to show how to solve the problems. He encourages students to work together. Will show you easy and effective ways to solve problems. He also takes time to review before a test and allows 1 page of notes.

WOW. i dont even know how to explain how awesome this prof is. he is lenient, CLEAR, repeats himself if u need him to, goes at the pace of the class, EASY, only tests on material covered, LETS U OUT EARLY, ALLOWS 1PG NOTES ON EXAMS, and even HELPS u on ur exam if ur nice.and DOESNT COLLECT HW, basically the perfect professor. EASY A.

Great teacher!! He is extremely helpful and genuinly wants you to do well and understand the material. Never raises his voice or gets annoyed with students, he is very kind and patient. Reviews everything before the test, doesn't grade your homework till the end of class, so it's okay if you miss an assignment or two and make it up later.A MUST TAK

I look him for both 210 and 112 because I liked him so much! He goes a bit fast, but as long as you pay attention (stay focused), you'll be fine. If you get confused, he will help you. He'll even meet with you outside of class to help you if needed. Great instructor!

He is an nteresting grader. He'll give you points for the amount of work you show on the 3 tests, so even if you get the wrong answers, you can still pass. He goes VERY FAST and expects you to teach yourself by doing the homework. BUT, he WILL have great reviews before the test with similiar questions, so you know exactly what you're going to get.

Prof Ghori is an excellent prof - not only does he care performance in his class but he cares about where you're going in your life. His pace is kind of quick, but he has no problem stopping to answer questions, & gives a TON of opps for reviews before exams. This man knows his math, and he cares very much for his students. He is fast paced and if you are not a math wiz it can be overwhelming. He does get a little sarcastic when you ask questions, but deep down I think he wants to help. Overall he is nice but learning in his class might be tough

Mr. Ghori was my math teacher at Hyde Middle School! He always threatened us with "deficiencies" (though he almost never gave them out). From my experience with him as a kid, he's easy to get along with and YES he does care for his students :]

Mr. Ghori is a fast paced teacher, but he ALWAYS answers questions. Actually, I'm a 7th grader at Hyde Middle School, and he teaches there. He does give a TRUCKLOAD of classwork (which does get boring after a while), but he answers EVERYONES questions. Most people don't like him, but he is actually a good teacher... :)

Why are his 7th graders rating him? Give me a break. Took 210 and 212 with him and passed both with an A and Math is not my best subject. Had a positive experience in both classes and have recommended him to others.

Phd in math. Do I need to say more? If 212 is a stepping stone for your academic career, then this is the professor you need! His lectures are informative, and gets right to the point. He's pretty fast when finishing one problem and starting another, but shouldn't be a problem if you ask him to slow down.

Great & unintentionally funny teacher! He lets class out an hour early every class. Tests are not that difficult if you study. Don't slack off and you'll be completely fine.

I do not enjoy math at all, if you feel the same way take this class! He goes over material really fast, but he gives you the test before it's taken so it is really easy to study for. There are only ten problems on each test and each problem is worth 10 points; you can pass the test even if you got most of the answers wrong! Funny guy too!

If Math is not your thing or you haven't been in a math class in 20 years, Ghori is your man! He doesn't cover everything, just what you need to know. He will teach you about 20 problems over 3 weeks and repeat them again and again, then test you. You can bring a cheat sheet with notes and sample questions.Let him see you trying and you get min. B

He doesn't you the chalkboard to lecture he writes the problems in a paper and use the projector. ..Please..Please ask him to explain the problem and give more example if you do not understand. He will explain it. do not be shy. He lets you out early. Gives homework but doesn't collect it.

After having a math mental block and fear of math, Dr. Ghori has a great ability to explain the concepts and it has allowed me to have a better understanding. Dr. Ghori has become one of my favorite teachers. He makes an effort to make sure that we understand and I feel that he wants us to succeed! Highly recommend!

Ghori was a great professor and such a kind individual. He helped me a lot throughout the course, and I could not have passed this class without his guidance. Math was not as difficult as I had expected, and he made the class easier and manageable.

I took Ghori for 210, 211, and 114 hand down the best math professor for students who struggle with math. If you have perfect attendance you will receive full credit for the 20% HW part of the class. He tends to let class out somewhat early so that all students that have additional questions or need extra help can have one on one time with him.

Dr Ghori is an excellent teacher. He wants you to pass the class & gives you all the tools you need in order to do so. It's a quarter system so the class goes by very quickly. I only missed one class & wouldn't recommend missing if you can help it. He encourages you to ask questions & is always available after class.

I'm terrible at math but had a great experience in his class. He gives you the rest of class (after an hour ) to finish your work or take off. 1 page back to front of notes for tests, reviews everything with you before them as well. Great nice guy. Dont be shy and ask for help and raise your hand when you need it! Homework is manageable and helps

BEST MATH TEACHER EVER!!!! easy grade just show up and write down all of the lecture easy quizzes and final was super easy he is great at explaining. the first half of the class is for his lecture and the second half is for you to do the homework in class.

I loved taking professor Ghori. He is extremely kind and great at explaining how to do the problems. He really wants you to get an A in his class and he will go above and beyond to ensure that you do. You are allowed to have a cheat sheet for all tests and he didn't collect any of our homework.

Professor Ghori was a great teacher, he is funny and cares about his students. Tests were easy, textbook is not necessary but a lot of practice (you don't have to turn homework in.) I truly miss this instuctor for Math. I had him for 210 and he is just amazing. DeAnza should be everyone a favor and make him available for Math 212 & 114. Several of their other instructors just aren't up to the (math) task--he is.

My whole life Ive had trouble with Math Ive even failed 2 math classes at De Anza so when I tell you he is an AMAZING teacher i really mean it. He makes sure everyone in the class understands the material before really moving on. You dont come across to many professors who genuinely care about their students and he definitely deserves credit!

I would highly recommend this professor to anyone, especially those who struggle with math (like me). He's patient, caring, and extremely helpful. Your grade consists of two midterms and a cumulative final exam.

He is such a nice professor, took him for 210, 212, & 114. He doesn't collect homework. Grade is based on three tests (final is by far the easiest). He does move quickly through the lessons but will slow down when asked. He is more than willing to help anyone.

Dr. Ghori I probably one of the most honest, positive Professor's I have ever met. His grading criteria is very clear, and he does a part of the hmwk in class and gives great test review. If you have Math Anxiety! This is your professor for you. Step by Step Lectures making you understand the mathematical process. Exams you are allowed calculator and 11 x 8 paper with notes and formulas. He cares for the students success! Ask question ( no question is stupid) and he will explain in a different way for the understating of the student

I highly recommend this online math. I was not doing well and I got a call and text messages to make sure, I was ok! The professor and his TA are very caring about your success on the class. I was capable to recover and pass the class with an A. Do the homework and you will get full points. Extra Credit. Exams are not hard. I happy didn' give up

I hate math so much! I don't know if I would have passed this class if it was not for the professor and his TA's caring and attention. I had so many problems in this horrible 2020 that I lost all motivation. They contacted me by call, texted, and email. They allowed me to turn in my missing work, giving me the chance to pass the class with a "B."

Professor Ghori is amazing. he teaches the material thoroughly and makes sure everyone understands before moving on (don't be afraid to ask questions; he will gladly answer them). Ive taken him for stats and calc and hes amazing. All of his classes are very thorough if you have questions he answers them and is never annoyed. He genuinely wants his students to learn and succeed if you are able to take his class hes a great professor that will support you and explain things 10x if you need him to!!

His online classes may not have been great but his in person ones are. I do feel really bad for the people that took his class online, i wish they had gotten to experience his class in person. Hes a great professor and just wants his students to be able to understand and succeed.

I took Dr. Ghori's Statistics class as a dual-enrolled high school student. It's a slow paced class with very thorough lectures. There are 2 midterms and 1 final, and the questions are exactly what you'd expect from class and homework. Class was assigned for 2 hours, but usually finished in 60-90 minutes. Completely in person, no online. Recommend!

Honestly if you are not confident in Math, take this professor. He's amazing and caring in explaining concepts in simple guided steps. Had statistics with him, if you attend class and do your homework, this course is guaranteed A.

Dr.Ghori is passionate about MATH and takes extra steps to help struggling students. His lectures are in person and are very easy to understand, attend his lectures (don't read the textbook). He gives out helpful Test review prep before every test/exam, if you do these practice tests, this course is a guaranteed A.

The class is in person and the professor does not use Canvas. His lectures are very easy to understand, and he gives concise summaries with detailed steps on how to tackle the questions. Very patient and doesn't mind going over again if you are confused. There are at least 3 practice tests before every test/ exam. Do them and you will Ace.

MATH10. Spectacular prof. Make sure ur algebra skills r up to date. Textbook is FREE on libgen, and u barely use it. Take notes and pay attention in class. Ask questions, he cares ab all his students, and will explain concepts until u understand without being patronizing or belittling. Amazingly chill guy. Take him, and u won't regret it.

He explains EVERYTHING perfectly and in a lot of depth, his tests are the exact problem types as the Test reviews he gives beforehand. He provides 2 of them before every test. You just need know how to solve those problems. Noot even apply them. And you will get 100%!
