Worst teacher I ever had. Never returns homework, uses an entire red marker on every test. Has no teacher-student relationships. Takes being a department chair more importantly than his students doing well. Tells his students that they won't pass.
Horrible teacher. Plain and simple; horrible. if you get the questions right on the test you still get points off. I think he is one of those teachers that doesnt want people to do good.
He is the best teacher for stats and econmics!!! he wants to make sure you understand but if you act like an ass he'll treat you like an ass as you should be treated. He is willing to help ALL students but you must make an initiative to go to him
called my entire class RETARDED numerous times. not willing to help students with difficulties but very eager to deduct as many points as possible from exams, even when answers given are correct. awful, awful man.

taking a test is supposed to be to measure what you learn, it is not supposed to be a way to trick your students, this is exactly what he likes to do...once said "I will tweak the questions a bit so that you will get them wrong"

The wrong answers are wrong, oh yeah and so are the right ones. No matter what you do you'll fail. Everyday my class got smaller and smaller as people got smarter and dropped it! Stay away from this class!

I'm not one to judge professors harshly, but Abdul Sraiheen is not a good teacher at all, he called my class stupid numerous times, told us that he would change the test and make it harder so we would not pass. That is not good teaching.

Difficult to understand and follow.
Last semester I went to him for help even though he was not my professor. Despite the fact that I was not taking nor had I ever taken any of his classes he helped me. He was very clear, and I understood what my professor failed to teach!
Avoid Sraiheen and Jenson like the plauge if you have to take Stat.

Great guy knows his stuff as long as you show up and do your homework you will pass. Its not asking a student to much to show up to class. i agree the class is hard but is passable if you show up and ask for help and do your homework.
Even if you have the right answers and at least some of the work done, you still don't get credit like he says he's gonna give you
i had to drop him cuz he was so hard. Most of the class dropped him cuz his tests are so hard. He's unclear with that accent and just isnt a very good prof. Avoid
I took him, against all of my friends suggestions not to, and DAMN is he hard, I busted my ass and I am still failing. I don't slack off either. Seriously, don't take him if you don't have to. He is amazingly hard. You will fail.
Very hard teacher but he WILL help you with any questions that you have. Go to his office! I had to work my ass off but I got a B. So just show up and take notes. Study really hard!
A nice guy but his test are very hard because of how he words them. He is also helpful. You have to work your ass off in his class to keep a C
This is the best prof to take for Econometrics. If you read the book and do a few end of the chapter homeworks, you should get at least a B in this class. Also make use of his office hours He is extremely helpful. He will explain the subject in the language you understand.

He is awesome, very helpful!! Tests are hard, but he grades on a curve and if you tell him what grade you want, he will help you to achieve it. I would reccomend him to everyone. O!! and attend class, he gives extra credit for showing up!
one word comes to mind...EASY. Exams...Easy, especially the final. He seems to be a very straitforward grader...always giving the student the benefit of the doubt. It doesnt seem that hes as interested in the work, just as long as you get the right answer. Take him....its a slam dunk A.
Great teacher..elementary tests. Ridiculously hilarious. Very interested in the higher pleasures of statistics. I give this teacher an A++.

his goal is to have the least amount of people in his class at the end of the semester by making people withdrawl from it. His test suck and if u miss any classes he gives u a bull**** exam with stuff he has never went over to try to get u to withdrawl
He explains things in only ONE way, does not deviate from this when you ask him questions. Always says "any questions?" and moves on before you have a chance to think. His tests are ridiculously hard. You need to study A LOT for his tests and it is still only good for a C. Not recommended.
I used to think he was alright, but throuhgout the semester he just kept getting worse and worse. He started ****ing about attendance and laziness in the third or fourth week and it just got worse. By the end of the sesmester he was just downright hostile to the class. I think anyone that resentful of his students should not be teaching.
if you enjoy being demorilized this is the place for you!!!! he is a used car salesman in a teachers salary. imagine you got paid for the amount of people who want to quit school altogether after being in your class. i went to the business head after being lied to about extra credit. the dean's response was, not much you can do. isn't school great.
Worst teacher of Economics. his class was hard to even attend. he doesn't make sense at all. his tests were on material not covered in class. attendence is taken and you must go to all classes or you get another test that is 100X harder. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!! WORST MISTAKE OF YOUR COLLEGE CAREER!!!!
He's a good guy...stats is just hard. suck it up. do what u r supposed to and come to class and you should be okay.
Business info systems has to be one of the most simple subjects to learn. This man makes it IMPOSSIBLE. It should be basic computer skills and I have heard nothing but huffing and puffing from my other classmates and other students in his class. He doesnt answer questions and points the finger at the students when the average in the class is a 55.
STAY AWAY even if it's your only choice, don't take him. he constantly insulted our class. he never stops talking, makes the subject impossible to understand, and his tests are things he didn't even cover. My class started out with 30 people, and it ended with about 7, and I'm not sure if all 7 passed.
bus stats is hard. but you don't want to take it more than once, so you just have to get over his attitude and suck it up.
Had him for stats. He is by far the worst teacher I've ever had. He is a rude jerk and can't even solve his own problems correctly, if you can pry practice problems from him, only about 70% of them have the right answer.
Don't take him for Stats. He admitted than on at least two of our exams (out of 4), 2 people got C's, a few D's, and the rest got an F. This was out of a class of 50 or so. Stats is a difficult concept, but his tests are much more complex than what he teaches in class. I walked away with a D which is barely passing int he college of business.

He is honestly a good prof. You have to constantly be doing practice problems outside of the class. If you study prior coming to class, everything he says will make sense. It's a very tough course, but you have to do the work to earn the grade. He does want to see you do well. He is a good guy & if you want to actually learn the material, take him.
I don't kno where all of these negative comments come from. If you go to class and show that you're trying he is so willing to work with you. He won't just hand out As and you have to do work. If you don't want to do anything don't take him, but if you actually want to learn the subject he's the best.
he is a really nice guy and if you put in effort and meet with him he will not let you fail. if you get a bad grade on a test and see him after he flat out tells you if you do better next test he will drop it. stats is hard but as long as you show him you care about your grade and come to class you will pass with at least a C very caring guy.
This guy is haaaaard! Nice teacher, class in interesting mainly because he doesn't talk about anything that has to do with the class or our tests, so when exams come everyone is like wooow where did this stuff come from. You'll have to do a lot of work and a lot of kissing up to get a good grade with him.

Prof. Sraiheen is a good teacher he wants everyone to do well, and it upsets him when people don't get the material. Read the book, do the extra work, and if needed get tutored and you will get at least a C. If you are lazy and are looking for just an easy grade, find another instructor.
overall bad teacher, total ass and is hard, please avoid and take somewhere else or with esposito, this guy sucks and will destroy your grade. For the love of god avoid him. the entire class talks behind his back as well as everyone on this site because he causes stress and fustration. its not the class its how he handles things, do avoid !!!

His class is hard, and he expects you to know everything there is to know about stats. He also has a habit of talking behind students and other professors backs to the whole class which makes him come off as a jerk. Bottom line the class is passible and the most effective way to a minor in Econ but it will be a pain the whole semester.
The class was tough but if you went to class consistently, the material was not impossible to learn. He does offer help to people that request/need it. Overall, I would recommend this teacher.(if you go to class!)
i had Sraiheen for micro economics and he was a fantastic teacher, Econ is a hard subject but he will give you all the help you need, he actually cares about students and wants them to pass, Very nice, Very intellegent, Very helpful, A Bit hard to understand as he is from Jordan and has an Accent but he gives extra credit to help students
he is a very fair guy and really teaches the material well. some may say that he is a hard professor but it's just the topic that is hard. good guy!
Had him for Micro. This class was difficult. Class average was usually poor. I'm convinced that there was a substantial curve based on what I know my grade was going into the final. I think though that he's a nice guy who does care about his students learning. If I took another class with him in the future I would expect to have a busy semester.
The people giving him a bad review are just the typical lazy college students. He was one of my favorite professors I have had at Kutztown. He explains the material well and challenges you with the tests. He is a fair teacher and expects you to work hard to learn it. It is a shame that he has such a low rating on he considering how genuine he is.

Explains the material very well, HUGE curve on tests. Just attend class, utilize his D2L outlines, take the online quizzes (which are open note) and you're guaranteed atleast an easy B. Also, he will not hesitate to help you if you reach out to him. You just have to put forth the effort if you want a good grade.
I am a student who goes to every class and pays attention. This class is hard. After each test the professor would lecture us rudely because only a few people passed. He says that he specifically picks questions that we would miss. He is fair with grading but his tests are horrible. Too much information for each test. I wouldn't recommend him.
He is very knowledgeable and will take the time to help you if you need it. Though 90% of the time I honestly couldn't understand what he was saying and if you and your class do bad on tests he will lecture you and make you feel like an idiot for not scoring a 100%. Plus he told us he's changing his grading system so he's gonna be even worse.
This was a tough class that I prob would've gotten an A if I actually used the textbook. Attendance is mandatory even in lecture. GO TO CLASS it helps your grade. DO ALL HW. if you do these, he will see you are trying and help out your grade. Go to him for help, he's very nice. STUDY & MAKE NOTE CARDS
Eh he isn't the best professor, but if you show up to every class and pay attention and complete the online quizzes, you will do just fine. He also gives you summaries of the chapters which help a lot for the tests. His accent is a little hard to understand, but overall I liked him. One thing though, he touches his junk a lot in class

THIS CLASS IS VERY HARD!! He needs to curve everyone's grades so much to make sure he doesn't get fired. He makes you feel stupid and shows you class grades after every test. He just reads powerpoints the entire class. Tests are very hard.
If you are able to take a different I would recommend you do so. His tests are extremely hard, as well as his online quizzes. He gives a curve on your overall grade if you attend class because if not everyone would fail. I went to every class and paid attention and honestly didn't learn anything. He called the College of Business, "Kindergardens".
I took this for a Micro class, before I took Macro which is unusual since Macro usually comes before Micro, but even though I didn't take Macro first I was still able to keep up with this class because the professor went at a good pace. He graded attended when I took him. Tests are either you know the material or you don't -- all multiple choice.
If you can take another professor you should definitely do it. His class is pretty hard but he grades on a huge curve. In my class a 70 is a B. He hates people who skip class and tries pretty hard to make sure those people pay for not going to class. So if you skip class, your best bet is to take another professor.
He is a smart man and knows his stuff. Make sure you attend his class because he will give a completely different un-passable test to those who don't show up. He curves your grade as long as you show up. Textbook was on D2L but says he's changing that due to low test scores. If you ask him for help he's more than willing to.
Awful. Seemed like a reasonable guy, got crazier as the semester went on. If you skip class, you will be asked to drop it. He emails you notes from class personally IF you go to class. Never posts to D2L. Randomly does online quizzes at crazy hours. Spends half of lecture ranting about "caring" about students.
Awesome guy! If you're majoring in economics he is one that you will want to stay in touch with! Not too hard of a class, tests can be cumbersome. Participation and Attendance are an absolute must! Pay attention and you'll get an easy A like me!
Hands down the WORST professor I've ever had and should come with a warning label. He posts online quizzes on D2L at random times of the day without warning. Go to his tutors because they're way better at explaining the material. If it weren't for his tutors, there is no way I would've gotten an A-.
This professor knows his subject very well. If you attend class and do what is required of you, you will pass. He gives points for attendance. He does assign homework. He will assist you if you ask for help. The textbook is required as well as access to MyEconLab. I barely used my textbook and still got an A in this class.
I really hate this class. He is such a terrible teacher. He gloats about himself the whole class and just quite frankly just pisses me off. He will try to convince the class that he is a millionaire and would forget about economics. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
He is a very strict prof. Do not use your phone in class or he will probably fail you. Material is very hard, even if you try your best you probably will never pass his test.
The material is not difficult but he does not present it well. Jumps back and forth between powerpoint slides and doing his own thing on the chalkboard. His accent and grammar mistakes make him hard to understand at times. Online quizzes help to boost grade and he cares a lot about attendance. Don't use your cell phone or he will call you out.
Prof Sraiheen is not an easy teacher. I don't think he's good at explaining the course material. Overall, the information in the course made no sense to me. He gets an attitude if you don't show up to class. He does give online homework which could help improve your grade a little.
AVOID! He NEVER gets back to any emails, and on the slight chance he does, it's too late, which he could care less. He is awful at teaching the material. I took him for Microeconomics and would have to go back over the material he just taught and teach myself it. So far, he is the only B- I have gotten in college.
He's a tough grader, like REALLY tough. I took ECO 12 with a different professor before I took this class and still didn't understand anything. His homeworks are hard no matter how much you read the textbook / online powerpoints. His tests are 50 questions and only an hour long so i'm rushing the whole thing. Avoid this dude at all costs.
Was very good at explaining the material & was always open for you to come to his office hours. The tests were very tough but he lets you do some extra for some of the tests. He allows 3 skipped classes but after that u lose 30 points. 10 quizzes throughout the semester and final was NOT cumulative. Doesn't allow phones being used or even touched.

He does not care about you, your grade or your understanding of his material. when the whole class failed the test he assured us that his tests will only get harder. "You have no idea how hard your final will be. Thats a fact." Exams are extremely hard.

Post powerpoints on D2L but dosen't use them in class so there is really no use for them. He questions and blames the class when grades are bad on test. By far the worst professor I've ever had! He is rude and does not have an ounce of kindness in his body. His goal is to fail his students and frequently threatens to take points off of your final grade if you don't purchase the textbook. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!
The worst professor I have encountered at this university so far. Unless you devote blood, sweat, and tears to this mans course it is highly unlikely you will pass. Just don't take him. Class average on most tests was between a 35-60. You read that right, 35. Takes PRIDE in how hard his course is and threatened to fail multiple students.
He does not care about his online sections, it is sink or swim. If you try to ask what the answers are to the practice questions he posts in his PPT's, he will not tell you and instead tell you to go to khan academy (so he doesn't have to teach u it). He just posts quizzes and tests and doesn't care to help with any questions students have.
He's ok at explaining material, but he jumps around a lot. His tests are definitely hard too. I got an A, but I had to study A LOT. Does curve grades if everyone does really bad. Not personable. He said he regrets not ruining the academic careers of certain past students. Don't use your phone. Buy the book. Work hard. Take someone else if possible
this man was high key buns. I got a C in his class for microeconomics, but that was probably because I was one of the 8 people he actually kind of liked in his lifetime. Mans is gonna merk you if you don't get on his good side somehow, or study like this one class is the determining factor on whether or not your family will disown you. 2/10.
This was definitely the hardest class I took this semester, and I really had to work to get the A, but overall he was very knowledgeable. I personally found his tests much harder than the things we went over in class though.
One of the worst professors I've had at KU. He doesn't teach the material effectively and grades the homework like we're full time economists. If you want someone to read over the powerpoints for 3 hours a week with no explanation, this is the guy to take. Also he's pretty rude when you try to reach out for help and won't make much effort.
One of the hardest professors I've ever had. We are still in a pandemic and virtual learning isn't easy for everyone. Doesn't consider the time and effort students put into doing his assignments. I nearly failed all of the homework assignments despite the fact that I gave lengthy answers and spent hours on them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Terrible teacher. I am in an all online class with this teacher and he has done the least when it comes to announcements and helping students. He gives no respect to his students even though we have had no interaction with him. Kutztown needs to take a look at these professors as a majority of them are here for the pay and not the students.
This was not an easy class, probably one of the hardest I have had in my three years at college. You have to work for your grade and study the material in order to get a decent grade. I genuinely enjoyed his teaching style and have taken him twice. I do not recommend if you are not committed to the subject
