Ms. Abeer, is the greatest Biology teacher. Her spirit is one of compassion and her desire's to see everyone succeed. Her warm and considerate attitude and her persission of thought in teaching makes you want to learn. thought I wouldn't graduate. She is a GREAT teacher! if you can take one of her classes DO IT! She is really nice, super easy to talk to and help you as much as possible. She is in the learning center ofter so even outside of class she will give you assistance. I took her for BIO 211 lab and now i am in her BIO 212 lecture on purpose! 100% yes take her, she is great!

Ms.El-Gharbawy is a great lab instructor. She has good relations with the lecture instructor and helped us by giving us material that pertained to our lecture as well as lab. She didn't make us do unnessecary things just for the sake of doing them. She does not muudy the water. If you attend, listen and take her notes, you'll do well.

Excellent instructor she made what I considered at first a difficult topic comprehensible and helped those who asked for help. I would suggest you take her in whatever course she teaches.

Great Professor. She made the material easy to understand and considering how much there was to learn, it was strange how she made it almost seem easy. Professor El-Gharbawy gives a student a fighting chance at understanding the material and receiving a good grade.

BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! she wants you to succeed and she will do whatever it takes to help you understand. She is always in the learning center and loves when her students come to her for help. If you go to class and pay attention, you will have no problem getting a good grade. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Abeer is a great professor. She teaches the course thoroughly and in a way that makes it easy to understand. She lets you know exactly what she's expecting on quizzes and exams. Her exams are tough, but if you put forth adequate effort you WILL succeed and you WILL do well and you WILL learn from her! She's very vehement about her teaching.

Very good teacher went above and beyond to help me pass her class. If it wasnt for her I wouldnt have passed. I took here for Bio 211 and Bio 212 fall semester. She is an amazing instructor! If it weren't for her I really do not think I would have been able to pass biology (my lecture instructor was AWFUL). As long as you show up and do the work this class is a cake walk. So thankful I had her.

Very good teacher. You NEED to attend her class or else you will miss important information and will miss quiz/test question! She might appear strict at first, but she just want student to succeed. If you worked hard throughout the semester she might be willing to curve your grade if you missing 2-3 points. I recommend you to take her class!

Abeer is definitely hard to read at first but once the class gets going, you know why you chose her. She is sweet, knowledgeable and willing to help and answer questions. She gives short reviews that don't seem too helpful but her notes are all the help you'll need. The class isn't a breeze. You must attend and pay attention, and you'll do fine

Her lectures were difficult to follow at times, but she did answer any questions you had to ensure you understood the subject material before moving on. Her tests and quizzes were somewhat difficult. Just show up for class. Thats the ONLY way you'll end up passing with a decent grade.

abeer is great-had her for both API and II. you dont even need the text book, but you do need to go to class. she tells you exactly what you need to know in her lectures, and explains things thoroughly. if you go to class you'll do well. would definitely recommend her!

I had this teacher for A&P 211 , and although she can be moody at times she was a very good lab teacher. She goes beyond the lab to make sure you understand the material. Her lectures in lab was very helpful with my in class lecture. She comes across harden at first,later I found her to be very sweet,but serious. I would recommend her for A&P!!!!

I have this instructor for BIO 212, had her for 211, and taking her next semester for BIO 231. She is an excellent teacher and definitely knows what she is talking about. If you go to class, you will pass. She is always nice and always ensures that each student understands the subject. She even sets up meetings with students to provide extra help.

Go to class, take notes, don't get a text book, study, and you're fine. Not an easy teacher, but you can defiantly get an A. She is willing to do anything to help her students. I WILL take her class again, and you should too. Best teacher i have ever had by far.

She is an amazing teacher! She will tell you in a minute how she feels and what she expects out of you. Attendance is a must and take as many notes as possible! Sometimes she may seem angry if people aren't understanding something, but that is only because she cares that her students actually learn, not just pass. She is not in easy A, but she tells you what you are expected to know on tests and if you listen to her lectures, take notes, use notes she makes for you, and study, it is not hard to do well.

She is an A++++ as a professor of Biology, very helpful to the student so we can succeed. She is always willing to give student a review if you have any confusion or questions. I am highly recommending her to anyone. I would definitely take her class again for Bio 212

Very helpful. She comes off kinda rude but is a sweetheart!! I took her for A&P and Micro. She made sure you understand and will take the time out to review before the test. It took me a minute to get use to her but once I did the class was a lot easier.

Abeer is amazing. She doesn't make you use the book at all. If you go to every class and write down everything she puts on the board, and star what she tells you is important, you will get a good grade! There are no surprises. She gives you what you need. Would take again! If you miss an exam she is very good about letting you retake it.

You won't need the book because Abeer is very knowledgeable on both Bio 211 and 212. Show up and pay attention and you will pass. I just wish I could have her teach every class!!!

Great professor! If you come to class, and take notes you will do well. That simple. What she writes on the board is important so write it all down and study it. If you put in the work she works with you. Honestly, you really get the grade you earn. She knows her stuff and has exam reviews outside of class so be sure to show up for those as well.

For any student looking to understand concepts applied to real life while having an instructor who care about your success take Dr. Abeer. She has been my only anatomy and microbiology instructor by choice because thats how impactful she is.

I took Abeer for BIO211 and BIO212, I wish I could continue having her as an instructor. The material is difficult, but she really wants you to be able to understand it. She is very intelligent and can be intimidating at times. But she is very caring and is willing to meet with you outside of class for study groups before tests!!! Take her!

Dr. Abeer is amazing. She makes powerpoints of her notes, PRINT THESE OUT! They are so helpful during lecture to make extra notes. She applies real life situations to make the content easier to understand. Attending lecture is very important. Abeer makes herself available outside of class, and will get together for study sessions before tests.

I thought it was fairly easy but you can not miss class. She is very lecture heavy and you will fall SO behind if you miss even just one or two classes. You are only graded on like 7 or 8 things so you need to make the effort cause those points can get close in the end even if you are getting As and Bs. I will take bio 212 with her too

Abeer is an amazing professor who knows her stuff. She explains the content in detail instead of just reading off the pre-made PowerPoint from the textbook company. She goes into detail and uses real-life examples to help make info more applicable/understanding. There are no curveballs on the exams.

BIO211&212. Dr. Abeer will go out of her way to help you succeed. You miss class and contact her she will meet up with you, you can't, she will call you and go over any material missed. Impossible to get lower than a B if you go and pay attention. Best professor I have taken. She's funny, she cares, and she makes exam information clear beforehand.

This class was pretty straight forward. Show up to class, pay attention to her lecture and repeat. She mentions things that will be on exams during lectures so being present is the main rule. She gives a quiz and exam typically in the same week. The quiz is a great way to gain points. She does genuinely care if you are not getting the information.

Absolutely amazing teacher! No notes were given from a textbook, and no textbook was EVER used! If you miss class, you will never pass as all her test material comes from her lectures. Show up, pay attention and its an easy class!

I was nervous about this class at first but this happened to be one of my favorite classes. I really enjoy her teaching and stories. She lets us know what's going to be on quizzes and exams and even gives us 5 questions from each quiz or exam. She really loves her Pepsi.

The best teacher in Owens I have ever had. She respects the students greatly, does not get angry or intolerant. She is a very calm person, and she always explains calmly and smoothly in order to understand the information. The biggest proof of this is that I was with her at BIO 211 and all the students who were with me joined her in BIO 212.

LEC - Great professor in terms of necessary material! Never wanted to waste our time, was very sweet unless students were taking advantage of her. She taught my CHEM095 lecture and while in school herself so she was stressed at times but always doing her best. Honestly if you have anything really bad to say about her, you're probably the problem...

I always love having Abeer as my professor! BUT, if you are looking for a BIO211 Lecture to be lazy in, this is NOT the one. Abeer cares that we pass and are prepared for BIO212. Lectures can be overwhelming, but she skips through things we don't need. If you skip class I promise you aren't going to pass. There is too much to learn each day to miss

Dr.Abeer was incredible throughout the entire semester.Her teaching was always clear and straightforward. She is very caring and supportive.The anatomy and physiology course is challenging, but she made it much easier to understand.I wish she taught other classes because I would enroll in them without hesitation.I wish all professors were like her.

Ms. Abeer is an amazing professor. She simplifies complex material and makes it comprehensible. She also has a fun personality and looks out for every one of her students. Extra credit is sometimes given and she ALWAYS prepares you for a quiz/test. Make sure to take her notes, there is no fluff.

I just love her. She makes it hard to fail. She does like participation. Just show up participate and listen to what she tells. She goes over everything that will be on the test. Can seem a little rough around the edge. BUTTTT I love a spicy teacher. She means no harm at all.

Just sign up!!! I cant belive anyone has anything bad to say!! She is straight to the point. Study her notes!! In class she will say "sounds like a good test question." Best believe its a test question.

I really liked having Abeer, she was straight to the point and practical and cares about her students but she did teach a couple of things wrong and was adamant she was right even though every resource said opposite, I also find some of her questions on quizzes and exams to be a little bit of trick questions where the whole class gets it wrong.

If you show up every class and take decent notes, you'll be fine. The only grades are exams, quizzes, and in-class worksheets. She seems scary at first, but the class is laid out for you to succeed, everything she says will be on the exam WILL BE. She doesn't give study material, I loved making Quizlets for this class.

She's an outstanding biology instructor! Goes above and beyond to help her students and is always available when needed. Her teaching style is fun, and full of real-life examples that make difficult material easy.
