Very funny and interesting professor. learned a lot through his funny comments and examples!

Professor Chen is a great professor. He is one of the best! Attendance is extremely important because his exams are based on his lectures. He gives fantastic lectures! I've enjoyed every one of his class. He also cares about his students . He will go out of his way to help his students. Outside of class, he is just a wonderful person.

Chen is good for business law 1. he's one of the few, maybe only, professor that does not use PPT for lecture. His lectures are direct to what you need to study for exams so the teaching is very straight forward. you'll know what to study. Group project: mock trial-choose your team wisely! fun class. I will miss taking Chen!- ALL EXAMS ARE ESSAY.

Chen was the man! Took his business law 1 class! Didnt need the textbook, as all the things he teaches will be on the test. Pretty easy class. Chen keeps track of attendance with a sign in sheet. Two midterms, a final, a group presentation, and a research paper.

Professor Chen knows what he's doing. Great professor for everything paralegal. Definitely one of the best.

Show Up to all Lectures if not, get a buddy to send you the notes. Chens lectures are the study guide. He explains the material so well that it sticks right away and youll be ready for the test. Writing part is a bit tricky but he can provide you good feedback. 1 writing assignment in the whole semester but overall chen is a great professor.

This was an online class and Professor Chen was really great. He was always fast in returning assignments and he always made comments on everything you turned in. You will know exactly what's going on in this online class. In most assignments, you must reply to your classmates. There was a big research paper at the end.

Professor Chen is probably one of THE BEST professors teaching at Chaffey. He's really funny and makes the material easy to remember. He also uses basic language to make the wording easy to understand and uses great examples. You're going to need green books as well as scantrons for his tests, but its easy if you study.

Chen is by far the best professor at Chaffey. I took him for 3 law classes and he was awesome in all 3 classes! Take good notes and study hard. You will do fine. His lectures were funny and you will love it.

This was an online class. I love the class structure. It's clear and I always know exactly what is expected of me. He gives feedback on all of the online assignments. He always respond my email sometimes within the hour. I learned so much. The final research paper is tough, but he did a live web lecture and made everything clear.

Professor Chen is very clear on lectures and will tell you what will be used for exams which is noatly everything he writes down on the board or what he includes on his power points.

As long as you attend lectures and take notes you'll be fine. What he writes on the board is what will be on the test. Write w/e he writes and study it a little and you'll be fine. His 8 pg paper is pretty easy, just be sure to use a ton of in text citations as I'm pretty sure that's the main thing he's looking for. Best professor I've had so far.

Professor Chen is an ideal choice for this class, He's the best at what he does such as breaking down every part needed to be learned for midterms and exams

Professor Chen makes this class fun and enjoyable. His lectures are basically everything, as he tests you based off of them, but does to make sure everyone is engaged and that everyone understands the material before moving on. He cares for his students and wants everyone to pass. A group project, an easy research paper, and very passable tests.

For an online class, I couldn't ask for more. Professor Chen is fast returning email. He reads all of my postings and comments on them. He also gives feedback on all of my homework. He does require everyone to comment at least three times in each chapter. He is very clear about his expectations. I wish he can teach more online classes.

Professor Chen is so funny and makes the lectures interesting. He uses multiple examples before moving onto a new topic to make sure the students have a thorough understanding. The exams are based completely on lectures, if he didn't talk about it during class it won't be on the exam. Highly recommend.

Prof. Chen is a great professor. This review is more about him outside of classroom. He helped me with my essay to apply for a scholarship and I really believe that if it was not for him encouraging me to apply and to help me edit my essay, I wouldn't have gotten the shcolarship. Inside and outside of the class, he is the very best!

Professor Chen is one of those rare and gifted teachers who can translate deep information like Laws and government and clauses and make it relatable for us to understand. He makes law interesting because he is so great at translating the information. He wont test you on anything he doesnt talk about in class which is great, as long as you come!

Professor Cheng is a great teacher. He's funny and really cares about his students. Provides good examples and doesn't move on until he feels that his students have understood the concept. Not a hard grade and helps every way he can to make sure his students pass. Two midterms and a final are ALL based on his lectures. 10/10 would recommend.

He has an awesome rating for a reason guys! He keeps everyone engaged with his amazing lectures and hilarious real life case study examples. Inspiring because he reminded me why I always wanted to study law and showed me how attainable it is! Exams are 100% based on his lectures! Go to class and pay attention and youll get a good grade!

I know it's only the second week of class, but Chen is extremely inspirational and his lectures are so well thought out and interesting! So far, he is the best professor I have!

Prof. Chen was a great professor and is very passionate about what he teaches. Prof. Chen will go into detail about he teaches but, I guarantee that you will remember what he teaches you and what he says is important for the future. He's a super good professor, knowledgeable and good at explaining things. You literally cannot miss class though, because the tests are all from his lectures/notes, not the textbook. Also he's just really funny and nice. Study and do the tests in the correct format, and you should be fine.

Was a little apprehensive about him at first but I really grew to love his class, really funny professor and does a really great job making sure you understand the material. His exams seem intimidating at first but if you go to class and basically just copy what he writes on the board theyre super easy!

Professor Chen is one of the best professors I have ever had. Not only is he funny but he can really teach. The material was easy to learn because of the way he taught and the type of notes we would write down. The class is an easy A if you come to class and study the notes. The exams are based off the notes. Took him for two semesters.

Professor Chen is awesome! The homework/class work is very easy and straightforward. His midterms and finals are very heavy based on the simplicity of other work, but the best part is that everything you learn is what is actually on the test. Simple structure for each lecture and he is very interactive with his students.

Honestly Chen was one of the best professors I had at Chaffey. His lectures are super helpful and he states how each exam is going to be. Responds to emails rapidly! Took him spring 2021, we had 3 exams, a research paper and the final. As far as class participation we would check in every week on canvas with a post. Overall he is a great professor

Lots of Long Powerpoint slide shows, and lengthy, but if you take notes, and study the slides, you will pass the class. Just listen to instructions, and the exams are all timed so studying is an absolute must!

Professor Chen is overall a good teacher. I took him for criminal law and his class was pretty fun. You have to read a lot of the textbook. You have a discussion assignment and a homework assignment every week. He makes you post and comment on separate days which is annoying because you forget. I would recommend overall.

The best prof Ive ever taken! I thought this would be a tough class but it turned out to be extremely easy so long as you listen to his lectures and take good notes. Funny guy and cares about your progress. One big research paper and 3 exams. No reading required. Just take it.

I enjoyed this class it was enlightening things I can one day use or share. The professor is encouraging, helpful, ad informative. The lectures are long and extensive and it is important that you take a lot of notes. Do not procrastinate on watching the lecture videos because you will need the information for the assignments and exams.

Professor Chen has been one of my favorite professors! He's very positive, funny and makes sure his students understand the material being taught. I took his business Law class and his criminal law class and both were great. His lectures are amazing and he really makes it stick. All of his tests are from his lectures, so you don't need the textbook. Very tough grader, however, there is no homework, just 3 exams and one research paper.Very quick response. Definetly take but you HAVE to study.

I really enjoyed this class this past semester! Got an A- . Class was really interesting and easy to me I feel I took and learned a lot out of it. No homework just exams and 1 essay. Essay he let us pick topic for buslaw1 I believe 2 is different. text book not needed, pay attention to PowerPoint slides though very important and take notes!

Only 3 exams and 1 research paper for this course. The exam has multiple-choice questions based on the lecture videos and PowerPoint slides and 1 question that requires you to fill in 5 different paragraphs for legal issues. Always join his office hours for questions, take serious notes, and complete your exam very quickly! Timing is strict!

I LOOOOOOVE Professor Chen! I have never taken any other business law professors, he is the only one and i WILL stick with him! He gives lectures (which you really have to watch and pay attention to), but it's not boring at all. His weekly assignments are simple, and only has 3 exams. He responds emails outside of class. He's the best.

Great teacher there are lectures you can watch. A breath of fresh air really there to support you in your career path. Tests where somewhat difficult you just have to prepare as they are time sensitive that can be stress full as you cannot proofread and go back and fourth looking at notes they were 30-60 minute long written tests.

Looks like the reviews have paid off! His midterm exams are all from the PowerPoint slides but always remember to listen for his examples because the last question requires a paragraph using legal steps, negligence, and contract. The exam is timed quickly, so its best to review your notes! Also, complete the 6-page legal essay as well.

Professor Chen has by far been one of my favorite professors. Class consists of 3 exams and 1 research paper. Attendance is not mandatory but I highly recommend going everyday and take good notes. Answers to exams are based off the slides and some of the examples he says. Overall amazing professor, definitely take him if you need to.

Amazing class!! There weren't many assignments, so your grade is mainly based on the exams, but they are fairly easy as long as you pay attention and study. His lectures were very entertaining, so I really enjoyed them! Overall, I was supposed to get a B+ (89.5%), but Professor Chen ended up rounding up my grade without me even asking! 10/10 prof.

This class mainly consists of 3 Exams: 2 Midterms and a Final Exam. Then, you are required to write a six-page Research Paper in APA format. All exams are from the lecture video, and it is essential to take notes and read the textbook and the PowerPoint slides. There is no extra credit, so you must do well on the exams to get a good grade.

Take DETAILED notes. No HW, just attendance check-ins & tests. Always write down the examples he gives it REALLY helps during the tests. The tests are 15 MC+SECTION B which is a short essay based on the notes and examples he gives. You only have 80 mins, so make sure you understand your notes and what he has lectured about.

Such a caring professor. His lectures cover exactly what was going to be on the exams, and he also gave examples and help on the writing portion of the exam. I enjoyed his lectures and his stories.

He was a good professor because his video lectures were what were on the exams so just take notes on the lectures and you should be good. He goes over real world examples in his video as well make sure you take notes on those examples as well.
