How is such a bad teacher the department head?

He is a doctor and the chair of CISY&INFO. He can't teach, and he even can't speak English. He just knows how to make students in the living hell. Everything must be done individually! Don't even think he will help you a little help too! Good luck people!

The textbook is of no help at all. The assignment are very difficult. However, he is an easy marker.

This is a terrible prof. He cannot teach. He is too boring and a lot of it is basic word and excel. Learn your visual basic on your own and you have the class covered. Easy class but the instructor is not "right" - he is also very hard to understand because he has a speech impediment.

Um, before you take a class with this guy, just shoot yourself in the foot. If you wait till after you take his class, you'll want to shoot yourself in the head.

If you can avoid this guy, do so!

This prof is next to useless. things he teach in class are straight forward but tests and exams are all on slides not discussed in class. He is also very rude to his students and doesn't speak english properly. his favorite quote consits of "computer only understand 1 and 0" easy class but avoid this prof

This class is useless when taking him as your prof. His assignments and labs are so unclear and he is always having troubles trying to explain things. On top of him being unclear, he still expects submissions within the given due date, no exceptions. AVOID!

Extremely boring and monotone, he loses the classes attention within the first 10 minutes. He is very unclear is what he expects and is unprepared for class.

The word "drone" would be best used to describe his behaviors because he has absolutely no interest in the well-being of his students. Throughout the school year he reads off power point slides in a monotone and slams you for not being professional in your assignments even though he doesnt explain anything. Avoid this prof at all costs.

Abhijit gives very boring lectures. It takes him forever to explain a topic that could be explained in 5 minutes. The material covered in class is only half of what you are expected to know on his tests. So read the book. He could easily fix his behavior by sharing his passion with more enthusiasm and by keeping the lecture at a faster pace.

I've never had a worse proff than him with all due respect. He doesn't exactly know what he's doing 70% of the time and if you ask him a question in terms of the class he won't know how to answer your question. Very very tough marker, the class average was 66%.

He gives us Assignments that mean absolutly nothing to his course material, second year computer course, assignment is how to clear search history, I expect most of us have already done this before, never take him, he's a nice guy, but really, his assignments need to be on topic, never take this guy for INFO2411.

His lectures are incredibly boring. He only reads off the powerpoint slides and rarely shows us examples or give us in-depth explanations of the contents in each chapter. Luckily I bought the textbook and it taught so much more than he did. He gets very upset if you come to class late, so be prepared for a small scolding if you're 10+ mins late.

Half of the time, you cannot understand what he is saying. He just reads off the slides and takes questions from Google for the exams. Labs and assignments are useless. For example, he makes you download a VPN and makes you show how it works. He does not seem knowledgeable on the subject. Do not take this "instructor" if you actually want to learn.

His labs and assignments are not clear and useless. He got his labs from some random website which have no credibility.

i will never forget this man. during lectures, he spoke many, many words at the front of the class... but what did they mean? i will never know. because it was all nonsense. to this day i sit here and think.. "wow, i really paid to watch him fumble with the computer cause he has no idea what he's doing." i wish i liked C++. he's the reason i don't.

It's like he's a zombie, no enthusiasm at all. You also learn nothing at all, everything that he "teaches" is so basic, and all of the answers to the exam questions can be found online.

Professor does not impart knowledge but just reads off the slides and test you on how fast you can do maths in quizes. The lectures are very dry and monotone. Some of the stuff that is taught is very confusing and professor does not clarify it well enough either. group assignment is not hard but there is not much one learns from this course.

Gives good feedback but insanely elitist and strict. Really rude in class as well. He also doesn't give extensions even if you are sick which is nuts.

The professor is a bit lazy and its really boring studying in the class. Can't even understand a simple thing by his knowledge. Continuously getting worst grades. Not good at clearing doubts. Makes simple things complex and hard to understand. No proper structure of the course.

Overcomplicates simple coding functions. Avoid this professor as you will learn nothing about coding. He just reads off the slides, no practical work is done in the class. His lectures are very boring. Has alot of in-class quizzes, deducts marks from assignments without any valid reason.

Listen to the ratings. I rarely trust ratemyprof ratings because some people here are just whiny, but seriously this professor is terrible. Boring, uninteresting classes that put you to sleep. I would learn more just reading the slides at home than listening to him, but attendance is mandatory. He also assigns random group projects which I dislike.

Laughable experience in this course overall. Professor told us to use AI instead of bothering to give us clear instructions on things that are only tangentially related to the course. Lectures are boring, he often gets confused with technical issues, and assignment guidelines are extremely vague. If you actually want to learn, choose someone else.

Terrible experience. This prof grading style is unpredictable and he forgets a lot of things in class, he spent 10 minutes trying to figure out which class section we were and posted the assignments in the wrong class. Tons of group work 98% of all assignments and final projects are group work except 1 assignment in the start. Don't take him.
