I took nutrition online and she made every thing easy and clear. She tells you ahead of time of what is going to be on the tests. Save your reviews for the final.

Professor Kennedy is the best when it comes to Nutrition. She is very clear during her lectures and funny too! She is very helpful, especially when it came to the tests. Considering no one has left a review since 2008 I'll give an update. Super stressful class in the summer, I don't recommend you take it with any other classs. Gives at least 5 chapters a week plus 3 assignments and fill in pp's. I made an A, but I also did homework and chapters everyday. Class is very informative, but be prepared to invest time...

She was very helpful, gave study guides, test right off of the study guide, discussions were boring, easy A.

Take her! I'm in her online class but she lays everything out in the beginning and makes sure she gets your grades to you promptly. Most of the homework is based on personal goals and nutrition experiences so they are very easy and if you miss any she lets you make them up. She really wants you to succeed and i actually learned a lot!

She is an amazing teacher! She lays everything out week by week. Do the self test b/c those are exactly like the test! She offers many opportunities for extra credit. There is a hw at the end of the week but those are simple. Impossible to not get an A!!!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! I just finished her summer mini-mester online with an easy A. She has all of the notes you will need online so buying a book isn't really necessary. Do the reviews and self-tests and you'll make A's on everything, easy. There's long outlines but they aren't necessary. Do the homework. No reason you shouldn't get an A!!

4 tests including final. She gives out a "Self test" for each chapter we cover. They're not for a grade but the actual tests are 90% the same as the self tests, so do those. She gives one homework assignment each week, just follow the instructions and you'll get an A. No late penalties, but DON'T SLACK. Easiest class I've ever taken and great prof.

AMAZING professor! Full credit is easy to get in her class, her lectures are very self explanatory and she is there for you if you need her. I learned so much in her class, and I will take what I learned and apply it to my everyday life to be more healthier. She taught me things I never knew!! I would take her for sure, I wish I had her in class.

I took nine classes as a Dual Credit student and Professor Kennedy was by far the best one. The material was easy to understand and Professor Kennedy provided plenty of resources so that we could all do our best. She was always available and promptly responded to (almost) all my emails. I would definitely take this class from her again.

AMAZING teacher!! A homework assignment is due every week, 4 exams total including the final... Used the book a few times but it's not needed. She's quick responding to emails and is always willing to help out when you need it! Would take her again for sure

This class was an Easy A, but you do have to work for it. There is A LOT of writing in this class through the weekly homework assignments. Do the chapter quizzes; they are the EXACT questions that will be on the test!!! I highly suggest you keep on track with assignments, but if you don't, she does accept late work.

Online exams are EXACTLY like the practice chapter exams. 14-15 homework assignments total. Worth 40% of your grade. So must stay on top of all homework. She is flexible with late assignments & you have 4-5 days to complete an exam. She was a good teacher. :)

I am currently taking Professor Kennedy's nutrition class and she is the sweetest. Her lectures are detailed & gives personal examples and gives lots of feedback on assignments. She does offer a few extra credit but her assignments and tests are a breeze. Take her practice tests at the end of each chapter and you will do well on the exams. EASY A.

3 exams, 1 final, 3 discussion posts, 14 hw's. At first, I was hesitant but the reviews DO NOT lie! I learned a lot and scared myself regarding my health and day-to-day activities in the process, but totally worth it. The infos are really reviews from biology plus new infos. Professor Gail responds asap and grades in a timely manner. (:

She is BEST professor ever, take her if you can!! Her tests were super easy that follows the review and the self-quizzes that were given. There is homework at least 14 of them, but they were simple and not hard at all. Professor Kennedy is super caring and nice. She will email you back instantly if you have any concern.

I was nervous at first about taking this class online but it was a breeze. You have 1 discussion a week which is pretty easy and she provides extra credit. She also provides practice quizzes which are similar to the exams. There are 4 exams total with the last one being a final. Very interesting class would definitely recommend.

Professor Kennedy is hands down THE BEST. Not only is the online course an easy A, but she explains things in a way to keep you interested and attentive. Her exams are 95% exact to the practice quizzes. There's at least 1 HW assignment per chapter (VERY EASY), plenty of time to complete! She's quick with emails & grading. LOVE HER!

Nutrition on-line that I took as a summer course so it was fast paced but very doable. 14 HW assignments,2 exams, a final exam and 2 final discussions. Everything is on her lectures and the quizzes after each chapter (not for grade)- is key to passing exams. Do the work and this class is very passable! You do have to go to testing centers for exams

I took Prof. Kennedys nutrition class online. Her notes are crystal clear, and very much what she tests you on. The book wasnt a necessity unless you wanted deeper in dept information for each chapter. She gave us a chapter a week and homework on that chapter due that following Monday, usually a 1-2 pg paper over what you learned. Awesome class!

Prefessor Kennedy is a great professor, her lectures are very clear and she provides page numbers for multiple additions of the book. She encourages emailing when you dont understand something or need homework help. Her nongraded self tests are the key to getting an A on her exams. As long as you dedicate the time, getting an A shouldnt be hard.

She is amazing! U have 2 hmwk assignments each week. As long as u do it u should get a 100. The tests are easy! U can easily get an A on the exam just by doing the self quizzes and the review sheet. A lot of the questions from the OPTIONAL self quizzes are on the exams! Exams r every other wk. U only need the book 4 some hmwks. TAKE HER!!!!

She is an amazing instructor. You do her quizzes and you will pass the test with an easy A. I did however put in about 20+ hours of studying a week. Her test are pretty long and timed to where you only get about 1-2 min per question. Test are about 80-96 questions. HW is 60%, Test 20%, (2) Discussions 20%. Took her for 6 weeks.

I took this class for a short-term of summer and she was one of amazing teachers. Even though it was a lot homework and lectures to read but her lectures were so easy to understand and very interesting. Most of the answer for exams were similar with the self-quizzes. She gave me feedback for every of my homework.

One of the best professors I've had so far! She's super caring and if you talk to her she'll work with you no matter what it is. I took her for an 8 week class so it was a little fast paced, but nothing I couldn't handle. You do have to study, but she gives you everything you need to succeed and the tests are just like the self-quizzes.

Lectures are a bit heavy but very interesting. She is an easy grader, VERY lenient with grading and late work. As long as you complete homework, you will get an A. Quizzes and final are on quizlet. Textbook is needed but she is very understanding in case you can't get it.

She is so organized and even though it is online she has outlines you can print and as you read off her notes you can fill in the spaces on your outline! she tests based on your notes and she is not tricky on her test! If you do your outlines and your h.w you will pass!

She is an AMAZING teacher who cares about all of her student's passing. If you don't pass this class, it is just because you are lazy. This is by far the easiest class I've taken at Lone Star. She is by far the best teacher I recommend her 100%!

She's a great professor. Everything was broken down 60/40 so doing your homework (which is not too difficult is important. Really accessible, friendly and funny.

Professor Kennedy is very friendly and caring towards her students. I took BIOL 1322 in the 3-week format, so of course, there were a lot of assignments, but the work is still doable. One thing that I would prefer is to see her lecture videos instead of typed lecture pages. I still really enjoyed her class and learned a lot from her! :)

This professor is amazing to the point where you actually learn because she isn't putting a ton of pressure on you. Her practice quizzes (not graded) are on the exams and her reviews provide all the information you need to get a high A on every exam. She has homework assignments, but they are easy and can be done in a short period of time.

I learned a lot and never felt like this class was weighing me down. Very kind and helpful feedback on assignments, and class is structured in a way that really helps you learn the information. I didn't need to use my book at all because she included everything we needed from it in her lectures. Exams are straightforward and not tricky. Great prof!

I took this class online in the spring 8 week section and finished with an A+. I work a full time very demanding job and had no problem completing any coursework. She gives you an opportunity to redo homework to earn back points. She also provides note guides that follows along with the lessons. She also gives out test reviews and really cares.

This nutrition class far exceeded my expectations. I ended up making a 102% in the class. If you read the notes and do the homework, there is no reason not to make an A+. But most importantly, I actually feel like this course changed my life. Prof Kennedy was caring and kind. Absolutely take her course!

Take this professor, she loves her job! 13 homework assignments that were easy, 3 exams, and the final. Gives clear feedback on every hw assignment and has many opportunities for extra credit. She responds fast to emails & grades fast too. Plus, d2l page is organized. For an 8-week course, this class was not stressful. I would take it again.

Took her as 8 weeks course, easiest class ever !! 14 HW super easy , 4 exam including final (online). 2 discussions post at the end which is 5pts each- of the final grade. Super easy !!! No textbook needed . Quizlet is your besties :))

Material was tougher than I expected be it's lots of reading but lots of websites provided & SELF TEST) for each topic. GIVES REVIEWS FOR EXAMS. Prof Kennedy is the sweetest and most caring person ever. Her class is extremely easy as long as you complete assignments and read the notes. She offers bonus points to help improve test grades. TAKE HER!!!

Professor Kennedy is one of the best professors I have had while attending Lonestar. I took her eight-week course; it was a lot at first but easy to follow. She gives extra credit. She is also super understanding and caring. Plus, she is super understanding and easy to communicate with. She will provide an extension on late work.

Are you kidding? this professor is Amazing! I learned so much in this Nutrition class. She responds quickly, she's caring and understanding. She extends work if you are in a time crunch and provides extra credit. Saying that she is organized is an Understatement & her assignments are so FUN. Literally the sweetest professor ever! She cares about her students and even through online, you can tell by the messages she sends every other day. I found the class super fun and interesting. It a pretty easy class if you take the time to read all the assignments and plan them out ahead of time. If you're thinking about taking her, do it!
