A bit strict but you'll get over it...She breaks down the subject matter in practical everyday terms. Her tests are only multiple choices. What more could you ask for?

Highly recommended, knows her stuff and teaches it well. can't express enough how good she is. If you do bad it's because you don't study. this is accounting there is no easy here, want easy take pottery.

This professor is very helpful, but if you really want to get an A in this class you have to study alot. If you dont study there is no way you will pass the class. And another thing the professor doesn't curve the grade she gives three tests and assingments whatever is your average that's what you'll get for the final grade.

This is a great professor! I dont care what anyone says in this site about her. It is true that she gives work and that this class is not a walk in the park. But when you come out ot her class you have a good acct foundation.I took her for 171 and 272 and got an A in her class. I used to get 100 in the test. Just Study and read the chapters!!!

I was warned not to take Prof. Rodriguez's course because she was hard, but that is the very thing accounting students need, and she wasn't that hard. In fact, she was extremely attentive to accuracy and detail. I just wish she taught the next level in the accounting courses.

All the people who say she is hard are liars. Acc was not my major and she kept me very interested in the subject. She is concise and to the point with her notes. Yes the exams may be tricky but if you try hard, do the hw and show up everyday, you will get at least a B+ to an A in her class.

The absolute best! Wish she taught 335 and Cost Accounting. Everyone complaining that she's too hard either doesn't study or just can't wait to get these accounting classes over with. She's a great teacher but doesn't compromise if you happen to miss exam. I'm a straight A student and I missed an exam (for a silly reason but it was unavoidable). I pleaded with Prof.R. to give me a make-up exam or extra work so that I can have a chance of getting a fair grade (a missed exam is automatic -20 points). But NO! Had to drop the class!

Also for ACC 335 during the Summer. The course material is well organized. It is NOT an easy A, because you have to do your homework to get that A. Listen to the pre-recorded lectures & take notes. I took an online class and her instruction was very clear. Im not that good in accounting but if you do the homework you will pass. She gives the answers to the homework to match them. If you ask for help she will do so.

Avoid her! She's very sarcastic and if you as a student have a question she will put you down and will get mad. She puts information on the exams that she doesnt even teach on lectures.

I took this class online. I was nervous because accounting has NOTHING to do with my major, its a pre-req. Be prepared to spend $100 for wileyplus if you take it online. She gives dates for exams/assignments. She responds to emails quick & gives chapter notes/video lectures! STUDY & you are guaranteed an A. I dislike acc & got an A so its possible.

Homeworks are 50% of your grade and theres no way you can't get less than 49% because you have seveal tries. The 2 exams are multiple choice which can be kind of tricky. But i got Bs on both and got an A in the class thanks to homework. Would totally recommend this class online with this professor.

Great online course. You do your work by the deadlines (including extra credit), ask her questions via email (she responds quickly) PLUS there are youtube class lectures using this exact text so you don't even have to read the text. No way to NOT earn an A + actually learn accounting

She gives you video lectures, which makes life easy! Its 50% Wiley plus assignments, which is easy because you have 5 tries to get it right, her videos show you how to do the work for the chapters and wiley plus most of the time literally gives you a walk through on a similar problem. 25% midterm and final (multiple choice)

Prof. Rodriguez is very detailed and structured which I loved. It was my first online course taken during the Winter intersession and I would do it again. I learned more from her video lectures than the in class lecture during ACC171. Very clear and quick responses. I don't like accounting but she made it an easy class to understand.

Really enjoyed this class, it was one of the best online courses I've taken.

In this class we used Wiley Plus and i actually enjoyed how the class is structured. 1 Homework assignment per week , two practice test to see how you do and a midterm and final. Material is straightforward for the most part, basic math skills needed.

Best ACC prof ever. Gives you notes and video online. I learned more on her notes than the book itself. Gives exact format for questions, but different numbers. Explains it clearly. She is quick to respond to email as well. Even moved one of the deadlines, because something happened with wiley. Truly cares for the student. Will take her again!

Same as the ACC 272 Online class. All the notes and things you need t o do are provided. Make sure just do the HW and watch the videos and you should be able to pass. The final was kinda different on the way the question was worded, but you can figure it out based on your homework and google. You should be fine. Responds very fast and really caring

I loved her online accounting class. The cost of the class was really helpful. once you are enrolled into her 171 class your automatically enrolled in her 272 class which means you don't have to buy the program again just make sure to physical enroll into it on CunyFirst. I would love to take her again!

This professor is the best Accounting professor there is. She is always very clear in her lectures and always willing to help you understand the material. Do all your homework, view her video lectures, attend to class, do the extra credit, if any. And, practice, practice, practice. The more exercises you do, the better off you are in her class.

Clear syllabus. One hw per week, not too challenging if you read the material. practice tests are optional but gives you a picture of where you are. All you need to do is the HW on time and good on the midterm and final. Responds to emails by the next day. I would take again if I had the chance.

I was so nervous taking this accounting online class. The first 2 homeworks were difficult because I was new taking online classes but once I got the hang of it everything was very easy. She gives you all the materials you need in BB. She is great.

you do everything on wileyplus, homeworks and the exams. 2 exams midterm and final worth 15% of your grade each, the other 70% are the homeworks which you have to do in time no lateness, she adds 2 extra homeworks for extra credit in the midterm and final. real simple and organized, you do everything on time you should be fine.

Take Professor Rodriguez for ACC 334; you will pass. Her videos and lecture notes are clear and easy to follow. Lots of practical examples. The exams or projects are similar to the homework and Wileyplus. So, no stress and no surprises. You will also learn a lot. Do all the homework and stay on top of things. You will get an A. ACC 335-with her.

Do your homework and study and you'll do great in this class

This is the easiest class I have ever taken. 25% of your grade is homework assignments and 75% is the Final. Everything is easy considering it's online and assignments are not timed. I am a Baruch student and requested an ePermit to take this course. Definitely worth the financial aid money for the summer.

This professor is always available to anyone that needs help and is very understanding. She posts videos that compliment the lecture and allows for a good number of attempts. For this course, shes the best.

As long as you have an understanding in accounting, ACC 272 should be easy. Just follow her steps in the practice sets to help do the HW from Wiley and you should be fine. All assignments given is on WileyPlus and you have 8 attempts which I believe is very generous. You should not receive anything less than an A.

Hardly communicated with her, but the class was super easy so you wouldn't have to. She provides all the information you need to navigate the class and emails reminders when homework is due. Definitely take her if you want an easy A.

I took Rodriguez during the summer as a asynchronous class. We used a website called WileyPlus that only costs $60 with her discount code. All the HWs were in this website and the HWs had to be completed before the due date, meaning we had the opportunity to complete HWs early. There were 13 HWs and i completed all of them in 7days. Its that easy!!

Accounting isn't easy itself. I took ACC272 asynchronous class. Professor Rodriguez made it more enjoyable and easier to grasp and understand it. She will explain it until you understand it. She is very organized and prepared for every lecture. Her teaching method is my favorite. I would take another course with her if possible!

Easy as long as you read the book on Wiley plus. Access to the website is Necessary to complete work. Straight forward assignments for each chapter.

Attendance isn't mandatory, everything is on the blackboard. Exams are mostly MC questions

Took this class for summer right after taking ACC 171. Great summer class to take, clear directions and lectures. Must have New Whiley access for HW and Test. I hope I have her again for future accounting classes.

I took her in the Fall Semester '22. She was engaging & clear when explain the concepts. She was creative and use multiple examples for us to understand the material. Despite being a morning class, she was understanding of us coming in a couple of minutes late. She was kind,& knowledgeable of the material. She used WileyPlus for HW. Take her :)))

Online course. You have to be able to learn from PowerPoint presentations. Presentations were clear and easy to follow.

She uses WileyPlus (homework each week but I managed to finish a semester's work within a month or two) only really had to worry about two exams but they're multiple choice (20 questions) and she gives you a week to complete it! She's a great professor, but the class requires independent study to fully understand the material. One thing I wish she'd change is her frequent comments about the difficulty of the material. While I don't believe she meant it negatively, I think constantly repeating it might not be the most helpful approach for students.

Professor Rodriguez's ACC272 class was a great experience. Her clear teaching style and well-structured course made complex accounting concepts accessible. I found Unstuckstudy and the textbook very helpful for acing the exams. Overall, a rewarding class I'd happily take again.
