Ada's the best teacher ever! Her classes are completely lecture and discussion (through power point presentations), and she tests EXACTLY on the notes you took in class! She even gives extra points on the test when you win at a jeopardy game she has made!

Mrs. W what a looker, first she is a great teacher. She is very clear and to the point. She always wears something to catch the eye. Fun class foxy little kitten for a teacher. Nothing but good times.

Great Teacher. Definitely knows what she is talking about. Don't even buy the book because all the tests are based on the notes. There is no take home, homework. There are about 3 or 4 projects a couple of them being group project. Take her.

Ada is WONDERFUL. She's very clear on what she does and she tests right from her notes. If you are in class for notes and review sessions you will do well on her tests. I had her for two classes and got easy A's in both of them. Highly reccomended!

Ada is the best! I took Psych 1100 for credits for a degree, but I really enjoy this class! It's fun and informative and Ada is really nice. I highly recommend taking her class!!

She's a really nice teacher. The class itself pretty much just consists of lectures so at times that can be boring, but theres only a few tests around 50 questions each and a few papers. There is no midterm or final and a few extra credit opportunities so it's not that challenging. Be sure to use the online flashcards and practice quizzes before your exams and you'll do just fine, they're great study aides. Definately a teacher i would recommend if you're interested in child development.

I adore Ada. I took her a second time because I loved my gen psych class so much! She teaches from powerpoint presentations and gives good explanations. Now I took this class as an independent class so, remember that - this was a hard class!!!! I learned a lot but tests are hard! I am a 4.0 student and I am getting a "C" in course. I would not suggest taking this course independently. Ada is very nice and helpful though. I would have liked to take her course in person.

Ada is an absolute sweetheart. I simply adore her! She has a good heart and is completely genuine with everyone she knows. I've never seen anyone who is more passionate about what they teach than she is. In fact, I owe it to her for making me want to major in psychology! Her class is SO much fun, and easy too! She loves it when students ask questions, and her homework assignments are really fun. She gives excellent notes and explains everything with such clarity, it's impossible NOT to do well in this class. Take her!

Awesome teacher. Very innovative and fun learning atmosphere. 1 quiz and 1 homework a week, but the homework's are pretty easy. Study for the tests and take good notes in the class and you should get a high grade. The quizes are moderate depending on how much you read. Aida is awesome!

If you have half a brain at all you can at least pull off a B. She is really nice, but almost "too nice" if that makes any sense. If you "DO THE WORK" you can get an A for sure

I enjoyed the material and she explained everything really well. She made class fun and the work load was reasonable. I wish I was at COD longer so I could have taken more classes with her. Tests and Quizzes were easy and there wasn't a lot of homework. If you are going to take Psy 1100-take her!

Great teacher! She made every class so much fun! She's easy to understand, and interesting. She gave a lot of homework assignments, but she only seems to grade on whether or not you actually take the time to do them, and not the quality. You'd have to be an idiot to fail this class.

I took her hybrid general psy class. I didn't really need to go to the lectures because everything she teaches is online or in the book. There were a lot of assignments, but if you get it done early, its not a problem. There is a lot of extra credit (not easy tho). Great teacher for intro to psych, especially if you want to work at your own pace

Really good teacher, took her hybrid course but wish I had more time in her class because she's really fun and she's an easy grader. As long as you do all the work you will be guaranteed an A. I didn't turn in 3 assignments in the beginning of semester and she still let me turn them in last week of school.

Helps if you ask. Test are pretty much impossible though. Just keep contact with her.

I took her for the ONLINE Psych class and I completely regret it. Do not take any online Psych class with her unless you don't care if you don't get an A. The tests are ridiculous and you're not going to get an A unless you memorize the textbook word for word.

Do NOT take her online section. If you think it's going to be an easy A, your wrong.

Took online class. Basically consisted of 4 units with each unit having 4 chapter readings, 4 quizzes, an assignment, and a test. The final was cumulative. No due dates except for the end f the 16 weeks. Easy A if you read the material completely. Otherwise it can be extremely tough if you lack the motivation and time to do it. Teacher is helpful.

I loved Prof. Wainwright, she was very passionate about her profession and was helpful in so many ways. Class was interesting and she was an easy grader. Turn in all your assignments, and for goodness sake take advantage of the EXTRA CREDIT! There is no reason for you to do bad in this class.

Took online course. I don't recommend it to those who can't put a lot of time per week into it. Broken up into 4 sections, each containing 4 chapters quizzes, a test, and hw assignment. Easiest to do each section in one day. FInished in 4 weeks since there is no deadlines and got an A but each day I worked was like an 8 hour day of reading.

Professor Wainwright, is very passionate about what she teaches, class is very interesting. She does give a "mini essay" everyday before class, but that's just to see how much you know about what she'll be teaching. I really liked her class!

It was only once a week. Overall, class was fun and the teacher was great! However, tests were HORRIBLE. They were all online but extremely difficult. There were about 8-10 online assignments, pretty easy! (She only checks to see if you have tried em') Not an easy A if you take it once a week.

I took her for 1101 psych and had to take a class again so I took an online class. She is very sweet and understanding. She is extremely helpful. Just need to listen to her presentations, or if you're online, reading is a necessity. She is very straightforward. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a class with her.

Took this as an internet course FA2011. It was pretty straightforward. We applied what we learned in the book to 'raising' a virtual child which was pretty cool. I saved some money buying a used book and buying a key separately from the myvirtualchild site.

I have over 100%. Its easy, extremely easy. She gives you a study guide with everything on the test the first day. If this is all you had, you could easily get an A with an hour of a test. Looking up terms and being able to apply them to situations. If not, everything you need will be discussed in class.

This woman is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is clear, to the point, and delivers excellent lectures. She always has a smile on her face and is a wonderful person as well. I aced the class and you will too if you put just a little bit of effort into it. Anytime you have a question she answers it with pleasure. TAKE THIS CLASS!

She's awesome! I took her online 8-week course. Everything is organized and so easy to follow. If you're taking it online you have to have discipline and set time aside to do the work. Honestly it's so easy. Do the study guides you'll get an A for sure. She responds to emails fairly quick and she's very nice.

I took Professor Aida's online class and really enjoyed it. The class was intense with a lot of study and assignments involved but I learnt a lot and the material was presented in a fun way to make a highly theoretical class very interesting- even online. There were videos, articles to read and discussion papers to write along with the quizzes.

She's a sweet woman. The class is super easy. Take notes and read. The subject is super simple, I mean, it's elementary psychology for God's sake!

She is by far one of the best teachers at COD. She's super understanding and loves to give extra credit. Her quizes are really easy and her tests are just the quizes put together. She likes to tell you about her family, but likes to learn about her students as well.

I loved this developmental psychology class! I recently had a baby and I learned so much. She is an excellent online teacher. Everything is well laid out and organized. She posts a study guide and if you do that you'll get an A on the test. Very easy course! Would definitely recommend.

Go to class do work. Her quizzes and exams are based on her study guides. Easy stuff class activities of 15 points evry other day. Simply go to the class she is interesting too and want her students to learn. I loved her class 2 easy paper worth 50 points each. You don't need textbook only to do study guides. Easy A take her!

Her lectures are meaningful and super fun she doesnt go over things that don't need to be gone over. She gets really interactive too, so you actually understand what shes lecturing. but don't expect an easy A you have to show up to class and read to get the questions on the tests. overall an AWESOME teacher

She is an amazing woman, I was glad that I got lucky enough to have her as a teacher. She is so kind and smiley and sends off great vibes. I would not say her class is one you can slack in, but if you show up and do the work, it's a for sure A. She would do test reviews before the tests that made getting an A easy!

Mrs Wainwright is a great teacher. She is very passionate about teaching. She is one of those teachers who actually cares to get to know you individually. She's very friendly and she is a family mom. She's a good person over all never in a negative mood. I recomend you take her.

She is so helpful and makes sure you understand the topics. She uses good examples in everyday life to explain topics to us. She is funny. The tests are pretty easy, you need to use Connect in her class, but that actually helps alot for the tests. I definately recommend her!

Do all your homework on time! It will help your grade a lot! Homework is through McGraw-Hill Connect. It's a horrible way to learn if you ask me (you can cheat) but it's how she monitors where everyone is at. Homeworkclass participation points will help you keep your grade up if you don't do good on tests. Class is NOT bad. Teacher is pleasant.

Ada is a fantastic teacher!! She's very down to earth with her students. I failed psychology my first time and got a B with Ada. A good teacher really makes a huge difference and she is one of them. she cares to learn your name and get to know you. Just watch what you say to your peers before class, she's always listening. BTW she's cute to lol

I enjoyed my semester with Ada. She is a lenient grader, and she offered us an entire extra unit of work to make up points you might have lost during any of the other units, like if you forgot to do a discussion board post or didn't do so well on a test. Very nice lady!

She makes all deadlines clear from the start and you can typically work at the pace you feel most comfortable. If you have any questions, she usually gets back to you within a couple days. While there is a lot of material to read through, as long as you keep up and participate, if a situation arises, she works with you. Would take again!

I took General Psychology online with Ada Wainwright. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, I requested to join her class late, and she allowed it, and was very helpful the entire semester. She broke the weeks down, and made due dates, and requirements very easy to find. She is very accommodating.

Dr. Ada is very knowledgeable with her material. She is big on using Connect which is done online. It may seem like a hassle in the beginning, but it helped solidify what she teaches in class. She made learning easy by using day to day examples which I really liked. If you're shy like me, her group activities are not bad at all. TAKE HER CLASS! :)

Ada was very nice, gives clear instruction and offers extra credit. I took the class online and she responded immediately to emails. She grades your work once you've completed the entire unit, so if you want grades immediately, you will have to wait until the due date. I would take another class she instructs.

She is amazing and genuinely wants her students to get an A but you still have to work for it. There are readings and online quizzes due every week which are easy points. Her lectures are helpful and she is understanding in general. She has a humor and makes class fun. She gives ALOT of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of that.

I didn't enjoy the class at first, but as the semester went on, it got to be more enjoyable. The work load is kind of a lot, depending on how much effort you're willing to put in. I dedicated a lot of effort into the readings every week, and it paid off! Also, take good notes in class, a lot of things reoccur on the tests

This is 2nd class I've taken with her but my first online and she's just as helpful for online class as she is for campus class. She really cares about her students and teaching. If you don't understand something she doesn't hesitate to help. Every teacher could learn something from her. Over all she's a great teacher

Prof. Wainwright is very well respected at COD for her knowledge in psychology and now I know why. She obviously knows what she's talking about and well help you in anyway she can. There are weekly REVEL quizzes, the answers are in the back of the book, and she has multiple extra credit surveys. A really great experience for a Gen Ed class.

Wainwright knows her material very well. One of the most caring teachers out there. She gives you the grades you deserve. Her tests are mainly applications rather than definitions. Quizzes are online through Revel once a week. You really need to understand your material in order to do well on tests. Rarely any daily homework. Gives extra credit!

Online quizzes due at the end of every week. Lots of extra credit throughout the semester. Most of the classes were lectures, but there were a lot of times where we worked with partners or small groups on activities. Those were usually the examples that showed up on the exams. Exams are more application problems than definition questions.

This professor is the reason I got an A in my anatomy class. She taught me how to study. She will work with u but u can't expect everything to be handed down to you. She gives extra credit. FOCUS on the key concepts she uploads on BB since you will need them for your exams. Read the book and understand. Exams R easy if you study the key concepts.

This is my second time taking Professor Wainwright, this time I took her online. I do not regret it, this class was stress free and a great experience. Discussion boards and only 4 exams.

I wouldn't say she's a secure A, but for sure she'll make you work for what you want.

Tells lots of personal examples so you can better understand the concept. She is super fair and nice to everyone! Lot's of lecture but if you take notes they really help with the final. Tests were fair and sometimes she took time to review with us. If you read and do your homework you should be fine.

Her class was very boring but definitely helpful. During her lectures she explained everything well and provided lots of examples. The homework load is light.

She uses all of her online textbook for the homework and barely any outside resources. The one annoying thing is that she assigns these crossword puzzles that literally have no help to what we are learning. Besides that she barely looks at your grades because they're automated. Either way it was easy.

I took her hybrid class, so I only saw her once a week, but omg absolutely amazing. her lectures are to the point, the homework is pretty easy, and she is so kind. I loved her, absolutely take her class!!! she's so sweet and I loved listening to her lectures, and I fr learned in her class!!

I absolutely loved her. She was very clear on what was expected right from the start. We had homework every week but I thought it was very interesting and fun. Her lectures were also amazing. Everything she said was helpful when it came to doing the exams. Her due dates were always up to date , was never hard to keep up with the material. Take her!

She is absolutely amazing, only wants you to succeed. She is very understanding and her coursework is on the textbook and 1 chapter once per week but its not a lot of reading. I definitely recommend, as long as you do the work you should pass with an A.

I loved professor Wainwright! I wasn't big on taking psychology but she made the class interesting and fun! We got to learn new things that were interesting and relate them back to real life! The hybrid class was easy as long as you got all your work done and she is very forgiving when it comes to late work! Definitely recommend.

Dr. Wainwright is an excellent prof. She is caring, compassionate, and considerate. She was very quick to respond to email and was sympathetic when it came to giving students extensions. Dr. Wainwright is an excellent educator and an even better instructor. The course was very straightforward and easy to follow along and keep up.

This class was an easy to follow online summer course, everything that was expected was clearly laid out in the syllabus. The "textbook" is an online code that has all the course work in one spot which was convenient. Each module had a crossword and 2 questions to answer based on the reading and extra videos to watch. Great experience overall!

Very easy class took it once a week and honestly you won't miss much is you miss class. Very straightforward grading system and very helpful. You talk to your peers around you once in awhile but mostly you're on your own. Very easy homework assignments that are the same every week.

Every assignment is online, stay up to date with everything and it's a great class.

Professor Wainwright was the absolute best choice for General Psych. She clearly states all the objectives and gives clear lectures. Never tests on material not covered. Genuinely has a passion for teaching and lectures were never boring and were also informative at the same time. Highly recommend her for anyone.

I love this Professor! very kind and always available to help students succeed. It's an easy class as long as you do the reading and get work done before the deadline. My only complaint is that the deadline should be over the weekend instead of the middle of the week.

I took this class Hybrid and we had lectures once a week and one homework assignment weekly that usually took me about an hour. I would do it during class and she never minded. Her lectures are interesting and straight to the point. We had 3 exams throughout the whole semester. She takes attendance but it's not graded.

Prof Wainwright's class is pretty straightforward - just do the readings and assignments, and you'll be fine. While the lectures can be dry, Unstuck study was a lifesaver for reviewing concepts. Overall, it's a doable class if you stay on top of the work.

The syllabus was straight forward. You could work ahead if you wanted to. There is a lot of reading but easy to follow. She is prompt if you have questions or concerns via email.

Great professor. very low stress class, one assignment a week, wrote one paper over a month, and all exams were online. Had no final. Easy grader, clear instructions, and very reachable. She is understanding and cares for her students. No complaints, it was an amazing class. It can be easy to skip class, but still go because attendance is points.
