I went into A&P worried, but I loved this class with Professor Eiler. This is by no means an easy class- especially in summer. But he made the class interesting with hhis vivid explanations, very helpful, extra credit was offered on every test, truly study the notes and you can make an A

Do NOT take this professor! Tests are nearly IMPOSSIBLE! And I have a 4.0. His lectures are great but the content on the tests he gives is insane. Fill in the blanks with no word banks and some MC and Essays. If you're ONE MINUTE LATE TO CLASS you get points deducted for "professionalism". SMH overall, find another professor and thank me later!

Not even close to being a decent teacher. Incredibly hard test. Some multiple choice and fill in the blank with no word bank and test also includes an essay. Hard unexpected quizes. And that's not mentioning the lab exams made of 50 fill in the blank with no word bank or review. Take him if you like failing, lower your GPA and like wasting time

Not even close to being an okay professor. For the lab exams you have to study over 300 hundred words and only 50 fill be on the test... and there is NO WORD BANK. Avoid taking his class at all cost. If you take it you are guaranteed to fail. NO TEST REVIEW. you are on your own.

Mr. eiler class is the hardest class I've ever taken. 9 test total, 4 lab all fill in the blank withNO WORD BANK AND NO REVIEW. 4 lecture test 70 multiple choice, 1 essay and around 10 fill in the blank, NO TEST REVIEW. His lectures and overwhelming and very boring. Don't take his class if you want a easy or good letter grade.

Terrible teacher. Just terrible class. You might pass if this is the only class you take and have lots of free time to study. Test are out of this world hard. and the lab test are even harder.

No test reviews, doesn't put his PowerPoints on D2L so if I want info outside of lecture and lab, I'm forced to google it. No extra credit, tests are impossible, 80-90 questions for each. DO NOT TAKE.

Lots and lots of studying are required just to get a D. there is absolutely no way I would recommend this professor to anyone. Try your best not to end up with this professor. Test are impossible, No review and no extra credit.

Dr. Eiler is not a horrible teacher. In fact, he's a good teacher, he teaches in a way that causes one to think outside of the box. Yes, you have to study, yes you have to apply yourself as with anything in life. I'm currently in his class and I think these rating are a JOKE! nothing is handed to anyone. This rating is a joke! I am in Dr. Eiler's class this semester & LOVE his way of teaching. Biol classes aren't easy to start off with. It IS a lot of info but that is expected. No reviews for lecture exams but if you READ & STUDY your notes you will be good! Lab exams diff but MEMORIZATION is key. I am in his class again next semester for A&P II!

Dr Eiler has really taught me to love Anatomy and Physiology. he is one of the most brilliant professors I have ever come across. He really knows how to explain terms and he is so good with illustrations. He is also a very hilarious prof. A&P is generally a tough class, but if you are ready to work, your success is guaranteed. All of his lectures are online and can be printed out to use and take a few extra notes on. All of the lecture exams are based solely on the notes. I enjoyed the way he taught the lectures and lab. Lab had no lecture, he walked around and showed each table everything. He was a wonderful professor and I'm taking him for A&PII!

Its hard but could be easier. He makes it difficult with no reviews and a lot of info. He's not funny, just cheesy and corny. He's too hard not the class.

I had a well deserved A after studying, so my review is not a joke. its anatomy and physiology for crying out loud, do not expect everything to be handed to you on a platter of gold. Professor Eiler is a very brilliant profesor and I will take him again. He needs to improve on some areas , but he is not bad like some are saying here.

HE IS AMAZING! I walk out understanding and grasping the concept of what was taught. He doesn't post his powerpoints BUT he has an outline available and everything is on there and you take extra notes. he emphasizes topics that will be on tests. pop quizzes. labs are solely to learn about lab, no lectures. he is the best A&P professor ive had!!!!!!

Anatomy is a hard class but he makes it more difficult than it should. His lectures are very boring and that makes it hard to keep up. No reviews for any test, Lab test are very hard, lots of studying. If you're taking more than 3 classes I suggest you don't take him as your professor.

omg he is a darling! You really have to work in the class! Also if you work or skip classes, you're going to have a really hard time! I have made friends in his class because we formed study groups, this has helped us get 100% on our lab test!! You really need to work for the grade. Eiler is AMAZING!!! 1st of all, ALL A&P teachers have to give a 50 blank question lab test! At least he gives a word back to study from(most teachers don't) and teaches you how to identify things in the lab. He gives lecture notes you can follow, don't need the book! He explains how things work in detail. Take him if you are going into nursing!

All A&P classes are hard. Eiler gives you notes and study guide for lab test. His lectures are amazing! No reading the book, he teachers everything in class. His test are challenging , he makes you think and really learn the material. Great for the Hesi! He gives you everything you need to succeed. 4 test, 1 dropped, 4 quiz, 3 lab test. he is great

Dr. Eiler is an amazing professor. He is very organized during the labs and lectures. He makes complex topics easy to understand. Lecture and Lab exam grades get posted the same day or the next day in the morning. Get ready for pop quizzes. 4 lecture & 4 lab exams overall and a couple of bonus quizzes to boost you grade.

AWESOME A&P professor. One of the best professors in LSCC really. Tests are hard, notes are specific, and this class is not a lax one. However, Dr. E gives clear and concise tests. He has a true passion of this, and wants to help you understand. Real world examples and conversation are always a part of class.10/10 would take any biology w/ Dr. E

Dr. E is a real treasure for all classes he teaches. Taken for A&P1, A&P2, and microbio. Lec/Lab is intense and heavy studying is mandatory. Grading is clear, outlines for everything is provided, materials are there for you to A+ all prenursing classes. The haters that 1 star this prof just don't understand what college is!! DR. E IS THE BEST!

A&P is not an easy course to begin with, but Dr. Eiler does help you understand the material(don't be afraid to ask). Skip class & you miss a lot of info. Take good notes & read the material listed in the lecture/lab notes. He cares & helps as much as he can for you to understand the material. Definitely recommend him for all your bio classes!

I took him for both A&P I and II. He gives great lectures. Easy homework. Does give pop quizzes-not difficult if you review lecture notes. He is funny not boring. Gives extra credit on lab assignments/test. Reviews material with you in lab. In lab you do everything in groups. Take him you will not regret it.

This professor is great. His lectures are extremely thorough and you will be sure to understand before he moves onto any other topic. However, I took him for Anatomy 2402. This teacher is seriously underrated. He genuinely helps you out if he sees that you're struggling. I'd definitely take him again.

Great professor. Course is very challenging and you will have to work but he cares about your grades and will try to help you keep up. Extra credit is sparse but offered. unfortunately there are no exam reviews and the textbook is not helpful. Dr. Eiler is amazing. Everything you need to know on on your exams for lecture he literally gives it to you in class. You don't need your textbook at all. Definelty purchase the lab manuel however because it will really help. Other than that, there is no way you can receive less than a B in this class unless you don't show up. He's very helpful.

I loved this professors he's great and he made the class fun. He teaches by giving examples that we can relate to now in days. His lectures are not boring and is very helpful in all. He is very nice and wont pick on you gives great notes, power points, and handouts. Drops the lowest test and does give pop quizzes. Study and you will pass!

I loved Dr. Eiler. I had him for Biol 2401, wished I could have taken him for 2402, and will be taking him for 2420. Great professor, gives great lectures and is very entertaining. I feel like I learned a lot with him. The grade you get is what you earned. There is NO extra credit! There are also no papers :)

Dr. Eiler is honestly the greatest professor I've ever had! His lectures aren't boring at all, makes jokes along with his lectures. Can for sure get through the class without a textbook. Labs are always super fun and he's helpful in lab too. Pop quizzes are his favorite but usually he "warns" us before. TAKE HIM! You won't regret it!

Dr. Adam is a great professor, he makes everything easy to comprehend. He is full of energy and funny so he makes the class fun. Not much homework but be ready for pop quizzes. Test very straight forward but must study hard. Always essays on test.

He is a very good teacher, but is kind of hard. You really have to WORK for the A. But it's possible with dedication. He is super funny, lectures are entertaining but heavy. He is very helpful and always answers questions.

Doesn't get any better than this. This was an amazing proffessor, though he wasn't easy. The lectures were engaging, and he took a very hands off approach when it came to the labs. Though you don't need the textbook, you'll need the lab manual. If you have great self dicipline and are interested in the subject, then you'll do great in the class.

Dr. Eiler knows his stuff and not to mention his lectures are amazing! He is a tough grader, and you will need to work for the grade you want. Dr. Eiler was nothing short of amazing. I struggled with understating A&P and had to drop the class twice but with the way Dr. Eiler teaches the information everything connected. He gives tools like detailed study guides and powerpoints. If you take good notes and actually study there's no reason to get anything other than an A.

He really cares about his students. This class is tough and if you miss a class you will miss a lot of information. He explains his lectures very well. He also is accessible outside of class. Tests are hard, but pay attention during lectures, and study the material. He doesn't really give extra credit but you get homework to help with your grade.

You will not regret taking this professor! He is super nice and always make sure everybody understands a topic before moving on. Books are only really used in lab and there are few homework assignments as well as tests. There are few extra credit opportunities though.

Doctor Eiler is amazing! I also took him for A&P II and received an A as well. His classes do fill up quickly. A&P is challenging but he makes lectures very interesting. He provides plenty of opportunities to earn extra credits, warns you about most quizzes. Study the materials he covers in class and youll do well, no at home reading!

Don't think twice, if you need to learn anything related to science, take Dr. E's class. He is, by far, the best science professor you will ever find. Classes are straight to the point. He gives you all the power point material and class notes. Make sure you pay attention to his classes and read his class notes and you won't make less than an A.

This was my second time taking A&P2 due to dropping the first time because of a horrible professor. Dr. Eiler is very good at explaining things and relating it to real life examples that way its easier to understand. Hes very good at getting grades back quickly as well as answering back emails. He gives pop quizzes but those help.

I took this class along with A&P2, these classes are tough and require studying but Dr. Eiler made it easier! He gives lecture outlines that you can follow along with the slides in class. Being that covid happened during this time we were able to connect the class with it. Great at giving grades back quickly and answering emails in a timely manner

Dr. Eiler is the bomb!! He knows his material. A&P is challenging, so you have to study in order to pass. Makes you work for your grade and doesn'tround up. Miss class, you miss a lot of material. YOU MUST STUDY. HE IS VERY KIND, EXPLAINS VERY WELL, RESPONDS TO EMAILS FAST. GIVES OUT OUTLINES AND REVIEWS. HOWEVER ITS A CHALLENGING CLASS SUPER HARD NOT A WALK IN THE PARK.

BEST PROFESSOR FOR MICROBIOLOGY/ANATOMY1&2. I had to retake micro & A&P2 I got an A & B w/ Dr. Eiler. Few hw and quizzes, responds quick to emails, grades fast, ACTUALLY TEACHES & notes are an outline of the lect. During the pandemic half our class meets once a week in person for lab & to take tests its easy just study 4 lec, 2 or 3 lab, final.

TAKE HIM. He is the most amazing science instructor. Everything I learned in his class stuck with me and helped me TREMENDOUSLY in the Nursing school. He is very approachable and a fair grader. The class might be tough at times, but you will be grateful later, because it really goes a long way. Study and work hard and he will be there to help!

Professor Eiler is AMAZING. I wish I knew about him earlier for AP1. I took AP2 with him & I'm taking Microbiology with him next semester. Go to class! He is super friendly & approachable. He encourages questions & will answer them. You learn a lot from him. Taking photos of the histology slides in lab helped me study & do well on the lab exams.

Eiler was a very great professor. He is organized and good @ explaining the material. We had a small hw assignment & quiz weekly that are timed. If you listen to lectures & study it it will be close to impossible for you to fail even though the course can be a little difficult. Test can be difficult but his reviews are life saving! Solid professor!

Medical microbiology is not a walk in the park class, but taking this class with professor Eiler made it a hell of a lot easier. Test are hard but he tries his best to help you out. Im surprised he is not rated higher actually. Id imagine it is people not willing to put any effort into their grade.

Little homework, 10 question quizzes every week but the lecture notes almost guarantee a 100 on the quizzes! Lab exams are more difficult than lecture but he does his best to help you succeed! Loved Dr. Eiler! This class is challenging but very doable. He has weekly quizzes which really did help me prepare for upcoming exams. Overall, he is very accessible outside of class and open to all kinds of questions. He truly does care for his students and their success, I recommend.

Probably the best science professor you'll ever get, if not the best one in all subject matters in your student life. He is knowledgeable, caring, fair, and generous with his time (open lab almost every week). The class is hard - material wise - but Dr. Eiler makes it manageable, he is very clear of what he wants you to master. He loves teaching!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! He has amazing lectures, explains and answers questions. If you study you will definitely pass, he even has an open lab day before lab exams. Responds to emails fast. Follow along in class and make sure to study the material is not easy, but he will really teach you. Also he will give you advice about your pet since he's a vet!

This professor is really underrated. Some people mentioned pop quizzes, but he always tells us when the quiz is, so maybe he no longer does that. He drops one lecture test. He has printable notes online that you can annotate throughout the lecture & he's a rly fast grader. He gives you everything you need to be successful and the rest is up to you.

Granite, this course requires studying, but his teaching style allows you to understand the content even with little time to review. He is the best professor I've had my entire time in college!! Take him if you need an A for this course; do your part, and you will succeed in this class.

This professor cares about his job and his students. His replies to emails are the fastest I've seen and he is very involved. Dr. Eiler was a true educator as many can teach yet only a few genuinely care. I was spending a lot of time studying for his class but I am not complaining. It's interesting, it's useful, and it's relevant - major and tests wise. No second-guessing: Listen to his lectures, study his materials. When in doubt, ask! He'll be more than happy to answer.

Straight forward lectures but intense content. Use his open labs you have opportunity to ask lab or lecture questions. Spend a good amount of time preping for lab.

It was definitely a struggle to get to an A. This class requires LOTS of studying. The only extra credits were the coupon for a 100 on one assignment/quiz and the course evaluation for an extra 5 pts on the final. He only provides reviews for the lab exams and the final. He was a great professor overall.

Dr. Eiler is an okay professor, his lecture tests don't match his lectures. He does little to no guidance for his lab you are basically on your own. he offers some extra credit but nothing crazy 1-3 points and 5 for the final exam. I took him for AP1 and Microbiology would only recommend him for AP if you are willing to read in between the lines.

Definitely make sure that you have his detailed lecture notes every class period. Even though attendance is not graded, if you don't show up, you will miss out on a lot of information. When it comes to lab, he provides a lot of videos in D2L breaking down the lab models and dissections. You may want to use google for labeled histology slides.

Dr. Eiler, was the most caring,organized,and funny teacher I ever had. He made Micro fun. If you study his worksheet, and your notes from class you will pass. Attendance is must, if he repeats something twice it would be in the exam. A lot of the stuff that he covers in class will come back to you in the nursing program.

Dr. Eiler is the best professor I've ever met. He is funny, caring, compassionate, and great at teaching. He gives you everything you need to be successful, the rest is up to you. The content is hard don't get me wrong, but he makes your life easier by having detailed notes and ppt, explaining thoroughly, and having open lab Fridays for extra help.

I took A&P1 online before and really struggled. Taking Dr. Eiler's class was the best decision I've madeDr. Eiler is hands down the best professor! I struggled with A&P I online, but his class made everything click. He explains concepts clearly and makes learning fun. I'm so glad I took his class and can't wait to take A&P2 with him next semester!

I would definitely take his classes again. His courses are tough but truly teach you what you need to know to succeed. He is very clear with instructions and very helpful outside of class. He is quick to get back with emails, very helpful when I missed a few exams due to poor health, and a very fair teacher. And he's funny which is always a bonus.
