Very nice person, but his tests are hard and you have to study really hard, the good thing is he keeps you awake in class, and the lab practicals are easy so it brings your grade up

Dr. Eiler is a very good teacher. He definetally keeps your awake, and I agree when they say he reminds me of Jack from Will and Grace. He makes things very clear and interesting. I definetally recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Eiler is a great professor! He is a fun teacher and teaches well and clear, makes the course real interesting and comprehensible. But, his lecure exams are really difficult, very time consuming, you have to study really hard.

I loved his class! His tests are a little on the tough side but if you do the CD quizzes in BIO 1 and 2, most of his questions are from there. He also practically gives you the answers for the practicals. He's fun and energetic. Sometimes reads jokes to the class. Corny and witty at times.

Dr. Eiler is tough, but an awesome professor. He's very clear, very helpful and makes the subject even more interesting than it is. Be sure to download the notes and don't miss a class - tests are from his very thorough notes. Tough, but doable. A+

AWESOME professor. i'd recommend him to anyone. everyone is right though, those lecture tests are VERY diffficult, but they come dirrectly from the notes he gives you. labs are easy and fun, the tests come directly from the notes given. he keeps it direct and to the point, im takin him again for AP2

I thoroughly enjoyed his class. He lectures are straight off of his notes and I would definitely print them off to take additional notes in class. He is a pretty easy to talk to and ask questions. His tests are hard but passable. He's defintely eager to be there and I am taking him for another class.

Great teacher. Very thorough and explained things very well. Very helpful in labs and would go over material for lab practicals. Exams were tougher than some others, because they were not 100 percent multiple choice, but I learned more because of it.

Great teacher. so to the comment on 11/15. If you don't study you wont do well it goes for any college level course. He is a great help and loves his job and if you make a good impression on him yes he will give you that extra point you need. Take him hes great!!!!

The most prepared professor that I have had in a long time. The material is thorough and he does a great job relating the information to the students. If you don't pass his class then you didn't show up because he is readily available if you need help. If you study and prepare the exam reviews that he provides then you can easily make an A.

Yes you have to study...but this is college what did you expect? Gives notes off blackboard but need to attended class because he makes them clear. Study your notes and you will be fine.

Alright so Eilers class gave me panic attacks through out the year. I've spent probably over 200 hrs studying. BUT I got the A and he was hilarious in class, always helpful, and really tried to make the information understandable. But if you don't study you will fail. Oh and he reminds me of Jack from Will and Grace!

OMG he does remind me of jack from Will and Grace. hahaha! but yes, he is VERY helpful, and his tests are ridiculously hard, BUT he gives you everything you need, he writes down everything on the board unlike some teachers who use powerpoint which is so boring. Entertaining and VERY helpful. Have to study. DUH!

Anatomy is by no means easy. And people should not go in expecting an easy time.This guy is very knowledgeable, and he wants his students to demonstarte that they are knowledgeable and he wants they take your own initiative to learn. He will not spoon-feed you!

He was very helpful and I really enjoyed his class.

Hard teach, but very good. Had him for API and loved the class, taking him again for AP II.He's very animated and very helpful. Tests are NOT easy, but if you study the material, there's no reason not to get an A. If you have a question and he doesn't know the answer, he'll look it up and either email you, or tell you during the next class.

Great teacher. One of the best I've had at San Jacinto. Tough, but very helpful and you'll actually learn something if you are a serious enough student to do the work.

He is amazing! Definitely take him. So nice, very approachable, and never makes you feel stupid for asking questions. I learned alot of valuable info. He wants you to understand things as a whole and is never boring. A joy to go to class. Best professor ever, seriously.

i think mr eiler is extremely helpful and not at all partial towards white....im an asian n i took his teachers recommendations..u will learn a loootttt 4m him...his tests r not sooo easy but if u want to learn hes one of the best professors in sanjac. and very helpful

Excellent class. One of the best instructors I've had at San Jac. Lecture is presented in a very understandable way. The book was useful for support but was not absolutely necessary. Lab was great - Dr. Eiler was very hands on. Studying is a must because there is so much info in this class.

Forced to take class for nursing program, but ended up loving it! Learned aLOT!! He is great teacher...but his tests are hard!! (t/f, matching, fill in blank, etc!!)Study your notes!! Dreaded doing the cat dissection but was not so bad!!

A nice teacher & personable; He works w/you, answering ur ?'s. He draws visual diagrams very well - but extremely hard to keep up with; Tests r HARD; 1/4-1/2 of test ?'s r fill in, and multiple lengthy essays on each test.

I enjoyed the course because I have an interest in Anatomy. But, he makes the tests really hard. Paying extra attention in class is very important. His tests include a lot of stufs that are not on his notes. Tests questions are mostly based on the keywords (bolded, italics) from his notes.

Eiler is the correct spelling; no matter how you spell it, he is a great teacher. Tough, but very helpful; would do thorough reviews before exams and lab practicals; yes, he is a tough teacher, but if you pay attention and study, you actually will learn something. Exams were a mixture of MC, short answer, fill in blank, etc.

Dr. Eiler knows A&P bettr than anyone! Material to cover seems overwhelming. Tests do have lengthy essays. He is very nice, helpful, funny and makes class interesting. Must attend class, & STUDY!!

Dr. Eiler is awesome! His notes are very thorough & he's very detailed about explaining everything. He's really nice & has funny stories to go with everything to help you remember things better. I'm definitely going to take him again for A&PII & would recommend him to anyone. Plus he looks kind of like Bill Nye the Science Guy.. How cool is that?!

Human Anatomy & Physiology is not meant to be easy. If you study, attend lecture you should do well. I really enjoyed this professor. He is extremely dedicated to helping his students. : )

Excellent professor! The class is not easy, but the challenges he gives to his students are only to help them go above and beyond, especially when moving on to upper-level classes like in nursing school. If you study hard and want to learn as much as possible, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Eiler is a great professor!! To everyone who had negative comments about him either a) took A&P online (NOT SMART!) or b) shouldn't be in college. Yes you do have to THINK and you have to ENGAGE and yes you do have to STUDY, but Eiler is by far one of the best professors at San Jac. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDING!!

Mr. Eiler is not an easy teacher, if you want to learn then this is the class for you. He is detailed and if you don't understant he will try and help best he can. Don't expect not to do alot of studying. Try not to miss class. Look if you want to learn from the best get him if your just trying to find the easyest teacher then keep looking.

There are better choices. Lab tests are are a blank paper and you fill in the names, spelling counts! Lect is no problem print out notes and fill in blanks. test is from notes.

Dr. Eiler is a hard teacher, but an excellent one! If you need any of his classes as pre-reqs...take him! Put in the effort and you will be amazed at how beneficial his class is. I would be up a creek in nursing school if I hadn't taken him for Pathophys and AP II!

Dr. Eiler is an extremely detailed professor. If you really want to learn, he is really helpful. He wants everyone to succeed. If you do not study at all, don't expect any pity. His tests are NOT tricky and are from notes. You will learn action potentials = really understand body processes. If you are going into nursing, it is a MUST.

The class is difficult due to the material but he is very helpful and will help you any way he can. He can explain it in a way that you are able to understand it.

I took Dr. Eiler over the summer for A&P I and it was the best decision I've ever made! Yes, the subject is hard but he manages to make it more approachable. He is very helpful and loves to explain things further if you are confused on something. His notes are detailed and straight off Black Board. He will tell you the essay subject beforehand!

Dr. Eiler is an easy grader in my opinion because he gives bonus questions and bonus points on the final exam! You have to keep in mind that A&P is a hard subject. If you want to pass, you must attend lab and lecture regularly and STUDY STUDY STUDY. I was never the study-type student but I manage to make an A in his class so it is possible.

Dr. E. Is great! Love the class and he makes it worth going. Dr. E. is funny and explains in detail just study the outlines from blackboard. I will be in his class this summer for AP 2. Best to come in to class for learning! Test is off of lecture/blackboard notes, not book.

AWESOME teacher. Lots of charisma. Extremely helpful. Willing to spend hours with you one on one to make sure you understand course content. Pretty funny/entertaining as well. Gives extra credit opportunities. Tests aren't THAT hard if you study and complete his reviews. Definitely would recommend him to EVERYONE, but be ready to work for an A.

Really great, nice & entertaining teacher, but the class is still hard no matter how hard you study for it. I barely made a B on the class, and the only reason was because of lab where I made all A's on the test and on lecture tests I made 70's. Good Luck Everyone!

This is not an easy A course, nor was it ever meant to be. However, Dr. Eiler makes the material easy to understand, and even gives clever mnemonic devices for some terms. His lectures are fascinating and he is very clear on his expectations. Study hard! I will definitely take him for A&P2 in the spring.

Eiler is really amazing! great teacher, breaks things down real good, and is always willing to help you out when you have any questions. I would highly recommend him to any pre-nursing students! Only one thing i didn't like was that his test seemed pretty tricky so just beware of that. Over all really great!

If you have to take A&P 1 or 2... take Dr. Eiler! He is by far my favorite teacher thus far in college. He explains things in ways you can understand and is available for help or any questions you may have. The response below is correct, the tests are a bit tricky but as long as you study, and not just cram the night before you should be fine. :)

This is a tough class,no matter the teacher.I thought he was really fair.He includes 4 lecture tests,(lowest is dropped). Online homework(Connect) also counts as a grade(includes quizzes-lowest grade dropped).His tests do include essays.(he tells you which essays might show up) I learned and retained a lot from his classes, he was easy to follow.

A&P is hard no matter what teacher you take. I didn't do so well in this class cause i didn't study as much as i should have. He is very helpful and he is a GREAT teacher. wish i could go back and take his class over again

I honestly can't recommend Dr. Eiler enough. If you're looking for an easy class, this ain't it -- but he made the class enjoyable, fun, and informative. He gives you all the tools you need to succeed in the class, but you'll still have to work for it. The tests are thorough and tough, so be prepared to do some serious studying.

Anatomy is not an easy subject to begin with but he is such an amazing teacher. He's extremely helpful and fantastic in his lectures. You get the grade that you earn. Offers many extra credit opportunities. Great sense of humor. You can tell that teaching is a passion for him. My favorite professor in my entire college education.

GREAT TEACHER! Tests are difficult to understand, but over all if you love science and hard work you will love him! He is very helpful, and drops your lowest grade! You'd love him but you will have to work hard for your grade!! I got a high B!

He is very easy to listen to, but his tests are hard. It's not easy but prepares you for real life. You have to work hard and study hard, but you will feel a tremendous feeling of pride when you are done. He is always available to help.

Dr. Eiler is a great teacher! Yes, these are difficult classes, but he helps you understand the material & makes class very interesting. Don't miss class & take notes from lecture. His exams are mainly from lecture notes. You will need to study & apply yourself & attend Leslie's SI. Best teacher I have known so far! I made an A in both courses :)

teacher is very cool and easily approachable during times you need help however regardless your professor, this is a class that will require work.. he has notes you can print.. i took in a 5 week mini and got a B+ and worked hard but not my hardest.. i recommend this teacher

Very clear and helpful! He has by far over exceeded my expectations. He makes class very interesting and helps you along the way with possible essays and exams. Dr. Eiler is nice, very funny but sarcastic humor,caring & he tries to help you but his tests are VERY hard, the wording & what he's asking seems to be more on a graduate level of understanding. Expect to spend hours everyday studying in order to pass. I make As in everything else but not this one - hard! Not a good summer class choice

Attending class is a MUST. His online notes are helpful but it's best to write down your own notes as he hints what will be on the exam. Exam questions can be difficult to understand if one does not study the material. This class requires a lot of studying. A lot. he is very helpful.

Dr. Eiler is wonderful at what he does as a a teacher and a health care provider (for animals, of course), and his talent and expertise shines through. He can make the content relatable, understandable, and interesting. I would recommend him for any biology class for which he is available.

He is a great teacher. He tells you exactly what to print and goes over everything, stopping for any questions along the way. there is 2 books that you may need for this class but I got the handout (that you write in) only and I was fine. because this is a combined class exams are over certin chapters, as long as you look over the review you be ok

I enjoyed his teaching very clear and straight foward. He is funny so his lectures are not boring he tells you what might possible essay questions you need to study for this subject if you can everyday don't wait last minute you won't pass like that. I wish he taught a&p2 during the regular semester or any other biology class!

Dr. Elier is an amazing professor at San Jac! I took him for A&P II during summer I which is a tough course to take in 5 weeks. He is very helpful and straight forward about everything. Labs were so much fun and he will answer any question you can think of. If I would have taken his class in the regular 16 weeks, I would have gotten an A

A&P will be a hard course no matter who you take it with, but Dr. Eiler makes the lectures so much less dreadful by keeping an upbeat attitude every day of the year. He gives really funny examples to help you remember what you need to know. The book is used for A&P 1-2 so you should buy it. He posts notes online too! Taking him again for A&P 2.

Dr. Eiler was funny and he made some of the info easy to remember. I am not going to lie and say it was easy, studying is a must because he does pop quizzes. Things I liked :he gave the essay questions for the test early, the notes he gave you/took were pretty much what were on the test, and he gave extra credit for test

Took Dr. Eiler for Intro to Anatomy2404 and he was great! Extremely helpful, you can email him any time you have questions and he's happy to help during his office hours. He gives bonus points on each test which helps. It is a tough class but if you pay attention and study you will have no problem passing. He makes the lectures interesting.

He is the BEST. Loved introduction to A&P. I learned so much. ITS A MUST YOU TAKE NOTES. I did not take notes the first lec test and didn't study enough for the lab test and i did not pass. If you take notes and study them you will have no problem. I got a C, MY FAULT. I changed my way of studying and because of that i passed.
