Kind of looks like Larry from Perfect Strangers. He's kinda strange but makes you laugh and feel comfortable speaking in class.

Awesome teacher. Full of subtle humor and some not so subtle. Explains everything well. Reviews test material well. Offers extra credit if requested. All around great guy.

Best teacher ive ever had. discusses topics that are interesting to all and makes it fun. attend class and pay attention you are guaranteed at least a C. i usually do minimal in all classes and the minimum in this class would get you a B.

Great Prof. Knows what he is talking about, very funny, he makes alot of jokes. Brush up on your 80's hair bands! Clear to the point, most all of his notes in class are on the tests. Test are easy if you go to class. Good guy. Take Him!!!

Adam is a great professor. I enjoy going to class because the discussion is interesting and he makes it humorous along the way. Be sure to attend, though... all of the exam questions are usually covered in lecture. He's also very responsive and helpful :)

Epstein is just a great, fun prof. Has the dry humor down to an art, there are laughs in every class. Your graded on two papers (both 1 page long), and a few exams, which are very easy. Go to class and you'll get a great grade. Attendance is required.

This teacher is the cooliest I had him in TN and he ROCKS!!!

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! you will love it. Adam is just great. He explains everything very well and reviews almost all the questions that will be on the exam the day before. All you really need to do for this class, cuz u never get any HW, is 2 case briefs and 3 easy exams =)

Epstein is a great professor. He makes the class interesting and you're always laughing at his jokes. He teaches this course really well and if you study for the exams and do your case briefs you will get a decent grade. He does take attendance but his class is one you'll actually wanna be in.

Class was ok. Not what I thoughtfrom reading the posts on here though. His tests are LONG (70 questions). He always goes the entire class and we take notes the whole time, too. What's up with his pit stains though? I wanted to get the man a good anti-perspirant. Good guy though.

I looked forward to going to this class each week, he's an awesome teacher. If you want to have a good laugh and lost of fun take this class!He puts a lot of notes on blackboard which is really helpful and always answers any questions you may have.You'll be missing out if you don't take this class!

This guy is a blast, Ive never met someone with so many off the wall comments. His tests are pretty simple. He can get off topic for extended periods of time, but most of the time it is interesting. You cant go wrong with Epstein.

Loved being in this class. He was so funny and just has something about him that makes you want to marry him. He is a really good teacher and explains things really well. Papers are worth more than tests and they are really easy to do. I would definately say take him if you need the class.

A great teacher. An easy class. Our class was open book/notes. But... make sure you bring all notes from the class. He makes going to class fun and he will always respond to any questions you E-Mail him very promptly.

Take this class, sit in the front row and you can't go wrong. Great teacher, so helpful, so much fun, lecture was rarely boring! Takes attendance, but you won't want to miss. Just be careful about disagreeing with him on the first day...especially about Soldano v O'Daniels...tends to you you for a week or two after arguing with him :-) but forgives

Epstein is the man. He has so far been my most fav. professor at CMU, and I even took another one of his classes just because I needed the credit and knew his class was amazing. TAKE SPORTS LAW (BLR227), amazing class ..

awsome prof. my fav so far and i am a senior this year. take him for any class you can. i hope he teaches another class that i can take. dont bother buying the book just go to class everyday and get his notes. i didnt use the book for any of the 3 classes i had him for. i had him for BLR 202, 302 and 337.

Sports Law is a very interesting class because you basically follow sportscenter and discuss sports in class. Alot of material, tests are open everything 130 questions in 1hr 15min. Not bad but you need to study. Great Professor.

He's no Dr. Coffey, but then again who is. I would take one of his classes again as long as Dr. Coffey wasn't teaching the same course. Remember attendance is mandatory, but the class is pretty easy. Just remember to show up.

He's a good professor, but with the raved reviews I guess I expected something wonderful. He sometimes gets completely off track when some random thought pops into his head. I'd probably take him again.

Very fun class. We watch youtube videos before he goes over the powerpoints. Exams are open book too.

Great teacher, take notes and attend class. Open book test and some questions come directly from actual text website. Reminds me of Robin Williams. Easy going class, enjoy it!

Epstein has mastered the art of teaching! The only class I enjoy being in. Its like going to see a comedian but in the end you come out smarter!

He is not like Robin Williams at all robin williams isnt even funny did you see photo shop or whatever? You probably fell asleep too, anyways you wont fall asleep in this class, but the tests are no longer open book. Just study the power points and you will be good. The book is smaller not sure about the author he might be a little old school.

Had him in TN. I just finished degree at University of Wisconsin and never had a teacher that could compare to him. He has written some great books since then too. Glad to see he is doing so well. He has incredibly charming personality. Take his class any chance you get. Great teacher!

Adam is by far one of the best professors I have had while at cmu. He makes class so interesting and entertaining. I took this class during the summer so notes and the book were allowed to be used on the exam, however I don't know if that is true during the regular school year. I would definitely recommend taking any class with Adam!!

he is amazing!! funny, charming and totally down with youtube. Take him for anything you can. ex.(SPORTS LAW) Class is not mandatory but you will benefit on tests by coming. Print off powerpoint slides.

I loved this class. I am not even gonna lie i kinda have a crush on him. He is so so funny in a cute way. I dont even like sports i just took this class because he was teaching it. I recommend it to everyone.

Pretty easy class if you study the book & ppt slides. 3 M/C exams about 80-90 ?s. Some in-class quizzes, but open book/notes. Chapters in book are short - only 3 pages. Minimal hmwk. He makes the class interesting. Nice guy & nice class. Highly recommend.

Adam is marvelous. He is a truly gifted professor. I have had him for two classes and I wish he taught more. I have learned so much from him, and it is so nice to see someone who sincerely enjoys their work. He has a clever sense of humor and always makes class fun to attend. He's totally charming and witty...and quite attractive. Top shelf.

He is amazing. The class time goes by so fast with him, definitely doesn't drag on like most classes. He explains things really well and makes class really interesting. I loved his randomness, its hilarious. He has a sexy accent and is real attractive, really does make you want to marry him lol..i wish i had a reason to take him again

Wonderful instructor! He made the summer session go by so quickly with his humor and great examples. Class was only 6 weeks, but I learned more from this 6 week course than I have with any other BLR course. If you have an opportunity to take a class with Adam Epstein, DO IT! You'll love it :)

TAKE HIM if you get the opportunity!! Had him for Summer class, and we learned a lot of material in a short amount of time, but he made class interesting and fun. You will always leave with a smile on your face. BY FAR BEST professor I have had at CMU. He has a great gift, and you can tell he really wants you to succeed. Very charming also :)

Absolutely loved his class! He is a great professor. Attendance isn't mandatory but you'll want to go to class anyway. He makes learning the information fun. Talks about RATT a lot and shows funny videos to go along with the material. Don't buy the book - I didn't even open it. The material is all on PP slides on BB. Pretty easy class.

He is a great teacher, totally interesting. You can tell he loves law and it makes his students want to love it too! Has great humor!

He teaches at a level that satisfies the lowest common denominator but yet is entertaining to the rest of the class. Amazing professor that shows great passion for his field and pop culture =). The book wasn't always needed, just take good notes. Attendance not mandatory but you'll never regret going!

Probably the best teacher at CMU. He actually does his job and helps us understand things, and doesn't look down on us like all the other teachers, because we aren't successful yet. CMU should hire more like him.

This class was awesome. Law of agreements sounds awful, but the prof makes it interesting. No textbook, only powerpoint slides. If you go to class and pay attention you really don't have to study for quizzes or exams. Enjoyed the class.

Professor Epstein has and will be my favorite professor at Central Michigan. He truly loves what he is teaching, and knows how to get the point across. A cheat sheet is allowed on every quiz/exam, and no book is needed. He is definitely a professor that everyone needs to have before graduating!

Take this class if you can, professor genuinely cares about students and wants you to do well and will do everything possible to make sure that happens. Allows cheat sheets on exams. Go to class and you should have NO problem getting a high B. Funny guy, actually wanted to go to this class he makes the material enjoyable. Don't need the book.

Esptein is great, hes attractive too :) He puts his powerpoints online so you dont have to go every class period. He makes the information easy and is a great professor. he cares, and lets you use cheat sheets on everything. TAKE HIS CLASS.

He was an amazing professor. Try to take both his contracts class and sports law. Contracts is not usually an entertaining subject but he made it fun and interesting. Now that I am in law school, I still remember all the cases he taught us and his class has helped me so much in the intro to contracts class in law school. Best professor I had by far

This guy really isn't that great. Yeah his class is easy for the most part and he will save you money by not having you buy the book. Only take if you want an easy class.

Take this class with Epstein, and ONLY Epstein. It is beyond obvious that he loves his job, and shows it everyday. He makes all the material easy to remember, does not require a book, and posts all the power points online. He allows cheat sheets for almost every quiz and exam also! He is always willing to help, and makes the lectures so fun!

Easy class, can use front and back cheat sheet on exams, fun lectures, interesting material. By far greatest class I have taken here at cmu!

He is the best teacher on CMU's campus. He wrote the text book for the class (its optional) and he has real world experience representing olympic athletes. Take any class this man teaches, you won't be disappointed.

Class is based solely on quiz and test grades, but you are well prepared for them in advance

Interesting lectures and great real-life applications of business law. Take home quizzes quite frequently and exams are not too bad.

Dr. Epstein is by far the best professor I've had at CMU. He adds the perfect amount of humor to each point in his lectures so that everything is easier to remember. Classes always turn into discussions without force or encouragement because he makes class interesting. If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes do not turn it down.

Adam is the best professor I've ever taken, he cares about the success of his students and will provide you with above and beyond everything you need to succeed. He is incredibly knowledgable about Sports Law and easily should not be teaching at CMU, he should be at a Harvard or its equivalence. Just an incredible human.

He is the best professor around and I really wish I had him for all of my classes. He offers many take-home quizzes which are a bonus and the exams are not hard at all. He brings candy every day so that's a perk. He is very passionate about the subject since he actually is a lawyer himself. Nothing about this class is hard as long as you follow him

If you are looking to take BLR, not as a WI, I would highly suggest Epstein regardless of the time of the class. He lectures with powerpoints during class times and keeps the class well engaged. He often makes stupid yet funny jokes about the material and it sticks in your head. Around 7 quizzes with 2-3 exams which are pretty easy if you study.

My favorite professor so far at CMU. He is always willing to answer questions, keeps class interesting, keeps you updated on your class grade even though he doesn't use Blackboard, and offers many take home quizzes to help you out. Make sure to pay attention in class, but you won't have any trouble with his engaging and funny lectures. Awesome guy!

Unreal professor, very willing to engage, makes students feel as if they all rank in the top percent. Relates many topics from class to outside real life circumstances, despite subject matter being slightly monotonous, makes lectures engaging and fun, never a dull moment, highly knowledgable.

Professor Epstein was the best professor I have ever had in my college career. Professor Epstein is a great guy who cares about each student. You need to study for his class but he makes it very clear on what is on each quiz and exam. The book is not necessary so do not buy it! Take Professor Epstein if you can you won't regret it.

So funny and entertaining, best prof I ever had. Class topics were fun and interesting, it is lecture heavy but in the best way. The grading was very fair, would take again.

Class is not mandatory and all slides with information are put on blackboard. Exams are easy but make sure you study the reviews and go to the review class periods to get an A. Super easy class and lectures are entertaining, great professor.

I have taken Professor Epstein for business law, contract law, and sports law and he is by far the best professor I have ever taken. He provides every opportunity for students to understand the information and succeed. He doesnt require a textbook or attendance. His lectures are more entertaining than any other lecture I have been too.

Although his class can be boring, he is a fun professor. As long as you study a day or two before the exam you will do fine in this class. His quizzes are open note as well.

I took sports law with him a few years ago. Great professor, really knowledgeable about all things law. Offers a very unique perspective on sports law due to his other work at CMU. He's funny, accessible, makes good powerpoints, and gives out candy in most classes. Highly recommend any class he teaches

I really enjoyed his lectures. He was very funny and always gave me a good laugh. His lectures were very light and not boring at all. If you're like me and hate lockdown browser take professor Epstein. None of the quizzes or tests were on lockdown. I would suggest just paying attention which is easy when the material is interesting and take notes

Make sure you take notes on the lectures and pay attention to what he repeats - this will be things on the exam. Super helpful and gave out candy to our class during lectures.

Amazing professor! I never wanted to wake up for the class, but the second I walked into the classroom it was fun. He finds ways to incorporate examples into his lectures which helps students understand the concept more. He's also REALLY funny and gets students engaged with the topic. Take him for a class! ... and connect with him on LinkedIn!

I'm not sure how he did it, but he made law fun. Just go to his lectures, take notes, and you'll get an A or B. Class is only "hard" because it's a lot of legal terms you need to remember for the exams. But honestly, if you're a business major, you should be learning a lot of these laws anyways, they're very useful to know.

He was honestly the best prof ive ever had. the quizzes are all online and almost weekly and you only go to class once a week. he makes videos for you to watch at home for the other day and they are super short. super awesome lectures and very caring. the exams are not hard if you print out his slides. he gives you everything you need to get an A.

I took this class online, and it felt like I was in the classroom! The professor is very accessible outside of class, and provides several resources so you can learn the way that works for you. Beware the seven week class is a lot of work especially right at the end, but if you pay attention and take good notes, it is an easy A.

This professor was absolutely amazing. There was only one quiz per week and then we had 3 exams. He gave so many resources to help if you ever get confused on a specific topic. I am telling you, take this class online with this professor and you will not regret it!

SO EASY!! Class was online for 8 weeks, we had online lectures which were very long. However he is a great person and very easy to contact. Exams were not proctored online, take this class!!

Professor Epstein made this class enjoyable. Lectures are informative, and quizzes/exams are manageable if you attend class and use resources like unstuck ai for study prep. Highly recommend taking his courses.
