Adam is AMAZING! Great teacher! lucky if you get him. He always helps you if you ask! Makes everything clear and wants you to succeed. I would love to have him again.

Adam is an amazing teacher! You can tell he truly loves his work. I had him for 126 and made sure to get him for 127. I hadn't taken a math class in several years and he made these classes bearable and approachable. Anyone taking math 126 or 127 would be lucky to have him. Greatest math teacher, honestly.

Wonderful teacher! He is 100% committed to helping his students succeed. I wasn't super interested in math before taking his class but now I'm considering minoring in math because of him. He's also understands that most of the people in his class aren't math majors and takes the time to not only explain concepts, but apply practical uses. AWESOME!

Adam is honestly the most amazing math teacher I have ever met! he is not only helpful but he wants u to pass.... The final exam is extremely hard and even going into the final with a B there is a way to still not pass... Do well in the beginning and go into the final with the highest grade you can get!

Probably one of the best professors I've had! He's very organized, straight-forward, and helpful. He will outline everything you need to know for quizzes and exams, clarify any confusions you may have, and solve any difficult problems for the class. Pick him if you can! There's probably no one else as fun and easy to understand.

Class is not easy, but Adam is enthusiastic & helpful. Well-prepared for lectures. Explains well & does not skip steps when doing examples - a HUGE plus. Provides notes with explanations that are easier to follow than the book. Highly recommend. Read material ahead of time, attend office hours, tutor lab, & review sessions for maximum success.

If I could have Adam as an instructor for every math course I have to take I would be psyched. He loves math and loves teaching, his explanations were easy to understand and he is always available to help out in office hours. Take math from this guy.

Koebke is THE BEST teacher I've had while attending UNLV. He's so passionate and enthusiastic about his subject that it's contagious. The fact that he would do anything for his students to learn encourages mostly every student to do the best they can. If you can take him, DO IT. It'll be your best chance at passing math if you're not a fan of it.

Adam is such a good teacher I hired him as a private tutor for my other math classes during different semesters. He really helps you understand the material when other teachers just confuse you. He loves his job and it really shows in how he treats his students

Adam is a great instructor . When he does examples on the board, he explains it so well that you really understand it. & I like that he does multiple examples during class, he doesn't just do one example & then say "Alright, next topic." He takes the time to really make sure his students understand everything. & he's really really funny haha.

In addition to the 3 tabs in Sec. 7, these should also be included: expect homework, hilarious, clear grading criteria, and would take again. You want Mr.K. The notes are clear and easy to understand. Everything is done step by step from start to finish and he does not mess up often. He makes math enjoyable and you will want to learn more.

I took Koebke's class as an 8 week course in the fall and let me tell you he is one of the best math teachers I've taken. Math has never been my best subject, but he knows how to explain things clearly and makes it much easier. He is willing to help. Most of the homework was done in class online, we have a few 5 question quizzes. I recommend!

Adam is one of the best professors I have taken. Always takes the time to make sure the students understand and makes learning math not as painful. Definitely recommend! Do the online homework as they are very similar to the tests. Do the hw and you'll have a good chance of passing

No matter what subject Adam would teach, I would take his class. He not only cares about his students success, he takes the time to truly teach everyone. He made math not only interesting but fun. Adam is the BEST math teacher for any course level! you won't regret taking him! homework is due every Sunday. You need the online math course Hawkes to do assignments. He teaches easy enough for you to understand and if you don't, he will not move on till everyone understands. His door is always open to past students to help on other math courses.

Completely changed my perspective on math in its entirety. He makes sure you understand the material, and his lectures never seem like they are dragging on. He makes you excited to come to class everyday. Honestly, if you show up and pay attention there is no doubt you will pass this class with flying colors!

This professor is really caring and has fun lectures! He's very passionate and I was in his pilot test class over the summer. I will take him in the fall because he made math easy and enjoyable! He always knew how to answer questions at different angles for everyone to understand. His lectures aren't that long and he's always on point withclass.

Best Math Professor at UNLV, actually best professor at UNLV. He really cares about seeing his students pass. Show up to every class he assigns mini projects that make up a considerable part of the grade. Review days really prepare you for the exams. Not too fond of the group projects but I see why they are used. Overall Great Great Guy!

If you hate math, he'll change that. He did an amazing job at breaking down the math and explaining why and how you did things. I should've been in a higher math class when I took it so it was easy for me to begin with but I watched lots of other students understand the work.

As a student who HATED math and thought it was very hard, Professor Koebke changed that! He makes math VERY fun and understandable. DO NOT WORRY about pop quizzes! He informs the class a week in advance about ALL quizzes and tests so we have time for study. He also assigns projects to help improve grades, and has in-class study days for exams.

It's easy to tell that Adam loves what he does. His lectures aren't usually super long, and he makes sure to do enough examples until you really understand the material. He will always tell you what is and is not on the tests. Study guides are provided, and he'll have a review day before the test. Super chill guy. Take him if you can!

His lectures are very easy to understand. I didn't like math until I got to his class, he's very caring and willing to meet outside of class. You don't HAVE to get the textbook, but you'll get more credit if you do. However, if you take notes during the lectures then you'll do fine on quizzes and tests.

Adam is a fair and caring professor. His lectures are easy to understand, and quizzes and tests are nearly the exact same as his study guides. He can be easily contacted outside of class for extra help. I hate math, but I havent dropped below a B at any point this semester.

Excellent professor. He gives the clearest instructions on how to complete the math problems given. He restored my faith in the UNLV math department. 8 mini projects with instructions, 3 big projects (really simple) with instructions, 4 exams that he preps you for so well. Respectable guy with a bright future.

I took his class during the fall of 2017 and it was amazing. He is considered one of the best professors I have ever had. The class consisted of weekly online homework (very easy), mini projects and questions done with small groups. He also reviews before the exams to make sure we are ready. Overall, cares about our learning and how we do. AMAZING!

AMAZING. His class was super easy to understand and he was so great at making sure you really understood the topic. Actually cares about his students and their grades. A couple girls in my class went in together to do a tutoring session together at like 7am. As long as you keep asking questions and coming to class, you'll pass.

Koebke is very clear and will remind you of upcoming assignments. You will never be sucker-punched. Anyone can do math, but it takes someone special to TEACH it. He's a great TEACHER. You will find it easy to understand a problem because he makes it easy for you. You are in good hands with this professor.

Adam was the best math teacher I have ever had. I really learned a lot from him and I hardly had to do anything in the class to pass the exams and the class with an A. He goes through the problems, step by step, and makes math easier to understand. He teaches you real life problems that you can use math to solve them! (Financing, renting, etc...)

Always been awful at math and then I took Adams class. Adam made math easy and understandable. There are 3 major exams plus the final and then he would also have 6 quizzes to do. Homework was easy and online, so no textbook required.

Awesome teacher. He is very clear about how the course is graded and genuinely cares that his students learn the material. All of the homework is done on my math lab and is easy enough if you watch his lectures. I feel confident going into Math 120 after taking his 95 class.

I had taken him for both 95CX and 120CX. Mr. Koebke can be easily contacted. There would be multiple attempts for each mini-project and has video examples for each chapter. I suggest that you don't forget to do MathLab assignments since it is part of the grading criteria. He is approachable as he has math lives in which students could ask questions

Learning math online during a pandemic was terrible but Professor Koebke made the best out of the situation. He truly wants you to learn the material and pass the class. Math is not my strong subject but he held zoom meetings for exam reviews to answer questions and was always available by email. 10/10 would recommend.

Professor Koebke is really helpful, easily reachable if you have a question, and hold live zoom classes twice a week where you can ask questions. This was an online class. Make sure just to follow how he has everything listed in canvas and you will do just fine.

As far as class work goes there were 4 exams and 4 big projects (Which you were given tons of time to do the projects) there were also mini projects, homework assignments and reading checks.

He is a phenomenal professor & genuine person. He does have a textbook, it's not needed. He's always easy to reach and cares for his students. Lectures were a little fast, but you can take pics of the notes after. Class wasn't too difficult; some sections were a little hard, but nothing too scary. The homework wasn't bad, with few long assignments.

This guy is GREAT, one of the most phenomenal professors I've ever had. He's made math so much simpler than it seems and it's very clear that he wants to see his students succeed. His lectures go by quickly but he's always available after class for questions and such. His exams are also very simple and straightforward, just study and you're good.

Professor Koebke was honestly one of my favorite professors of the fall semester. He is very engaging, easy to talk to, and very passionate about the success of his students. The class goes by really fast but that's something he can't really help or has much control over. Ask lots of questions and always stop him to review something!
