Dr. Lawrence is extremely thorough. This means a heafty work-load, but also, a clearer understanding of the content. I'm very glad I took this course. I recommend it to anyone who plans to do graduate work.

Adam is a great guy. It's the one class this semester I really enjoy going to. The class is supposed to be one hour and fifteen minutes, but he has never kept us that long. It's usually just one of your 50 minute classes. The class is easy, the man is funny, he enjoys his job. Take him? Yes indeedy!

Stays fairly unbiased and keeps the subject interesting. Write in as much detail as possible during quizzes and tests are not a given, STUDY. Book readings are helpful. Willing to spend his offic hours discussing any questions you have.

Great professor! Fairly easy class. Reading the assignments will make the test easier than they already are. This is a writing course so he puts a couple easy essays on the tests and assigned a 10 page paper on any president. Grades easily and provides helpful feedback.

Professor Lawrence is the man. He actually makes the notes interesting, and switches things up to videos, etc. so youre not always doing the same thing. He's extremely helpful, always will clarify as much as humanly possible, and he's a funny guy. Always willing to go the extra step to help students. Definitely take him if you have the chance.

Sooo nice and funny, can relate to students so well, and lets us out of class early almost every day, once let us out a full 45 minutes early. He's just an overall cool dude, def take him if you have a chance, he's awesome.

Class was pretty easy. Just read and go to lectures. Some of the questions he puts on the test seem trivial, so be ready for that. Funny guy. Always tries to make lectures fun. Take him. You will learn a lot and have a good time.

I think that he is pretty much the best freaking teacher this school has. He's sooo funny and you'll learn a lot. He grades tough, especially if you suck at grammar. But i would definitely suggest that you take this class, cause he's amazing.

I've had him a couple of times, he is a great professor. Very humorous, keeps things entertaining. Does his best to be neutral and takes shots at both sides politically. Multiple Choice on tests is harder than many classes, and if you don't like or don't write papers well don't take him for a class where you'll need to, but probably my fav. prof.

He is extremely fair, well prepared, and very knowledgeable of his profession. I recommend him for any student interested in government. He is one of the top two professors in the government department.

You can tell he enjoys what he does. He makes class interesting, he lets you out early a lot, his tests aren't that hard if you use the study guide he gives you, and read the selections. Read about the questions on the study guide and you'll get nothing lower than a B.

The class I had him in was "Political Research Skills and Methods." He somehow managed to make it interesting. Probably the best prof I've ever had. If you are willing to work, I'd highly recommend him.

Dr. Lawrence would agree that this semester was pretty messed up. He is very fair and helpful to students. He kept class interesting, even the boring and dry material. Dr. Lawrence is also VERY fair. His exams are a little tricky, but if you study a lot you'll get atleast a B-. I would definitely take another class with him again.

He enjoys his job and the class is a breeze. There are three exams and six quizzes, all of which are multiple choice. Just do some studying with his review sheet and the textbook, and you will do fine.

Dr. Lawrence is, quite simply, the man. He is energetic, passionate, and knowledgeable about political science. I came into this class not really knowing what to expect, just completing a general education credit... I came out of it as a declared Government minor. He also lets out early almost every day, which is awesome! Take him if you can!

Dr. Lawrence is by far my favorite professor at MU. He's really funny and he keeps class interesting. You do use the book to study for the exam and the quizzes, but a lot of the material comes from your notes so be precise! Also don't skip the online quizzes they are easy points that really add up and some of the question are on the exam.

Lawrence is a great prof! He makes class interesting. If you read the chapters and study the study guides for the exam you will be fine.

He is extremely engaging and a great teacher. He loves what he does, for sure. However, you HAVE to go to class and you have to study. You can't slide by in this class. But if you do that, you'll do well. He like always lets you out early, too. Classes are usually only 30-45 minutes instead of 75.

Mr. Lawrence is one of the best professors I have had so far at Millersville University. Do not forget to take the quizzes, that is where I messed up. He is funny and makes the material more interesting. If you need help, he is available via email and office hours. The book will make the tests easier. I would recommend this class and professor.

Funny guy that knows his stuff. Sometimes class takes advantage of his laid back nature to continually interject with their own stupid tangents, he's pretty good at shutting this down but he can only do so much, other than that the lectures are a delight. Just don't be annoying and you should learn a lot in a fun way.

Lawrence is probably the best professor in the Government department. That being said, Political Research Skills & Methods is by far the hardest class I've ever taken, and he demands maximum effort out of you. This is definitely one of those classes where you earn the grade you get. He's difficult, but if you grind it out, you'll do fine.

Lawrence is honestly my favorite professor of all time. If you pay attention to his lectures and take good notes you won't need the book. He also throws funny answers that you know aren't right on tests and quizzes to help relieve stress. He usually also asks you to draw how you are feeling on top of your paper. By far one of the best professors, exams are a little tricky but once you get a study method down they get easier, the quizzes and study guides help! Dr. Lawrence is one of my favorite professors at MU. He really wants everyone to pass and is super easy to talk to. Take advantage of his office hours/quick responses via email. A lot of this class is information we learned in high school, but Lawrence knows how to make it interesting and funny. Highly recommend taking him no matter your major.

I have taken multiple classes with Adam now, and here is how I describe it-- If you had no clue that you were walking into an academic environment and happened to stumble into his classroom, you would probably sometimes think that you just walked into a comedy sketch rather than an academic lecture. Literally one of my favorite professors. Classic.

Dr. Lawrence is awesome. All the material on the quizzes and tests are things discussed in class but I recommend reading the book as well. This is the class I looked forward to most during the week. You will laugh in this class!!

Loved the class so much I recommend him for anyone. Makes the lectures very understandable and relatable. always open to questions and quizzes are open notes. Tests were all multiple choice and relatively simple if you even skim the readings. Be wary though for the book since it is actually not needed new.

Definitely one of the caring professors on campus, with a relaxed and hilarious attitude with a fairly informative class, the class consists of 2 exams, a group project and presentation and quizzes sprinkled throughout the semester(you are made aware of the dates).

Not much more I can say that hasn't been said. I don't think it's possible for anyone not to like him. I wish he was my Dad.

You will regret it if you don't take him. The class consists of 10 quizzes, 3 exams, and 1 paper. The paper was decently tough to write since you have to cite everything, but overall an easy but informative class. Lawrence is the best prof at MU.

He lives up to the hype! Almost every question on his exam is application-based questions rather than simply conceptual questions. So, you need a deeper grasp of the concepts besides surface level understanding. You will do fine on lab projects as long as you follow the samples he provides. You will learn a lot of useful things from this class!

Easily one of my favorite professors. You can tell he cares about what he teaches, and the course material is very clearly delivered. He's very easy to reach outside of class, wants to help, and is overall a good human being. On top of that he's a fair grader and rarely fails to make me smile. Do yourself a favor and take something offered by him.

Lawrence is a great professor. He got straight to the point in his lectures and would explain the concepts in understandable ways. Another plus is that he would almost always end his lectures 20-30 mins before class was supposed to be done. Would definitely recommend.

I hope Dr. Lawrence reads this. I had him during Covid. His class was the most normal online class I had. Though sitting in front of a computer and pretending we were in a lecture hall was not the dynamic I experienced. As long as you were in the zoom and able to participate you were good. He is fair and cares. The man is the greatest of all time.
