He doesn't put his lectures online so you need to go to class, but he's an amazing professor who's passionate about what he teaches which makes it exciting to learn. He does a clicker question every day to take attendance, which counts as extra credit. Gives you a study guide for every test w exactly what will be on the test. Highly recommend him!

He's and excellent professor. He's one of the only ones I've had that makes me enjoy going to class because his teaching methods are entertaining and easy to follow. His test are easy and the class is overall pretty easy because he makes you want to pay attention!

Adam is a great professor. He makes it easy to learn IF you attend his lectures. Attendance was not required but he gives extra credit if you attend. The exams are what you expect for the level of the course. But the quizzes are easy since you get three attempts. No papers to write and no group work!!!

Honestly the best professor I've had in college- Adam is such an amazing professor and always wants to see his students succeed. His lectures are VERY interesting too, so I look forward to going to class. After our last lecture last week, he had a number of kids waiting to shake his hand and thank him for being such a great professor, GREAT!!

I've had Mr. Laz since high school and he has always been a fantastic professor. His lectures are helpful and his tests are fairly easy if you show up to class. He relates the material to students very well and he is always available for questions. Overall an easy course if you show up to class.

By far the one of the best professors I've had at the UA freshman year. He makes the class fun, and gives extra credit mid-semester. Tests aren't too hard if you take notes and go through the quiz questions. The quizzes you can take 3 times and he'll take the best grade. No group projects or papers. You get your grades back quickly. Funny guy.

Definitely one of the best lecturers in the Psych department at UA. The lectures are always engaging and informative. Quizzes online before each exam, 3 tries to take each. Multiple choice tests, doesn't try to trick you. Overall, the information is presented well, I feel like I've learned a lot. Definitely love the class. Textbook not necessary!

A very good professor. He is clear and to the point. Cares for the students and if I had the chance, I would definitely retake the course. He loves what he teaches and is good at it. Unlike my other instructors he responds very quickly to all of my emails!

Mr. Laz is the BEST. My favorite teacher in all four years of college. The only time I really needed to use the book was when I missed class, but he makes the lectures so great you actually won't want to ditch. I liked him so much I took three of his classes - actions speak louder than words.

I feel like this class should be mandatory to take in every major because it relates to every individual and will teach you about why people behave the way they do. Just show up and take good notes and the class should be easy for you. He gives plenty of extra credit. The quizzes and exams aren't difficult if you showed up to class. Lectures will make you laugh at times and you will learn. I only had one lecture where I felt it ran a bit long. At the end of the day he is one of the best instructors.

The tests definitely require you to study; however, he provides study guides online which include everything that will be on the test.

Such an easy class. Just go to lecture, read the text and review often. You might pass with a B if you just read the textbook and review the study guides. This was his first time teaching stats, but it was my second time taking it. This class was so much easier than previous professors. Don't get the book, he uses "Mystatslab" which has a free online copy. I rarely looked at it. He is really good at explaining things in many ways. Caters to students and makes more office hours for us. Very helpful.

I LOVE LAZ! An "A" is easy to achieve. He requires you to participate in psychology experiments... Easy. But if you go beyond it, you get extra credit points. He keeps things very ENGAGING. Also attendance doesn't matter, as long as you get notes from another student. Tests are kind of fun... Overall, I love him as a person and as a professor!!

Professor Lazarewicz is so passionate about what he teaches and his TAs are not hard graders! The reading assessment and quizzes are not hard, his "note outlines" help a lot when studying for the exam, and he offers extra credit through clicker points and when you attend more "psych experiments." Would take again because it's an easy A!

Adam is a great teacher and a great guy. You learn a lot and it's an easy A, what more could you ask for? Gives extra credit clicker points some classes which allows you to get nearly 100% even if you don't ace every exam. Take him.

His lectures were exciting, he's energetic about content, he gives extra credit for attendance, and he's not out to destroy you with work, which I truly believe is a much better learning environment for those who actually care. Took this for gen ed. He gave a lot of extra credits especially clickers one. Only needed 9% on the final to have an A in the class. Got two A's and one B on the 3 exams. As long as you have enough extra credit (I had 11), you will pass.

This was my second time in a year taking a class with Mr. Laz and I can honestly say he is my favorite teacher in the PSY dept. His classes are always clear, inspirational, and knowledgeable. As long as you go to class take notes, study the notes with the study guides he gives you will do fine! The only hard part is the final as its cumulative.

His lectures are very funny, but you still learn a lot. The tests are a little difficult, but aren't worth a ton of points so don't stress about them. Do the extra credit and get above a C on all the tests (also do the online homework, super easy) and you will get an A. Don't need to go to lectures but extra credit is sometimes given on clickers

Prof. Laz is absolutely wonderful. Not only does he care about his students, but he is also extremely passionate about the material and tries to make lectures as interesting and enjoyable as possible. There were only a few assignments online, 2 papers, and 3 exams. Overall, great class and amazing professor. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Professor Laz. He cares about his all of his students and does anything he can to make sure everyone in class understands the material. I've taken 3 of his classes: social psych, personality psych, and psychological statistics. He makes any difficult material so easy to understand. He's by far my favorite prof.

I've taken a lot of psychology classes at U of A, and Prof. Laz is definitely the best teacher in the department... and even one of the best at the university. Take any and all of his classes if possible- they're all great. His classes will be some of the few courses in college that you will remember for many years (and even decades) to come.

Show up to every class, get the clicker extra credit, pay attention to the lecture and if you understand the lectures you don't have to read the book at all. MAKE SURE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RESEARCH-- it's easy points! Lots of extra credit available. The content is interesting! Take this class!

This teacher is amazing. I hated psychology in HS and I have been so intrigued by this class I have almost been influenced to switch my major. Lazarewicz's presentation of the information through lectures is funny and engaging. The course work is through an online book, is mostly participation credit and is done on your own time. Fun and easy A.

You will not regret this class! Every lecture I enjoyed attending and you learn so many cool things about personality. Quizzes and LearnSmart assignments are easy if you go to class and follow the outlines he provides. 10 points extra credit! Writing assignments can be long but T.A's are very lenient. Tests are mostly multiple choice which are easy

Professor Laz has been my favorite professor in my college career. His lectures are always easy to follow, and he utilizes lecture notes that you just fill in; they make it super easy to study. He's extremely open to feedback and super kind. While lectures aren't mandatory, he offers clicker participation points!

Personality psych with Dr. Lazarewicz was my favorite course this semester! He is a very talented lecturer and passionate about the subject, which made the class enjoyable. You have to attend lecture (or find a friend who will) because he does not post his notes online. TAKE IT! Offers extra credit and tests are easy.

He is passionate when he teachers, funny, & if you didn't want to go to class you wouldn't have to. I recommend taking your own notes on the chapters. DO THE STUDY GUIDES (flashcards) and you will get As on the test.

Professor Lazarewicz is my favorite college professor yet. His lectures are extremely interesting, and you will learn a lot. Go to class because he gives bonus points and all the material on tests is covered by him! You'll have to read the book too, but when studying you only need to focus on what he goes over. Professor Adam is one of the best! Lectures are not mandatory, but he does offer extra credit if attend. The tests are not too bad, although you do use Examity. Adam's preceptors hold review sessions which are very helpful. I would definitely recommend Adam to everyone because he is very passionate about PSY and the lectures are funny/interesting!

I love this man so much. This was his first time teaching Psychology of Terrorism, and it was a very interesting class! You have 4 exams + a final + 4 response papers and chapter quizzes + a research paper. It sounds like a lot but Laz makes everything a breeze. It's super easy if you just go to class. He's hilarious, and everyone loves him!!

Psychology of Terrorism is my 3rd class with Laz, he's the best professor I've had, and this was the first semester 368 was taught regularly, so we were guinea pigs. He was a little disorganized/late in grading which was annoying at times. Lectures weren't as fun as 352 and 360, the class wasn't entirely what I expected, but still was easy.

genuinely enjoyed attending the lectures. The subject matter was beyond fascinating and something I'd never truly thought about. "Psychology of Terrorism" sounds intimidating but I promise you won't regret taking it with him! The assignments and tests were relatively easy, just one long research paper (6-7 pages). his lectures are awesome!!! he makes it very clear what will be on the exams. His exams are tough but if you understand the material you'll be fine. He has a quiz and reading for every chapter, 3 essays due based on the material and a total of 3 exams with a final. It sounds like a lo of work but he makes it very easy... consider taking his class.

Laz made psych so interesting and his passion for the subject was contagious. If you show up to class and pay attention (which isn't hard as he is so interesting and hilarious) then homework and quizzes will be a breeze! There are a couple papers but they are so easy and like a page long! Don't take psych at UA with anyone but Laz!!

ADAM IS THE GREATEST PROFESSOR EVER! Seriously, take this class. He is caring, engaging and hilarious. He assigns homework per chapter, but they are all very easy, plus you have till the test to complete them. The tests are straight forward and based off topics gone over in class. If youre interested in psychology i highly suggest taking his class, his lectures are always interesting and hes a fun teacher, you do take a lot of notes and there is a lot of homework but hes a great teacher.

My fav psy professors! He is always super clear about grading and is always willing to help. I found that reading the textbook is super helpful-really read it. Going to class is a great way to get the main ideas/points of the chapters and get extra credit (from clicker participation).

The TAs grade the student work, but he gives great lectures, is very accessible, and gives you all the opportunity to succeed in his class.

LOVE LAZ!!! One of the most popular profs on campus. Lectures are optional but he's hilarious and does extra credit points for people who show up. Reading is mandatory but weekly chapter are less than 10 pages (one was 3). Chapter quizzes and reading questions are due at test day but open book, easy points. 3 papers but still, piece of cake.

I have taken several courses with Lazarewicz and they have always been a pleasure. His lectures are interesting and you can tell that he really cares about the material he is teaching. The only downside is that his final exams are usually cumulative, but other than that he is a great professor. 10/10 would recommend!

You can tell that Adam is really interested in what he teaches. He is very passionate about psychology, especially social psychology. His class was pretty simple. Homework was done through online textbook, tests were in class. He made it really interesting and engaging.

I LOVED his psych 150 class as a gen ed. He doesn't post the lectures online but he does post lecture outlines to be used in class. His lectures are lively and brilliant. Literally just show up to class and do your homework and you'll pass the exams. You can tell he loves his job and really knows what he's talking about. He also sounds like Hank Green from Crash Course, which is an added bonus. He is such a cool guy, definitely recommend taking one of his classes.

Even though you don't have to show up, there are random days when you get extra credit for attendance. Plus, lectures are usually entertaining and helpful. As long as you put in effort, you should do okay. The tests can be hard though so study!

Easy class. Good teacher. If you pay attention and use logic, the class will be fine. I never missed more than a half a point on each of his midterms. The homework is unnecessarily long (which is why he gets 4, not a 5), but as long as it's done, you get full points. Do it. Easy points! I ended up needing a 0 on the final to keep my A.

Show up to lectures and take good notes/ take pictures of his slides he does not post lectures online so if you miss a class you'll have to email him or get them from someone in class. There are homeworks before each test, 4 writing assignments that are not hard, and plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Loved having him as a professor!

Professor Las is such a great person! He is always willing to help. Also gives extra credit. 4 papers but all very easy. Quizzes and Hw's are open note. The only thing is Exams are tough and he often adds questions you would only know if you go to lecture (he also doesn't post his lecture slides). Would def take again.

The most amazing professor Ive had. He cares very much for his students and tries to make sure everyone has their lecture notes written. He also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities during class. Theres only three papers and they are usually interesting prompts.

Professor Laz was great teacher, there are 4 papers that are super easy if you go by the rubric. The lectures sometimes can get boring and he takes a really long time to answer emails (understandable since he has 400 other students) The homework and quizzes are open note and the exams can be a bit challenging. This class was so much fun, and I love every minute of it. The textbook was so long, so I generally just skimmed it, and used the study guide to study. Dr. Las was a really cool guy, who really cared about our learning. He always did whatever he could to make us feel comfortable. Random attendance checks yielded lots of attendance points.

SUCH AN AMAZING PROFESSOR. He was super lenient and very clear on what needed to be done. You will have to pay for mindtap but other than that there is not really a textbook. The homework is the hardest part of the class but he gives a lot of extra credit. If you do the work it's pretty easy to get an A! He always replies to emails very quick.

professor Laz is by far my favorite professor I have had in college so far. You can tell he is really passionate about what he teaches and he does not make it boring. There is a lot of little things he grades that it you do not do well on exams it will not till your grade. Occasionally does clicker questions for extra credit.

I'm taking this class right now for a gen-ed and since everything is online Prof Laz really makes the class easy to navigate and he is always available via email and super helpful and the class is actually pretty interesting and easy to navigate through! I strongly recommend the study guides for the exams -hint hint !

I really enjoy this class so far and it's really interesting even with online lectures. His study guides are true to the tests so just follow those and watch the PowerPoints (which are really good btw) and you'll get an A on the exams. Just be careful on the papers because they can be graded a little harsh but there's so much EC offered.

Never seen this man a day in my life. He sends check ins to make sure you know what to work on because the course load is heavy!! 14 mindtap chapter homework along with 14 quizzes based on the homework. His regular chapters along with 3 midterms and a final, and 4 essays which are kind of short. I found it easy but allot of students struggled.

Professor Laz is a great guy! I recommend taking this class if you are looking for an easy gen ed. His lectures are interesting, however there is a lot of reading for the textbook. It is manageable though. There are many opportunities for extra credit! He doesn't require attendance. He records lectures and uploads them. Overall, great guy!

I forgot to add, this man is not assessible at all. Lol he glowed up and started acting different idk. Take the class if you like the suspense I guess. Adam is the best professor at the UA! He posted chapter ppts with audio but also held casual classes on zoom twice a week for those who wanted to join and get some more clarification on the material. Gave lots of hints on the 2 papers so that everyone could get an A and his midterms were fair and easy. His enthusiasm for stats is infectious!

Four papers assigned in this class, easy rubric and easy 100% if followed (topics to write about were fun!). Easy A, read over the powerpoints and complete the homework/quizes and you'll be fine on tests. Super nice guy, very passionate about what he teaches. 10/10

Professor Laz was my favorite professor ever! Every class is optional, and the lectures are recorded if you want to go and you miss it! There is tons of extra credit and the homework and assignments are minimal and self-explanatory! If you miss the homework, send an email or go to his office hours, he is super understanding! With COVID-19, Prof Laz is a great choice. He is super accommodating and truly cares about his students. Homework is usually on Chegg if you need guidelines and Quizzes on Quizlet. There are two written assignments which take some time so start early on those.

Zoom lectures were optional, each chapter was about 60 slides, three chapters per test which seems like a lot but you get like two and a half weeks to do it plus writing assignments. PSY150 is a super easy class. There are a lot of notes, but the tests are directly from these lectures. The homework is super easy, you have three attempts, and the quizzes can be found online. I never read the textbook, just followed his lectures/powerpoints. He is very good at communicating with his students. Highly recommend this class.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. You don't have to go class and you pretty much work at your own pace. I've gotten an A on every paper, and if you just stay on top of your work you will finish with an A. His recorded lectures are SO interesting to listen to, and his lectures are paired with his powerpoints so you take your notes at your own pace. 100/10

Prof. Lazarewicz is honestly really down to earth, super clear and straightforward with all the assignments. He makes class very interesting, so it's easy for things to actually stick. This class is super easy! I would say to show up to class (live zoom) and take notes and he basically goes over textbook material, so reading the textbook is like a review (in depth). He is very funny and chill and only has one homework assignment a week. First exam was cake and he grades fairly! Definitely recommend him anyday! :)

There are so many things I loved about taking this class with Professor Laz! He was really caring and made sure we had a clear understanding of the material. I took the honors course for this class and Prof. Laz is such a cool professor. He was very entertaining for lecture. About 6 online topics & one quiz a week - tops 1.5 hours. I really recommend this class! Expect to do a weekly assignment on MindTap, along with a quiz. The assignments were straightforward as all the answers are in the reading, which would be displayed at times along with the questions. Also, expect to have an assignment with your biweekly meetings, which again were also really simple.

If you show up to class you are guaranteed an A, I thought i was terrible at math and nervous for statistics, however, he is the best teacher ive ever had. Just by showing up the amount of extra credit will give you a 20 point boost on your final grade, and he takes the time to cater to each student.

Dr. Laz is amazing. He's funny and engaging and always is there as a resource for anyone who needs help. PSY101 was easy and was hybrid (only had one in-person class every 2 weeks). Beware that you must participate in a certain amount of studies for the psychology department (counts as 10% of grade), but he constantly reminds you and updates you.

He's an awesome teacher! I had his hybrid class and everything is online. He gave online weekly work, which there isn't too much of and it's pretty easy, and class every other week where he would teach a lesson and we would have a week to complete the assignment that goes with it. He doesn't reply to emails at all but has office hours.

Weekly discussion posts + quizzes (easy, 30 min to do 10 multiple choice), readings, and 3 essays + one project. Exam are open everything, 20 multiple choice + 2 short answer questions. Take it!!!

Professor Laz is the best!! He made the few in person classes we had very engaging and enjoyable. He's also a very fair grader and gives a reasonable amount of work. Definitely take him as your professor if you're taking PSY 101!!

The class was hybrid, so we only met in person 7 times the whole semester. All of the midterms and final were taken home and were not worth a large part of your grade. You have to do the weekly mindtaps, which take a maximum of 30 minutes. Professor Laz is also very accommodating and willing to help you during office hours.

The most easy-going, communicative, upbeat teacher ever, and makes stats feel like the easiest subject. There's almost always extra-credit in class. Participation is a massive portion of your grade, but he will excuse any and all reasonable absence excuses. I was badly injured, and he made sure my grade wasn't tanked because of it. Best teacher.

Upbeat. Explains stats so clearly it feels easy. Always works through examples in class and answers every question. No calc tips (you don't need them). Amazing feedback. Cares about students. Attendance is major but he excuses all reasonable absences. Answers emails, or lets you know when he will. Gives extensions as needed. Best teacher ever!!

Hes a great teacher and explains everything really well! Attendance is huge but its worth it as thats where you get lots of extra credit. If youre bad at math he does a good job at explaining everything and the TAs are helpful too!

Professor Laz was amazing! It is a hybrid class, so the course work was a little heavy yet very straightforward. His lectures are short and sweet and attendance isn't required but you do get credit for showing up. There are 8 research credits at the end of the semester that are required but they're easy to do and there's no additional paper due.

Absolutely the nicest professor you will ever encounter. He explained things so well and tried to make the class as engaging and simple as possible.

He is a Psychology professor for a reason. He is absolutely wonderful at what he does, and I cannot recommend him strongly enough. Statistics is a tough subject for many, but he made it appear easy by the end. Take him whenever you can!

very fun class, weekly assignments but super easy i did them one day of the week and didnt have to worry the rest of the week. honestly one of the best classes ive taken, in class assignments are easy. he is super interactive and its very clear he loves what he is doing.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! Class attendance is credited so make sure to show up but he gives out extra credit almost every single lecture. He exams are so easy (open note) and his writing assignments are very minimal. Do not stress about this class, very easy. He loves teaching and is very funny.

Best professor, he loves what he does and it shows. Very good at explaining concepts and answering questions. Very flexible and easy going when it comes to asking for extensions or accepting late work.

He is genuinely the best professor I had throughout my freshman year. He is so caring and understands if you miss an assignment. I had a trip planned when a major test was, and he opened it early for me so I didn't have to worry about it! Super funny and you can tell he loves his job.

He seems to pour his personality into his lectures, homework after every lecture, but they tend to take 10 minutes or less. He does want you to read the textbook, but you don't really need to.

Professor Laz has a lot of passion for what he teaches and it truly shines! His lectures are always exciting and he provides lots of opportunities for extra credit that are always engaging and relevant! He's a genuinely caring and upbeat professor who wants all of his students to succeed.

Good professor, good lectures, good course. My only gripe was the grading weight, as exams (4 worth 3% each) and projects (3 worth 4% each) mean next to nothing. What decides your grade is the busy work, mini-quizzes, and the physical attendance. If that doesn't bother you though, this is your man.
