Had this professor last semester and he was great. Took the time to explain each lesson and was quick to respond over email. I will tell you to listen to his advice about the assignments and what your final mark will be.

I had no clue how to use excel before this class. Now Im able to create graphs, budgets and it helped me in other courses. He is a good teacher and I agree about his 'do the assignments' comment.

Cares for his students. Will assist you if you need help and go over things more than twice if students are having trouble. Assignments are easy if you attend class. Doing the assignments help you a lot for the tests.

Adam saved my semester as it was so difficult coming back from the strike. He reviewed all of our old lessons when we came back and then took his time with new ones. Provided really great reviews before each test and always took up previous homework to know where you went wrong. Very helpful and a great professor!!!!

He is a good teacher, makes a material very easy to understand, a lot of assignments that will help you to increase the grade. Not a tough grader, always gives partial marks just for trying.

Attendance is not mandatory but its better that you come to class and listen to his lecture. He explains things and makes everything easier. Just do all of your labs and quizzes and you will ace this class

Loved this prof and the course. I didn't think you could actually learn about customer service but he was able to make it happen. Some of his best lectures were the ones that were even off topic to the lesson - credit score, scanning code of practice and privacy protection. Take this professor if you want a good grade and learn at the same time.

Really nice and caring professor, explains the course materials step-by-step and makes sure everybody understands before moving on. He walks around just to make sure everybody is on the same page. 100% recommend taking his class!!

I really didn't understand how to use a lot of microsoft office products before taking this course. Adam really took the time to explain each lesson to me and would even walk around the room to help students when they needed it as well. Professor Lorentz was so helpful this semester. I was very worried about online courses but he really helped me through the course material in the live stream sessions. I wasn't very confident with Office products going into this course but I now feel really good about them going into next semester. I hope I can have another class with him.

Adam is a nice professor. He is well prepared, gives clear announcements, and his explanation will make you understand much easier. Also, his class is fun, not too long, and he only explains the important things you should know. I was having a hard time with these online classes, but he has helped us to study well. I highly recommend his class!

He is very caring. If you do the work you get a good mark. Dont expect him to give you free marks if you dont do the work!

2020 was a horrible year for me and probably most of us. Without Professor Lorentzs help I would not have passed his course or maybe not even made it through the semester. I was truly very fortunate to have his class and was able to learn alot. I will definitely take any of his courses again!!!

I really enjoyed Adams class and found that it was the best online class I had this semester. He made it very easy to understand what was needed in the course and was available any time I had a question. I did appreciate the help he put into his classes for myself and other students and I even learned a few new things about customer service. ����

I don't know why somebody mark red to him. He is a good teacher. He didn't put any group project in SMS202, he was funny sometimes, but other times was teaching the student. Easy work on SMS202, and i will go to CSS300 and still Adam Lorentz.

I just finished SMS202 and Professor Lorentzs classes were great. I learned alot from him, his classes were one that I actually wanted to attend and not too challenging at all. I really liked the reviews he would provide us before each test and was available when I had questions. I would definitely take him again.

Great prof, easy class, no textbook and everything was online. His lectures were good and was able to ask questions. I liked that I could work ahead to balance out my other courses. Hope to have him again in another course.

Excellent prof who made his online course sooooo much more manageable compared to some of the other courses I have. His tests weren't too bad and straight from his lectures or textbook. Group work was actually fun as I got to meet new people and Professor Lorentzs gives a lot of time between each part. Would take him again if I was able to.

Loved this professor. Adams classes were fun, easy to understand and was available when you needed him. Workload was reasonable ton better than my other courses and I actually learned a lot about MS Office even though I thought I knew enough. Highly recommend.

With COVID and then online learning I really struggled this semester with my courses. I truly wasn't sure how I was going to make it these last few months. I know Adam is professor but he treated me like a human being and not just a student number. He cared about my mental health and I am here writing this because of him. Thank you Prof Adam!!!

Really liked this professor. I struggled with computers and was worried about this course but Adam really helped me throughout the semester. I appreciated that he would always answer questions live in class and didnt mind being interrupted. Im much more confident now with Microsoft Office than I thought I ever would have been before the semester.

Just choose him over any other professor. Come to the class, you will enjoy it. If you just pay attention to his classes all quizzes are easy to do and he records his classes so you will be able to watch them and able to do all the assignments. Just take him. It was the most relaxing class in my whole semester.

I am attending SMS202 LAST semester with Prof. Lorentz. I must say he is the best professor I came across. The lectures are amazing, informative and fun. Got to know a lot about the business world, and importance of Microsoft Excel. I highly recommend to take him as your professor and I am sure you won't regret. Thumbs up!!

Professor Lorentz is legitimately a great professor whose a nice person and taught us like people. He would make lectures feel like a conversation and not just regurgitating preused material. I could ask a question and he would answer it and show us all how to find a solution to the problem so that we all learned to not make the same mistake. 10/10

Best professor I ever experienced. Flat out I just loved his class. Cares about students and helps you understand what you are learning. There is group work which I was nervous about but he supported ours and helped when we had a major disagreement. I can say that I learned more about customer service than I ever expected to have.

I enjoyed CSS300 with prof Adam. He taught well and helped during lectures. Group work was a lot of the course but he made it easy to understand what he wanted. I was amazed that what I learned in class made sense when I went to work. Hope to have again in another class.

The professor is so good, I recommend you join in person course, you can leaning everything. Every week you need to finish online quiz, it is easy, and you also can do quiz long time, it is very helpful,m the homework is not heavy, choose he is so prteey lucky.

Take his class at all costs. Adam has been the best professor for me at Seneca and I was able to be in two of his courses for my program (SMS310). You will literally will want to listen to his lectures as he explains the material in a way that makes sense. Group work wasn't bad and tests are fairly easy. Helps he is also easy on the eyes. I failed this course twice before and then I finally had Adam as a prof. I'm not bad at computers but just needed the course to be explained clearer and have it be relevant to a real job. Adam did all of this for me and would recap parts of it when a student didn't understand it. Passed this course with an A+ and thankful I had him as a prof.

Amazing professor. Never used Tableau before and was able to really understand it through his lectures. The workshops are very easy to do as he provides step by step instructions. The milestones are a lot of fun and one part of the course I really enjoyed. If you are in the BAN program, take his course, you won't regret it!

I have never used Tableau before and the BAN program was very intimidating the first semester. I did enjoy it but all of these programs at once felt like too much. But in my BAN140 class, Prof Adam helped me really understand how to use the app and how to understand what the data was telling me. I am really looking forward to my next semester now.
