I highly recommend Professor McKible! As a literature course, it will, of course, be reading and writing intensive. However, there are many ways to get extra credit in this course, like attendance. He will make time for you if you're struggling and replies quickly to emails. He's funny and a gem! His lectures are fun and exciting!

I was hesitant about taking him, but enrolling in his class was one of my best decisions. Professor McKible is an awesome professor who genuinely cares about his students. Be prepared to read, this is a literature class followed by weekly discussion posts, and two essays. You have alot of help with assignments as he answers emails promptly.

Prof. McKible has his Ph. D and it shows. He is not only caring and accessible, his class will make you grow to love English. English professors are very critical, but Prof. McKible does so in a way where you will make the correct edits and earn that A. I wholeheartedly recommend taking his classes, I will be doing so in the future!

McKible is a wonderful professor who genuinely cares for his students. 3 papers, weekly DB posts, and MANY extra credit opportunities. McKible is truly the embodiment of what it means to be a good professor. His lectures are great and the assigned readings are interesting. this guy was rude and disrespectful at times and always sent emails but never actually read or understood it was like speaking to a wall.. i think lot of these reviews are fake because this class is not fun who wants to be told they cant use their phone or have it present... absolutely not and will never take him again, glad it was elective

Though strict with attendance and writing style, Professor McKible's class is worth the effort. With helpful feedback, engaging lectures, and study tools like Unstuck AI, I learned a lot and earned a solid grade. Recommended for diligent students.

Adam is great but the reading is tedious as you will read 4 books on top of 5-6 heavy readings some which are boring. The theme of the class is overall amazing so if you can put up with the readings take him but it did feel like I was reading and just regurgitating what I read onto my papers.

Professor McKible is nice, although I had some personal things I didn't enjoy about him and his class. He is very tough on his expectations for his papers so make sure to go to him for help and feedback. He has Co-teachers to help the class run smoothly, but they aren't always present in person they mostly work online. Take him to improve writing.

Material is conveyed clearly. On the academic side, there is much to be learned. However, he lacks a certain human quality of connecting with others, showing empathy, and tact.
