Adam really knew his subject matter and was great at giving examples to help us understand the tougher parts. I felt like he gave us ample ways to get help if it was needed. He's very personable and funny! His lecture slides were great, I didn't buy the book because I was broke and ended up not needing it because he was so thorough in his lectures!

Most rewarding class I've taken here! He is a little difficult but he makes sure you know EVERYTHING. World-class teacher who was so much fun and so very smart. I saw he's only teaching this class online now though which is awful. MUST TAKE 237 WITH HIM!

I LOVED this class and instructor! It wasn't easy, but if you paid attention in class, printed out the lecture slides ahead of time, and made good notes, then the tests were fairly easy. What was also nice is that he was always available via phone or office visits to answer any questions outside of class. Great guy! Take him for ALL Psy classes!

So far this class has been how I expected it to be. It should not be an easy A. I believe this is his first time doing online.The first week was a bit frustrating because he didn't post things how he said he was. But now he got the hang of it, and he is doing great. As long has you read the book,listen to the podcast and read them you'll do great.

He is the most difficult teacher I have ever had and the most amazing. I took this course online because I was told that his students learn the most. I wish I could have taken it in a classroom though. His audio recordings are like a lecture. He's also pretty sexy from what I can tell. Take this course only from him!

He was fun and helpful. The tests are fairly easy and so are assignments. I learned a lot but didn't feel overwhelmed at all. Great teacher!

He is a good teacher! He is very knowledgeable and willing to help you understand a concept if you need clarity. He jokes a lot and makes class fun. There are very few assignments so the grade depends mainly on the three tests and final. I would take another course from him.

Took this online and couldn't be happier with how much I have learned. He makes you work for it but I didn't expect to just skim by in this subject anyways. You'll do fine as long as you do the required postings, read his lecture powerpoints, read the text and listen to his smokin' hot voice on the podcasts.

He is a very good teacher. However, if you do not learn well by reading the text and taking lecture notes. Do Not Take his class. He makes class fun and interesting. If you can handle the lectures and book reading to learn I would recommend him then.

I thought he was a great teacher. He seemed excited to be there and you could tell he wanted everyone to do good. You had to put in effort for a good grade but that's how college should be. He made sure everyone understood and interacted with students a lot. I also think he's not too bad looking.

Took his class online. He was a bit lost at the beginning of the course, but other than that this course was one of best ones I've taken. He is very clear on his expectations, and his test are a bit hard, but worth it! I would take him again!

Adam is great. His podcast lectures made this awesome. He's a funny guy. Easy class, easy work. The tests are something that if you pay attention to the material, are easy as well. Good class, had fun and would recommend.

I was hesitant to take this class, but I'm sure glad I did. Adam is knowledgeable/passionate about the topic and is very approachable. I would highly recommend this class, especially to those that may be on the fence.

There was nothing too hard in this class. Read the chapter, take some multiple choice tests, and participate in the weekly discussion board. Adam was very helpful and included slide shows and pod casts to assist the text

Behavioral Neuroscience is his specialty so his knowledge base and personal experience are immense. He is funny, and intelligent in his lectures, and strives to help people understand the material. The class is tough, but he makes learning the material worth it. Definitely a great teacher for any class he teaches.

Excellent teacher! Explained anything that wasn't crystal clear for me, and worked with me when external circumstances conflicted with deadlines. Great podcasts, and discussion questions. Would take this instructor again.

Professor was highly articulate, intelligent, and professional at all times. He had an excellent sense of humor and was easy to pay attention to. I enjoyed the class.

He is so cute and nerdy! It's hard not to like him. He deals well with difficult students and strives to answer all your questions. As long as you attend class consistently, read the chapters, do assignments, etc., it will be an easy class.

He is very helpful and very clear on what/how to do it. I highly recommend him. He's a little tough as in like a lot of work but definitely manageable!

Excellent teacher! Very nice, helpful and understanding. His PSY104 course offered the textbook for free on his eLearn course page. He's young and knows his stuff. I find it easier to connect with him compared to a lot of other teachers. I would highly recommend taking him!

I absolutely love this class! Easy, fun, and you learn A LOT. Just do write in the discussion boards, do thought questions, and try your best on the quizzes (which i got A's on simply because you can use your text!) Easy A

Adam might be my all time favorite prof. Dont get me wrong you have to work for the grades but it isn't all that hard because you will LOVE going to class. He is obviously very intelligent and passionate about his subject. Homework is light but somewhat challenging, typically 3 exams with a fairly easy final. If you get a chance, take his course!!

Adam had a passion for psychology and a passion for teaching. This really comes through in his classes and really makes the classes fun. Best of all, he is young and gets pop culture, making class relevant to fresh from highschool students.

Adam is funny and pretty down to earth! If he doesn't know the answer to a question you ask him, he has no problem admitting it and opting to find the answer for you (outside of class!) His grading system is basic and as simple as do the homework & study for the tests!! Definitely recommend..

first thing Adam said to us on the first day of class was "this morning I woke up in a ditch with a cat licking the inside of my mouth." I knew from that moment that he would be my favorite teacher here. very clear, fun, and relaxed which made this class what I thought would be a chore very enjoyable. I will be taking psy as an elective next term!

His classes are fun and entertaining. Every lecture was well thought and he knew exactly what he was talking about plus more. He is also young and energized and can relate to the students so there was not much work. I went into this class without taking 201 and would suggest taking it, otherwise studying for the tests will be crucial.

Oh man. Adam is literally the best teacher. He's legit. I had him for PSY201 as well and he really looks out for his students. I didn't do so well on a test, but he took time out to meet with me and go over what I missed. Any questions I've ever had, he answered to the best of his ability. He's the greatest teacher I'll ever have. No one compares.

Adam is great! I loved his teaching style and he is very approachable (even for those who have a hard time asking for help-he promotes emailing him and he'll respond quickly) You'll need to read each chapter and pay attention to pwrpt and side notes that he says. Tests are hard for those who don't work hard/study. He's one of my favorite teachers.

No need to read the textbook he goes over everything on the slides. His classes are very interesting. I totally disliked the fact the he puts us in groups, but overall it is an interesting class.

Enjoyed his class overall. His teaching style came off as laid back, but thorough and focused. His lectures were easy to follow even if you didn't do the reading. However, it is helpful to refer to rhe reading upon writing papers for his class. Attendance makes all the difference!

Fun guy kept the class interesting.

The only thing for this class for me is that it was impossible to keep up on reading the books. If you take really good in class notes though you'll do good on the two tests. the worst part of the class is instead of a final test you have a group presentation of a peer reviewed article. Adam is really nice about it though. And he is really cute :)

Really great teacher. He would throw in some jokes that would really get you laughing but also thinking. Really helps with any questions you might have. He had an attendance policy that was a bit of a killer, but if you have an emergency, he's pretty accommodating if you tell him as soon as possible.

He is an excellent teacher! He is extremely interested and enthusiastic about teaching this class! I enjoyed the personal stories and jokes he would throw into some topics that were less interesting or more sensitive to keep students interested and informed. Adam doesn't make things easy but he's an amazing teacher who is genuinely interested in psychology. He may not be the oldest psychology teacher but he has plenty of experience and stories. Adam was amazing. I didn't think I'd be laughing in an online course but I was because the lectures he posted online were not only helpful and clear but were entertaining. I was looking forward to listening to the lectures and learning. He is very accommodating to a students needs as well.

If you work hard for his class, then there is no reason why you wouldn't get a good grade. I have ADHD (makes it dam near impossible to pay attention), but I was able to understand and enjoy Adam's lecture. He knows how to teach a class, and he knows how make it enjoyable. Glad to have taken his class!!!

I loved taking his class but man oh man was it a tough one. He's VERY specific w what he wants in his essay answers thankfully he would give us the opportunity to redo them but his grading on that the 2nd time around was strict only because we had the chance to take it home, look through the book so he expects A LOT from you.

Adam is one of the best instructors at Chemeketa! He is very knowledgeable and very interactive with his students. Make sure to read along with the syllabus and be ready to discuss topics in class (It is a lot more interesting when students actually participate)! I would definitely recommend Adam to anyone looking to take a psych class! :)

Good and funny professor. His teaching style didn't fit my learning style so well, but I studied the material, went to class, did the essay and got an A in the class. You defiantly have to study for exams they could be tricky sometimes. If you have an A by the end of the term you don't have to take the optional final which is super nice.

He gets your grades done quickly and gives feedback. Beware that there is NO late work accepted under any circumstances and you'll do fine. Tests are fairly difficult. 75 questions in 90 minutes so you must know your stuff! Overall he was great. Easy A as long as you put in the work.

AMAZING teacher! I would take his class again by far! Helpful with everything, and every easy to talk to. I felt like if I had an struggles or questions he was there to answer them asap. Great with lectures and making them interesting and fun. Really made me think when I was in the class but made it fun to learn the material.

Distracting good looks and hilarious teacher. He's very specific when it comes to grading. If you like group projects than I would take him. I loved listening to him. Very interesting and he takes the time to listen to his students.

While the class had a lot more writing than I expected I learned a bunch and enjoyed getting to meet Adam. He's probably the smartest teacher I've ever had. He is also very helpful and really wanted the class to understand the material. Also, he is stupid attractive.

Adam took so much extra time to ensure that I knew how to complete our research project correctly. He even did statistics with me! Adam changed my outlook on college and now, I want to get my phd in neuroscience. Yes, he is probably the most attractive man I've ever seen, but he was a great, caring teacher. Not an easy A!!

Adam is a great teacher and very funny. Participation is key and you MUST TAKE NOTES. There is one big group project but as long as you do your part, you pass easily. The tests must be studied for, as there is a lot of material. He will call on you in class, even if you don't have your hand up, so be prepared. Overall great teacher though!

Reading (due BEFORE each class) can be hard to understand, but the follow up discussions in class will provide clarity. Calls on everyone, tries to get every student to speak up in class. I thoroughly enjoyed Adam. Though the 2-hour long class sucks, he always gives you a 10 minute break halfway through. I would keep the syllabus taped to your forehead because it is going to have EVERYTHING you need. DONT forget to read, DONT forget about the online tests, and DONT forget about the writing assessments and all will be fine

I took Psychology 201 and am taking 202 from Adam right now. He's a great teacher, very passionate about what he's teaching and is very accommodating to students who need it. He really drew out my passion for the subject. I wish I could take 239 with him! Awesome classes, awesome teacher! I would highly recommend taking a class of his if you can!

This was a good class. He's a great professor who obviously has passion for what he does. I'm one of those students who does all my work and shows up everyday but doesn't raise my hand- he WILL call on you because he believes in his each of his students. Overall great class. Come to class, participate and do the readings assigned.

I had taken 201 and was completely unprepared for this class (most likely because of the teacher I had but I'm not blaming her) but none the less he is a very fair grader and loves what he teaches I cannot complain about his class. Oh and if you're shy, he WILL make you talk so if that's not your thing I wouldn't recommend.

Adam was a good teacher. If you don't show up you won't pass, you get points for showing up. His tests are all multiple choice and timed. Don't be think because it's multiple choice that it's easy, it's not. You have to study and keep up on all reading! He replies quickly to email even weekends, but don't expect a great response to your question
