hard tests, cool class

He's the best teacher I've ever had. I've never had so much fun or learned so much in one class. Funny, brilliant man. His tests are hard, but take good notes and go see him during office hours--he's really helpful.

I really enjoyed his class (especially at 7 A.M.). He really knows his stuff. I recommend his class.

In my top 3 teachers ever. So intelligent, witty, and passionate about course material and his student's well being. He loves to help everyone and takes the time to learn people's names and strengths and weaknesses. Can be tough, but call it tough love.

Stone is very lively in his teaching. The tests cover information that can only be received in class, but his class is manageable.

Great instructor. turn in drafts of paper! You will get great feedback. I once did this 4 times for one paper. He was the first teacher I ever had who effectively taught m how to write an A+ essay.

Stone rocks it hardcore. He's an extremely nice and helpful teacher. Kinda marches to his own drummer...but it makes things entertaining. You'll learn a=lot in his class.

Adam Stone is extremely cool. His tests require studying but he makes the government look very interesting. His teaching is one of a kind and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great teacher and willing to do a little work.

Stone makes his lectures colorful but sometimes lost me on the real point. The tests are hard and you need to know more than what he's teaching to do well on them.

I really enjoyed this teacher. His lectures are very fun...but if you are not one to show up to class, don't bother! Test are very analytical and you need to study. He was very FUN though. You have to take this class, so have fun with it!!!

Extraordinary teacher; I really enjoy his class. His tests are a bit difficult but he lets us know what we need to study and even has the material outlined for us. If you cannot achieve the grade you want, it is of your own doing; not his. I would highly recommend this class and any other he teache

I have learned a tremendous amount in his class. Very interesting, but sometimes wish we could stay on the subject matter better. Tests are unnecessarily difficult for a state required class. Lecture often has little influence on exam questions...read the material!

Stone is a very funny professor. His lectures don't put you to sleep. Make sure your in his class everyday so you will not fall behind. Oh yeah should I mention, his test are a killer to your grade, they are so hard-make sure you study. Overall-STONE is cool. I have a D right now.

Although his tests were pretty difficult, I Really enjoyed his class. He was funny, and even in an 8am class I could Never fall asleep! I thought poli sci would be boring, but he makes it thoroughly interesting. I only wish he taught another class at GPC so that I could take it.

Class is easy. All notes are online. The tests are difficult, but if you get some from before they are close in topics and they help you study

He is a great teacher and explains things the best he can. He even takes the average of class answers on test, and the ones that are bad he throws out. The tests are relatively hard, but he keeps the class interesting.

I didn't like political science going into this class, but Stone and his hats were very enjoyable. He doesn't give homework, ever, but His tests are his legacy-- a touch on the difficult side, but if you study, you'll get the hang of it.

If are used to an easy A, DO NOT take this class. He only gives an average of 3 A's per class. I struggled to make a B and I've got a 4.0 (well, did, anyhow). His tests are brutally hard. He's a great teacher, just needs to update his teaching format to include extra credit or class participation or something for those who WANT to make an A.

Stone is a great teacher. I was dreading taking this class but Stone's enthusiasm for the subject has made this an interesting class. If you attend every class and pay attention when he outlines what is going to be on the tests, then study that material you should get a passing grade. would defintely take class with Stone again.

if you like poly sci, you'll love his class. if you suck in the subject, you'll still enjoy having stone as a prof. Tests are pretty difficult unless you are great at application, not just reading and paying attention in lectures.

Very funny guy. Tests can be confusing but it's easy to make an A in his class. Entertaining and relevant, but he focuses too much on Germany and talking to people from other countries. Actively cares about his students and makes it fun. Sometimes repetitive, but overall very good.

He uses sillyness to teach, power complex, LUVZ havin fun. Will force u 2 bend yer mind to view politics the way he does and often leaves little room for debate (especially when being tested! make sure u know EXACTLY wut he wants 2 hear!) Hard test... all application test. Very excited about political science. Hilarious but I little to happy for 7am.Other than that... he's a decent teacher.

Great prof, spends a lot of time covering applicable material, but be forwarned about his tests. They are 70% from the notes, 10% application and 20% stoneisms. Once you figure out waht a Stoneism is, you will do fine.

kinda hard, you do need to study for his tests. if you aren't sure, please ask him. I like to help student. but, most of all, if you pay attention to the lecture, you'll be fine.

(Assumin there was never a budgetin class) Public Admin has to be the most boring subject ever taught at GPC.Mr. Stone made it bare-able. Thank god. His tests are a bit difficult so study ahead of time.Hes a really great teacher, and tries hard to get these things to sink in our heads.I recommend him to all that is seriously interested in poli sci.

I absolutely loved the guy, but I enjoy political science. If you are into this kind of stuff, I would recommend taking him because he makes it incredibly interesting and fun at the same time. I managed to get an A in his class, but I had to work for it. If you study a bit, you can make an A...and he's a great guy and pretty funny too.

I do not enjoy government classes, I just don't find it interesting, But Stone really knew how to break it down and make it interesting. I had to miss quite a few classes there at the end but he was very willing to work with me. I ended up pulling off with a descent grade, but I definately could've done better if I had been there more often.

He is by far my favorite professor I've had out of the three semesters I've been at GPC. He is an EXCELLENT teacher. He is very funny and very sweet. His tests are not that hard at all, just study for them! Since all majors have to take this class, take it with him! You'll love it, I guarentee it!

He loves to talk and tell stories but it relates to the class and will help you learn. Plenty of laughs and very helpful and easy to talk to when there are problems. He tells you what to study for on his tests, you have to work for your grade but it was a lot of fun!

Great teacher! makes learning fun! tests are fairly easy, just have to read a little. All the notes are online in outline form. He tells you what pages and parts you have to read for the test questions. He also gives the essay topic questions ahead of time. Very good teahcer! Before his class I hated political science.

Stone is a fantastic professor. Took him for 3 classes. He writes an outline on the board for notes for every class and prepares you for every test. If you don't come to class and you don't study, don't expect an A. Noticed that the "negatives" are first year (probably first semester) students...get used to college, people. If you pay attention in class, which isn't hard cause he's a really great teacher, and read the chapters you'll pass the class no problem. He makes it interesting and understandable. I failed this class the first time i took it in high school and college and only got a C the second time i took it in high school. i got an A in his class!

As a former student, with time to reflect on Prof. Stones teaching, he is an awesome professor, if you have the oppertunity to take his class by all means do. You must pay attention but if you do, you will do well in the class. He is honestly the professor that inspired me to finish my B.A. at UGA and you would be lucky to have 2 prof's like him.

This guy has the personality of the cartoon character, Roger Rabbit, which is good because he makes the class so damn interesting. His exams are kind of difficult, but he will definitely work with you. I would definitely recommend his class. I got a B.

this is the greatest techer i have ever taken i only got a C in his class but he made something i had no interest in really interesting. i took him at 6:30am and he definatly helped keep me and the rest of the class very up. hes enthusatic about what he techer and it is clear that he loves this subject as well as he will do anything for his student

Funny guy with a hundred stories. Took him at 7am in the morning and the guy kept me awake. Test are not that hard. He grades a little hard on the essay you have to write. He gives you what is going to be on the exams and just has high energy.

I took stone in my first semester at GPC during Fall 2009, needless to say this experience cannot be found anywhere else. I ended up with a B, but his style of teaching is just incomparable to any other professor at GPC. His style is vivid, fun, and unforgettable. Stone breathes Political Science like no other Professor. He keeps you engaged and uses a lot of visuals to express his material content. Stone is a great professor. He is very animated and loves to use props during lectures. He types up outlines for the units and puts them online for you to print out. His tests are moderately hard, applying the terms instead of just learning them. Overall, a great professor.
