Prof. Adam is a good prof. He goes by the powerpoint presentations more than the book. he is very helpfull, gives extra credits and the quizzes are not hard well maybe a little bit tricky but overall he is a good prof. I recommend you take him

There is a quiz every week, but you can drop 3, they count for 40%. There is a midterm and a final,they count for 50%. The other 10% is from attendance. The class overall is not that easy but I truly loved the professor. Super nice guy and he is eager to teach.

I love prof Ventura! He is nice, helpful and funny. You do have a quiz every week, a midterm and final. No papaers! You also have chances to get extra credit and drop the lowest 3 quiz grades. I enjoyed his class very much and he's cute! :)

awesome teacher. he really goes out of his way for his students. need to study and class mandatory but if interested in behavioral analysis or working with people on the autism spectrum, he's the teacher to pick!

Great professor. Keeps you studying for the whole semester with his weekly quizzes(quizzes are easy if you go to class and study). He always gives exam reviews and answers all your questions.

He's an alright professor. I must say that he is knowledgeable in this specific area. He gives a quiz every week which aren't that easy. His tests are a bit tricky. I would consider taking his class, but just be prepared.

GREAT class! Prof.Ventura is very cute & knowledgeable. He helps everyone (he will go over and over the material until everyone understands it & puts in office hours) Makes the subject fun with examples everyone can relate to. It's very important to make it to every class since you must take notes, read the book, and have a test every week.

He is a good teacher, clear, thorough. Summer A, fast paced, 4 quizes, 2 tests. Tests/quizes are a bit tricky, you will need to read the book and slides and understand the material real well. Only issue is that he is a bit narcissistic, loves attention, specially from an annoying group of girls, which you will probably encounter

Great teacher, too class in summer A- probably would've been better during spring or fall. Within the 6 week period there isn't much time to fully go over things so we ran out of time often and spent all class typing/writing notes.. Tests are easy if you study. Quizzes are easy too-- but only if you study. If not good luck :/

He's really clear in the lecture. The tests were difficult but I believe it was due to the fact I took it in the summer. Study the notes and you should be fine

One of the best professors I have had! He is very good to his students by giving reviews before every exam and quiz; and has no problem spending time answering questions. His lectures are clear and he makes the class very interesting, especially with his humor. He's very nice on the eyes as well :)

Very solid professor, very interesting, and helpful. He should be a stand up comedian, and a successful one at that. The girls love him. His tests may be tricky at times, but that shouldn't stop anyone from taking his class and getting an A. Post our final grades!!

Prof. Ventura's class is not easy but you will learn a lot. He explains material clearly (as much as possible, sometime ran out of time). Ask a lot of questions, he likes that. You need to study a lot (mostly from his PPS),and take notes but he will review before exams/quizes. If u don't go to class u will fail!

Prof Ventura is extremely funny and laidback. He has a passion for Behavioral Analysis and expresses it in his lectures and description of the job. Before I entered this class I thought it was going to be boring. To my suprise, this turned out to me the most interesting psych class I've ever taken.

Outstanding instructor!! This was my first class at FIU and I was extremely satisfied with his teaching method. Knows the subject very well for such a young professor.

His tests can be hard but he does an AWESOME review right before the tests. You have to attend his lectures to pass, the book is okay but was difficult to follow sometimes.

I took him for EAB Principles & Theories and he's awesome. The subject is hard but he makes every effort to make it easy and keep you entertained. You must study & attend class.

study every week and you will end up with an A. Prof Ventura is young and encourages you to do well. Try to take him in the fall or in spring, if you take him in the summer it may be overwhelming.

Not bad at all. He just doesn't give easy grades, he expects you to come prepped up like read the book before arriving to class. His quizes are fair, the exams are a bit difficult though.

Prof. Ventura went out of his way to help me I had a personal tragedy this semester and had to drop the class but he went above and beyond to try to keep me in his class by tragedy I mean death in my family in my book he is a stand up guy and top notch teacher he really does care!

This class really worked well with tight schedules as it was clear that all test were on Wednesday and lectures on Monday. He explained the material very clearly and very professionally. Good teacher.

Awesome Professor! Highly recommend!! If you have the choice, pick him! I will take him again if possible. He makes the class fun and entertaining and uses real-world examples when explaining the material which helps you remember for the exam/quizzes. He is helpful and will explain as many times as necessary to help you understand the material.

He knows his stuff. He blows through a lot of material in a short period of time. He says the book is necessary, but it really isn't. He makes you want to become a Behavior Analyst. Watch out or he'll be making fun of you all semester. PPTs are a must to pass the WEEKLY quizzes (you read right!!!) and exams.

Very interesting class, he knows his field. Made lots of real life comparisons to facilitate learning. Studying is important, but he provides a great study review before each exam. Highly recommend taking his class.

Study the SAFMEDS!!! There is a weekly quiz and 2 tests. He is a great professor, and is very passionate about his field! He will explain anything/everything in great detail just ask. He is very funny and made the class interesting. My only complaint is how long he took to post our grades!!!

I had him for two classes, awesome prof! His pp are all you need to pass the class but you must take pics during class cause he will not post them. His exams are not hard and he makes the class super interesting!

He likes what he does and it shows. Even though attendance is not mandatory , I highly recommend that you attend to his class because you will not get his Power Points otherwise. The prof was really help although the class is not easy but he made it very interesting and he is very funny, we had to do a group project at the last minutes my partner dropped out of the class, he extended it for me. I learned more from his class, than I did wit all EAB Classes combined. study the ppt and the read the book, you will do great.

This class is challenging, you have to work hard to get an A! The Professor is very knowledgeable, high energy, funny, and really engages his students in the lectures.He encourages his students to ask questions about the material either after class or via email, also very generous with extra credit.Take this class you will learn so much!

Amazing! He is very engaging in class. His humor and way of teaching keep you attentive, you won't really drift,again he's very engaging. Took him Mon.& Wed., we had lecture Mon. and quiz Wed. Not much time to study if you are taking multiple classes but I loved it b/c the material remained fresh. There is a midterm and final. Def. recommend him!!

Mr. Ventura is very energetic, has a great sense of humor and makes the class very interesting. He is very clear with his explanations during his lectures and you can tell he loves teaching this stuff... highly recommend him, you'll end up liking BA as much as he does lol. :) P.s. some of the questions on the weekly quizzes are a bit off.

This guy was pretty funny. Did his best to make the class interesting and enjoyable. Each quiz was given with a study guide and so were the midterms. Though sometimes he could be a bit unclear. Definitely a good professor to take this class with.

best professor i've had at FIU. He's hilarious, sometimes goes off on tangents but hes very entertaining so i didnt mind it. his quizzes were easy if you study some questions can be confusing but i still aced them all. the book is actually an easy read. the FBA paper is long so do not procrastinate. overall awesome professor!

Great professor! Although the subject of the class was somewhat boring (even if you had an interest for behavior analysis), he made it interesting and taught with clarity. You need to read and go to class to get the most benefits, as tests are not always very easy. He's pretty funny and very approachable. Definitely recommend him for EAB 3002.

You go to class two days a weeks, one day it's a lecture, the other day there's a quiz. This class requires a lot of studying and interest in the class. But Professor Ventura, makes it interesting and as easy as possible. He always gives a review and extra credit opportunities.

He is a very funny professor that truly has an interest in the subject. Quiz every week, he gives you a review each week. No slides online so you have to take pics because he goes fast. I slacked off but if I would have done review each week I would have an A. You do need to work for it. Great class and he's not to hard on the eyes.

2 Days a week, one day it's a lecture, the other day there's a quiz. This class requires a lot of studying and it is not an easy A. Ventura gives you extra credit and his tests always have a review. Go to class! I am taking him again in the fall.

I really liked this professor. You know what you need to do from day one of class. Take pictures of his slides and study them for the tests. Unless you miss class you don't need the book. He's not a hard teacher but if you miss class often you won't pass his class because he gives clear examples about the subject and what falls on the tests.

This class was boring for me. Prof is pretty funny at times, but goes through lectures way too fast. Quizzes every week that are MC, gives reviews (used textbook a lot for reviews), midterm is an FBA, final is a BSP. Both FBA & BSP can be done in groups (trust me, get into a group), you work in the same group for both.

I don't know why people are complaining about Ventura. He does take a while to input grades, but he's a pretty busy man. If you study the reviews he gives for the quizzes and 2 exams, you'll be fine. He makes you take pictures of his ppts so you have the opportunity to listen and pay attention in lecture, rather than solely focusing on taking notes

This is the second class I have taken with this professor. He is great! There is a lecture and a quiz every week. I admit, he is inconsistent, but that works out for the students. This semester 3 quizzes were either open note or group quizzes. From the extra cred he drops 4 of my lowest quiz grades. Midterm and final are FBA and BSP. great class!

Class consists of lecture on 1 day of class and quiz on 2nd day of class (ex. class on Tues. and quiz on Thurs.). Quizzes based on PP's, TAKE PICTURES OF THE POWERPOINTS! He can sometimes get off topic, but overall knows the subject very well. He can be little into himself so if you can't accept that then don't take him, I found it to be funny.

Does take along time to put up grades so it's hard to keep track of how you are doing in the course. Other than that, class is simple. 1 day lecture, 1 day quiz. Unless you miss class you don't need the book. Take pictures of ALL the powerpoints and stay after class for the review and you'll be fine.

He is AWESOME. Made me want to look into the Behavioral path in psych. Awesome guy. Level headed, lots of curves and extra points. Wish I could take him all the time.

Professor Ventura gives everyday examples to help you understand the vocabulary. His classes are based on PowerPoint presentations that summarize what is in the book. If you read the book and go to class, you'll get an A. He takes forever to answer emails. And gives extra credit at the end of the semester.

As a professor, this man is very educated and very, very good at getting you to understand difficult concepts. He is great with lectures and has really gotten much easier. We had class on Tuesday's and an online quiz on Thursday's. Two group projects that consisted as the midterm and final. You really have to try HARD to fail his class. Easy A.

Professor Ventura is the best, he makes you show up for class because he makes his lectures quick and painless. Powepoints aren't posted online but he lets you take pictures of them. You have weekly tests and those are straight from the lecture and Powepoints, definitely would take again.

If you attend class and take careful notes/pictures powerpoints you will be good to go. Make sure you speak up in class because he gives extra credit all the time for right answers. The book helps a lot too.

Ventura is a good professor, he might be messy sometime but his classes are very easy. Attendance not mandatory, show up one day to get pictures of the PP because he doesnt sent it and next class u got an online quiz from PP. safemedz every week, and a semester long project in group he explain it very clear. Prof. V is truly inspiring and real. During his lectures, he provides real-life examples that help understand the material so well. He likes and gives extra credit for participating during class, so make sure to read the material ahead so you know what he's talking about. Weekly quizzes, mid-term and final.

Professor Ventura is inspirational in his field, very knowledgeable, and he'll provide you with entertaining lectures. Weekly quizzes but it's all online so you have to try to actually fail this class. I wish he would take better advantage of class time, he rushes and class will last 20 mins. Still, he'll make sure to help you if you ask. Sweet guy

He is very knowledgeable on everything that he talks about. He is very well informed on the field and provides great resources and tools for those that are looking into working in the field in the future. He barely shows up to class, is usually late, and doesn't really teach much... I mean if you want an easy A, he would be a good choice.

Behavior Analysis is not my thing. However, this class has been the easiest A I have ever received. There's a vocab quiz every week, a regular quiz every week, a midterm, and final. Everything is online. He posted PPts the first day of class and then took them down. MAKE SURE to save them as soon as he posts them. I barely went to class honestly.

Weekly vocabulary quiz and quiz on lecture. Midterm & Final are projects that you can do alone or as a group. Attendance is not mandatory, but he gives extra credit to participants with correct answers during his lectures. DON'T BUY THE BOOK! You don't need it, unless you're going into the field and want to read the material. EASY A, take him.

Lectures are fun , Most quiz info comes from slides in class. He responds in a timely manner and provides opportunity for extra credit. Exams are online and you have 2 hours to complete . There is no way to fail this class. Class was face to face but work and exams were completed online.

Easy class, usual workload. You don't need the book, at all so don't bother (it's expensive). He makes lecture interesting so going to class isn't mandatory but it's not the end of the world.

Probably my favorite professor ever!!! If you come to class you don't have to worry about doing any reading cause his lectures are really in depth and he always answers your questions (during/after class and through email).

As long as you take pictures of the slides (because he does go pretty fast) you will be golden. His lectures are really interesting and he gives real life examples that are usually hilarious. If you participate in discussion he hands out extra credit for correct answers, too. Super easy A if you keep up with everything!

This class is alot of info and the book is not an easy read but take this course with professor ventura he is great and caring about his students. I wish he taught more courses. Simply amazing!

I took a risk in taking him & it is the best decision ever. There is a midterm, final, 13 quizzes (for each chapter). His quizzes & exam Review helps a lot for the midterm & final. The only thing is that he doesn't post the PPts online which isn't a big deal for me. Make sure to take pictures because the PPts help a lot with the quizzes. Best prof!

Professor Ventura is amazing! he makes ABA simpler to understand with every-day examples. His lectures are great! jokes here and there. If you are interested in the ABA field, take him. He reinforces your interest in the field. The class is composed of a midterm and a final which he reviews.

Behavior Analysis itself is heavy content, but his examples and interaction with audience makes it not so bad. Very easy-going professor, very laid-back, but very professional.

For me I didnt use the text book. Attendance is not mandatory. Great teacher very caring, easy A honestly. As long as you take pictures of the slides and do the homework. Two exams and both are open book!

Very easy professor for Behavior Analysis. Easy A. Quizzes stem from quizlet. Open notes for final and midter m! Not timed either. Barely used the book too. Class didn't really interest me. If you want an easy A just for the credit, he is the best choice. Quizzes, final and midterm are all online!

REALLY good professor. Zooms are not required but his discussions are super fun and sometimes funny. Easy A class and you will learn a lot.

Professor Ventura is great to take if you want a passable class for credit. We had to do polls during the zoom class and then weekly quizzes which were SO easy. We also had a Midterm and Final and both were easy. I would definitely take him again!

Amazing teacher. Took him during spring 2021 during zoom, attendance mandatory because sometimes he doesn't post powerpoints and he takes polls for attendance. He gives really good and interesting lectures. He might go a little fast but still worth it. No hw, just quizzes (10) and exams (midterm and final). Take him!

Adam Ventura's class was one of my favorites. His lectures are not mandatory, but are super important as he does not post the power points on canvas. He is a chill professor and he really knows his stuff. His lectures were always interesting and engaging.
