One of the best professors I've ever had! If you're an Entrepreneurship major, take this man's classes. He's very experienced, very down to earth, and very good at connecting with students. If I ever need advice on a new venture, Adam Wolcott is at the top of my calling list.

Awesome teacher. Classes are fun especially if you participate in the discussions. He is super chill and fun. He always gives reminders about assignments coming up so nothing catches you by surprise, and he provides slides so you don't need a textbook. Would highly recommend taking his classes.

Literally my favorite professor during my time at UTC. He is not super reliant on tests/quizzes/homework. He is a real-life entrepreneur who uses his experience to translate things in the course that we can understand and learn. Definitely take this course for active discussion, not a lot of written work, and a good time. Attendance is part of your grade but you can miss up to 3 without penalty. All exams make sense and make you think about the coursework without regurgitating textbook info.

There is an attendance grade, so making it to class is important. The assignments are all hands on and fun, and he gives time to do them in class. He respects the time constraints and pressure students are under from other classes when designing the workload. Great class!!

He presents a good intro class to entrepreneurship. However, if you already have a good base understanding of venture creation, you may find it highly unchallenging and boring. He is, overall, very nice and encouraging.

Attendance matters in this class but the class itself is not tough at all, the style of teaching is very easy to comprehend and mainly is through lecture and PowerPoints. Mr. Wolcott is a good teacher he is passionate about what he does and you can tell by the way he speaks during class. A majority of work is done in class.

First professor to take into consideration what the students wanted to do. Additionally, he was really understanding about any problems.

Mostly lecture, some group projects/group work. Professor really cares about making the class engaging and wants students to get a lot out of the class. He is really passionate about the topics he covers. As long as you show up to class, you should do well

A few assignments and papers in the beginning but overall based on attendance and participation. As long as you go to class it is a very easy A. Good about excusing absences with the right reasons.

Grading is very straightforward: as long as you show up to class and participate, you will get a good grade. He is one of the most caring and empathetic professors I have met! I am so glad I decided to take this class!

Professor Adam is awesome! Super caring and personable. This class is super collaborative and most of the semester will be spent on an entrepreneurial group project. It's super simple, creative, and can be fun. Be prepared - He takes a grade for attendance, and you aren't graded by very many assignments. I would 100% take him again!

I took this class at night and it was only once a week so I found it hard to sit through the whole class. My group finished the tasks we were supposed to very quickly, when there were large amounts of class time dedicated to do these tasks, so we found ourselves just sitting there a lot waiting on the professor to move on. He is good though.

Best professor i've ever had. Great class sessions once a week during night time and is the most real professor i've ever had. Very nice and inspirational, could not ask for anyone better for a business class.

Adam is easily among the best professors at UTC. He takes attendance for his classes because he wants his students to get the most out of this course and because there is lots of group work included. He is fun and engaging to talk to and treats each student less as a student and more as a professional. 11/10

One of the most patient and caring professors who truly wants his students to achieve in school and real business workshops in problem solving and how to find solutions.

This professors is one of the most genuine ones out there. He truly cares about each student and is really passionate and inspiring. I think the main thing about this class and why it was so beneficial is because of how it was structured to be hands on and learning from your own experience in the semester long group project.

I really enjoyed taking Professor Wolcott. He is the most engaging professor I have taken here at UTC. He is an AMAZING lecturer and super personable. I would definitely take him again if I could. There are like 7 easy assignments and 2 tests, one of which more than 70% of the class didn't take because we were exempt. Easy A!

Attendance is mandatory. His lectures are long but very engaging. This class is very very easy and actually helpful to me. He is very helpful and cares about his students. Not a super heavy work load, mostly done in class. I would 110% take again.

If you show up to class and pay attention, it will be worth it, and you will do great in this course. Adam has by far been one of my favorite professors I have taken at UTC in the last 4 years. His lectures are engaging and worth sitting through. He uses life experiences that really correlate with the lectures and is very personable . There's a group project but he is very helpful and majority of it is done is the classroom.

Adam, is a great Professor! I would highly suggest taking his class in the future. He is a great guy and will always help his students be great. All you have to do is come to class, everything you do is in class. There isn't any homework outside of class.

The Professor provides a clear outline of the expectations and what is required to pass the class. He is very inviting and makes the course extremely engaging. As long as you come to class and participate then you should do well in the course. I would recommend a course from him for both students who are required and have the option to take it.

Professor Wolcott was one of the best professors I've had in my 4 years. He was very engaging in his lectures and were very interesting to listen to. There is a group project but at least 90% is done in class and he will help you all the way through it. I would take any class he offered! He truly wants his students to succeed.

Great professor he always makes natural small talk with each student, showing he cares for us. This class features a big group project but he puts the group together based on who he thinks would work well together. The class moves at a relaxing pace. He shares lots of personal examples, showing us what he knows from his own experiences.

If you have the chance to take this professor, I highly recommend it. He sets a high standard for teaching and creates an environment that allows students to excel. Looking back, I regret not taking his class sooner, as his knowledge and resources would have greatly benefitted my growth as a student.

Great professor who I was excited to come and learn from for every class. He really cares to get to know his students and help them understand something he is very experienced and passionate about. There was very little work to do outside of class, and I did little no note taking for the entirety of the course. Easy, yet impactful.

I cannot recommend this class more. I was hesitant to take a course based around innovation and creativity, as it's not something I'd usually take. That being said, that hesitation went out the window as soon as Professor Wolcott started class on the first day. He is caring, understanding of each student, and wants us all to be successful.

This class was definitely my favorite of this semester! The group project was fun and the professor is engaged throughout the entire process, as well as giving plenty of time to work on it in class. I LOVE ADAM! He is my favorite professor and I was actually excited to go class. He taught so much valuable information and got to know you as a person. His lectures were easy to follow and take notes cause they will help you for future work. We did lots of group work which helped us make new connections! I would take him every semester if I could.

He wants to be the outlet to get us where we need to be to advance in life and careers. He actually knows what he's talking about and it's hard to not get an A in the class.

This class was super fun- but we did a group project for the entire semester. You will learn a lot about entrepreneurship and Adam is very down to earth and a personable professor. The class is very engaging and theres lot of discussion. You have to show up to class and participate, but you probably will want to because of the environment.

Hands down the best professor at UTC, he teaches for the love of the game. This is the only class I ever genuinely got excited to go to. He has so much knowledge in entrepreneurial ventures, and encourages you to push yourself to be the best you are capable of in your life. There's not much work, and what work there is is done in class. Take him.

Definitely my favorite professor and class this semester! He truly cares about his students and makes an effort to learn everybody's names. The class is lecture based, workload is not much at all, and he is an easy grader. Take this class!
