Prof. Adamski is a good teacher. She's clear and to the point. Don't sleep in her class, or she'll have ur head. She's a tough teacher, go to class and u should be fine. She's funny though, which is a plus!

She's understanding when if you go talk to her. Her lectures are funny, and the class is easy if you take notes. She's really cool.

I had Sociology 100 with Prof. Adamski... she makes it so interesting. I had such a good experience last semester I'm in Soc 200 with her. She's funny and witty, just expects you to be a good student and show up to class on time and study!

Had her for Intro and 200. Enjoyed her classes and they were rather easy. She is a super-liberal and her stances on things like drug laws can test even the most open minded, non political student. If you're a 'college republican'... stay away. Everyone else- take her and get an easy A.

She was extremely helpful and gave tons of examples till everyone understands exactly what she is trying to explain. Her tests are not tricky, they are direct and to the point. Just go to class and listen

Great professor. No ego problem like a lot of the others. Knows her stuff. The reason she stands out is, she knows how to DELIVER it! She uses real world examples and isn't afraid to be challenged (respectfully) in class. Exams- not tricky at all. Lectures provide all the info u need. If u don't take this class u r a fool.

Love this class! Everything is straight forward. there are 4 tests and 2 papers. the tests come RIGHT from lectures, but it will hurt your grade if you do not go to class. Everything she teaches is sooo interesting, and she makes you want to learn

I loved this class. She made learning aobut old people funny and intesrting. You do have to work and attendance isnt madatory but it is a must to do well.

Not for the weak. At first I was afraid of her but once you realize her style I loved this class. I learned more from her than I did in the last 3 years in other classes.

This professor is awesome! Her classes are really interesting, especially when she gets going - she can be absolutely hilarious! She's very clear about her assigments, and more than willing to help her students. If you go to class and read the text it's an easy A.

GREAT teacher. very liberal ideas, but makes you think about things outside the box. Can be shocking at times, and some of the things you discuss in class will make you somewhat sick to your stomach, but only because this country isn't what we think. Adamski is very knowledgeable so go to class it's fun, and she knows her****!

At first it was hard to get used to her accent and style. She comes across very hard a$$ and opinionated but that's cause she knows her stuff. She is actually very open to discussions which made her class a lot of fun. But don't try to BS her. She will destroy you. This turned out to be the best class I took this semester.

Honest and to the point. Not difficult material. Makes it fun to come to class. I use the material I learned in her class at least once a week. I took every class she offers. Not liberal, just believes in civil liberties and doesn't think people should be imprisoned for victimless crimes. What's wrong with that?

I'm a senior and of all the classes I have taken in various departments she is BY FAR one of the best if not the best teacher I had.

She is amazing. Seriously, her class made me change my major. she's intimidating at first, but she is a wonderful teacher. just show up, participate and ask questions.

I hated her in the beginning b/c she came off scary. Once I figured her out it was great.I'm just sorry I figured out the FYE stuff too late, you can easily work that to improve your grade with a little effort.

I took this course because it fit my schedule. Now I'm looking to take anything she teaches. She's the best.Half the fun of class was watching her rip a new one on kids who are disrespectful. Don't get me wrong. She will help you out and is open to questions and discussions, but don't be an a$$ cause she won't put up with it and will destroy you.

The first day I came to class I was very intimidated! She comes off very stricked and mean. Once the first week is over she shows her true colors. I loved her class. Her lectures are lengthy, but she kept my interest! Willing to help if you show effort. Tests are tricky, but do able if you take notes. Overall, very good class! So happy with it!

She doesn't really care about any excuses. Do not show up late for her class. Also, she puts trick questions on her test which is bullcrap. Lectures are boring. Her handouts are nice but you have to attend lecture or you'll miss questions on the test because some things aren't on the notes.

She is demanding but fair and you always know what's expected. She really gets into her lectures which makes the material easy to remember. This is the third class I've taken w/her. She's the best.

This Prof. is by far the best I've had at Western. She prints out an outline of the notes that are easy to follow and jot down whatever she says about them. Tests are short and easy if you've paid attention. She'll always help you if you ask for it. She's a bit intimidating in the beginning but she's just trying to get the rif raf out of there.

I took this class cause it fit my schedule but it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. This teacher made me rethink some of my ideas. I'm just sorry I didn't take her sooner because she really opened my eyes.

I'm saying this course is easy only because she makes complicated material seem easy. This is the 4 class I took with her. wish she taught more. This isn't an easy A, but you will learn more in her class than you learn from all your other classes.

She scared the**** out of me for the first two weeks. After awhile I got comfortable with her style and by the end I can tell you that I LOVE HER! She will help you, but she will also fail you if you deserve to fail. Can't wait to take another class w/her.

I got stuck taking this class because it fit in with my schedule and I needed 3 credits to graduate.It turned out to be the best class I ever had in my four years here.I wish I would have found her sooner b/c I would have liked to take other classes with her.

This course wasn't what I expected but it turned out really interesting.We covered stuff that I've never heard discussed in a class.She's not afraid to talk about sensitive topics so that makes it really interesting. It was an awesome class and she is a excellent teacher.

She makes a point of letting us know were not in high school anymore and treated us like adults.I loved her! but if u want a teacher to baby u she's the wrong person.She is very honest and some of my class couldn't deal with it. But she is also ready help if you ask and is really funny.

Classes are about to start and this will the first semester I can't take Prof. Adamski because I took everything she teaches including a reading class. I miss her already and wish I could take something else with her. She's the best.

Great professor, explains each concept clearly with numerous examples. If you take good notes in class and listen, you should earn an A. I liked how she gave numerous examples for each topic because you usually left class remembering a majority of the topics.

I started out hating her because she embarrassed me but when I admitted I deserved it the class got better.Learned more in this class than in all the other courses I took combined.She can get nasty to those who deserve it but helps those who want help.

If you take it as a FYE, its really easy, not much homework just a few 1-2page papers.

She's very easy to understand and every thing is basically great except as an FYE teacher. She makes you go to 11 fye events and have write a paper on all if them!! Definitely take her NOT as an fye though.

A good teacher who really loves what she does. However, the pace of her FYE class is slow because she gives 10 examples for one concept. Yes, this is helpful but it gets annoying. I noticed she has a bit of a studder that got on my nerves from time to time. She can be very funny at times and makes jokes. You dont use the text very much.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Ever! She is great! She seems intimidating but its just a front. Very nice, very helpful, and very interesting! Take her!!!!

I didn't lik her at first. She was scarey. But after awhile I understood what was going on and this was by far my favorite class because of her. I just wish I would have done the FYE's whem I should have but that's on me. She's the best.

Professor Adamski is one of my favorite at WIU thus far. She doesnt take any flack from students and tells it how it is. She is a stickler for being on time, so if you're late often to class I would recommend a different professor for you. She is helpful as long as you're not asking her to hold your hand through a subject. Recommend her for sure.

If you hate someone who studders, do not take her. Honestly, this was the easiest class ever. If you take a 100Y class, you have to go to 20 FYE events. Thats a lot but not too hard. She does not give a study guide, but her notes are easy to comprehend you don't need a study guide. Overall, I love this class and love this teacher. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!

Great teacher! Teaching method is perfect and relates all to the notes she gives you. You want to pay attention or she will call you out, or kick you out. She's the epitome of good teaching, and easy A's. Plenty of extra credit opportunities too. Really recommend this teacher if you want to learn something and get a good grade doing so.

She was very straight forward and she will say whatever is on her mind. Do not take her class if you cannot handle being put on the spot, she does that a lot. Homework is super easy as well as the tests. Ample opportunities for extra credit. She is funny is a crude kind of way I personally loved her. Good class.

She is a great professor! Everything you learn is based off from her lectures, so no power points or book necessary! She's only rude to the students who are irresponsible because your basically wasting your time if you don't do the work and take notes. You learn a lot of interesting stuff, and she's a funny character. Great professor!!!

I expected a better grade but that's because i'm used to getting good grades even when I don't deserve them. She makes you work for your grade but it's worth it. Her lectures are the best.

She is the best professor i've ever had. I'm not even a Sociology major. I can't take her classes next semester because i've taken everything she teaches and i'm so sad! She seems like a harass the first week of class and it's to weed out the losers and make them drop.

At first I was taken a back the very first day. She seemed like a stickler, but I stayed in the class because it was my Y class, and I'm glad I did. I love my sociology class, and she's a great teacher! I really enjoy the way she teaches the material. I'd recommend her class for any soc 100 student

Professor Adamski is absolutely hilarious! At first I thought she was going to be mean, but turned out to be my favorite professor. Her lectures are awesome and she always keeps them interesting. She makes you work for your grade, but nothing too hard. Would definitely recommend her.

She's hilarious but you have to participate. She enforces the absence rule in the syllabus and if you're phone goes off she says you you get a pop quiz (it happened in our class and she ignored it) She hates people talking during her lecture.

She is hilarious... If you are respectful of her and the class. Don't show up late because she'll blast you in front of everyone. You're in college now though, so showing up on time shouldn't be a difficult task. She takes attendance and if you have perfect attendance at the end of the semester she rewards you with extra points.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL PROFESSOR She is by far one of the most interesting professors. Her lectures are clear, concise, and hilarious. She follows the note guidelines that she posts online. She gives, for my class, 3 tests and the non-cumulative final. She allows the use of laptops in class, as long as you stay on topic. TAKE HER CLASS!

She's a good proffesor , may seem a little harsh. But she's fair and do well enough in her class and there's a possibility of you not taking a final.

amazing professor. actually loved coming to class because her lectures are interesting, funny & actually help you learn the material. graded on attendance. youll get small essays as homework assignments. she can be kind of a tough grader. exams are pretty easy though.

You will want to drop her class on the first day, don't. She is an amazing lecturer even if she's very rude most of the time. She's also hilarious and has no filter, definitely take her class
