She is the most confusing and complecated professor I have ever seen in my life. she doesnt give clear answers, and wastes alot of time in a single problem. Her test are are nothing like the homework, they take alot of time to answer a single question.
I took her class and had to drop. She's very confusing! Don't recommend her at all.
She was very unfocused and she was always lost and flustered. Personally, I think she has major psychological issues.
Terrible: no patience, takes forever to solve the harder problems on the book, sometimes even saying "I'll have it for you guys tomorrow". Her tests are long and hard, and it feels like she's a student tutor, not a professor. Drop while you can!

Quite possibly the worst math teacher ever! Tests are very hard, and she teaches the class like they're all children. Very unhelpful, too much coffee!

To pass the class you have to study a lot!!!! she know the material, her problem is that she make the lecture look harder, when is not. If you miss a class, you dont miss anything because anyway you have to teach yourself DONT DRINK COFFEE AND TEACH

She's hard, but only because she actually wants you to learn and know what you're doing. I don't think she entends to belittle anyone, it's just her way of speaking. Instead of judging her social skills, focus on the work and seek her help. She gives partial credit on the tests- which is great.

She is the nicest and friendly professor that I have ever had. She is very helpful in her office hours and in class. She looks young for her age like 20 something years old.
She says she's the Hardest Teacher in the Dept. If you don't have a strong background in Trig & Pre-Cal dont' take her. Wants you to learn everything there is about Calc so that you can go on to take Calc II and III etc. and pass any other class, lots of work if this sounds good to u take her.
She is not as hard as people say. If you pay attention, do homewotk, and ask questions you can pass the class with an A. She is very helpful during her office hours. A truley wicked woman full of audacity... Sarcastic and very unprofessional. When I began this course I was very eagar to learn and politely sought this woman out for answers to my questions. To my dismay,I was brutally insulted. She sang "If you don't know me by now, you will never never know me" When I asked her a question once in class.

Extremealy sarcastic, totally disorganized, have no knowledge whatsoever of what has ever been asked, never prepared her lecture,does not know the calculator, it is never in her office, is always late, holds her mug and don't drink nothing of her coffee, makes u feel like a completly retarded, don't !

DO NOT TAKE HER. especially if it is in the summer it will be your worst nightmare. SHe mwould probably be fine to take in spring or fall but spare yourself and do not take her if you have to take this class in the summer. do ALL the homework and you'll be okay. You have to learn most everything from the book though

She is a horrible teacher. Our class started with 21 kids and now we are only 6 left. Everyone is doing horrible. She does not care if you are learning. She gets confused a lot, and her tests are pretty hard. This is basically a self teach class. Do not take her, trust me, your GPA will suffer!
Worst teacher I have ever had. She does not know what she is doing. Everyone in my class hates her. Attendance is not mandatory but even if you attend you are better off studying by yourself. Test are hard and with few questions (5 or 7). If you miss one questions pretty much you just got a 80 in the test.
Good lady but not so good teacher. I was mediocre in math while taking her class but she goes way to fast for anyone to keep up. Her excuse is that its two classes in one semester but she still speeds through the class. One expamle fro every problem and then test and a harder level. Almost 70% droped her class
To be fair, I'll start by saying I'm pretty good at math. But the truth is, she really does know what she's doing. I had a really easy time with her, and she even helped me choose another math prof. for my next math class. Her work sheets explain everything and reviews are really, really great. I recommend her.
This professor is quite helpfull though very hard. She knows the material well and has been teaching it for over 30 years. If one is interested in learning, I recomend this professor.
Really good teacher!..everyone here that is saying bad things about her, its because they didnt want to study nor do hw. The hw is online, which is great, good way to study and its xtra credit(: Not a lot of students like her, because not many people like math and just want an easy way out. One of the worst teachers at MDC. MAC2311 is a hard class, but this teacher makes the class harder. We had about 20 kids when the class started and we finished with 5. She scared everyone off. She always comes late. I think she doesn't teach in MDC anymore.
I had her class during the summer and it was the biggest mistake of my life! Unless you are good at math and you are exceptionally prepared from your previous classes, you are good to go. Otherwise, find someone else. Seriously. This isn't a joke: if you want a good GPA and learn mathematics, do not take her class. She's late, unprepared, and rude!
She was always late. It was very hard to get thruogh her class, little time explaining and kept moving on to the next material, i took her for MAT1020 and i failed even though i completely did my 32 hours and lab work and only failed for test. If math is not your best i consider you take an easier teacher. Trust me she isnt easy as she looks.
DESPITE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT HER, SHE IS A REALLY GOOD PROFESSOR WHO TAKES THE TIME TO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL.SHE DOESNT REQUIRE THAT YOU DO THE HOMEWORK AND WE ONLY HAD FIVE EXAMS PLUS A OPTIONAL FINAL. THE ONLY THING SHE NEEDS TO WORK ON IS NOT BEING LATE. OVERALL I RECOMMEND HER.

She's very clear in her teaching, even though she can be a little sarcastic about us being in college. But she's very nice and always wants to help you understand the material. She doesn't do online homework, all her work is from the book (homework but for your own practice). She's very fun and easy going. I didn't really like algebra until now.
She's very thorough in trying to make sure her students understand but will not pardon those who don't practice with the homework. It's an easy class if you do enough work. Very fair teacher, doesn't baby you, and wants you to really understand the material. I did understand completely thanks to her.
I took her Summer A 6-week Trig class. HUGE mistake, especially since I'm bad at math. She's nice, has a great attitude, but doesn't give any breaks: homework is from the book and not not worth any extra credit, tests are 20-30 non-multiple choice questions but the review she gives are 60-80 questions. Do NOT take unless u will study EVERY night.
She goes kind of fast but I found it just fine since she has to in order to cover all the material. She's amazingly nice and emphasizes that you must practice with the homework, not mandatory but it does make a difference. She's a great teacher and any good student would find her class alright, those that are not used to independent studying would

for those of you who suck at math, this is the professor to take. she goes over everything, step by step, and answers all your questions. the tests are easy, and she wants you to pass. reviews beofre every test to make sure you understand. AMAZING!

First time writer here..she works from her notes in which you print and bring to class..she constantly refers to her staple sentence "You should have learned this in High School or in MAT1033 if not you need to go back and learn this." To be 100% honest she is not for someone who needs help in math..chose someone else of fail this class :/
Excellent teacher! she takes her time to explain slowly so you can understand. Of course you need to remember your algebra/MAT1033/MAC1105 classes. Study and go to the lab if you need extra help. Math gets harder after each class that's why we need to learn the basic. She gives 5 tests, if you pass those then you don't have to take the final exam.

First of all, the class itself is a pretty difficult class. You have to excel with algebra to get by a class like this. She is very clear and helps out a lot. She cares for her students and answers any questions you have. You must practice and study! It is not an easy A but she's a good teacher.

if math is hard for you and you need a more clear step by step guide on how to do problems then do not take her, she's very fast paced and if you ask her a question she will try to explain but will end up explaining something you didn't even ask in the beginning. very confusing.
Nice Person, but this class was a terrible experience for me. More than half of the class dropped before the withdrawal date. She is nice but wasn't clear in her lectures at all.
Save yourself the time and do not take her. I took her for the summer term and she was constantly complaining about it being too much to learn in so little. She even encouraged students to withdraw. Tests were fill in the blank and couldn't even help with multiple choice. She makes you print the notes before class and her lectures are confusing.
Please do yourself a favor and do not take her. I love math but she was very difficult to understand. She was not clear at all like she was talking in a different language and she won't help you . I am really surprised she is still teaching...

I would study and do the homework but her tests were just strange and hard to get a good grade in! She doesn't care if you fail or not at all. MAC1105 is supposed to be the easiest math class but not with her.
I wouldn't recommend her, it was a very stressful experience for me. I love the fact that she give notes for her lecture but she's goes fast and gets offended when you ask basic math questions. Okay so she isnt terrible at the en of the day but it could be better. I feel like she goes on a tangent confusing you because she tries explaining things we dont need to know. Also the lecture is good, i till a certain point. she rights on the white board and at times it gets extremely messy and its hard to understand.

She goes off topic a lot, like different maths and she consistently tells the class how much they need this and how they all should have learned this and that its elementary stuff. All she does is lecture you with basic problems but when the test come it looks like something completely different.

Difficult to understand what she is trying to explain during her lectures, she tries to explain it in 10 different ways but not 1 explanation is good, confusing. Goes on unnecessary talks about other math classes that do not apply to the class at the moment. Handwriting is very messy. Tests are nothing like what the content was about.

This professor is the worst ive had. Half of the class dropped out halfway through, and only thing she grades are the exams.
This professor made no effort whatsoever to help the students understand the material. Would not tell us what our grade was throughout the semester so we were all in the dark about how we're doing. If you're not a good test taker do not take this class. There are 4 tests that ultimately determine whether you pass.
When explaning, she makes it very hard to understand. I would not recommend taking her class, especially if you need the credits. Tests are very hard and make up most your grade.

It's really hard to get a direct answer from her when she answers your questions. She also is not very clear on what exactly you need to do for a given problem and not going step by step.
