Professor Broges is a wonderful professor. She takes time to be able to help her students. She is a very understanding person. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who needs to take this course or to even look her up if she is teaching the course that the student needs.

Honestly, she was the best math teacher i ever had, she clearly explains everything. As long as you do your homework the tests should be fine. She's also a very kind person.

she is very boring and repeats things FOREVER---but she is the easiest teacher u can take even if u cant add 1+1 she explains everything and has reveiw test which r the same thing as the test only diff #'s god bless teachers like this!!!

What a sweetheart! She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and an excellent teacher. She is clear and gets right down to the stuff you need, no other nonsense. She even tutored me after class to help me out...take her, take her, take her....no one else!!! :)

Never got the understanding of Calculus! Makes it easier to understand than other professors. Haven't taken an exam yet! So will see.........

shes the best math teacher ive ever had. explains things in a simple and broken down way, so that everyones able to unersand material and is willingly to explain after class. she really care that every1 does well and her tests are fairly simple. my only complaint would be that she goes a littl slow for me, but its good for ppl who dont get it

I'm glad I'm taking her for calculus. When she teaches, she tries to makes sure everyone is following her, and actually cares if you do not understand. I think she teaches really well , she knows what topics to spend more time on than others. The only downside is that she talks a lot. I reccomend u take her if you can! Good Luck!

An excelent professor! Explains everything clearly, and waists a lot of time going through hw problems. If you took the math regent in high school, this class is way beneath your level, and should be a breeze! Highly recommended!

3 exams in total and a final. Final counts twice. But she drops one of the lowest exam grade. She gives review problems/sheets be4 every exam. She goes over them too. If u r able to do all the review questions then you will definitely get above 90. She also goes over every hw problems. She is always willing to help. A very nice lady.

Most compassionate teacher at QC. Makes a boring subject go by fast. She speaks quick, but that helped since she basically covered 141 as well as 142. Broges makes college easy!!!

Prof. Broges is the best. She explains things well, bumps your grade up a little if you show an effort, ie come to class, put hw on the board..she wants you to do well and even holds review sessions before exams.

She is a brilliant teacher, she knows what she's dealing with and how to give it out in a more bitesize manner to digest. Now I know a student that used to study with her who got cought speaking out loud about a game while she was trying to lecture. So she reacted proffesionaly and he got upset and asked people to drop her rating (wow players)

She tries to make is easy for the students.She gives HW everynight. You have to go to class in order to understand the work. Putting up the Hw on the broad is good.She does her best to make sure you understand the work. You can ask question in the class, but its not going to be clear, ask her questions after class & she drops the lows grade.

Excellent professor. Crystal clear with explaining everything. goes at a decent pace and makes sure everyone understands the material. gave 3 tests and dropped the lowest grade. gives homework every night, buy you get extra credit if you write an example on the board. the only downside is that she takes a long time to grade tests.

Makalanda CANNOT TEACH; he just makes students happy by giving review sheets and then giving back the same thing for the exams, just the numbers changed. Broges is good

very easy class, the math is simple and she is an extremely easy grader. if you ask for help on the test she basically gives you the answer and only takes off like 2 points for it. shes a little unorganized and takes along time to return the test but if your looking to fill a requirement take this coarse!

I'm actually taking the time to write this even though she wasn't my prof because she helped me cram for the final and was awesome! My prof was a mess and Broges taught me everything i needed to know 2 weeks before the final-i sat in on all her classes and she treated me as one of her own. i legit got an 100 on the final bc of her. adelle=math god!

Definitely one of the best math teachers I've ever had. She takes the classes extremely slow and breaks down each problem and topic one step at a time. Class size is extremely small and tests are exactly like review sessions. Gives review sheet before test for you to study and is extremely reasonable. Very old and good at heart. Wonderful professor

GREAT teacher. Very helpful. Took her for 122 and 141. Came in hating math and she changed my mentality. She makes sure you understand the topic. I Highly recommend her. I would never take anyone else for 122,131 or 141. Easy Hw, Fair test, and fair final.

Professor Broges is very helpful and informative professor. Although her class can be boring, since she goes over the same type of problem multiple times, she makes sure every student understands the material.

Holy Jesus. Ms. Broges is the best teacher I ever had my whole entire life. I don't know how she does it but she is so nice, explains everything so well, practices problems so much and has so much patience with her students. She will also help you if your stuck on a test which is freaking awesome. Barely anyone participated in my class though.

She will treat you like as if your learning math for the first time. I took her for two semester. If you want to learn math and want a good great she is the person to look after. She gives 3 in class exam and Department Final. She drops the lowest score but counts the final as two exam grade. She will provide review session for the exam

Professor Brogess is hands down the best math professor at queens college. I could go so far to even say she was the best math professor in my math career! She's very accommodating to the students needs. Always always available if you have questions or need extra help. She explains things so easy. Has tons of experience teaching. The absolute best.

Best math professor on campus, easy to understand and fairly graded. You just have to show up and make sure you understand the topics, if not she explains until you understand. Professor Broges is one of the most caring Math Professors I have ever met. She provided my class a review of the final the DAY OF THE FINAL. She is truly remarkable however, she is not very good with names and a bit of a tough grader. She took off 5 points from a question I got right because I didnt add in a sentence she insisted we should write

She is seriously the best and sweetest Math prof I have ever had at QC. I do agree that it is much better if she gives the quiz at the beginning of the class. But quizzes are not a lot , there are only 3 quizzes. The lectures are very helpful and prepare you for all the homework, quizzes, and exams. Study hard and you'll do great.

This professor takes time out of class. However this prof will go over every step to make sure every student understands. If students just listen to her work and do every step with her then this class is an easy A. Three exams including final and three quizzes will determine your final grade. If you do good on Webassign hw's you'll easily pass.

Prof Broges is amazing, she knows how to teach and tries her best. Always makes sure that her students understood the topic before she moved on to another topic of the semester. I did take his class online for my SP'21 semester and it was a little difficult at times with connectivity but overall, great. She does give a lot of hw practice problems!

I took her for my first semester. At first for some reason, some classes were online and then went in person. She is so caring. Participation matters. She gives extra credits for hw if you show them on blackboard. Tries to help each of her students. But you gotta be present every day in class. She looks for everyone.

Very passionate teacher. However, she is very old school and boring in my opinion. There are 3 exams and one final.

She is very good at explaining. If you dont understand something she will explain it to you until you completely understand it. She gives extra credit homeworks. very very very kind and caring person. if you are new to math. you won't regret taking her, I have dropped 2 professors before. she one of the best professors I have had.
