Avoid taking this professor! Honestly this class was torture to sit through. The teacher has an extremely thick Nigerian accent that is very hard to comprehend. She is very unclear about assignments and when theyre due. Its not stated on the syllabus either. 2 points are taken off your attendance grade for every class you miss,Dont take this class.
DO NOT take her. She's an "exchange professor" from Nigeria and speaks terrible English. Temps grade her assignments and the class is incredibly boring and unclear. This class is a joke, and even though you only have a midterm and final, they're incredibly hard considering you havent learned anything throughout the entire class
I like her as a person, but she was such an awful professor. She didn't have a clear syllabus and expected too much of us. (We had to write an extensive research paper on older African art when artists were not attributed to their works.) It was not what I expected as a class.
It's a poor quality class. I felt as if there was no point to learn anything bc she taught in such a sporadic, confusing manner, with no assesments. None of the lectures made sense. We watched "Phat Girlz" for two classs periods and other obscure movies. We also spent whole DAYS watching youtubes. Not worth the tuition money to take this class.
Okay well the comments on here are a bit harsh. The class i do admit should be structured better for the next semester students. Her accent was not bad at all. However, her assignments were confusing and we did waste a bit of time on watching irrelevant youtube videos. I surprisingly got an A for the semester but i did work hard.
I took Art History II first and loved the class and teacher! I was looking forward to this class as well but ended up disappointed. She's not very organized and changed plans all the time without informing the class. Sitting through the class is boring, I never read the 2 books she told us to buy, managed to get an B+/A- on midterm, 100% on papers.
Avoid this teacher at all costs! Her plans always change and half the time you don't know what's going on.Sitting through the class is BORING.Her office hours are a lie.You can't meet with her at all outside of class and she won't discuss things with you, she doesn't care about the individual studentsI wish I had never taken this class with her.
Wow...I had a perfect 4.0 and I have never had issues with acomplishing this before taking this class. She edits your papers like she is an English professor when most of the document she hands out are full of grammatical errors. Her expectations and clarification of assignments are completely unclear and change on a regular basis. AVOID HER!!!!!!!
A complicated class. The textbook didn't really correspond to the in-class lectures. Classes were pretty boring but relatively easy. You have to know a lot of dates and little facts. She is hard to talk to, but I'm sure she is very nice.
I love art history, but I can't stand this class. She is difficult to understand, only gives assignments online, and never mentions them in class. The directions are always confusing and usually contradictory and when I've emailed her asking about them she either does not respond or her responses are even more confusing. HORRIBLE
I took sub-saharan african art with her. I don't know why everyone says she is such a horrible teacher... She may be a bit disorganized sometimes but the class is easy enough regardless. We never used the book, and we had group quizzes. Just show her you are really trying and she will accomodate to that.
Some of these ratings are REALLY harsh- Aderonke can be a little unclear, but she wants everyone to do well. As an art student I wish we discussed the art more than the history around the objects. As long as you listen closely, its fine. SUGGEST REVIEWING THE READINGS BEFORE DOING CLICKERS. If you just put a little time in, the exams are easy.
Probably the most frustrating GEN-ED I had all semester. If you're comfortable with learning EVERYTHING from the text, going to class for a 10 question quiz, and having all your major assignments (research papers and exams) graded by a teacher's assistant, then take this class. No laptops or cellphones allowed. I am fighting for a C. AVOID.
Day to day is discuss the reading(1-2hrs worth)from the night before then clickers(easy if you listen to discussion)then she does a PP on the chapter. We had 2 papers which were easy (I suck at writing too) most everyone got >=Bs on them. B or better on MT/Final attainable with cram session night before. Sit in the back of class because it's boring
Worst professor I have ever encountered. Not entirely sure how she maintains a career that involves interacting with humans, let alone a doctorate degree. She is completely unapproachable, not helpful in the slightest, extremely defensive about concerns and highly confrontational. Want to email her? Forget it, she will never answer you. STAY AWAY.
Her accent is so thick you can't understand her seemingly endless lectures. God help you if you can't think of enough crap to talk about for the two papers you have to write or miss the sign in sheet. I paid about 50 bucks for a clicker that we used once. The most anal grader I have ever met. Stay as far away from this professor as possible!
Do not take her. I thought she wasn't so bad at the beginning of the semester, a little hard to understand, but not too bad. AVOID. Quizzes every day, an hour or two of reading, discussion, if you don't attend you get docked crucial attendance points. Midterm? No one got higher than a 70. Paper? Highest grade was a 90. Believe the reviews, avoid.
AVOID. I only took this class because it was the very last gen-ed that was open and BOY was it a mistake. She means well, but between her thick accent, endless lectures, impossible grading, and unorganized ways, you begin to resent her. The topics she discusses could be interesting if taken with another professor. SAVE YOURSELF.
Extremely hard class. Do not take. She doesn't like questions and everything is weighted the same. The quizzes are weighted exactly the same as the midterm, which I think is ridiculous.
Here I was completely alone to learn. She offers her office hours but doesn't give feedback. NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU HAVE DISABILITY or need accommodations. Passive aggressive towards students. It's nice to see passion for art, but I was discouraged by her attitude. You read a whole chapter, discuss for 15 min, DETAILED quizzes, then she lectures.
I really hope she reads this because she is absolutely awful. Usually its possible to work around bad professors, but she is terrible. Im pretty sure JMU just took a hat and picked out names. Very unclear, rude, does not like to help. Average on the midterm was a 50. Final wasn't terrible. You're better off being taught by a tree.
Could be the worst teacher at JMU. Don't try to email or ask for clarification on your grades unless you want her to start randomly taking points off your grades. Please don't take a class with her.
Professor gives little to no instruction on assignments. Quizzes are very specific, reading is long and tedious, her lectures are very unclear and she does not offer much help after class. Her comments on papers are also unclear. She expects students to know as much as she does, which is unfair. She lacks communication skills, which are vital.
This was probably the hardest class I've taken, content is not difficult. She is extremely unclear and does not put assignments up until the day of or late the night before. There is no rubric for papers and assignments so it's your word against hers. I do not recommend, if taking for a GenEd do yourself a favor and drop the class.
NOT helpful at all, even after going to her office hours multiple times for clarification, she just danced around my question without answering it. Not clear in class, lectures were incredibly boring. Even after the final my final grade was .1 away from a C and she would round. Not accommodating. Not clear. Do not recommend. STAY AWAY.
This professor is by far one of the most challenging I have worked with at JMU. She does not seem to respect student learning or allow for mistakes. The class environment is high pressure, with constant reminders that our participation grade is being considered. Usually an A student and barely scraped out a B. Find a different Gened.
Her syllabus is so unclear and she doesn't communicate well at all. Walked into class the other day and she said she had assigned a quiz and a total of 2/30 people knew about the quiz. The class average was a 10/50. She doesn't offer any guidance on assignments even if you go see her and is rude when you try and you ask.
She is very knowledgeable in the area she teaches, but she has very poor lecturing skills. She writes about 10% of what she says (which is difficult to understand at times) on the board (which is hard to read). I do not recommend the class because her syllabus is unclear, she grades too harshly, and for what few papers there are you get bad grades.
Not very helpful. Fairly rude actually. Lectures are scattered. Writes random words on the board the entire class. It can be hard to understand what she is saying through her accent. Grades very harshly. If you don't know as much as she does, you won't get an A. Doesn't accept late assignments, don't try to talk to her. You'll only offend her.
Oh wow she's awful. Run. I made the mistake of thinking art history would be enjoyable. I was wrong. She is passive aggressive, the weighting of grading is the dumbest thing ever. She expects you to hate her and treats you poorly. She is no help, I went to see her and she was rude and unhelpful. I think this class is my own personal hell. Kill me.
Dr. Adesanya is a wonderful woman. Sure, she's not the easiest to understand but once you get past that her lectures are amazing! She really knows what she's talking about and wants her students to learn. She might come off as harsh sometimes but as long as you do the work and don't slack off in class you'll have no problem getting along with her!
SHE KNOWS HER STUFF. It is kinda hard to get a good grade in this class if you don't put in work. Attend and participate for some easy points. There was no final but we had a final project (yay!). If you listen in class an take notes (reeeeeeaaaaddddd) you should be good!
Bleh. The material was easy, but the professor actually made it more difficult. She's incredibly hard to understand not only because of the accent, but she just has poor communication skills. So many people misses assignments or didnt realize when things were due. Kept questioning why students werent understanding - bad communication skills!!!!!!!!
Literally the worst professor i think I've ever had. She could be one of the most cold-hearted people here at JMU. I would not recommend her to absolutely anyone. DO NOT TAKE HER avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!! She's hard to understand, just lectures and expects you to know prehistoric art, and does not give any helpful hints.
Although she is a very tough grader, she did not seem rude or unhelpful in the slightest. Her grading/ tests were difficult, but gives you the option to combine your individual test with a group test & gives you the best grade out of the two if they are very different. In my own experience she was very nice when I asked questions and was helpful.
If she had any semblance of organization, she would not be terrible. However, her lectures are very scattered and hard to understand sometimes. She grades quizzes very harshly and takes points off of papers for arbitrary and nitpicky reasons. In addition, she is very strict about attendance. Don't take her for an easy gen-ed.
Her accent is very thick so she is hard to understand. Her lectures didn't really align with the book and she was a harsh grader. I love art history but this class was difficult due to her accent, grading, and lack of a specific guideline for the class. Our midterm and final were taken in groups, so if you get a bad group your grade will drop alot.
Her thick accent took some getting used to, but there's more. She expects you to live by the syllabus; so you should know how to do everything and when it needs to be turned in. No in class warnings about when an assignment is coming up. Also, she asked for 2 inch margins on the top/bottom of a paper and then dissed me for wasting space. Have fun.
This professor is obviously a highly intelligent human being in this field of academia and study. She does not go off a rubric or notes when lecturing, which is in and of itself quite impressive. But that is where the pros end. Her lack of organization, clarity, skill in explanation, and over all grading logic is unrivaled. Don't waste your time.
I love Aderonke! I had to get use to her accent at first but overall great teacher. Please do well on the few assignments she does assign and please show up to class because if you don't you are doomed to fail. Also, lectures can be long but please also take notes. I learned a lot and sometimes she can be very funny.
Very heavy accent, but after a while you get used to it, and if you don't, everything she says is in the textbook (it's a lifesaver). Only 2 tests and 3 papers that can be done the night before they're due. If you show up and study for the tests, you'll pass.
Dont skip class unless 100% necessary, attendance is graded. She didnt do group exams for my class so thats not a given if you take her. Dont take to fill the gen ed, my major required this class so I didnt really have a choice. Overall I liked the class but thats because I love art, shes also very hard to understand during lecture.
the absolute worst teacher ever. She was so mean to her students.
First of all, you cannot understand a word this woman says, her accent is so heavy its impossible. When you don't understand her, she gets angry. Second, you can't miss even ONE class without your attendance grade going down. Lastly, she is so cold and rude. Take any class over her, I've never disliked a class so much.
Prof Adesanya is rude, but has good intentions. I really can't understand her due to her accent. Clearly she is passionate, but her lectures are kind of unorganized. Sometimes she just writes things on the board and moves on and I don't know what it means. Essay assignments and tests have errors and corrections are very unclear. Avoid at all costs!
Dr Asanya is hands down the rudest professor I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable on her subject, and is has informative slides, but her lectures are VERY unclear, though not as unclear as her syllabus. DO NOT ask questions in her class because she will embarrass you for it no matter how relevant the question. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
Clearly she is a bright and very passionate woman, but she has the wrong attitude for teaching. She is abrasive and loves humiliating students in class. Her lectures are confusing, disorganized and irritating since she is so rude. I dreaded this class every day, and her strict attendance meant we couldnt skip. Tests are hard get ready to study.
Stay away from this woman. She has absolutely no idea how to teach a class, refuses to answer questions, and does not want to help you. Her directions are always so unclear and dont bother emailing her because she wont respond. She also grades super harsh on short answer quizzes and theres no room for error.
She does take everything very seriously. Don't laugh in class, don't look at others, don't have your phone out. She likes when you ask questions. She tends to talk fast and repeat herself, but it is hard to understand her. The lectures can be hard to follow because not much information is given on each slide so pay attention.
Don't take this professor. She's rude and strict. She rarely gave a helpful reply to my emails. After the pandemic, she wasn't accomodating to students who were in different time zones. My final exam was at 7:00 in the morning, so I can't imagine what it was like for students on the West Coast or abroad. She made a Gen Ed too difficult. AVOID HER.
I don't know how this woman is still employed. She finds questions rude and gets offended when you ask for clarification. She is very disrespectful to students and I have received many rude emails when I was asking for help or clarification. She also grades on opinion and not fact so beware. Avoid this class at all costs if you respect yourself.
Do not take this class! I took this class last semester and she was rude a harsh grader, and overall a bad Professor. I have never had a ruder professor and someone who did not care about the students. For a gen ed course, it was a way to difficult and she took the class way too seriously.
She is by far the most frustrating teacher I have ever had. Class lasts an average of 5 minutes and then she sends you off to watch long videos of her lecturing. if you ask for clarification for a paper or any sort of question you will be berated and attacked for not knowing. Grading in this class is VERY harsh with a class average of D on quizes
Assigned discussion posts before the lectures were posted. Usually required research to complete, and only after completion would the lectures on what we wrote about be posted. So, really no point in watching her 2 hour lectures. Would always upload assignments due early in the morning late at night. Heavy accent, and sessions in class were short.
Professor Adesanya is a really tough grader and there's only a handful of assignments for the semester. She's a little hard to understand but you should get the hang of it although I would try to find a different professor for this class.
Do not take this professor if you can avoid it. She is not easy to understand and grades harshly. She expects you to ask questions but if you don't, she gets mad and if you do, she treats you like you're incompetent. She will answer your questions not correctly and she does not answer her emails. Better ones out there!
Im an A nursing major student- do not take this class!!! She is the most unfair grader and expects you to do 2 long discussion post a week that would take me over an hour each, somehow have read 60pgs of our textbook, and watch her prerecorded lectures. You will not be taught anything and professor Adesanya is rude on top of all of that.
With the class being online, she expected an insane amount of work per week. Very picky about paper topics and you have to get them approved before writing. Conducts class for too long and then send you to watch an hour long lecture. She also conducted class and lecture during our exam period which I'm pretty sure is not allowed. Avoid taking her.
Avoid this class. The quizzes are ridiculous and she grades papers ridiculously. They're graded entirely based on opinion and she'll correct your grammar INCORRECTLY. Very knowledgeable about her subject, but she's so confusing regarding what she expects you to do. If you're looking for an easy gen-ed, this isn't it.
She is nice as long as you show effort, but over all a tough grader. Hard to understand during lectures, but they come mostly from the textbook. Overall she clearly cares about the course material, but is a no b.s. type of professor
Thought the class was going well, but it became apparent to me at the end that this was not the case. She can not communicate to save her life, I would warn anyone and everyone to take another class
The WORST professor I have ever had. She is rude, unaccommodating, and extremely incompetent as a professor. Some people should not teach, and she is one of them. I have NEVER written a review on here, but my experience in her class was so awful that I felt compelled to warn other students. She is HORRIBLE.
This is the hardest gen ed - she is very rude, and does not give clear guidelines for any assignments. You will be ridiculed for asking things she has "already explained in the syllabus" despite confusing details and unclear guidelines. She includes information she has not covered on quizzes and tests and a C+ is considered "great work" by her.
one of my least favorite teachers ever. there is a discussion due before every class that takes way too much work for not a lot of credit. she will make you feel so incompetent and stupid. don't even think about asking a question in class because she will say that you werent listening. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!
She's a very sweet professor, but her class is too hard. She grades largely on grammar and punctuality instead of focusing on the point of your writing. Asking questions can lead her to believe you either weren't paying attention or you're just dumb. Again, she's very sweet and if you get on her good side, you're probably set.
Save yourself and do not take her class. From the start, she was very passive-aggressive and disrespectful towards students if they asked her questions. It is unclear what is expected of the students and she grades harshly. To add on, she barely grades anything until the end of the semester when the feedback is too late to apply to the course.
She is the sole reason why I decided to make an account on ratemyprofessor. She is extremely rude to her students and sometimes calls students out in class because she assumes that they weren't paying attention. Her grading is unfair, and her papers are not given until the end of the semester so you can't use feedback. You can't understand as well.
Professor Adesanya is the rudest person I have ever met! She comes off as nice in general conversation, but you soon realize that it is a facade. She does not care about her students and makes you feel horrible about yourself.. Please DON'T take her class unless you want to be humiliated in class and belittled!
In class, Professor Adesanya will either spend an extremely long time or hardly any time on note slides. This makes it very difficult to take notes. She assigns discussion boards every class, and she will publicly critique your responses. She often ignores raised hands, and when someone asks a question, she'll almost always answer condescendingly.
JMU, DO BETTER! Professor Adesanya is extremely degrading when you ask questions in class and grades based off opinion. In her office hours she made me cry by telling me my confusion on the material was my own fault and that she was not going to help me. She is carless.
Awful, just awful. Kicked me out of a quiz that I was taking because I was not in class even though I was the only person who took the quiz in class the previous time. Not helpful at all, expects you to remember extremely specific details and takes points off everything and proceeds to correct you by leaving comments paraphrasing your answers.
There is A LOT of work to do out of class. Lectures are painfully boring, but attendance is required. I missed class 1 time and my entire grade dropped by 3 points. Midterm is easy enough, but the quizzes are impossible. I only passed them because I had the online textbook and could "cheat." She also takes a long time to grade papers.
I have never had such an unorganized and genuinely mean teacher. She is super confusing when teaching, explaining expectations, or generally regarding her attitude. I have seen her publicly call out students and embarrass them several times this year. The content is very interesting to me but the teacher makes this class miserable and stressful.
She is a harsh grader, horrible at canvas (and anything related on online), and overall just has a lot of miscommunications in class regarding the syllabus. DBQ central and very few grades so then everything is weighted heavily. I've had her so many times for art history and her class never gets easier.
Very heavy on discussion boards based on textbook. Attendance grades. Lectures are interesting but somewhat difficult to take notes as she kind of goes fast. Combative if you try to meet with her outside of class or she perceives you to not be paying attention. Wouldn't take this class if you have a hard semester but def doable.
This professor completely sucks and has been the main reason why I was stressed throughout the semester. I had asked her questions that could have been answered as "Yes or No", and completely deflected anything I ask regarding her course. Throughout her lectures, do not even bother on asking questions for help, because she does not answer it.
Continuing on, DO NOT even bother to ask questions during lecture, because she does not even answer it. She skips around questions and her exams are never organized nor set right. SO much for TRIPLE A right? This may come off as harsh but that is exactly what the class is. She does not care about her students and makes us feel dumb.
Awful experience! Hardest teacher I have ever taken. Take another professor because the subject is cool and if you can't, choose a different class.
such a hard grader and expects you to recite word from word what the correct answers are on the tests. 2 discussion boards due each week. attendendance is mandatory. she will call you out in front of the whole class if she sees you on phone. tests are multiple choice and short answers and it is super hard to get full credit for them. also goes fast
Professor Adesanya is knowledgeable about her field, however she is a terrible teacher. She openly humiliates students and makes it impossible to do well in her class. Lots of work, very unorganized, not very receptive to students when asked questions or for help. Do not take her.
Adesanya is Knowledgeable in her field but not open to student feedback. Tests are difficult unless you know what she wants to hear word for word. She does not respond to emails in a timely manner. She openly belittled students in class in front of the class. She is difficult to speak to and can be difficult to understand due to her accent.
She made stupid decisions while grading my papers and was just very harsh. She had awful directions and seemed to want to give you a bad grade.
Simply terrible. Avoid.
I'm frankly astonished at how she is a professor at this school considering she lacks the BASIC qualities one would expect from an educator. Empathy and approachability are just some of these qualities that she so clearly lacks. She is unbelievably condescending when you do not understanding/have a question, and sometimes has short outbursts. -1/10
Professor Aderonke was great this semester! I recommend paying attention during lectures and READING the syllabus. She clearly labels all exams and papers months in advance for you. People in my class didn't like her because of her accent, take the class if you have an interest, not just for Gen Ed credits.
Professor Adesanya knows a lot about the subject but do NOT take her unless you are willing to be degraded and mocked. Not sure why the review below said people did not like her because of her accent because that seemed to be the least of anyone's issues. People do not like her because of the way she treats her students. Avoid at all costs.
Mean. Condescending. Grades both papers at the end of the semester. Grades harshly and based on opinion. Attendance required and will tank grade. Does not respond to questions or emails. Discussion boards required and never utilized. At the end of the semester, there are 5 grades, including your attendance grade. Avoid. This. Class.
I did enjoy the content of the class but she was a difficult professor. Her grading can be unfair and she doesn't elaborate on any information that couldn't be found in the textbook. Her tests are weird and oftentimes have incorrect questions and she won't teach you how to write the analysis papers she asks of, leading to a lower grade.
DO NOT TAKE HER!!! The worst class I have ever taken. She grades unfairly and incorrectly, especially with essays. Her tests and quizzes are extremely difficult and can have incorrect information. She doesn't offer any info that couldn't be found in the textbook. Boring lecturer and zero compassion if you fail something. Avoid her!!!
The worst teacher at JMU. Never take her horribly taught class.
Genuinely every single negative review on this professor's page is accurate. If you're considering taking this class, don't. She is rude and doesn't give feedback (or even a grade) between the essays. She is extremely vague in her requirements for essays, and often contradictory. Staying after class and getting clarification often was not helpful.
Triple A isn't too bad. She can be hard to understand, but she is nice, caring, and funny. There are two research papers, a midterm, discussion boards, quizzes, and a final. Tough class, but bearable. Attendance is a grade.
Triple A is a very nice, funny, and determined teacher. She is very knowledgeable about the subject and tries her best to bring good energy. She is hard to understand, and discussion boards are a heavy part of the class. Overall, she is a good professor.
Most degrading professor I have ever had.Yelled at me when I went to office hours and told me I was incompetent. I was APPALLED at how she treated one of my classmates during a class. DO NOT take her unless you are willing to be criticized and screamed at. She must have personal issues going on in her life that she takes out on students.
Aderonke Adesanya is a nice person but not good at engaging the class with her students. She talks for the whole lecture and can be hard to understand. The lectures do not help with the research papers or quizzes which make up the entire grade, no other assignments. She does not give you enough assignments to help exam/papers grades.
Very lecture heavy, all she does is talk and it's very hard to understand her. Id say its a good class if your just trying to get a Gen Ed done and don't want a whole lot of work which also means she will only be grading exams, test, quizzes and attendance. We have never had homework and have been asynchronous a few times. YOU CANNOT SKIP.
Extremely rude.
Professor Adesanya was EXTREMELY unorganized. All assignments, course pdfs, reading, and PowerPoints were kept in one big file on canvas, not organized by date, and not clearly labeled. She is also extremely strict with turning things in on time and doesn't make any exceptions, but does not grade anything for almost two months the deadline.
In general I do not think she is as bad as the other ratings make her sound. I do agree that does grade pretty tough and look for very specific things. Additionally, she is a very slow grader (1-2 months late). However! She is very passionate about what she teaches which makes it a bit more interesting.
There are 3 quizzes, a midterm, 2 research papers, and a final. That is all. Her accent is really hard to understand so note taking is almost impossible. She grades on very specific criteria that is not explained well enough which introduces a level of unfairness. I don't suggest taking this class for a gen ed req.
I have never had a professor be quite this condescending. Tests on aspects of the material that are completely irrelevant to the topic. don't bother approaching with questions, you will be laughed at. Had us take quizzes on entire units that hadn't been covered in class on days that were randomly online. Avoid.
worst professor ever. I honestly am disappointed at JMU for having her as a professor. She taught nothing useful for material. Graded so hard on the research papers and was rude. She honestly should not be a professor if she is going to be that rude and unorganized. Don't take this class even if its last resort unless you want to tank your GPA.
Very strict and harsh grader
Professor Adesanya can be tough, but if you engage with the class, it's manageable. The lectures cover the textbook well, and the assignments, while challenging, are valuable. unstuck ai was a lifesaver for quiz prep. Overall, a demanding but rewarding course.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS AS A FRESHMAN!!!!! If I could warn anyone about ONE professor in the whole school, IT WOULD BE HER!!!!! Barely any assignments to grade, and the ones we have are ALL papers/tests. She grades papers like no tomorrow, and her lectures are SO content heavy and make no sense. If you are struggling in the first week DROP THE CLASS
AWFUL. DO NOT TAKE. you see the other ratings. LISTEN TO THEM. TOOK AS A FRESHMAN AND NEVER AGAIN. actually traumatizing and would probably have gotten a good grade if I didn't have her as the professor.
Worst teacher I have ever had. Her lectures are excruciatingly long and boring. She expects you to memorize every word she says for quizzes that have multiple essay questions. If you are seriously interested in art history, she might be a decent professor, but if you are looking for a gen ed credit, DO NOT TAKE HER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE
literally the worst professor in the WORLD. if you are one class short of graduating i wouldn't even take this class with this professor.
