This prof. Is the worst one ever. I passed her class and ACT Test as well , but I didn't get any kind of help from her. She was returning our projects after one month, sometimes after two month. So I wasn't able to know how I was improving. If you ask question she will never respond with answer. That 3 month was awful I her class.

I did all the work and got 90 to 100 on all my tests and she gave me a b plus. She is strict. If you're late even for a second, you're marked absent. You will be treated like a little child. She has no respect for anyone. She speeds through lessons and expects perfect accuracy, even though she's far from accurate herself! AVOID HER

Not an understanding professor doesn't care about student or their grade . Teaching techniques difficult, bad attitude and can be very rude.

I wouldn't recommend no one to take her class. She gives a lot of work for a non-credit class. She doesn't care helping students. Whenever you will ask her for help she would get mad. Avoid her. I'm saying this because I took her course before and I wouldn't recommend no one to take her course

She will still fail you .please avoid her .if she's the last option you have to b in your schedule wait till another semester to take someone else . I saw ALL the comments of people who have had bad experiences with this professor but I saw that some people were able to get through and still succeed. I entered this class as optimistic as possible and did everything I could. This professor is hands down the furthest thing from understanding. Extremely Tough Grader.. AVOID HER AT ALL COST.

I believe you we are in college to learn. in this class she makes you feel like your on your own, she say one thing and do another. She not always clear about what she wants us to do and she makes excuses for her poor actions. this professor is very rude and disrespectful. I would never recommend her class to anyone.

She is extremely rude to her students and makes you feel dumb when you answer questions. The answers to her questions have to be worded exactly the way she would or it's wrong. Never responds to her emails so if you happen to miss a class, your best bet is talking to a classmate. If you miss class she is very passive aggressive towards you.

Do not take her class even if your life depended on it. She never clear with her instructions and always have something sarcastic to say when youre late or confused. I dont understand why she still have a job honestly. She is not a helpful teacher pls dont take her class.

She is rude with her students, and has a sarcastic attitude all the time, you are always afraid she's going to roast you for something. The instructions she gives are not clear and she assigns a lot of homework. One time she roasted me because I drink too much water and I went to the bathroom twice (it was summer)

Do not take her class please. If you do not have more options, please wait do not take her class. She is not professional. I do not know how Laguardia has this terrible teacher. She is very unprofessional. I took that class by mistaken and I didnt know about this page. She is unhelpful, if you have any issues with blackboard she would send you to someone else but doesnt give the opportunity to do the work again. Dont take this class if you want to learn in a good environment.

I can say that to never tak her a class and I'm so wondering why she deserves teaching even she doesn't know how the exams and homework assignments looks like. Her class was full of confusion and I was always sad when I had a class with her. Please, never take her class.

Really hard to understand her and doesn't explain anything properly. You cant leave from ZOOM without permission, even if you have emergency (send message to get permission, which she take long time to respond). Sent you to waiting room, if you are late to class and move away from camera during class even for few seconds. Be ready for worst memory.

Worst teacher ever , Never saw a teacher like this before

I would use these qualities such as impatient,uncaring and unprofessional to describe this professor.Her lectures are very confusing and she does often forgets important information a lot during her class.But then she gets annoyed if you are confused too and ask her any question.Her lack of efforts will never helps you to learn anything.

This lady still works at this college. Had her years ago. She called a girl a b word in my class. Girl called her one back. We reported her they praised her. Smh. She even failed the class for using a stapler cause she only liked clips. She was mean and could not ask her anything. Idk why she still works there. Many complaints.

Do not take her class... She's very impatience and unprofessional. Her lectures are so confusing and she gets annoyed when you ask a question. She literally will make you quit school. i was lost most of the time her assignment instruction is very unclear.

and on many occasions, I even doubted myself. I tried to meet with her and improve everything, but she only became defensive when I spoke with her on Zoom, misinterpreting everything to make me feel stupid. Finally, I'll say that she's a hopeless teacher, and my only advice is for her to retire. She doesn't seem to teach with love or love her job

What an absolute horrendous professor to deal with. Never have I ever got C in my Secondary and High school. In addition, I never got C in my college until I met my Prof. Okomba. I would like to express my gratitude to prof. from the very bottom of my heart for making lectures difficult and not responding to the questions properly.

everyone was confused is her class, always forget to tell important information and makes lots mistakes but she allow students make 0 mistakes ,she gets annoyed when students ask her questions.

She would tell everyone to come to her for help and when we did. She would be not helpful at all. Instead of giving us advice on what to do she would just say its wrong and tell us the same exact error that we made on our essay.

Professor Okomba is a very incompetent professor, she should not be employed at Laguardia Community, She does not know how to teach students and has an authoritative way of giving lessons. She gets easily agitated when students ask for help with their essays and lessons. Please avoid her as much as possible because she fails most students.

She never thinks about student problems. Only she does not take the class friendly. If you just miss your zoom Metting appointment, next time you won't be able to make appointment with her. But I still remember one day I was waiting almost 1 hour on zoom Metting, but she didn't show up. I don't know why college doesn't see those comments about her

Their classes are difficult to understand, very bad methodology.

I had to retake this class because of this professor. She was extremely rude and made students feel uncomfortable in class. She often spoke to students in a harsh way, which made the class feel tense and uncomfortable. I hope future students can have a better learning environment and more support from the instructor.
