Wow. Definately the BEST class ever. I took her maymester ONLINE. A two week internet course sound like hell, right? Nope. I fell behind because I hadn't realized it was a maymester. I pretty much did the whole class in 4 days. SUPER EASY. Miss S is SUPER nice. By far the easiest 3 credits I have ever earned. Best part about it, I still learned!!!

Took this class in Maymester as well, and it was sooo easy! I finished all the work and exams in the first week. I did the final project while I was on vacation in Miami! That's how easy this class is online! She is a straight forward professor, no confusion at all!

Aditi Samarth is a great professor, very open minded. Her classes are very easy.Her test are moderate, as long as you have the notes you'll do just fine. All I did was look over the notes and the rest was just a piece of cake. The requirements are just super easy 3 journal essays, 2 test, and a presentation. Only bad thing is extra credit is trips

Let's just put it this way: I took her class and failed. Then I took that same class again because she's THAT awesome of a teacher. The failing was my fault; missing quizzes & journal entries, skipped a lot, had hang overs, etc. You WILL learn something interesting in that class. Plus, she didn't hate me for failing her class once. NO TEXT BOOK!

FREAKING AMAZING!!! She really nice and loves her students. She grades pretty easy too. 3 journals (completion grade) go to museums, lots of extra credit, and if u come to school and pay attention you should pass with flying colors.

I chose this teacher based on comments posted here.It was my first internet class & I don't know if I'll take one again. Not only was a book required but every ch. is 30-40 pgs long. Not reading=missing alot of the questions. Quotes are taken from the book but are not verbatim so beware. READ, OUTLINE, HIGHLIGHT and READ again before testing.

Professor Aditi was a blast. This class is just too easy. Some of the comments are very false(trust me). She is the easiest teacher I have taken a Richland College. She is very respectful and loves what she does. Just be attentive and motivated and you will do fine.

Sad to say I had Aditi for only half a semester. Goes off-topic and cover only part of the syllabus, but sincerely tries to interest students, and has great insight into art. Paper: view a specific art exhibit at the DMA and write analysis and opinion. Test and class are easy, IF you study your notes and scan each paragraph of the book. Good prof.

Amazing teacher; she's hilarious! She doesn't make the class difficult. Just show up, do the assigned work, and study a bit for the tests. The main thing is that you MUST talk in her class, she finds it really annoying when no one answers/gives opinion.

She is a great teacher. Explains all the concepts clearly, with a lot of enthusiasm. The review sessions will tell you what?s on the test. Lots of extra credit. I don?t think anyone has ever failed her class.

I loved this class! Ms. Samarth is so energetic and full of energy! It's never boring in her class. Also, there is not much classwork/homework. Instead, there are class discussions over the stories & articles we are assigned to read. There are (of course) a few quizzes, tests, & 1 project. Just make sure to pay attention & you will make an A!

Mrs. Samaratha is one of the most inspirational teachers here at Richland.Thankfully, she teaches Humanities and Culturies. I had an wonderful opportunty to take her CULT 2370-Cultural Studies class. She will teach you fascinating things about the Middle Eastern literature (Ex.Kahlil Gabran and Rumi)art, and culture. You will love it.

She is an excellent teacher who is veryknowledgeable about the Middle Eastern Culture, religion, art, and literary works, which she will cover in Class.I enjoyed the wonderful literature works of Kahlil Gabran.This Cultural Studies(CULT 2370) class was much better than I expected. What an amazing learning experience.

Top 3 teachers of all time!!! I just finished her cultural studies of the middle east and it was the best class. You will never have a boring time and we actually have great class discussions. Class was geared towards Middle Eastern studies. It turned out to be VERY interesting and educational. Lots of open discussions which were fun. One midterm and a final; one research paper with a presentation. Attendance is the key to getting an A bc of random quizzes and essay final/midterm. No hw besides the occasional reading from the text. Great

I've almost cried 4 times in this class b/c of the beautiful lectures, such as on morality & arete, the 8 spoked wheel & Buddhism, and Ghandi. Read the hand outs. Very nice professor. As long as you read the handouts you will do well. There is no textbook, which can be great and terrible at times. But overall, she is a great professor, just pay attention and class and don't be afraid to TALK! She loves participation. A+ for her!

I had Aditi for huma last spring,and I love the way she teaches because its beyond the books and instead from her heart.Make sure to at least skim through all the readings.For final,a lot of Q's she made up were from class presentations.Didn't teach the material,so I felt as if it was unfair for her to test over it.Made an A, so its all good! :)

Not the most difficult class, but Prof. Samarth is effective at making you THINK. Though Asian & Middle Eastern focused, individual presentations allow research into other areas. I learned as much about being an effective teacher as I did about humanities from Ms. Samarth. The class is a chance for personal growth, if you are willing to work.

Prof. Samarth is one of the best professor in Richland. I had so much fun in her class that I cannot explain. In her class you are not going to have just fun, also you will learn lot of things that is not just on textbook. I have to say, if I can take any other class with her, I will be happy to take it.

Grate teacher, keeps things interesting with interesting topics. If you do take this class be sure to have plenty of printer paper theres no book but you have to print out your own handouts. Test are easy, just be in class and listen to lecture and you should be fine.

I wanted to take a course in Art Appreciation and wasn't really sure what to expect. This was an online class and I loved the course! The instructor is very responsive and attentive to the students. If you do your quizzes & assignments you should do well.

She is very helpful and knows her subject well. Very easy to score in the quizzes and projects are simple. Takes interest in the students and in class debates/ discussions makes this class lively, entertaining and fruitful.

took class that focused on china studies. she is a brilliant woman and professor. I would highly recommend taking a class with her but be prepared for a REAL college experience.

Just took her online flex term class. 2 tests (materials are mostly from quizzes), 2 discussion boards, 1 comparative paper. Easy in grading, quick in returning emails, clear in instruction. It's just that you have to read basically the whole book, so you have to be interested in Arts to be able to finish your reading. Highly recommended.

She's a really great teacher. Sometimes talks in circles and she wrote her own book. Notes is key to her test and she gives quizes that you have to pass and memorize inorder to pass. Aditi Samarth is an extraordinary teacher with a wonderful character. She is pretty well energetic and has an emence knowledge of the mateial(she actually wrote the book.) I took her on May term and got an A. I highly recomend this teacher.

She is a good teacher. She takes attendance and provides study guides for her tests. It really bothered me that she wouldn't end class on time, always 5-10 minutes after class was supposed to end. Pretty easy teacher though.

This class is my favorite class i have taken here at Richland. The professor makes you feel comfortable in class. There truly is no such thing as a stupid question in her class.The projects assigned are not difficult but do require research. She makes class fun and exciting!

Professor Samarth is a true sweetheart. She loves art and makes it so interesting. This class is impossible to fail. She wrote the book you need for class. There are worksheets inside for each chapter you have to fill out; which she answers most during her lecture powerpoint. Two attempts for tests and 3 essays of 250 words.

Professor Aditi is incredible! I always looked forward to our class discussions because they were always interesting, fun, and full of a variety of perspectives. She is helpful, caring, and understanding as well as fun and outgoing. And you can basically find most of the answers in her presentations. I would definitely take this class again. :)

Your gonna work but learn.

I took her class for summer 1 and there were discussion boards and test that the answers came straight from the book. The discussions board had to be detailed but over all if you do the work there is no reason you wouldn't get an A

I took her for summer 1 online and as any flex term classes it was fast paced. There was a lot of homework but nothing too hard or that couldn't be done. I got an A and just did all the work but the test were a bit hard Expect you got 2 try's so by the second time you know some of the answers

Good classroom atmosphere for all kinds of discussion topics. You have exams that come straight from the text-work book. a class presentation and a museum paper. Not too much or not too little work. But you'll learn about world cultures.

Not an easy class. Readings, writing, exams, essay, presentation, museum visit, workbook and she checks your work. Be ready to work.

She really enjoys her subject. She has traveled the world & always has an extremely interesting story & perspective on every chapter you learn about. One thing I didn't like about the class was the text book, there were too many typos. Very easy class to make an A. Make sure you participate & complete your ch. assignments. There will be essays!

Professor Samarth is an incredibly gifted and attentive teacher. Her approach to teaching is firm but fair. She gives you all the tools and materials you need to succeed in this class, if you don't pass, it's on YOU. Ms. Samarth is attentive and steadfast, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions you have!

You will need a textbook to pass, but if you follow instructions its an easy class.

I just finished an online flex-term course with Prof. Aditi. She was prompt in grading and in responding to all e-mails. It's not an easy class - 12 quizzes, 2 exams, 4 discussions and a project. But I learned a lot about many new cultures and art. It's a truly college course.

The class is a wonderful class. She is very fair when grading and assigning assignments. She is always thoughtful of others when assigning and grading. Keep her updated if youre going to miss class, she will always understand. She does group work and uses an online version of the text book. There is not a lot of work.

I took Dr. Aditi's Humanities course in May. The course is clearly laid out and the syllabus outlines all the policies. She follows the syllabus. 8 quizzes, 4 discussions and 8 peer discussions, a paper and a project. The content is very interesting and was new for me. She grades within 24 hours which helps in the next discussion. Good feedback.

Took 1302 and 2319 online courses. It's college courses, so expect to read and write. She has high standards but is quick in responding to emails, grades within a day and is helpful. The negative remarks about summer courses here are because summer courses are very fast and you need to keep up. You learn a lot in her class.

One of my favorite profs thus far! Less than 10 assignments due over the course of the spring semester, but they were all worth a large chunk of my final grade. At first this class seemed very overwhelming, but then once I got into it I really enjoyed it. So far Discussion Boards are a little lengthy but not too hard. I am taking this class online and I would reccomend others to do so. Also, the Professor responds in a timely manner to emails and is very friendly.

Class material was easy to understand and there was clear grading criteria. Only issue is that the class moves incredibly fast and you take multiple quizzes and discussion boards weekly, so you need to have a calendar just for this class. She grades fairly and has easy to follow guidelines for grading. Expect a lot of busy work.

Took this as a flex term it was very fast passed. There is always something due as you would expect during flex terms. Very easy to get a hold of and a generous grader. Clear requirements on Discussion boards. Some Discusion boards were very long and time consuming. You do need to stay on top of due dates as she accepts no late work.

When I took humanities I thought it would mostly be about history about Islam but I was wrong it got more interesting and prof. Samarth was very helpful and and a great professor to have because I learned so much about Islam in those 16 weeks I would take her again if I wanted to. Also, she believes in superstitions like me like Friday the 13th.

I took Dr. Samarth's Humanities class on Islamic Studies. I found the course very informative and organized. She was very responsive to any questions and enjoyed the material chosen in place of a textbook. Since I took a mini-mester the workload was heavy but expected and manageable. She is a great profs she lets you make up things past due date if you ask there just alot of discussion boreds. you have to take a quiz after each lesson and one last final paper.

She was always upbeat and very enthusiastic to teach, which made for amazing lectures and a great atmosphere. The class is great. It is a class where you listen and write notes for the homework, or quiz. She is very organized on the due dates and the lesson of the day. I do suggest following instructions and asking the professor any questions. Overall, this class is very clear, and straightforward in the lesson and due dates.

This class was amazing, I have learned so much about the Arab and Muslim culture while also being able to enjoy it without there being any boring lectures or notes. These assignments are quite simple and to the point, she even lets the class decide when things will be due.

Professor Samarth Is great; her lectures are excellent. If you take notes in class, you will do good on the end of the chapter quizzes. There are also a few Discussion Boards, but nothing significant. Her grading is very generous. Do the Discussion Board and quizzes on time, and you will do fine.

My experience in this class was very smooth and laidback. She is very helpful and pays attention to her students. The Discussion Boards are pretty long but we don't have many and they aren't due back to back. A lot of research in this class but it's very informative but I would take this class again!

Professor Samarth is so caring, and very personable. She has most of the things on the quizzes in the lectures, but reading will help you a lot more. Most of the work was extremely light, and very easy to complete. If you need more time to complete an assignment, just tell her about it. She will most likely extend the due date for you.

This was my first online class in the summer which made me nervous and I got several due dates mixed up and submitted the wrong assignment and in all the wrong tabs. She was really patient and repeatedly told me not to worry and to focus on learning. She accepted my written work for the due date but then showed me how to use that tool on ecampus..

The summer online class was fast-paced but she laid out all the due dates well in advnace. She gives clear instructions and posts daily announcements. Grades promptly and gives specific feedback. You read, write, do peer interactions, watch short videos, do a timeline, see great artworks so its an interesting course to learn about world cultures.

She is very disciplined about the assignments and the due dates, but also very fair. The clas was interesting and I learned a lot about cultures and people. Assignments are focused and she even gives you the rubric that she will use for grading. There are 6 discussions with peers. I enjoyed the travel paper assignment in the course the most.
