He was a great teacher who you could kid around with. He has a genuine concern for his students and wants everyone to get it. But he won't hold up the class for one question. He'll explain it several ways, but also make himself available after class.
He did a good job of conveying the course material while keeping the class interesting. Avery approachable and likable prof.
Found teacher to prefer certain students over all. Seemed condesending as a form of humor. Did not enjoy.
This class is boring as far as lectures go, but the tests are fairly easy. If you're looking to actually LEARN economics, then I suggest showing up and paying attention everyday. He knows his subject, but teaches it in an advanced way that not everyone

Very fun teacher. He cared about what he was teaching and explained everything very well. He also had a really good sense of humor.
Third class I have taken from this Professor. Students in his other classes are primarily returning adults enrolled in vocational retraining. He spends time thoroughly explaining concepts. Inspiring- excellent professor. Asset to Clark.
The class had to endure one student taking over the class for most of the hour(she did not get it and never will). His tests are easy even if you do not read the book you can get an A. Look out for the final it was hard after nothing but easy tests it can sneak up on you.
Dont worry you will be able to understand him after a couple... six weeks of class. Very nice person, class is pretty easy if you do your reading and show up. Enjoyed his class.
he was hard to understand at first but i got used to it. interesting class and knowledgable teacher. tests were tough but the final was easy because we were allowed to use a note card (that saved my grade) he was not helpful in answering my questions which made understanding the topic difficult. pulled off a B+ though.
Best business teacher at Clark. Somehow he makes you intrested in learning material that is just non sense. I took both courses over the summer and never missed a day. His class is fun.
I'm really glad I took him for these classes. I wouldn't have enjoyed the class as much with a different teacher.
He was such an awesome teacher! I am definitely going to take him again for my other business classes. He's got a really good sense of humor. He is very helpful and he made a 2 and a half hour class enjoyable to sit through.
Very cool professor, very knowledgable, and one of the funniest proffessors I have had at Clark. He's good all the way around. Much recommended.
This is the greatest teacher ever at clark. He can make talking about probability interesting. He always will crakc jokes and at the end of the 50 minutes you actually have learned something new. Great class
He's really great. We go over everything a million times so there is no way you could not learn from his class. He waits until everybody has the concept before moving on.
wonderful, wonderful person as much as a very good teacher. He is very good at teaching.
He was great! He explained things very clearly and his tests were easy. The homework wasn't that bad either. His lectures were also very easy to follow.
Pretty good teacher
This class was challenging, but he was an enjoyable instructor. The tests were somewhat difficult but the assignments were pretty easy. He is also very helpful if you have questions.
One of the best teachers you will ever have, if you need this class get this teacher... If your not interested in the class, you will be.
Is an Easy A. The teacher is dedicated and teaches in a easy to follow style. If your there you cant help but learn. His accent is also cool.
Do not take this teacher, doesnt teach, asks you to read textbook when you ask him a question. Not that interested in his students, and doesnt make any effort to make the learning easier. Final had nothing to do with the entire class, it was like he set us all up to fail. The class average was 59% on the final! Alot of unhappy students this term!
Several of us asked for additional homework to understand the math portion. He said he would, but made no effort to give the extra help requested.
As a hardworking student, I ask questions when I don't understand. But for the first time, Hamideh made me feel like an idiot when I ask questions. I'm a little disppointed. Not a lot of student understand the econ concept like me who never had econ class before. I think he must realize that! As an introduction to Econ, you must be precise and clea
Hamideh is a great instructor He is very helpful and clear. Homework is required but not graded. If you do it you get credit for it and he hands it back so he can go over the answers and clarify any unanswered questions. Tests are multiple choice except for the final and are overall pretty easy if you understand the material. I would take him again
Class was fairly easy, but the final quiz is worth half your grade. I had nearly perfect scores the entire quarter, and ended up with a B+ as my final grade. Watch out for that. Otherwise, it's an easy class that you might learn something useful in.
Explains the material well, and he makes sure that his students understand what we are doing in the class. Tests are straight forward and not to difficult, but require you to think. All in all, he's a good teacher.
By far one of the best profs I've ever taken. Do the homework and you should get no less than A's and B's on his exams. He is SO clear with his teaching and even lets you use a sheet of paper front and back of notes for the final. Really helpful with his office hours as well. He REALLY wants you to understand the material and do good in the class
Great teacher. He wants you to succeed. Tests are moderate. Very helpful. He will demostrate any question you have .
I found this class to be rather challenging, but in a good way. The tests are, IMO, pretty hard but if you DO the homework and actually spend time IN CLASS, you should pass them. Double-check your answers, though. Adnan is very helpful, and though a bit of a smartass, I found him very funny as well. Great accent, too.
Fairly easy class. Took it online. Quizzes were easy. Because it was online, you could use the book and your notes. I got a B on the final that's worth 30% of your grade.
Professor Hamideh is a great guy, very personable, approachable, and well mannered, and has a great amount of empathy for his students. He makes sure you understand and goes over things again if he doesn't "trust" that the class has understood the lessons. He's a very good man.
He is such a cool teacher. Very friendly and funny. Extremely clear - he will beat a topic to its death to ensure that every student understands (could be boring, but it's useful for some people). Tests were extremely easy. Show up to each class, pay attention - you will get an A.
He's a great guy, I've taken several classes from him. He's very flexible and not too demanding. Seems to understand that students have other classes to deal with as well.
I think he's one of the best teachers on this campus. I would recommend him to ne one 4 stats. I learned so much 4rm him. He's super clear and very helpful. He really wants to see you do good.
Low-key class and teacher - you can pick up almost everything in class by reading the text. Doesn't deviate from text except to give shortcut formulas. Stats is hard, but tests are mult-choice, HW is checked for full credit, not graded, and Adnan will take extra class time or push back an exam to make sure of class comprehension. Recommended!
Adnan is SO laid back. How can anyone NOT love his classes? Great teacher, really KNOWS his stuff inside and out, is helpful inside and outside of class, and as an added bonus he's easy on the eyes and ears. If you need a stats class, TAKE HIS!!!
for the most part he was ok. He goes kind of fast in his classes, and I didnt understand everything but to his credit I had not much interest in the subject.
Sometimes I felt like I was in a foreign country while taking his class because his accent is sometimes hard to understand, plus most of my classmates clearly spoke English as a second language. But he was a good teacher who explained things clearly and gave excellent examples!
Adnan is great. He is more than great, he is awsome. Explains everyting in a 10 different ways so that everybody would understand. One of the best teachers I ever took. Easy on the eyes and cute accent too. If you ever want to feel what its like to go to college as of you were going to the party take Adnan for any of the classes.
TAKE ADNAN for any class. He is amazing. If you ever need basics for anything, Adnan is the guy go take. I remember and thank him every time I'm taking a test. He gives trick on how to solve any problem without any pain.
He is funny and his class is interesting. He can figure out a way you can understand. I took his class last year.I didn't know this web, otherwise I would strongly recommend his class. I hope I can take his another class in the future.
He is now the head of the business department at Clark College. He is very helpful and a friendly faculty advisor if you ever need his help!
Adnan was very good at teaching to the lowest common denominator in class. He was very good at giving all the tools necessary for solving all problems. Some things had to be coaxed out of him, but for the most part he gave you all that was needed to complete homework, outright. He is a fair grader, and interested in seeing his students succeed.
He moves too fast when writing on the board, for us visual learners who need to write down everything it makes it difficult to keep up. He doesn't like how the textbook teaches, which is fine, he shows you a better way, but when it comes to the tests, everything is worded like the textbook, so you can get confusfused quite easy.
As a student that struggles with tests (should have read about the intructor), I was disappointed that the grade was based upon three tests and the final - with four discussion board posts thrown in. The instructor was responsive to questions and offered study suggestions.
I took an online economics class. I hated it. The teacher did not interact with the students at all. All we did was four quizzes (which are pretty difficult) and some discussion board questions. If you don't understand economics, do NOT take an online class. It was really difficult. I barely got a B in the class and normally I have straight A's.
Basic Accounting... boring. He is humorous at times and he is nice. Class is easy but the text book was a little confusing. Theres a book and a book with work pages that you do your homework from.
Adnan Hamideh is one of the greatest professors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He is funny, knows his material, and teaches you WHY and HOW to understand your answers. Very clear teaching, offers extra credit and is fair. Great guy, take any class with him you can!
Excellent instructor, funny and interesting. He moves very quickly through the material but is willing to repeat until you understand. I will take more classes from him.
he is the bomb, i had this class twice before I had this teacher he not only helped me understand, he made me like math again!!!
He writes and explains too quickly to keep up. Poor attitude at times. Too confusing showing a different way to do things other than the book. Does not explain things well. Not helpful.
He goes through the martial to fast he is confusing cant get good notes before he moves on and his examples are his own not from the book.
Explains things very clearly and thoroughly, and he goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands while being extremely patient with those who are slower to grasp the concepts. Often teaches things more simply than what the textbook shows. He is hilarious and is able to make the hour spent in class fly by. He also offers ample extra credit.
He is super nice and easy to understand. He wont move on to another topic unless everyone has agreed that they understand. There is some homework but not very much and he is flexible with when you turn them in. He gets tests back right away and goes over them with everyone. Overall really great teacher!!
Very unpleasant. Took online econ 101 and it was a disaster. 80% of grade is based on tests and final exams and they are ridiculously twisted and tricked, it seem as if he's trying to see if you can see the trick he put on the questions rather than understanding key concepts. Worst instructor i ever had. Doesn't even reply to students' emails.
Easy teacher. WIll tell you everything that is going to be on the test and gives a study guide. HW makes up 25% of grade so do your hw and he gives extra credit which boosts your grade a lot as long as you write down what he writes down on board and do the hw it is basically a guaranteed A. He also lets you use a whole sheet of notes for the final
He was super flexible and made sense a majority of the time. Homework was not difficult and he allows you to use notes on the final which is very helpful. I recommend him!
This class is somewhat hard, but Adnan was always there to help out. He was always busy but found time to help his students. His tests and the final make up most of our grade and they are pretty hard. But, with God's help anything is possible!!!
I am very grateful that Adanan was very patient with me despite my learning disability. If you come to class prepared, he`ll bend over backwards to help you even during his office hours.I have a high regard for him. Thank you, Adnan!
Great class and laid-back Prof. Lot's of time to get assignments done. Informative and the tests are a little tough. You better study extra for this class.
Awesome professor. He will even tell you, he isn't a professor but a mentor. Left to my own devices and I am doing good. Do what he tells you, guaranteed to pass. Understanding, nice and forgiving. Wish we had more people like this.
On of the best BUSINESS instructors at Clark College. Has a no-attendance required policy, I missed 50% of the lectures and showed up to my Friday class for the quizzes and homework. Ended up with an A-.
One of the best teachers at Clark College. He is always cracking jokes, making his lectures very interesting. He explains everything very clearly, and does not assign more than students can handle. He is good at preparing you for the tests, and if you go to class every time, it is an easy A.
This class is pretty much all tests and some discussion posts. If you study and do well on tests you'll probably pass. He doesn't give any feedback really though. His powerpoints are helpful, I don't have money for the text book but I have been able to do alright on tests because of his powerpoints.
It was simple, but you needed to work ahead a little bit so you didn't get overwhelmed which wasn't that good.
crystal clear grading system, works with you, great teacher for online... WOULD TAKE AGAIN!!
Easy online class, just a lot to read and quite boring if you don't have lecture. He does sharply grade on discussions if you miss something (50% deducted) so make sure to respond to posts. Other then that, easy class if you know the material.
I had Adnan for Business 203 and 204 and he is really awesome! He makes sure students know the material and goes out of his way to help you be prepared for tests. He's also very funny. I would highly recommend him, and honestly I am going to miss being in his class. He loves participation, so don't be afraid to speak up! :)
Flexible course schedule allows him to go at a speed comfortable for the class and eliminates rushing through subjects. Class chooses when ready to take the test, and lowest test (of three) is dropped. Awesome teacher. I am changing my schedule next quarter just so that I can take 204 from him.
9 assignments, one quick project at the beginning, 4 tests (one which he drops), and 4 discussion questions. Low amount of points total, and highly skewed towards tests. If you use the book, just double and triple check your answer. Don't rely on your own knowledge, that's where you'll mess up. Just be careful on the tests and you'll be okay.
I took Adnan's ECON101 class online and for the most part, his criteria was very straight forward. Not a very hard course, a few discussion posts, and a few exams that are straight from the readings. He wrote down lots of notes on the power points he provided which really helped me understand economics.
I don't blame the teacher himself, as I was taking the online Intro to Econ course. He provided a lot of extra resources to supplement the textbook, but the course is still pretty difficult. There're a few really easy assignments like the discussion posts and a simple country project, but it's the tests that get you. Hard questions and graphs!
Hamideh is actually really funny (he's got a dry sense of humor) and he gives fairly clear explanations. Homework is minimal, but focuses on important parts and test reviews are available and helpful. Tests are easy and he drops lowest of the first 3. Syllabus is fairly well laid out, my only concern is he does skip some material.
This class had a discussion post and quiz due every other week. It was nice to have time to read through the textbook and have time to complete assignments. I am not a business major but I enjoyed this class.
Gave us three tests, and 7 Hw assignments, and a couple extra credit options. . and for the first two tests the highest grade were low B's. Seems impossible to to get a good grade in this class. Doesn't explain things well, seems more like a good person rather than a good professor. Get help from McCay if you can.
Took online BUS105. Grading system is straight forward. Tests are a bit hard.
This professor is super chill. You have 4 modules the entire term the only assignments are discussion post and test on the modules. You will work on 3 different chapters a week but don't fret test for the three chapters are only 25 questions. Work load minimal grading is straight forward. Pretty awesome teach.
Four discussion posts and one reply each, four multiple choice tests with the lowest grade dropped, a one page essay, and a multiple choice final. Did I mention we had 2-3 weeks to do each module? Easy A. Great teacher.
He's makes sure to give a lot of material for you to read, but you aren't graded on many assignments. If you're like me and not very great at tests, choose a different teacher for econ, his class is mostly tests. Fair warning: the way the slideshows, textbook, and other material is worded is different from what is on the tests.
This class was really easy. I believe there were four or five tests, but the lowest one was dropped, and as long as you study the material and take notes you'll do great; there were also discussions, but those were super easy too.
He wasn't very connected with his students, but he did provide powerpoints, which is better than just assigning chapters. His tests were quite difficult, and you don't receive feedback on your incorrect answers, so not a lot of learning there. Economics is a difficult topic itself, so it was very difficult to learn in an online class.
He totally teaches a better faster way of completing the difficult problems. He explains in detail.
The class itself wasn't difficult but the wording of the test questions were hard for me to understand. I'm a running start student and usually get straight A's. I ended with a B in this class and that is my lowest grade I have ever gotten. That being said, I got a B because I didn't always understand what I was being asked.
Professor Hamideh is a wonderful professor. Is available to assist students before and after class. Is accommodating to students needs. Clear and concise. A wonderful professor.
Professor Hamideh doesn't know how to connect with his students and can be very demeaning when you ask a question. He doesn't give feedback on tests so it's difficult to know what you're doing wrong. A lot of self teaching on the students end.
adnan provides all the info on powerpoint slides so buying a textbook isnt necessary. you only have to do a discussion post and test every other week or so. hes not super engaged w/ his students but if that doesnt matter to you then i definitely recommend taking his class since its fairly easy and straightforward.
Didn't really need the textbook except for the online discussions. He changed up the due date schedule so that was kinda wacky, only class I got a B+ in but allowed 2 takes on quizzes, so pretty good class overall.
I really didnt learn anything from this class if Im honest. The powerpoints he provided often did not answer any of the questions on the tests which was very frustrating. He drops your worst test score though so thats something.
4 tests determine your entire grade. TAKE IN PERSON.
I'm taking his class online right now and it's super easy. He gives you PowerPoint's for each chapter that will be in the module test, I've hardly touched the textbook. He gives you two weeks to do one discussion post, one reply, and the module test. There's only been one project so far, though the end of the course isn't for a few more weeks.
I took Adnan's class online. I wouldn't recommend it. He posted 70-100 slide power-points and expected you to learn from them independently. Weekly practice quizzes and a test & discussion every 2-3 weeks. Not too much work, but not clear at all. I don't recommend his class if you want to learn or if you want clarity. There are better options.
Very easy course. I bought my textbook and returned it as it was not nessacary, the teacher posts chapter notes on power point to use. Additionally, the tests are all multiple choice and all the answers can be found on quizlet. The discussions are very easy as-well and can be found on the powerpoints posted and online. Highly recommend !!
Has few but specific instructions for all assignments. There's a discussion post due every other week, and four tests + final. In the end he only keeps the three best test scores. I have taken two different classes and both had the same structure. The simple format of the class helps you stayed organized, but graded by a few things, so be careful.
This class was pretty simple the textbook was not needed as he posts powerpoints on the necessary chapters. He does drop your lowest test grade so that's really helpful, and he gives plenty of time to complete assigments.
In an online class, I don't find his teaching style to be useful. He just assigns work and expects you to learn it all by yourself. No check-ins and gives vague instructions. I had a hard time communicating with him, it would take a few days for my question to be answered. Don't take this class if you actually wanna learn about Econ.
Very test-heavy, you basically teach yourself although that's expected.
the teacher was unhelpful and overall indifferent to his students. might as well not have even been present the entire term as it's not like anyone benefited from his presence. taught the class by giving us a textbook, and a test. each test was a combination of 3 chapters. hard to pass a class when you have no help and or no clear objectives.
We were given long slideshows and expected to memorize it all. We would take a quiz with no study guide, no guidance, and no instruction. The one time I reached out to him for guidance he was not helpful. He might as well not have been there because he didn't do much (quizzes grade themselves and he gave no instruction or guidance).
This class would be somewhat okay if: -you were actually interested in international business -you like minimal teacher communication -you like reading endless powerpoints There are mind-numbing slides to read and a quiz/test every two weeks. I hardly tried and I winged the quizzes but I still managed to pass. (Only with a C though)
Like other reviews: no study guides, slideshows but they wouldn't go any over criteria for the test. I would end up failing the tests. You have two assignments every two-three weeks. Had to drop since the class was too difficult, I would recommend taking another professor or another class.
I don't understand why he is scored so low. If you study, you will be fine. The biggest part of your grade is the four tests you take, they are each 25 questions and ALL MULTIPLE CHOICE. I am not a 4.0 student, but I was still able to maintain an A my entire time in his class.
Bus105 was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. He splits up the ~12 modules you go over for the term into four tests/discussions. Each test covers 3 chapters which is odd at first but as long as you use ctrl+f you can find the answers while taking the test. Took me probably two hours for every chunk of work and I never read a chapter.
Don't hesitate to take this class. Theres barely any work and I enjoyed it a lot. Take this class especially if you just need some credits for a 2-year degree.
