THIS PROFESSOR IS AMAZING. HE HIS VERY NICE AND EXTREMELY EASY. HE MAY SEEM OR LOOK HARD AT FIRST BUT IS A VERY NICE GUY. GREAT TEACHER IS VERY CLEAR AND EXPALINS EVERYTHING IN DETAIL. WILL WORK WITH YOU ON PASSING THE CLASS AND DROPS THE LOWEST TEST

great teacher... hes my g... i got A's on the first two tests and hopefully a third will follow... he may seem to get angry at times but he really isnt.. hes there to help.

I been away from math for 3 years, had change of major so needed to take precal and higher level math. Easy to understand and got B's on all my test.

He explains things well and will answer our question with MANY examples to make sure you understand. He seems eazy going, but talks so low and monotone, so its pretty easy to FALL fast asleep! But I would recomment taking him if u want to learn something, unlike some other teachers that dont teach!

I reviewed him early and now I've changed my opinion. Well, he is not hard but he grades every mistake wrong, and does not give partial credit. If you forgot to put a minus sign everything is wrong, or you accidently box the wrong answer, its all wrong. Thats what really pissed me off about him, Im never taking him again!

Prof. SAid, teaches well and treat students with respect.

Mr. Said is straight forward. He teaches you what you need to know. Always answers a student's concerns and explains the material in detail.

Professor Said is a very nice person. he has patient with his students, and his class is fun and interesting. I took his class in mini term, and got an average 100 in 3 exams and final. he let you to bring one page note for the exam which helped a lot. Thank you Mr. Said. Wish you have a nice summer!! Mr Said is amazing! Very clear in his lectures. The class was so much fun, i was really sad on the last day of class! Mr. Said made the learning experience so much fun for me although i really hate math but i wud look forward to go to his class.

follow directions,use notes, and textbook. homework is done course compass you have until the end of semester to turn it in. should of made an a. my fault i didn't.

dont believe all those negative critques about him. mr said is one of the best math teachers ive had in a while. in highschool you get stupid teachers that you dont understand their teaching, well his class is pretty much stupid-proof. mad a 105 on 1st 2 test.. easy as helll. im takin all his other math classes!!!!!

He's sweet and kind. He moves very quickly, but you can ALWAYS ask questions. He doesn't have a THICK accent, but you have to pay attention. TAKE NOTES. if you miss a day, he does practice problems everytime from the previous class. GREAT TEACHER

easy teacher!!! he gives you half of the test to take home and the other half is exactly like the questions in the first half given, as long as u know how to do them ur good.does not give homework and all exams are open book and open notes!! he lets you use calculators always!! best teacher ever!!! i got 100's on every exam and he gives bonus point

If you are good at math, you don't need to buy the book. Only assignments are on the textbook. Follow his notes and do the half test before the test, then A is not hard.

Half test is take home the other half in class...you get to use notes and book on EVERY test including the final, HOWEVER he tricks you!! You have to be VERY careful on his tests...very nice guy, sort of hard to understand...talks to the board most of the class...would take again though...

He is a very good teacher. The best teacher I had in HCCS. Extremely helpful and tests are pretty easy. He drops the lowest score. I definitely recommand this teacher to any student who wants to take math.

He is the best mathematics teacher in HCCS. His tests are pretty much the same as whatever he teaches in class. He also discuss the questions that gonna come in tests plus his final is not comprehensive. He doesnt give much home work sometimes, no homework at all. I didnt work harder and i got an "A" grade in his class. I recommend him to everyone.

He is awesome. Its very easy to get an A if you pay attention in class, and do your part.=)

Good prof. Gives a clear syllabus. Just follow it!! Very helpful if you have problems and goes the extra mile to help students. If you complete your assignments you will receive a good grade. Lowest grade is dropped.If you listen in class and follow the instructions you will succeed. He has a soft voice so listen up.

I AM TAKING HIM FOR STATISTICS AND HE IS GREAT! HE HAS AN ACCENT BUT ITS NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND. HE GOES OVER THINGS SEVERAL TIMES AND IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS HE WILL ANSWER THEM. THE TESTS AND QUIZZES ARE EASY, JUST LIKE THE EXAMPLES AND REVIEW. HE ANSWERS EMAILS REALLY FAST. COME TO CLASS BC HE DOES DROP U AFTER MISSING 5 DAYS IN A 1X A WEEK CLASS.

He is a WONDERFUL instructor. Very patient. Takes his time explaining until everyone understands. Gives you ample time and notification to complete HW assignments(mymathlab) Allows you to use a calculator for tests as well as index cards with some of the rules written down(standard equations etc..)Why would ANYONE give him a bad rating?! Love him!

Adnan Said is a wonderful instructor. He will make your heart warm while he teaches. He is very approachable and will help you if you have any questions. His notes are clear and concise, and he will tell you that his tests are heavily based off them. Strongly recommended for someone looking to make an A; some work is required to achieve this.

Mr.Said is a very good teacher. He teaches in a way that everyone can understand. He is very helpful and easy. You obviously have to attend the class and listen and study for test. If you do all those you will get the grade. He is very nice teacher you should take him if you are a person that is willing to learn. I got an A its not impossible.

The tests and quizzes are easier than the mathlab homework and they are open notes as well!

adnan is a good teacher and his exams are super easy. I made a B in his class. He lets you out 15 minutes early. He is very monotone and boring. you're allowed to use an index card on every test except final. He can be rude sometimes. If you want to speak to him about something, he does not look you in the eye. overall I'd recommend him. easy class

Hes a cool teacher. Sometimes makes students laugh a little. I barely passed his class only because one quiz had nailed me down.

Not a lot of hw. He even takes off repetitive questions on hw. He gave me room numbers for free tutoring outside of class, and he never denied helping a student with a question. He is not enthusiastic, can be very boring, but very simple and breaks everything down. All you have to do is pay attention. My only complaint is that he uses webassign.

In cal 1, he explained each problem very well. He writes everything on the board so ur notes can be very detailed. He tells u exactly what problems will be on each exam. He curves most of the tests and is always willing to help his students. He talks a little low but overall i'd recommend him! He knows his math very well.

Highly recommend him. He speaks a little softly and slowly, and he can be a little boring, but he will address any questions you have and will thoroughly review for the exams so that you know what to expect. If you keep up with the work, show up for class, and study, you will earn a good grade.

Great teacher, sometimes funny if you get bored that just means you're not willing to understand and study hard for your grades takes it really slowly even in the summer. He's gonna explain if you ask he does A LOT of practice during the class so there's no way you shouldn't understand every topic if you pay attention :)

He is a very good professor, gives a lot of information so you must attend every class but its worth it. He's willing to help and answers all your questios clearly.

I never liked math nor did i consider myself good at it. I enjoyed Mr. Said, yes he's monotone but he's funny too. He thoroughly explained and repeated if needed. Curved test sometimes to make sure you passed. Do the homework on my mathlab and pay attention in class, you will pass. The 'A' I made gave me confidence to tackle 1314 in the summer!

He is a decent professor but is somewhat soft-spoken. I would have taken him again for Calculus I, II, and III, but he was not teaching these when I needed it. He clearly explains what is needed for the exams. If you attend class and study, you'll do fine.

He is quite soft-spoken so you would have to carefully pay attention to what he is discussing. The lectures are very much similar to the tests so you know what to expect. Easy A, take his class.

Calculus is hard to begin with. This professor teaching the just needed for cal. He made custom notes (not straight from the book) that were colored coded. Amazing! These notes explain everything so simply. The steps are all laid out. Test are multiple choice which makes it easier. Only complaint is he speaks low but just sit up front. Great teach

With Prof Said, you have to really pay attention to the lecture- All the examples he gives in class are used again in Mathassign and in the tests andexam- We have 4 tests and 1 fina- The final is not comprihensive, so we just need to focus on 1 chapter which is really helpful

He was pretty great for being a summer professor. The lectures are boring but if you take your laptop and do your homework you'll be good. Exams are not bad, very similar to the review stuff he gives. Awesome and nice and adorable!

Honestly, his teaching style is a little difficult to comprehand but he is a really sweet professor ! I struggled in this class , but his notes and web assign homework definitely helped me out ! He was really nice professor , he really cares about his students , you just need to communicate with him.

In brief, he's an experienced teacher and his material his easy and clear to understand as long as you keep track of the course and attend the class. His tests are multiple choice and he allows a formula sheet for all of them which makes the course a lot easier. I enjoyed being his student and will take him for Calc. 1

Mr. Said is a good calculus teacher. He is ready to help during and outside of class (he is also funny). However, he has a monotone voice and tends to leave you with your hand up for some time before he answers your question. There are 3 tests and a final, and he curves grades generously. Do the homework (all of it), study, and you will be fine.

Professor Said was super sweet. He cares about his students success and gives many extra credit opportunities. The connectmath homework site also helps in keeping you focused and studying as there are many topics to cover.

I am unsure as to why this professor has so many bad reviews. I took him over the winter mini semester (in person) and he was great. He doesn't just lecture but also goes over example problems. If the homework had a more complicated problem, he would show us how to do it first. His exams where multiple choice and had extra credit questions.

I took him Fall 21' online and he was a great professor. He has lecture notes on each chapter section that simplify the information and goes over it during the lecture. If you have a question he would gladly go over it. He gives out reviews and goes over them during the lecture. He gives lots of extra credit too. Make sure to the hw too it'll help.

Professor Said is an excellent math teacher - he goes out of his way to explain complex mathematical problems in a way that everyone (regardless of their starting knowledge of math) can keep up. Follow Professor Said's detailed and very student-friendly outlines of each chapter as well as his reviews and you will do well.

He's nice, approachable, & makes random dad jokes. He's thorough in his explanations and is open to questions. However, he lectures monotone & will make you sleepy! I failed his college algebra course but that's because I'm terrible at math. Mr. Said is fine & I still recommend him. I ended up retaking the class (with a different prof.) and passed!

I took his class for fall 22. The only thing you need to do is to get a high grade on exams and no be absent. Other than that you won't need much to pass this class.

Professor Said is a good teacher, but his voice is monotone (like the other comments say), but he does provide PowerPoint slides. Just read them on your own. He does provide extra credit opportunities and is open to answering any questions or going over past material during lectures.

Had him for Trigonometry last year, and I don't fully understand the bad reviews. He had us print out packets for each section of a chapter we did and all of them had explanations and answers to the examples and would read along with us during class. During exams he allowed us to make a formula sheet and a unit circle giving us a chance.

Took his class ONLINE ANYTIME so it was chill. He had OPTIONAL sessions where he taught his review questions, but no one ever attended so you can't blame him. Just complete your assignment and you get 10 points added to each tests, amazing extra credit. Plus, most of his review questions came out exactly the same in exams!!! Emphasis on 'EXACTLY'..

Professor Said is a pretty good professor. I took him over the summer as an online any time and his paper reviews + review Lectures really helped. Pay attention to his reviews as those are the types of Q's that are on the exams. Lock down , pretty easy HW's with Mathway. He's always available. Take him!

I took this class online asynchronous and he offered virtual zoom reviews which I did not go to but they are there if you need help. Of course an online math class will be difficult but as long as you use the very helpful notes, do all the hw and discussions and use test reviews you will get a decent grade. He also added a lot of extra cred

Although I took him during the Winter Mini-Mester (4 weeks long), the in-person class didn't feel rushed or fast-paced, I learnt and understood everything necessary (though I didn't even know trig. at the time). He allows you a formula sheet and a graphing calculator during exams. Besides these things, he's kindhearted. A blessing! Rev 22:12 kjv

He's a great Professor. He got this wacky sense of humor that shows once in a while. You will have to do self-reading though,unless you're naturally great at math. I was spending maybe 20 hrs a week on hw and trying to understand concepts. ADVICE: if you don't get sumn in class, ask IMMEDIATELY, saves you hrs of trying to catch up on your own later

This professor provides extensive lectures on each topic to be easy to understand. He also provides a detailed explanation of steps on how to solve math problems in real-world situations.

I took him over the winter-mester. This could have been a big mistake had it not been for having a good math professor like him. He wants you to succeed. Lots of homework but not a crushing amount in a short time. Be ready to study everyday. I am glad I took him.

Professor Said teaches a straightforward class. Focus on the practice exams and use unstuck AI alongside the textbook to prepare - it really helped me grasp the concepts. As long as you put in the work, you'll do well.

Best calculus professor at HCC. I dropped cal 1 during the spring semester and re-took it in the fall. If this was my professor in spring, I would had never dropped. Almost all of my classes have been online and this is by far the best professor I have taken. Make sure you put in the work outside of class and you will pass.

Honestly compared to other professors I really had an appreciation for how straight forward his Algebra class was: come to lecture, do the homework, get extra credit from doing the homework, do the discussion, take the exam, take the final, get an A. This is the way I like to learn math, clear-cut and simple, no complications. Props to him.

Calculus 1 was tough but professor Said made it so simple for me to understand the topics! I took it online but the way his class outline was set up I d found it very helpful in succeeding this class.His exams were clear just like his review and his recorded lectures were amazing.Lockdown browser req. and he gives extra credit for hw assignments!

I would have to score my calculus teacher quite well because he has proven to be excellent at helping me grasp the concepts even if they are difficult. The way he has taught Newton's method, curve sketching, and optimization problems has been so much easier than that of other teachers.

The professor really nice, he offer credits for every exams. Just go through his review before your tests, you will do well on the tests.
