Love Dr. Salhi! He is a little unpredictable and goes by he beat of his own drum, but I LOVED his class. He is so passionate about the arabic subject and culture, which makes class interesting. I won't be having any conversations soon but I can recite two Arabic poems!!!

Very nice guy, helps out a lot. Assigns partners for students who need more help.

Alls I have to say is that this is my third Arabic class with him as my teacher and he is Great! Not only do I get to learn another language, but I enjoy his classes as well as his sense of humor.

Ok, this class is pretty easy. Rarely any homework. Grade depends mostly on attendance and how hard you try. While he was very funny and I enjoyed being in class, I felt like I could have learned a lot more. He let's you out early a lot too.

This teacher is absolutely WONDERFUL. Very friendly and loves his job!! i had him as a high school teacher and i would recommend him to EVERYONE! He's GR8!

He's a nice guy, it's fun to be in the class, but if you really want to learn how to speak Arabic this is not the class. We started by reading from a childrens book about seasons & spent the 2nd 1/2 of semester memorizing poetry. Very, very little emphasis on writing. Zero emphasis on actual conversation or vocabulary or sentence structure.

He'll make class so interesting also he is a joker...sumtimes he'll trick you n say that ur failing but he is lieing, as long as u try ur best n he seez that, he'll pass u 4 SURE.He doesnt fail any1. This man is a genius. He helped me in my Math homework. His class is great and you will learn a lot from him and have fun as well. He is fair. He sends many email reminders for students. I felt very loved and welcomed and that is how he always starts his emails to the class. He is very consistent with his deadlines, but he gives plenty of time for doing the work on time. His reading materials are free of charge and very useful. Thank you for being such a caring professor!

I am taking ENG 131 right now. I have never learned in one class as much as I learned from Dr. Salhi. Textbooks are free / educational. He gives lots of feedback on the essays. Grading is fair and generous. He gives more than enough time for anyone to do the assignments. I never thought I would lean as much as I did. Do your work timely. Take him!

I will be honest, I was scared when I took this professor because there were a lot of negative comments about him!!! It surprised me that once the course started he gave us plenty of time to do the work and was very generous with grading. Believe it or NOT, you will ONLY have 2 essays, 4 Tests, and 2 discussion boards for the ENTIRE course!!!!!!!!

for the whole class we only read 2 books one of them was 11 pages and the other he made it different sections so barely any reading, He is a slow grader but he rounds up the grades big time if u got a 60 he will give u a 75. he answered emails fast and overall wish I could take more classes with him.
