Best professor I have ever had, She respects her students and teaches in her own way. She focuses on the beauty of the science of the body and it helps you learn in a different matter. No points on anything except tests and extra credit offered, so there is no assignments. Great class.
Dr. Rometo is by far the best professor I've ever had. Her lectures are easy to follow and she is amazing at breaking down complicated content. I don't think I've ever learned so much from a professor! She is obviously passionate about what she teaches and can come down to a student level to explain info, which is hard to come by at a university.
Adonna is the greatest BIO teacher I've had. It is generally a hard class because it's BIO but Adonna makes lectures easy to understand. She gives examples in class and is a generally wonderful person. She's funny and real with her students, she wants to be relatable. Only bad thing is your grade relies on your test scores with some extra credit.
Adonna is the most amazing professor I have had at NAU. She knows her stuff, and is really fun to listen to. She takes the time to meet everyone who comes to class, every Friday.
Dr. Rometo was a fantastic professor! She is very passionate about A & P and her passion makes the class interesting. She gives lots of extra credit assignments which help offset the exam heavy grading system. If you go to all the lectures, you don't need the textbook.
Adonna was so incredible. I've never written a review before but she was so awesome that I had to. She is by FAR the best teacher I have ever had. She is obviously very passionate about the wonders of the human body, and she teaches in a way that makes it easy to understand. Honestly, as long as you attend lecture you should be fine.
Dr. Rometo is the hands down the best professor at NAU. Every day before class, she walks around and gets to know all of the students which makes her very respectable. Her lectures are very engaging and she knows her material. She is very willing to help students understand each and every topic. Highly recommend, even if the class is an 8a.m.
Dr. Rometo is the sweetest, most intelligent professor. She makes her lectures interesting and always answers questions in a way that you can easily understand. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her students. Your grade is based off of only 5 tests and 5 quizzes but she gives a lot of extra credit.
Adonna is fantastic! I cannot express enough how great of a prof. she is!! The lectures are interesting and helpful. The exams are situational credits and straightforward. She gives up to 35 points of Extra credit a semester.
BIO201 was extremely challenging but extremely rewarding. Rometo's tests are very straight forward and she'll usually let you know what you have to study before exams. She also offers lots of extra credit throughout and draws on the board to explain hard to understand concepts. Very approachable! more physiology than anatomy.
I joined her class bc she has a 5.0 on her rating but honestly if you can learn from someone reading off a powerpoint then you'll do fine otherwise find a different proff. She bases grades off of tests and quizzes and some extra credit and thats all, no wiggle room to fix your grade. Honestly without the help of the SI I wouldve been in worse shape
Adonna is a great person. She is so nice and fun. She really love Anatomy and you can tell by the way she teaches. This class is solely based on quizzes, tests, and extra credit though. She offers a lot of extra credit. Her tests are difficult, but if you study the power points and go to SI, you'll be ok. I would definitely take her class again!
She's fantastic! Take her class! She'll boost you at the end if you come to office hours and do extra credit and show that you're trying. She shows you how beautiful anatomy is and she's a total hippie. She also teaches yoga elsewhere in flagstaff. Believes in woman empowerment :) and you can tell she genuinely cares about students.
Adonna is a seriously sweet and friendly person who is willing to work through any problems you have with you! She is a chill professor and extremely capable and knowledgeable. Her tests are straightforward but you will have to attend class and study outside of class. Do extra credit to cushion your grade and ask her or the SI for help!!
Adonna writes pretty difficult tests but she's super helpful and easy to talk to. Good at checking understanding with big classes. Draws great diagrams and has good lectures. Goes a little fast, has a lot of material to cover. I would definitely like to have her as a professor again whenever she comes back from maternity leave.
Rometo is great and very clear on what she expects on exams. Makes this class easy. I wouldn't want to take anatomy with anyone else. She gives a lot of little extra credit assignments. Her exams are super straight forward and literally word for word from he lectures.
Rometo is a great professor. Very approachable and understanding. The exams are very straightforward, if you pay attention in class and take notes you will do well on the exams. Very clear on the material. Takes time to know her students by walking around before every lecture. Made anatomy interesting.
Adonna is by far the sweetest professor I've ever had. She's super passionate about what she teaches and does an amazing job explaining it. The only grades are tests, quizzes, and a few extra credit opportunities - take advantage of them! Tough class but she makes it enjoyable
She's an amazing professor who really cares about the subject matter and her students' success. Attendance isn't really mandatory because her lectures are reading directly off her ppts. Easy A if you're decently good at biology;. She simplifies the subject and makes it easy to understand. TRY TO TAKE 201 and 202 WITH HER!
Adonna is amazing. She doesn't put a lot of fluff in her lectures, she's straight to the point with the material. It is a lot of information, so just be sure to stay on track with the class and you'll do great. Just don't take that for granted since only tests, quizzes, and a few extra credit points make up your grade. Take 201 and 202 with her!!
She usually has about four exams, and the last one is a cumulative final. Every week there is an opportunity for extra credit! She is a great lecturer, she gets really into all of the material in class, and makes sure you understand it. She left for the last mnth to have her baby & I missed her class so much! She provided us w/ awesome online lect.
Nicest and sweetest professor I have ever had. Actually cares how students are doing personally, not just in her class. Not to mention her lectures are really cool and she sprinkles in useful tidbits of information that apply to real life, not just concepts. Take 201 and 202 with her or Pierotti, both are awesome anatomy professors!
Dr. Rometo is so passionate about the beauty of the human body. She respects students and takes time before class to walk around and talk with students. The material gets very deep into the physiology of the body, but Rometo makes it interesting.
Dr. Rometo is a goddess. She is so sweet and caring, and she knows the material really well. Her tests are relatively easy. I skipped class for 2 weeks straight one time and still got an A on the test lol.
Adonna really cares about anatomy and about her students. I would describe her as a magical hippy who loves the human body. There are very few points in this class, only exams and quizzes but if you go to class and take notes, you will do well. She is always available to meet outside of class and really makes an effort for her students to do well.
Honestly, she saved my grade. You have to go to class to understand the material, but she makes it fun! Grades are based on tests and quizzes and extra credit.
Adonna is honestly so kind and makes lectures great. Her class is only exams and quizzes which is rough but she offers lots of extra credit! I haven't been to class for a lecture in 3 months and I currently have an A in the class. If you study for exams and do the EC, you'll be fine
even though attendance is not mandatory it is really important to go because she does a lot of in-depth explaining that the powerpoints alone wont do for you. the class was pretty difficult but she did a good job adjusting the class for us to succeed. also she brought her baby to class like every day so it's worth going to see him
She is a amazing teacher. She is passionate about the material. She wants everyone to succeed but it is up to you to work for it. If you ask her for help, she is more than happy to help.
Lovely lady! Her voice is soothing, you won't fall asleep during her lectures. Make sure to study for the test weeks in advance. Sometimes she puts situational questions on the exam. Offers EC throughout the school year as well. The class is based off of exams and quizzes only. If you are super sick or have conflict with the test, she will work w/u
This class was so easy. There is no homework. There is a quiz due before every test. It is easy. Her lectures are interesting. The tests are questions directly from the powerpoints. She posts all the powerpoints online so you can review them before the tests. She gives you a study guide and study questions. She cares for her students.
Best bio 201 teacher at NAU,very caring and thoughtful. offers extra credit throughout the course, take advantage of that. study from her powerpoints and notes and you will pass her exams. the last two exams, she offered us the scratch off scantrons which helped a lot. she does not take attendance but attending is recommended if you want an a or b
Dr. Rometo is absolutely adorable. I loved having her for Anatomy & Physiology 1. Theres very little in your grade book, though, so make sure to do every extra credit!
I literally love Dr. Romero! Her class was difficult, but if you just try and actually spend time studying, theres no way you wont pass. Shes very clear about her exams, and her grading system is very straight forward. She cares about everyones success, so just take her seriously and youll get an awesome grade. Also, science is fun!!
She is absolutely amazing. If you can take her for bio 201 or bio 202 DO IT. She is so passionate about what she teaches, it makes you love what you are learning. Don't get me wrong the content is hard and you wont pass unless you attend her lectures, but her lectures are so worth going too. She is awesome at what she does.
I WISH I HAD HER FOR EVERY CLASS!!! She makes the tough content bearable. She is so enthusiastic and fun, you won't WANT to skip class. A lot of stuff on her tests are from class so make sure you go, and she gives a lot of extra credit.
Super nice, very friendly, and funny! Don't skip class because the notes she uploads on BBLearn don't include everything she goes over. Go in to ask questions or for help on the chapter quizzes. Study the notes and you'll be set for exams.
TAKE THIS TEACHER!! She is by far the best teacher ive ever had. She gives extra credit and the TAs practice exams are literally the exam. She also does in class open note quizzes as well as case studies and problems sets for the easiest extra credit. She really wants you to know this stuff. Would totally take her again.
Rometo is probably one of the best professors I have ever had. I had her for BIO 201 and loved her so much I made sure to have her for BIO 202 as well. She makes the lectures so fun and easy to understand. Her tests are pretty straight forward and she does not try to trick you. She is so caring and understanding. Take her if you have the chance to!
I took Rometo for 201 last semester. This class is not easy but it is not extremely difficult. This class was solely just exams and quizzes, plus extra credit up to about 20 points. You will have to study and put in a lot of work and make 100s of flash cards
Adonna is the best human to ever walk the planet. The content may be difficult to grasp at first, but everything she teaches is very straight-forward. The exams are very straight-forward as well. If you understand the pictures she draws, you will do just fine. I'd give her a 10 if I could.
Adonna is the most amazing professor I've ever had. She genuinely cares and wants people to do well in her class. Before class every day, she walks around and asks everyone how they are/how their weekend went. She's also just a super cool person, I would love to chat with her outside of class.
Can't explain how much I LOVE Dr. Rometo! She is so sweet & silly. She was so kind & patient with me as I worked through some hard personal stuff this semester. Her lectures are flawless and the graded material is very fair. I'm sure the reason I didn't get an A is bc I couldn't wake myself up at 7 AM & when I did, I was a zombie during lecture.
Rometo is my favorite professor. Her lectures are amazing and she explains things slowly by writing out diagrams or notes. Print out her lecture slides before class. A lot of material to cover, but she is organized and has learning outcomes. SI posts practice exams and jeopardy study reviews that are helpful. Posts lecture videos onine.
She's amazing. Took her for both Bio 201 and Bio 202 Don't get me wrong you will have to study and work hard to get your A in the class. Study her powerpoints and go to all her lectures you will do amazing. She has great methods of teaching and offers loads of extra credit. Her test are very straightforward if you study. You will get your A.
Adonna is an amazing professor. If I could take every biology course with her, I would. Attendance isn't mandatory and you don't receive homework assignments so studying for exams is the only real requirement. She is very smart and can explain the content very well.
Dr. Rometo is an AMAZING anatomy professor. She will walk around the room before class starts and talks to students and really cares. She posts the powerpoints ahead of time and it's really easy to follow along in class. Just get ready in case you're taking the 8am, she keeps the room fairly dark.
Amazing professor! Highly recommend. Very understanding and willing to help. All the material for the test is included in her lectures. A clear understanding of EVERYTHING and how it works is completely necessary as her tests are pretty detailed. Did very well in her course!
TAKE ROMETO. She is amazing & cares about her students so much. Each semester she improves her class based off previous suggestions & she truly tries to make the class as simple as possible. There is a TON of extra credit so do it all, even if you don't think you need it. And be sure to study for tests because they are 500 out of the 600 points !!!
Adonna is simply amazing. I've never had a professor like her. She brought us candy and really cared about our feelings towards her class. She took surveys and revamped the class for the next semester based on our responses.
Adonna is such a sweetheart. Her lectures are very interesting, always offers extra credit, and is very accommodating if you need to take a test a different date. I loved her, and am taking her for 202.
Dr. Rometo is a great professor and amazing person. I absolutely loved seeing her twice a week, even if it meant waking up for 8 a.m. lectures. Dr. Rometo makes this class super easy, while still conveying all of the material in an excellent way. Her tests are very simple and easy to pass. She also gives so much easy extra credit.
She is very clear with how assignments are, and cares about situations.
Adonna is so kind and understanding. Her class is extremely exam heavy which can be very difficult for students like me, but if you study, you will do well. She doesn't word her exam questions in a weird way. If you put in the time and dedication to studying her material, you'll get an A. Best anatomy professor at NAU. Take her class!
I would rather have Adonna over any other 201 lecturer, even if it means waking up at 8am. She does a great job at explaining content by being more interactive like including the overhead projector. Her exams are neither too easy or hard. Take advantage of SI materials on BBLearn, Adonnas HIGHLY accessible office hours, show up and youll be fine.
Adonna is a fabulous person! She cares about each of her students and makes an effort to get to know each of the students in her large lectures. She offers a TON of extra credit. Her exams are very similar to the practice quizzes. Lectures are interesting and interactive! She doesn't ever assign homework unless she runs out of time for lectures.
Adonna is a great teacher but you definitely have to pay attention in class and study in order to do good on tests. She has a lot of concept questions on her tests but as long as you know the material well you'll be fine. She is always available to talk in her office hours if you have any questions. This isn't a easy A class so you'll have to work
BEST BIO TEACHER EVER. Anatomy can be hard in general, but she makes it very easy to understand. Her grading is extremely clear & the tests are exactly what are on her lectures. Also, she offers a TON of extra credit. Study and do the extra credit and should be a pretty easy A. This class is very interesting & Rometo is so fun as a teacher. 10/10
Dr. Rometo is my favorite professor at NAU. Her lectures are entertaining and she gives examples you can relate to in order to understand the content. She funny and wants her students to succeed. Her tests are easy as long as you study. I am taking BIO202 with her next semester because I loved her so much.
Some professors feel like an opponent in a game where the student strategy devolves into minimizing collateral damage to their GPA instead of truly learning. Dr. Rometo is not that professor. To succeed she demands you learn the content, but she provides every opportunity to do so. She clearly holds the success of her students close to her heart.
Attendance is not mandatory but you learn more in class. You can't get much from her powerpoints not going to class. An amazing teacher I did better in 201 than 202 with her. She is a visual teacher, and i'm a visual learner; which is why I think I did so well.
Dr. Rometo is an amazing professor and a wonderful person. This course is relatively easy, if you watch her video lectures and take notes, you will pass all of her exams. She offers plenty of extra credit for an easy A overall. People who say this class is hard just need to change their major.
Dr. Rometo is a wonderful professor. She is very approachable, positive, and cares about her students. Your grade is heavily impacted by your test score, so make sure you make time to study. The tests are online in class. She offers minimal extra credit so take advantage of it.
She's one of my favorite professors. She loves what she does and does great at explaining as long as you go to her classes and study hard you will do great. Class is tough exams are straight forward as long as you study. Also, go to her office hours they help so much super easy to approach.
Adonna is a wonderful professor! I loved her class and taking her again for bio 202 as well. Her lectures are great and gives you the powerpoints to print out as a source of notes! You do have to study for her tests if you want an A but can pass with a B with little to no studying. You're not graded on a lot so make everything count!
Dr. Rometo is the best professor I've ever had. She explains things so clearly, giving numerous examples in ways that are easy to remember. Her exams are easy if you spend a little time studying beforehand. She also gives a lot of extra credit and really cares for her students. There isn't a time where I'm bored in her class. Highly recommend!
Dr. Rometo is a really kind woman who is very passionate about anatomy and the human body in general. Her class is structured differently than others, but a typical week is filled with note checks, problem sets, tophat questions, and online lectures. She does not lecture for the entire period, and a lot of the time is spent working on your own.
Professor Rometo is such as great professor and cares for everybody's learning. She has such in interest in anatomy and physiology. She explains all the concepts really well and go to her office hours because she well have the one on one time with you. Grades are based mostly on exams, but if you study you'll pass.
Adonna was a complete gem! She is very very caring and super sweet! She is hands down a professor who cares about you more than a grade, and makes class super engaging. Hard material but made it super bearable. Study hard and talk to her for help and you'll definitely get the grade you are aiming for.
You get points for showing up to class. Tests are worth a big chunk of the grade. Quizzes are open note and at home. If you've taken HS anatomy, you should be fine. If this is your first time, take lots of notes, pay attention, and sit close to her in class. I never went to SI, but those who did significantly did better on tests;)
I absolutely love Dr. Rometo and truly enjoyed this course! If you have the option to take her for both BIO 201 & 202 I would recommend her for both! If you come to class every time, pay attention and study you will be set! The exams come directly from the powerpoints that she covers in class. She also gives out a good amount of extra credit!
Dr. A is AMAZING. Very passionate about her teaching and the material. Very easy to talk to. So many resources are given to us to allow us to succeed to the best of our ability in this class. I highly recommend her.
Super respectful. gives a lot of extra credit!! and super nice and understanding.
This was by far my favorite class I've taken at NAU. I never had the chance to learn about neuroscience in detail and Dr. Rometo provided an amazing course in which I learned a ton in only 5 weeks online. I would highly recommend BIO 399 and any class with Dr. Rometo.
Adonna is great. She explains concepts well, is super caring, and her grading style is extremely fair. I can't recommend her enough
Dr. A is such an amazing professor. I can't say that enough. I took her for both BIO 201/202 and she makes everything make sense and cares for students. Just make sure to study for exams because basically our grades are based on exams. She is so fair and wants to make sure that every student succeeds.
She is the best professor I have had at NAU. I took her for BIO202 and loved it. I had a crappy professor for 201 and got a C which had me discouraged, but taking 202 with Rometo showed me how much a good professor helps. I actually ended up taking my capstone early because I saw she was the prof. I highly recommend bio students to take her classes
My favorite professor
amazing teacher who will take the time to make class entertaining and explain the material so it is easy to understand. Also is more than willing to offer a helping hand.
She is one of the best profs I have ever had. If you have the opportunity to take her class, do it! She is great at explaining the material and is always willing to take the time and effort to help students understand topics. She cares about your success and is overall super sweet and kind. Lots of extra credit opportunities.
I LOVE ROMETO!!!! Best prof I've ever had. She offers A LOT of EC and no quizzes! Just 5 exams including final and weekly review questions. Unit submission of notes before the exam. She goes into depth on material and is very understanding! I am taking her again for BIO202.
Dr. Rometo is literally the best bio professor at NAU!!! She is so kind and makes complex topics easier to understand. I took her for both 201 and 202 and I am taking her for my capstone in the fall. The exams aren't too tough (but def study for them) and some of the questions on exams are from quiz questions. Absolutely loved anatomy!
Dr. Rometo is one of the best professors Ive ever had! You can really tell that she invests a lot time into teaching and caring about her students. She goes in-depth in her lectures and is extremely patient with her students when they dont understand at first. If you have the opportunity to take her, DEFINITELY do it!!
She is AMAZING! She really tries to make sure you understand the material & draws connection to other things. Offers lots of extra credit! She really cares and will help ensure you learn the material. I was scared of taking this class, but with her as the instructor, it was actually great! 100% recommend. Do yourself a favor and choose her class!!
Adonna really cares about what students think. She takes surveys and really does try to change to accommodate to the majority. Tests have information based on the lectures so take good notes and study a few days before the exam. She also gives a lot of extra credit. Loved her class!
By far the most amazing professor you will ever have!! Lectures are great, and she makes sure her students understand the content. She is super respectful of her students, and she is aware that we all have other classes and things going in our lives. 100% would take again, and she makes you want to learn more about the human body. Loved her!
She's the best anatomy professor at the school hands down. No anatomy class is going to be "easy" but she really does try to help you understand the material and is always willing to answer questions and explain again if you need her to. Exam heavy with review quizes per exam and some tophat questions throughout the semester.
If you had her for 201 or 202, expect a similar class experience. Her capstone course focuses on going more in-depth over physiology you may have seen in the past with the addition of several group projects (which are meant to be fun). Her lectures are recorded. The exams can be difficult, but if you prepare and study, you should do fine!
I have taken Dr. R for 201 and 202. She is the best prof anyone could ask for! The material is hard but she does a great job explaining everything. You are graded on 5 quizzes, 5 unit tests, and 5 units of tophat questions. She is very understanding and cares alot about her students. She also offers a good amount of extra credit :)
Dr. Rometo was one of the best professors I have ever had, I took 201 and 202 with her. She is so kind and funny, and makes the hard lecture material easy to understand. Most of the material is covered in lecture but she also posts pre-recorded lectures of the same material she covers in class, which is awesome. Take her if you get the chance!!!
Such a caring person. I love her last semester was hard with Bio 202 but doable definitely a class you have to study hard for a lot of memorization. She is very accommodating and such a lovely woman and so down to earth
BIO 202 is a hard class but I think she did a great job at teaching the material. She uploads lectures if you miss a class but going to class is really important, not only just for your learning but she does tophat for more points. I really recommend going to SI for this course due to the heavy material. Exams are in person, closed note
She doesn't make great use of the time we have in class. She will often spend at least half of a class on a worksheet rather than clarifying or lecturing. I felt like I taught myself all semester. She is a sweetheart who cares about her students I just wish the class was structured differently. Lots of online lectures and extra credit opportunities
Dr. Rometo is awesome! She's extremely sweet and clearly cares very much about the material (and her students!). Her tests are worth quite a lot though- and they are typically pretty tough. Study hard for those and you'll be fine! She also offers office hours to go over tests and will typically give you some points back if you attend those.
I love Dr. Rometo! This class is very hard and she takes that into consideration with many extra credit opportunities. The tests are weighted a lot compared to the weekly review quizzes and textbook quizzes. I'm taking her again for 202 and would over and over again! SI sessions and printing the lecture powerpoints help a lot!
Dr. Rometo has been my favorite professor! She truly cares about her students and does whatever she can to help them succeed. She has held study sessions before exams to allow us to clarify anything. She also provides many different opportunities for extra credit. 10/10 would recommend taking any of the classes she offers
Everything she does is purposeful, every assignment, lecture topic, ect. really feels like its helpful and necessary. Seems to genuinely care about students mental wellbeing and is extremely flexible, clear, and reasonable on grading. Fun assignments that don't feel ridiculous and useless. Uses lecture tools to help stay engaged and entertained.
Adonna is a super sweet professor but the learning style did not work for me. I feel like there was so many topics that were missed and not explained. There was many lectures that were barely explained and on the exams. This course is purely based on exam scores, so study hard for that! The exams are tough, but there is some extra credit!
Dr. Rometo was so awesome. Hard class because it's one day a week so learning is done on your own outside of class, but if you do the work and study 2-3 times before the test you can get a B. It just took some adjusting.
A great Professor!
I was in Dr. Rometo's BIO201 lecture in the spring of 2022. This is a difficult class that's heavy in online lectures. In-class time was inefficiently used, which made it frustrating to have to teach myself the materials on my own time. Dr. Rometo is a nice person, but the way this class was structured wasn't the greatest.
I had 201 last year and 202 this year with Adonna and she is amazing. I really enjoy her teaching style and she includes interesting jokes to make it more exciting. Exams are rough until you develop your best study method for her class. Watch the online lectures - if you don't go to class for a bit you'll be fine.
I loved Adonna. I took Biology 202 with her and it was not only a fun course but also she was super easy to understand in lecture. She records all of her lectures, offers extra credit, and even puts on a zoom session the day prior of each test to ask questions/go over concepts. She is super sweet and super understanding as well.
Prof Rometo is very sweet and caring, she is always allowing make up exams if you contact her ahead of time ! Her class is very content heavy and if you don't read the textbook you won't pass. Exams are worth 80% of your grade so be prepared to study ! Extra credit is offered and she has zoom reviews before the exams !
Best professor I ever had. She cares and is understanding. You can tell she enjoys teaching and helping students and breeding curiosity. 5 tests total and material can be difficult, but going to class and following her instructions can get you an A! Got A's in both classes. I recommend her to every friend. Also, she wrote her own textbook, wow!
The best science professor at NAU! She really showed how much she wanted everyone to succeed and did everything in her power to do that. I graduated from NAU in Spring21, but we are still keeping in good connection till today. She submitted the letter of rec. for 10 schools for me and I finally ended up getting into my dream school.
Adnonna Rometo is an amazing professor, she shows that she cares about her students and wants us to succeed. The overall class is hard, but if you do your work and study for the exams you'll get a good grade. Exams are a big part of your grade, but she gives out extra credit to help out our grade which was very nice, don't rely on the extra credit.
This class was very difficult and is more online than in person. My class was the hybrid lecture version and I do not recommend taking the hybrid class, it's super hard to learn from and she doesn't really teach in person. Very test heavy and the questions on the test don't correlate with what she talks about in class.
She's an awesome professor! Do all assignments as best you can, and retake until you get 100% on any/all because it'll help in the long run! Quizlets are awesome for studying this course, and the lectures are so valuable. Also, you get extra credit for doing notes and bringing them to class. She rocks.
Professor Rometo was absolutely amazing! She really cares about her students and wants you to succeed. The class is very challenging overall, but if you put in the time, effort, and do everything until you get 100% since she allows multiple attempts, you will do great! There is also a ton of extra credit opportunities which is super helpful!
Professor Rometo is an amazing person. She really cares about the students and will do anything to help you. The exams will kill you. No matter how much you studied you are bound to get a bad grade. The exam questions are paragraphs and you have to find out what it's asking you. Do not take it hybrid if you can.
Super sweet Professor; very hard class. The tests are extremely difficult and is hard to study correct material. Go to SI sessions if you can! I do not recommend hybrid learning, almost everything is learned on your own this way. Test are multiple choice, select all apply, or correct order. GO OVER TEST AT HER OFFICE HOURS! SHE WILL HELP YOUU... ;)
I have taken this professor a few times and she is 100% hands down my favorite professor I have taken. The class is decently hard but thats to be expected. Just pay attention during lectures and do the work outside of class and you will pass the class with an A easily. I love her and I could not recommend her to other students more.
I loved this professor, she was always so nice and offered extra credit for each unit which did a lot. Every week we would have questions but you can take it unit you had a 100 and would occasionally get a chapter quiz that wasn't even that bad. The tests weren't bad and didn't take too long to finish, it helped doing the practice problems.
Dr. A is so much fun to learn from, and she cares so much about everyone's education. She makes lecture fun and offers plenty of opportunities for you to succeed.
I love her. She gave lots of extra credit and there are multiple attempts on textbook quizzes which allow you to get a 10/10. She was very respectful and cares about her students.
While Professor Rometo is an amazing professor who truly cares about the success and well being of her students, it is nearly impossible to pass this class with a B, as is required for acceptance to most programs. You are better off taking BIO202 at a different college/university as the alternative prof. for this class is even worse.
Rometo was a great professor and she really cares about her students. There's a lot of resources on Canvas to help with studying which helps on exams. The only thing about the class that was rough were the exams, but as long as you study the right concepts, you'll do well.
Rometo is one of the best anatomy professors at NAU. She is a wonderful human being and really cares about her students. Many extra credit chances and going to her office hours really helps to understand the material and exams. There are four exams and the final but if you listen to her study advice you will have no issue not passing the exams.
Dr. Rometo is wonderful. Her lectures are easy to follow and full of fun metaphors. Anatomy can be hard if you don't study but if you follow her guidance and put the effort in you can get an A. Homework assignments are easy and allow for multiple attempts. One test is dropped including the final.
Dr. Romerto is very sweet and passionate, but I found the exams very difficult. I've tried studying for the exam, but I would still receive an F no matter how much I studied. This may also be a me problem since everyone has a different way of studying for exams. She ended up not responding to my messages and ended up ghosting me.
Dr. Rometo is an amazing professor! She is kind, helpful, understanding and has really engaging lectures. She genuinely wants to see all her students succeed and it shows, if you're not doing great, show up to her office hours. Do not underestimate this class, you have to really put the time in if you want to do well, but she made it an great class
Dr. Rometo structures her lectures in a way I always could understand. Her reading assignments were very consistent which is helpful because the worst thing is when you feel you read for nothing. I will always trust a class with her.
I loved having this professor. She is passionate and kind and gives students many resources to succeed. She is wonderful and by far one of the best!!
Prof Rometo is very knowledgable in her subject, and is a very kind teacher. If you have questions she'll happily answer. Very lecture heavy class, she posts slides after class. Exams are difficult, so study hard for them. Otherwise, the class itself is very engaging and interesting. I highly recommend her for Bio 201.
Rometo is amazing. She is so caring and understand that this class isn't your entire life, so is extremely flexible while making sure you're learning and being productive. I love her so much and would 100% recommend her.
She is hands down the best professor Ive ever had. The class itself has difficult content but her lectures are clear and well structured. She is super enthusiastic about the class and so caring and understanding of her students. As long as you take notes on the lectures and pay attention the exams aren't too challenging. She is AMAZING.
I took Adonna for both 201 and 202 because I loved the way her class was set up. It was very organized, every week was basically the same. You will have to dedicate a lot of time to watching the videos and studying for exams but she is very helpful and in class reviews are great. She is super sweet!!
I love this professor! She cares about her students and wants them to succeed. The class is very test heavy, but she gives so many resources. You can definitely achieve the grade you want. She is very kind and is so interactive and informative in her lectures. I would take her a million times over and over!
Professor Rometo's BIO201 is challenging but rewarding. Her engaging lectures and helpful resources make the material digestible. Attend office hours and use tools like unstuck AI to stay on top of the workload. With effort, you can ace this class.
Dr. Rometo is amazing and makes this class very easy. Just make sure to study a good amount for the exams, as those are about 70% of your grade. She also offers a lot of extra credit and lets students skip the final if they have a good enough grade. She is also always willing to help with questions and is very kind and caring to all students.
Rometo is one of my favorite professors by far! She cares so much about her students and wants them to succeed. Make sure to study and go to SI sessions for this course though because exams are 70% of your grade. She does take late work, but just do it on time, it'll be way more beneficial to you toward the end of the semester. Also, lots of EC.
This is a tough class, but she is an amazing professor! Be sure to go to her SI sessions, they're extremely helpful.
Great teacher! Makes it very clear what to study. Everything on the slides is on the test and in the learning outcomes is on the test. Test are straightforward and she doesn't try to trick you. If you know the content on the slides, you will pass. I never got lower than a 90 on a test. Class is not easy though, you have to study.
I always looked forward to going to this class! The material and lectures were engaging. The tests are definitely difficult sometimes, just make sure you understand all processes and know everything. If you put the time and dedication into her class, you will be okay! She is an amazing and understanding professor. I would HIGHLY recommend her class
Absolutely recommend trying your hardest to get into one of Rometo's lectures. She is amazing
Dr. Rometo is my favorite professor! She is so kind, genuine, and truly loves her students and the material she teaches. I wish she could teach all of my classes. I would HIGHLY recommend her class. Unlike other A&P professors, she explains everything very thoroughly and provides helpful study guides & material.
I LOVE her classes! I would recommend her over any other anatomy professor because she goes in depth & explains everything very thoroughly, so it makes sense. Exams are difficult (expected from A & P) but as long as you study & do extra credit, you'll be good! Dr. Rometo is so caring, understanding, and the best professor I have ever had!
Sadly I felt like i would go to the lecture and have to go home and reteach myself everything. Extra credit is offered but only worth 1 added point to exams. Lowest test was dropped. I really wanted to like her class. She does know her stuff though.
Dr. Rometo is incredible. She is engaging, she is inspirational, her soul is beautiful. She has a textbook but it is customized to her class, relatively cheap, and incredibly helpful, the homework is ALWAYS related to the exams and none is technically due until after the exam. All lectures have video and attendance is extra credit in 202. Amazing.
She is truly incredible and cares about all of her students. All of the assignments can be done as many times as necessary to get all of the points. There are also a lot of extra credit opportunities to boost your grade. If you have to take anatomy, you should take her classes!
