Professor Peaden is very caring and very helpful. The class itself is very easy. There's two chapter quizzes every other week with unlimited attempts and a guided projects with excel, word, or powerpoint every other week. The exams are kind of hard, but I crammed for both exams the day of and made 100s on both.
Professor Peaden is the best prof to have for CGS2060! She is so nice and her class is easy! There are 8 quizzes with unlimited attempts, 2 tests on honorlock that are similar to the quizzes, and then 7 projects with 3 attempts where every step is given to you. The tests are pretty easy. I would read the chapters the day of and got a B+ every time.
This class is fairly easy content-wise. For some reason, she makes it more difficult than it needs to be. The exams should have been easier for everyone. Her guidelines are very straight forward and she does not budge on absolutely anything. Everything is fairly easy if you actually take the time to study, but if you take her do not look for care.
Took the class online, super easy, just one assignment a week and two honorlock tests
Super easy class. Guided projects have step by step tutorials posted so you will get a 100%. Quizzes can be taken multiple times. 2 proctored tests but study for a couple days before and you will be fine. Really nice lady who has a clear grading criteria and is very reasonable.
I would HIGHLY recommend taking this class online (fully asynchronous if its available). The work is pretty standard and its easy enough to follow along with the videos to complete the assignments. Professor Peaden was always super accommodating with any issues and super attentive in terms of deadline reminders and upcoming assignments.
I would highly recommend taking CGS2100 with Professor Peaden. You have either one or two easy assignments per week and she posts step-by-step videos on how to complete the projects. The test questions are right out of the study guide. Easy A if you complete the work on time. Also, no final exam.
I took Professor Peaden for Spring 2021 CGS2060 Online it let me tell you it was super easy. 8 total quizzes you can repeat and repeat till you get 100%. We had several projects on Microsoft Programs that were very easy! She post videos step by step on MAC/Windows users.. Finally two exams that were honor lock! I passed with A+. Will Recommend!
Clear grading schedule/rubric. Walkthroughs & 3 retakes for projects. Unlimited retakes for quizzes. 2 Honorlock exams (pretty difficult if you dont study enough). Overall easy class, but DONT expect ANY compassion for extra credit/redos on exams/extensions.
Great professor and overall easy class. The projects are easy if you watch her videos and the quizzes you have unlimited tries. As long as you do every assignment and study the powerpoints and quizlets for the exams its an easy A. I got high bs on both exams which are honorlock and ended with a 95 in the class.
For the asynchronous online class I was in, she offered step-by-step instructional videos for the projects that were invaluable. There weren't lectures or classes, but her Canvas was well-organized and her instructions were very clear.
Her instruction was always very clear and she was a very fair grader.
If you take this class make sure to take it with Professor Peaden. She is amazing, posted step by step for all projects and unlimited tries for quizzes. Only 2 tests and honestly the content is not even that hard. You can tell that she wants everyone to understand the content for which EVERYTHING you need is on Canvas. Great teacher!
Quizzes have unlimited attempts, guided projects have full videos going through them step by step for both Windows and Mac users, so, easy 100s. Very quick to answer on discussion posts for questions regarding assignments. Exams were easy and required very little studying to succeed, and even then, guided projects and quizzes cushion grade.
She constantly emails you reminders for due dates, and provides weekly updates with all the materials u need. All the word/excel projects can easily be done with a youtube vid. All quizzes are unlimited attempts. Must study a lot for 2 test-all multiple choice or T/F. No meetings, do on ur own time.
Easy class. She does the projects for you you just have to follow along. You will get an automatic 100 on everything except for the 2 exams which are easy anyway. All the quizzes are on Quizlet. I could have gotten a 50% on my second exam and I still would've passed with an A. She also constantly gives announcements to remind you of due dates.
I have a friend taking CGS 2060, different teacher. Peaden is way more structured and easy to follow since she was online before covid. Even taking her class during summer, its not overfilled with work. Easy A if you keep up with it. 8 total quizzes, a few guided projects, and two exams. Can find tons of study guides on quizlet. I recommend her.
This class is very simple. There are about 7 Guided Projects with full walkthrough videos if you need help and two exams which are Honorlock and pretty much come from the quizzes/study guide. I would say taking notes could help you pass and studying the guide/quizzes, I got high B's/A's on both exams. She is easy to reach and has a clear syllabus.
Super easy class all the assignments are quizzes and guided projects except for two tests that have the same questions as the quizzes.
Mrs. Peadon made this class simple and easy. She provides you with all the info you need to review for the quizzes and tests which makes the whole course pretty straight forward. She lets you retake the quizzes as much as you want and projects up to three times which is nice. Never had to reach out to her for help once.
Basically did all the projects for you. unlimited trys on quizzed.
All of the test questions are on the quizzes so just do the quizzes a bunch (all of them are unlimited tries), memorize answers, and get a 100 on both tests. She does the projects for you step by step in her youtube videos, all you gotta do is follow along. You'd have to be brain dead to get anything less than an A in this class.
Professor Peaden is so kind. She puts all instructions for each assignment on Canvas, so if you try to study and keep up with the deadlines, you will get an easy A.
Such an easy class. Very straight forward. She post announcements constantly to make sure your on track and the projects are insanely easy. Highly recommend!
Does not teach, you just read an online textbook. Will not work with you on grades whatsoever, even if you are off by a tenth of a percent. As a professor she is of no help, although the class is easy in and of itself, just a god awful teacher.
Super helpful teacher. Multiple attempts on projects and quizzes. The only thing you need to study hard for is the 2 exams, which are on Honorlock and 40 questions each. She gives a helpful study guide for each one, so just review that and the quizzes and you'll pass. She also posts her own YouTube videos with step-by-step instructions for projects
- Easiest A you'll ever get - 2 honor lock tests - Unlimited attempts on quizzes - 3 attempts on guided projects with very detailed instructions - No extra credit - Textbook dependent - She keeps communication open despite the class being entirely online and always reminds us of due dates 24 hrs in advance
This class is super easy and you don't have many assignments throughout the semester. The exams are honor lock so you have to study but the projects are fairly easy. You don't hear much from the professor because it's an online class but she gives you all the information you need on Canvas. Make sure you read the syllabus too!
easy class
I recommend if looking to satisfy the credit. There is not much work assigned per week and she is clear about upcoming assignments and their due date. The exams are not hard if you study and the content is not difficult to comprehend.
If you fail this class that is on you. It's the easiest thing I had to do during summer term for a computer fluency requirement and you don't have a lot of assignments a week. You can even work ahead to an extent it's that easy.
Professor Peaden could not make your life any easier! Great communication, canvas is organized. You can work at own pace. you have open note quizzes, Word and excel projects, she provides step by step videos for (cannot fail), 2 honorlock exams. She is so sweet, feeling like I don't have a fourth class!
Great online professor, every week was the same things, read a chapter and take a quiz, sometimes you will have an excel project but she posts step by step instructions so its not hard. Just keep up with the readings and fill out the study guides and you will succeed.
This class should be the easiest class you take ever. She posts video guides that walk you through ever project and you can retake every quiz. The only annoying thing is that you need to do the study guide for the tests. This class is pretty pointless, but you can get weeks worth of assignments done in an hour.
The only people who say this class is anything but an easy A are freshman who don't know anything about college yet. She literally walks you through doing the projects, the quizzes are unlimited attempts, and the tests are just the quizzes
She posts videos that show you how exactly how to do the projects. Use quizlet to study for the quizzes and you should get an A.
EASYYY A if u do every assignment. she has videos showing u how to do every guided project and the weekly quizzes are unlimited attempts. 2 tests on honorlock, no final but the tests were literally just the questions from the quizzes
Easy class. There's guided projects every week or two but there are videos that go step by step, so if you follow those, you'll get a 100. Quizzes are easy as long as you read the textbook chapters.
This was my first time taking a 6 week course and it was honestly a great experience. She gives you every possible chance to get as many points as possible and has step by step videos on how to do all the projects. Only time you have to put some time in to study is for the exams and even those I barely studied for and got B's both times
easiest summer class ever! I was totally able to put this class on the back burner and focus on other things. Every quiz gives you three tries and the projects are super easy and also have three tries. Tests are honor locked, but if you just look through the quiz questions beforehand you should be fine.
online class, two tests, no final, all projects had videos made by her explaining everything step by step you can literally follow along, all quizzes are open note open internet the tests come straight from the quizlets online.two honorlock tests all multiple choice about 40-45 questions each an hour long. very easy to communicate with. very nice.
Easiest class you'll take, and you learn how to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Wish I learned this stuff in high school. Highly recommend.
Mrs. P is great! It's an online class and I struggle with those, but she gives reminders to do assignments by deadlines which helped me with procrastination. Expectations are super clear, just read, follow the videos she makes for Excel assignments, and study her study guides for tests. She does a great tips zoom at the beginning of the course.
Easy class, with lots of instruction. Exams are weighted heavy and about 40 questions, they are pretty hard but the rest of the class is easy.
Fully online class so you are mostly reading the book and doing the quizzes and projects. Quizzes are open note and you have unlimited tries so it is easy. Projects are guided and you have 3 attempts. Tests are a lot harder, each is 45 questions and honor-locked. I highly recommend doing the study guide as you read, it will help with the test/quiz.
Incredibly easy class! She has videos guiding the projects and then there are 2 quizzes almost every week but they are super easy. Very little reading and most of the info is common sense. Overall, super super easy online class with a few minorly difficult exams.
Super easy class!! Professor Peaden is very organized and consistently gives reminders about deadlines to help you stay on track. She posts step-by-step tutorials to complete the projects and the quizzes are really easy when you fill out the study guide she gives you. You should get an A+ if you just do the work and follow her instructions.
This course was so easy, I would forget I'm taking it. Quizzes can be taken as many times as you need, Exams are HonorLocked (but use the quiz questions and study resources available online ex. quizlet), and the projects all have step-by-step instructions as well as her videos explaining it. As long as you do the work on-time it's the easiest A.
I absolutely loved her class. I am not a computer person, but I really enjoyed learning this material. The class is not difficult, but if you struggle, she responds very fast. She is awesome, and I would 100% recommend taking her class.
Great teacher, responds back to any questions/concerns and makes criteria clear at start of class. The tests are honor locked, but if you study from the quiz questions and study guide you'll get an A. She provides help videos for all projects that walk you through entire thing. Overall fairly easy and fun class and teacher is great too.
This class was a good introduction to excel. The quizzes have unlimited attempts and are open notes, and she has a step-by-step guide to the guided projects so you're sure to get 100s on all of them. There are three exams that are on honor lock but she makes exam guides that have a lot of questions on them and her slides are very informative.
This class is very simple as long as you keep up with the announcements and make sure to read before each quiz and exam. The professor is very strict on deadlines and if you miss them, your grade will be deducted.
Professor Peaden gave clear criteria for all of the word, excel, and powerpoint projects. There are 3 exams on honor lock, but as long as you fill out the study guides they're easy.
I took her class completely online and it was very easy. My only problem is that the quizzes are super easy but the tests are honorlock which makes it a pain to take. There is only 3 exams and if you read the book you should be fine there is also quizlets on them. Projects with guided videos on how to do them. Overall a good professor.
Grades are mostly based on exams. You will not learn much. Exams rely heavily on memorization. Know that she only teaches the assignments and is no help at all when it comes to exams. If you have a great memory and like to study for exams, sure take the class, otherwise, I wouldn't. The worst class I have taken at FSU so far.
This is a pretty easy course. No problems with instructor.
Probably the easiest class I've ever taken. I really like how she has interactive projects as I feel I actually learned the material. I would recommend taking a class with her.
Ending with an 89.67 because of strict syllabus policy. Tests felt incredibly unnecessary for the class in comparison to the projects. Prepare your mind for useless memorization of an outdated textbook.
highly recommend taking her if you need an easy A. Graded based on guided projects but she makes step-by-step videos on how to do them so you can get a 100%. The quizzes can be found online and the exams are just quiz questions (it is honor lock though). I've Taken her twice for two different courses and would continue to take her if I could.
Pretty easy course apart from the tests. The quizzes were super easy with unlimited attempts and she posts video tutorials for all Excel projects. I found the tests to be a bit ridiculous because they are so much harder than the quizzes and the content didn't feel useful. As long as you turn in your work and at put in some effort you'll be fine.
This class was literally so easy. Just a couple of quizzes but mostly guided projects. For the guided project, she literally gives a tutorial on how to do each step and then gives you unlimited attempts on top of that. As far as tests go, I just studied on quizlet. Def recommend.
One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Quizzes were multiple takes and typically had stuff that was in the lecture videos. Guided projects were multiple attempts, as well. Exams were easy and covered stuff already seen in the quizzes. Was 2 questions off a perfect 100% in the class.
Professor Peaden gives CLEAR instructions for every assignment. It is very easy to get a 100% in this class. She also has her email open til 12am when the assignment is due and answers all her emails promptly. I definitely recommend this course.
For every unit in the textbook she created a powerpoint presentation and video that went along with the chapter. She made it very easy to understand. For every project, there was a step by step video showing how to complete the project to make sure you got a 100%. There are multiple attempts on every assignment. All quizzes and tests are open note
Quizzes retakable 5x, likely only need 2. She sends out weekly reminders for deadlines. You can move ahead of pace but some items unlock at a specific time. Online textbook is mandatory (extra cost). YouTube tutorials exist at an easy-to-understand pace for the ExCEL, Word, and PowerPoint assignments.
I would 100% recommend taking this class online. At least for me, all of the homework and quizzes were open textbooks and open notes. So take good notes. Also, she was accessible and posted videos, FAQs, and other tips to help us get an A. 10/10!
This was an amazing class and Ms.Peaden was an awesome teacher!! I took this class online over the summer and had no issues. The grading criteria was straight forward and exams were not honorlock. Highly highly recommend!
Very easy class, all of the projects are ran through by her. Hard not to get an A.
No exception for late work even by an hour unless its university excused. Projects were easy bc her guided videos and the tests were also straight forward. Don't turn anything in late and you'll be fine hard not to get an A if your turn stuff in on time.
I took this class online asynchronously over the summer. Honestly everything was super easy and all the answers for everything is online. The projects are common sense and if you get confused, there are youtube tutorials for everything. Honestly, it's really hard to not get an A. She is clear in what she expects and makes sure you stay on track!
I took it as a summer course, so we only had 6 weeks making it about 2 quizzes/exams and multiple homework assignments/projects a week. The homework is as simple as it can be and won't take longer than 30 minutes per assignment. Overall 9 quizzes with 5 attempts each and 3 exams which are all open notes and give way more time than needed. So easy!
Such an easy class!!! She has emailed me back immediatly and walked me through everything. She has step by step videos on how to complete each assignment and tests are open note and online. 10/10 recommend
The class was fully online so the professor was mostly irrelevant. All the homework tells you exactly what to do and all quizzes/exams are open book. It's an easy class and the professor you have does not matter.
Great Professor who knows how to teach a computer class. Take it, you won't regret it.
Timely and helpful responses to emails. Has many TAs who can help during office hours. Very simple course required for many majors (nothing to sweat over!). Haven't taken CGS2100 but 2060 is among the easiest courses offered here at FSU
She makes everything so simple! I really appreciated her!
This class took maybe around one hour MAX per week, with assignments and tests being done fully online. The entire course is laid out months in advance on Canvas so students can work ahead as needed. One annoying thing is the number of Canvas notifications I received about office hours for this class, considering I never once felt the need to go. k
Very clear expectations, do the work which she shows you exactly how to do, you will get an A. She also gives multiple chances.
She was so annoying about work
Class is very easy. There are nine quizzes and three exams, all fairly simple. The rest of the class is just Excel projects that she posts videos step by step on how to get 100%. I definitely recommend this class for an easy A.
Extremely easy online class. Easiest A you can get. Open note exams and tests. Homeworks are easy but if you get lost there's always a YouTube video you can watch to help you. Replies to emails quickly and is helpful.
Didn't round my 91.17 to a 92 even after the shooting, DO NOT TAKE!!
Very easy. multiple chances on quizzes, tests, and assignments. Very easy to follow along. Open note. She was very nice too!
Super easy online class. Multiple attempts on all the open notes quizzes. Step by step videos on the Excel chapter projects. Definitely a very easy class.
I found this class to be very easy and enjoyable. Professor Peaden was very helpful and very caring towards her students. Easy A.
Really chill teacher. Weekly assignments due at the end of the week that anyone could do. She gives video tutorials on her assignments. Literally impossible to fail.
This lady is great she makes a video for every possible situation. Everything open book open note, and super easy, and there's like 15 ta's with office hours every day. She is great.
Such an easy online class if you put in the effort. The professor was a lot of help when needed, and explains everything thru youtube videos.
Great class to take if you're looking for an easy elective! Just one or two super easy assignments each week that take like 15 mins each, open note quizzes (multiple attempts) and exams. She even makes youtube videos walking through assignments step by step.
Super easy class, graded on quizzes, exams, and guided word and excel projects. Each project had a video explaining and showing each step. There were separate videos for both Mac users and windows users. None of the quizzes or exams were proctored. Take her online class over any other professors classes online or in person.
