The most incompetent teacher I've ever had. Very poor communication skills. Out of every question I heard asked of him in class, not one did he successfully answer.

Good Teacher! Fairly easy class have to know: Word, PPT, Access, Excel. Class mandatory for Tests and Extra Credit. Offers alot of Extra Credit...Appx 135pts. You need the book to access the assignements and answer critical thinking questions. If you do the work and try you'll get an A no problem!

Great class, easy to learn, and though it was difficult in some parts it was fun.

Half the material covers the more technical aspects of computers, such as hardware and how software works. If you love computers, then it's fairly interesting. The other half of the class covers the usage of Microsoft Office, which is boring for everyone. If you can read and are good at CLOSELY following instructions, then this class is a breeze.

I enjoyed prof. Brown's class. He is very patient in dealing with a bunch of frustrated students trying to learn access.

It is an intense course but there is great class participation

There are a few assignments in this class that are difficult, but overall it's pretty easy The professor is great and very helpful. He will answer all your questions if needed and he is also very understanding.

This class requires a lot of time. It is basically like taking an Online Class. The class isn't hard, just a lot of busy work. Prof. Brown gives you a couple opportunities for extra credit. The tests come from the quizzes so you know what is on the test. If you have a busy schedule don't take this class during the summer.

I took this class in the summer and it took a lot of time out of me as everyday there is something due so if you have a free summer then take it otherwise dont.Many chances to get extra credit and if you do the quizzes you have all the answers to the test.Plus any question you may have he is more than happy to help you.I recommend him to anyone.

class may have been an online class. if you miss a deadline even if your kid is in surgery you cannot make it up. you better know what your doing before you get there. if not he will give you a short answer and walk off, doesnt matter if you understand or not.

Mr. Brown has a very easy class. He does not require standing up in front of the class for a presentation. But, if you are new to computers you may want a more hands on teacher that can help you.

Easy Class but he wasn't much help when you asked certain questions about some assignments. Sometimes it seemed like he didn't know the program as much as he should. Also, if you communicate any problems (like being sick, ect.) with him, he'll work with you to keep up. I would take the class for an easy grade. Just make sure you do all your work.

I think Professor Brown class was an interesting class but training in class is very important and the training. Also if you're computer illiterate then GO TO THE COMPUTERS LABS ! Besides that he is a very nice and laid back teacher and follows the syllabus accordingly.

Professor is very helpful as long as you ask him. He starts his lecture as soon as class starts, and most of the time you wanna be there for the lecture. He is considerate of your ability and will slow down as long as it doesn't hold back the class. The assignments are simple and if you do the work and reading, you'll walk out with a good grade.

In Professor Brown's 1401 class, you learn the basics of computers and how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. He gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, and he does hands on training in class, which I found very helpful. If you're not so great with computers, I recommend his class.

Professor Brown has been one of the best professors I have had all year. He's always on time and answers all your questions. He has made the course very simple as it does follow the syllabus from start to finish and does not sneak in any surprise assignments. Overall Professor Brown is an excellent choice when you want to take intro of computers.

Professor Brown is a great teacher. You have 3 times to submit a project and he will take the highest grade. You should get a 100 everytime because it tells you what you need to correct. Very easy class. Just do all of the assignments and you will get an A.

I took this class during the summer as a hybrid class. I already had a bit of knowledge from highschool so it was very easy to me. Not to much work and follows calender exactly. I recomend it.

365 was not include in book software. Which made it difficult to complete sam assignments.

Very helpful, demonstrates all applications aside from online trainings, Mr. Brown will go out of his way anytime. You will use a textbook in this class and the syllabus will never have any exceptions,if there is an assignment due on a specific day,it will always be due that day no matter the circumstances.Overall, Mr. Brown is highly recommended!!

Mr. Brown is a great prof. He knows what he's talking about and after the semester you will to. For whatever reason he started out our first class calling it a monster, but it wasn't. Just do the assignments and you're good to go.

This class is interesting but you have to make sure that you need to update everytime on D2L. You have to make sure you follow the works on his time line and submit it on time; otherwise, you will receive low grade. Yall need to pay attention his steps in class because he goes the direction very quick.

Professor Brown is a helpful computer teacher at Lonestar. He helps me with my schoolwork whenever I need help. Sometimes I do the work by myself, and I get a good grade on every assignment. He also gives the class extra credit in order for us to pass his class. I think I might be able to pass.

Mr. Brown is a really helpful professor. Each Tuesday we do hands on training which means he goes step by step teaching us how to work on certain computer programs. Because of this class I have learned many things. I really enjoyed this class because Mr. Brown was always ready to answer questions.

Mr. Brown is a person who will willingly help you if you ask him for help. His tests aren't too hard. However, it is highly recommended that you study for the tests assigned. The projects he gives are all pretty easy. The only program students seemed to struggle with was using Access and sometimes Excel.

Mr. Brown, is an amazing teacher that helps students in answering there questions clearly and thoroughly, this class is amazing and is meant for people to succeed and not fail.

In this class you have to pay attention to detail. if he does something, do it his way even if their is another way to do it. he does everything for a reason. plus, it will assure you that you want have questions.

Grades tough, but all fair. He gives extra credit opportunity at the end of the school year when you've missed some assignments in his class. Lenient and helps when we ask for it. Very thorough with his work and does a practice assignment before we do the actual one.

Make sure you read the online modules to do the projects and quizzes. Do that and it'll make the semester go by so much faster and easier. Real cool guy. Don't be afraid to ask questions; the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

The books are a must for this class. Be sure to do the textbook projects exactly as the book tells you. Tutoring is a good way to get help if you are not understanding the projects. Be sure to stay ahead on your work because it can pile up quickly if you do not stay on top of it.

If you ask questions he is more than willing to help you out and help work through whatever problem you many have, textbook is a must and you will have a computer project almost every week but it is very manageable if you know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite. The class was easy since the Professor made every assignment clear and easy to understand.

Professor Brown is very laid-back and very informative. You will have multiple discussion posts to do, but they are very easy and do-able. The tests are STRAIGHT FROM THE QUIZZES, and the answers are easy to memorize (EASY A'S!). The "projects" are very easy and you will have three chances to make a 100 on them.

The grades are graded by an online grading system. Adrian helps but if he can't figure it out you're out of luck. It's a lot of little projects but if you finish them and keep up you'll do okay. The grading is harsh because it is done by a system.

Lot's of work but the only part of the class that poses a lot of difficulty is learning Access, but that's because Access is a mess. Learned a lot of really helpful tools pretty easily and the tests are literally straight from the quizzes.

I benefited from the hands-on labs when the concepts were difficult, but I also appreciated being free to do my work at mostly my own pace. He gives lectures when we need it, but we still hold a level of independence when doing classwork, which is great because everyone can go at their own pace.

It was a summer term, but it was a good class.
