Excellent teacher. I'd highly recommend him to anyone. He's very helpful and CAN teach. He's not one of these 'robot' teachers that I'm sure we've all ran across. Attendance isn't mandatory. Textbook usage is very low, might not even need it actually, just google that type of problem the class is working on.

He is a very good professor, he knows what he teaches, he is willing to help if you did not understand a topic, take home quizzes.. he is just a GREAT professor and he is very HANDSOME

He's by far the best looking professor on campus. He makes complicated math problems easy to understand. He teaches you how to figure out the problem and once it clicks you are set for the exam. No more cheat sheets but he does give you a formula sheet.

I was lucky enough to have professor Novio for both stats 1 and stats 2 by chance. I do not like math by any means but professor Novio made it a lot easier to learn and retain the knowledge for the tests. his test were fair and he taught us how to use the calculater to do the formulas He was an awesome professor and I'd highly recommend taking him

Professor Novio was an awesome Stats teacher. He will go over the content over and over again. Easy class if you're decent in math. If you skip a class, it's harder to understand the content. He is definitely eye candy. Only use textbook for homework.

He cares about his students progress & is a fair grader but he can be a bit temperamental. He is not the first. Some MCC professors are spreading themselves out too thin. Hes late on posting grades and answering emails. My sister also had the same issue. Other than that, the work is easy, no surprises on tests but practice is a must. I got a B.

I was fortunate enough to have Professor Novio for both MAT 123 and MAT 124. He is a good guy who really cares about his students. He is always more than willing to explain the material. If you do the homework and follow along, you'll be good. And don't listen to those comments below... LIES! It's an incredibly easy 10 step project! Take him!!!

he is the greatest stats professor, If you do not pass his class, then perhaps college is not your thing. all you need to do is studying from the materials or homeworks, then you will pass the tests, write a good note because it will help you a lot!

I am taking this professor for STATS II and he is bar far the best teacher I've ever encountered. His exams are straight forward as long as you go to class and do the homework. He gives you all the tools you will could possibly need to understand the material. He is a great professor. Do the work and you'll get an A / A+ no problem.

This professor is awesome, truly recommend. I'm not quite sure why students are rating him poorly, that's far from the truth. His tests are basically the same as the review. He's really cool and is willing to help you if you need extra help. He gives 3 tests, a final and no midterm.

He is honestly a really good professor. He teaches in a way that is clear. He reviews everything the class before the test its almost impossible to fail if you just do the hw, which is usually only 2 to 4 questions. He goes over all hw if you just ask and the project is really easy and short. Easy A if you ask me especially for math

I would never come to this website to write a review; its usually to read them, but this professor def deserves this. He is, and I honestly mean it - the best professor I have ever had. He genuinely does everything he can to make sure you can understand the material. Being that math is my poor subject, I enjoyed his class a lot. Amazing!

He was a great professor, pretty straightforward with the work. His class is graded on exams so make sure you do good on them, but he was clear about everything that would be on the exam. Don't skip class though or you'll be lost, but he always willing to help he will answer any question you have.

I loved his class. He is such a good teacher and I was able to understand everything he taught. I thought the class was easy as long as you study, attend every class and complete all the online homework he gives. If your someone who didnt do good in high school and had a really hard time in algebra you should absolutely take him.

Great guy. Took pre-calc in high school and failed but when he taught it, I got an A. I just paid attention and went took every class. He clearly states what is on the tests and final. Responded to emails almost immediately. Pretty funny and could be really fun with an engaging class.

One of the best prof, I ever have taken at MCC. I took 3 classes of Math with him, he makes math very easy than you thought. By far the BEST Math professor I've ever had! I am HORRIBLE at math. But he thaught every concept in easy ways that I could remember. If you're bad at Math or want a super a funny professor, he's your guy. Super clear in teaching, only online homework twice a week, and tests are super easy! He takes time to help his students. Attend all your classes so you're not lost the next class. Test grades matter most but do your homework, it will seriously help. H:W and reviews r exactly the test! There's only 3 tests plus a final. He reviews and gives study guides before exams and tells you what' on the test so pay attention. Super funny and easy, I'm taking him next semester!!

A really great professor. Lectures a thorough so you don't need to read the book unless you want to. He will go over everything you need to know to complete hw and tests successfully. A lot of opportunities to increase grade through hw which is worth 50%. Three tests which are exactly like hw assignments and a project which he goes over in detail.

Although this was an 100% online class, the professor did have Zoom sessions 2 times a week for all of his classes to participate and watch later. He made the subject easy with the homework and tests all with similar content. We have a project that tied all of the topics together and let us put our teaching into practice. Very solid professor, I had him for calc one during spring of 2020. It ended up being on campus for a bit and then going on to online due to covid. Just attend all the lectures, pay attention, do the homework, and you will do great. He is very good in teaching!

One of the best professors I've ever had during my time at MCC. He has a lot of patience and is always willing to help and answer questions. If you watched the recorded video of the optional meeting zoom, did the HW, and took the test, there's no reason you couldn't achieve an A in this class. He gives enough time to complete the assignment.

The professor will teach you Mathematics, FR! I was never good at maths but thanks to professor Novio, I would get the concepts right. Just because of the homework assignments and the way he explains the toughest questions, is exceptional. Great classes.

Professor Novio was wonderful to have for my least favorite subject ever, math. He's very straightforward, gave good lectures, and was extremely lenient with the homework. He helped me understand every chapter. I never worried or stressed over the assignments, either. He also stayed after class with me for up to an hour to help me with anything.

Ok, so Prof. Novio is the best. This was a class totally online, at the beginning we had a lot of homework but at some point, he unlocked everything in case you were behind. He also posts weekly zoom videos, and the quizes are exactly the same as the previous homework. Nice guy

I took this class online over the winter couple week course. Professor Novio is a great person, there is alot of homework but it was expected for a winter math class. Was not too hard but not easy either. With alot of work there are 15 homework passes to extend your due date which was awesome. Take his class you wont regret it.

had him for both statistics 1 and calculus (online). both were good. responsive outside of class. understanding. gives you 12 late passes for homework, each worth four days. pretty hard to do bad in the class if you pay attention. exam questions just like the homework.

Out of All the available Professors at Mcc for the Math coarse named MATH-285, Professor Novio is The best teacher to have. The information is available in canvas and the videos attached to the questions in the HWs.There is No Final Exam! He gives everyone late passes. However, I have to give him a 4 star instead of 5 because he gives a Project.

Professor Novio knows his stuff. I struggled a lot with Pre Calculus and took him for Calculus 1 and did exceptionally well. He is very accessible outside of class, because he has office hours and is always willing to answer your questions. At the beginning of each class all questions are answered from the previous week's work by him.

Everything was so well organized and just one assignment per week and three tests. Project was super easy. He also gave us 15 late passes which i barely used. Even gave us extra credit at the end of the semester and pushed my grade up by 2%

Professor Adrian Novio is very knowledgeable and respectful teacher. He has clear and straightforward syllabus. Pretty easy exams and assignments, if you follow the instructions. Makes statistics easy to understand and interesting to learn. I highly recommend to take his classes, if you have an opportunity.

He's and easy grader, he always gives feedback and encourages to answer any problems. Goes through problems on homework and goes through examples in the homework and extra. The test are just like the homework. He is also very understanding and gives extra time for certain homeworks.

As someone who is NOT good with math but needed this specific course for my major, please take Professor Novio. His class consists of a regular routine of taking notes based off the homework and doing those homework problems as examples. Three tests and 1 final project relating to some of the content.
