Adrian would often change the place we would meet last minute and then half the class wouldn't know. The paper conferences with him were helpful but he didnt clearly explain the ciriculum of our requierments until the day it was due. Adrian is a really cool guy though and and a first year professor, so he will get better and I would take him again.

He was very understanding and had a great sense of humor. He often seemed unorganized and after the first two weeks of school, his curriculum and requirements became more vague.

I was Adrian's first class. I think he did mess up on a few things and wasn't clear on a lot of little things. But I honestly think he learned a lot and will be an even better teacher than he was for us. He is really funny, and if you really seek his help he will give it to you. Good teacher. Way easy to get a decent grade on your papers. But you know that and it made me slack a little and not get working faster. He connected to the students. My main complaint is he often got distracted and wasn't very good at keeping the class going especially if he thought the topic was boring also. Good instructor though.

Adrian is very helpful. He can help find ways to improve your papers even if you don't have specific questions. He covers material fairly thoroughly. He does a good job keeping the material he shows to demonstrate specific topics interesting. I usually have a hard time getting essays done but I was able to get things in on time.

He gives clear rubrics of how to get an A on your papers, but if you feel like you follow it and don't get the grade you wanted, no worries, he does rewrites and its easy to raise your grade! He is willing to help you get the grade you want, and there's no final!

I loved this class. But I love to write and would probably take this class from anyone. Adrian's cool, he's not too tough on grading and he gives you a chance to revise three pieces for a higher score. It was an easy A. The assignments are actually fun because it's all about creative writing and there aren't a ton of rules or grading criteria.

This teacher was one of my favorite teachers that I have had here at BYU. I have loved taking his class. It says you can only miss 2 times, but I missed more and he was always working with me. I better learned to write in this class. Some busy work, but I did less than 2 hours a week and became a better writer by applying what he taught. Funny guy.

After taking Adrian's class, I feel a lot more comfortable writing a paper and have actually felt excited to write some of the papers that were assigned in his class. There is some busy work but the class is definitely worth taking.

There are just three real paper that you write and he gives you plenty of time to work on them. After you get your test back, you can re-write/correct it to boost your grade. 10/10
